hiya. bit of a personal post here that's been a long time coming but

a while back now my younger sibling finally got an issue properly diagnosed as a lung disease and as such, she requires a double lung transplant - my family is asking for help through this gofundme page here. it'd mean the world to me if y'all help her out in one way or another, be it donating any amount or just reblogging this post around so that others might

a lil more detail on things under the cut

basically she'd had this persistent cough for a while and tho she'd gone to the doctor a few times about it, they wrote it off each time as allergies or something stupid without really looking at her - until a few months ago now when she finally went to urgent care, then to a proper emergency room and they discovered that her lungs were essentially ruined. idk if they ever discerned by what exactly but it doesn't really matter at this point as her breathing is heavily restricted and her heart is kinda working overtime

the good news is that she's been on oxygen for a bit and she's also on the waitlist for the transplant already - but the call for it can come at basically anytime between now and next year, meaning my family kinda has to stay ready at a moment's notice which is what this gofundme is for - to help them now, when the time comes, and afterwards, as the situation is as u can imagine very stressful and demanding of all of us, especially of her

but she's been brave, strong. and she hasn't deserved any of this, given just how good a person she is. how much she's tried to help others, to do for others, to keep our family together. I honestly have no idea how she's kept her smile up for as long as she has and I've struggled with making this post in large part bc of how paintful it's been to see her go thru that which she never asked for, that she truly doesn't deserve. she's struggled, it's been hard, but she's still going all the same

so I feel it my responsibility to at least try and help her out beyond the day to day odds and ends and perhaps use whatever audience I somehow have to lend her a hand as she needs it most. so again please if you are in a position where u can donate - consider dropping some at this link here, any amount helps right now and even if u can't, reblogging to get the word around would help a bit too

Lazy Morning

word count — i didn’t count, i wrote this in my notes app at like 5 am so my bad but it’s short so don’t worry

content warning — none really, kanke calls reigen ‘arataka’ because technically arataka is his first name but dubbed fucked it up. anyways. gay people, because they’re gay.

There was something so peaceful and domestic about two lovers sleeping in bed. Wrapped up in each other’s arms like the other would slip away if they let go.

Reigen laid on top of Kanke, holding him down in his sleep with his face slotted peacefully in his neck. It was peaceful, even with Reigen’s snoring. The sun was only just peeking through the mostly closed blinds. Everything was perfect and nothing would bother them.

That was until Reigen’s cheesy alarm went off.

He groans, not opening his eyes in fear that he’d never go back to sleep. So he rolls around and slaps around for wherever his alarm was. Hitting it a few times before it stops. Then rolling back around and returning to his previous position. Back into Kanke’s arms.

“No.. Arataka get up.. We have work…” The blond groans, lazily patting Reigen’s back. Much to his lover’s dismay. The younger man doesn’t move, instead wrapping his arms tighter and pressing him farther into the bed.

“Work can wait,” He murmurs, not bothering to move when he felt Kanke’s hand on his back, “Ten more minutes.” Wrapping his leg around Kanke’s to try and trap him there, laying part of his body on top of his.

It’s been a while since they’ve had a moment like this. Together alone, no kids, no coworkers, no spirits, just them. Reigen wanted to make every last bit of it count, even if it meant forcing Kanke to stay put.

“But Arataka—“ He was cut off with a finger to his lips, effectively shushing him as he watches Reigen’s hands lazily do their thing before pointing at himself.

“I, Reigen Arataka, will be staying in bed with his husband. And there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Kanke doesn’t say anything to try and protest. As much as his body screamed at him to get up and work, when he could just move Reigen with his powers, he didn’t. With a sigh, he wraps both arms around Reigen’s torso. “Fine, we can stay for a few minutes longer.”

With an affirmative smile, Reigen pulls up the blanket to cover the both of them and finds solace in Kanke’s neck.

They’ll both sleep for a while longer, only until Serizawa calls them panicking about not being able to open the doors. But until then, they’ll lay in each other’s arms.

Peaceful, and relaxed.

Eden: A teeny-tiny little clock. Mmmaybe called E-Gear.

Levi: Definitely a sewing needle or a fashionable...monkey???(I have no idea why I chose that animal for the record). Uhhh, we'll call him Leonard.

Arturo: Some kind of plastic doll. He's called uhhh Arube.

Min: A rag doll that's dressed as a teacher. We'll call her Mire.

David: A star whose color changes depending on his mood. Callin' him Daybreak.

Veronika: A big spider person. Let's call her Verbetae.

J: A puppet on a string. Callin' her Jame.

Whit: A broken heart individual. Callin' him Whicry (We cry).

Nico: A cat individual that's painted as the nonbinary colors. They'll be called uhhhh...Newmew.

Half of these names suck, but I am so tired rn, so deal with it..../j

Gala and Nori are twins, born at the exact same time, and the oldest, what had happened is that Bandee and Marx were snuggling while Kirby was away and just talking about future stuff, eventually they both fell asleep and Marx later got woken up by his wings shocking him with magic and then he looks down at the end of the bed and sees two small fluff balls (he calls Meta knight in a panic)

Back by (alarmingly) popular demand; Nightmare!!

And Dream’s debut!

I wanted these two to be pretty distinct from both their canon and fanon depictions. As such, they are both HORRIBLE guardians of their respective trait.

Genuinely, if it weren’t for the aura they carry and how positivity and negativity affect them, their roles might as well be reversed.

Dream tends to distance himself from those he loves leading him to be a very absent, emotionally and literally, caretaker for Palette. He’s always on the go. Needing to be everywhere at once. Helping as many people as possible. All to his own detriment.

Nightmare likes to put up a grumpy, narcissistic, and downright evil front, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. He would never admit it but he adores his gang. Though, other than those three he’s completely isolated.

Oh also!

Nightmare has largely overcome his curse. Don’t get me wrong, he still has a ton of left over resentment and wants to inflict the same pain he received, but he’s still himself. Dream, however, is not convinced. He wholeheartedly believes his brother died that day and has completely given up hope on “curing” him.

They’re so silly I love them <3

Extra notes:

Dream’s pendant works the same as Palette’s little wish balls except his are for hopes and dreams.

Nightmare’s moon necklace is all that’s left of his crown.

IM BACK BABY! Oh boy, this was a LOOONG answer to an ask. I took a break from this series to work on stuff on my main art account. (I will reveal that soon) I lost motivation to finish coloring this one, I'm sorry 😭 If I've learned anything, it's that I can't push myself to finish something or else nothing will get done.
