Astro Observations pt.21

Back with some very random Astro observations 😁

⚫ Saturn aspecting the 7th house actually can dislike 9 to 5 jobs or corporate office jobs. They are better with freelancing. Its coz they can't take orders. Sorry not sorry. 💀(Ig that's a Saturn 7H thing 😆)

⚫ An interesting thing I observed: Among two siblings, the elder one has Leo rising which means Scorpio 4H and the younger one has Scorpio moon. And their Mom is a Scorpio moon too. She's a nice lady though but is such a control freak. (I know I am one too, but like when I met her the second time that "controlling" vibe just hit me like a big yellow school bus 🚌😭😭). That was so funny lol😂. -All the more her birthdate is a single digit 1.(these people are the alpha type, always lead and never follow and hence are dominating, one to have the last say) which is cherry on top. -She is fiercely protective of her kids. Can't emphasize enough on "fierce" part. Very strict. Rules are to be followed very religiously. {She can't stand any one of them doing anything without her knowledge. She even monitors whom they interact with what they do on their mobiles etc.(from what I suspect)} (obv Scorpio moon mom traits) (sometimes Leo moon moms too){nothing unhealthy here, just Mom's way of showing they care 😂}

⚫Saturn and Workout: -Workout 🏋️‍♀️requires CONSISTENCY. Saturn LOVES consistency. -In fact the best remedy for Saturn is sweating. JUST SWEAT by hard work. No matter what it maybe: workout, walking, jobs, cardio, sports etc. 🤸‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏋️‍♀️

⚫ Whilst on the topic of Saturn, people who follow a time table for literally everything the planet doesn't harm them much during its Dasha (even if its your worst one). I mean obviously you played by the rules 🤷‍♀️

⚫ Magha is the only nakshatra for which you don't need in depth compatibility match. They get along with everyone.

⚫Scorpio Venuses/8H Venuses are paranoid. They notice and suspect everything (sometimes things which are not there/imaginary). (For eg, me, who thinks that someone is peeping thru my curtains even when nobody is there and all my curtains cover my windows properly. 🤣).

⚫Also as a basic Scorpio Venus behavior: while writing chats/texting, I always think- "what if someone else reads it?"..so I just don't give much details in texts. (Gosh, sometimes I think somethings wrong with me 😭😭)

⚫The proven way to hurt a Leo moon: compare them with any other person and tell them that the person is wayy better in a certain thing esp if it's a triat that the Leo is proud of. 🤣 (P.S don't do that, its mean and the Leo will hunt you, which you don't want 😀.)

⚫Why do Aries moon men have a bunch of good friends for life and Aries moon women struggle with having at least one good genuine female friend for life? (I'm jealous)

⚫ Maybe its becoz they get along more with guys than gals so the girls are jealous of them...so hence no good female friends. 😢🤡 Aries moons are the best-est people for friendships you'll ever get.

⚫ People born on a Saturday look melancholic.

⚫ You can NEVER mislead a Leo rising. They study litreally everything: what you say what you do, and why you do so. Similar to Scorpios

⚫If you see a person having graceful and "royal" way of walking or behaving, they're are sure shot to have a Magha Ascendant.

⚫Connecting the dots here: as I said in one of my previous posts that Maghas get framed even when they have done nothing, what I interpreted is that Maghas are actually the definition of royalty. They literally have that ✨grace✨, that kinda magnanimous personality and similar struggles to a monarch. Totally King/Queen typa energy here. So with that, the usual consequences in a Kingdom is conspiracy against the king, which the Maghas face. (Enough with Maghas ig, started observing them recently so..✌🏻💀)

Hello Apple! I’m working on a puzzle, how would the LU boys do w a puzzle? Would they actually do it or would they set it on fire (I’m looking at u Wild!😑😂)

Ooh! Puzzles!

I think at the very least, Legend is the sort of person who you hand a puzzle and he will be diligently working on it still six hours later (I'm thinking this is probably a 1,000+ piece one, my fav!). He's very happy, although his spine is decidedly not (lol). Puzzles are the most familiar thing this guy can be working on other than fighting, and are much more relaxing. Happy space for him, bunny enrichment. He starts puzzles by trying to work on the edges, but usually ends up getting sidetracked with recognizable items or pieces that clearly go together. Takes great delight in piecing together small chunks he's already completed into a bigger chunk, but he refuses to look at the box in order to do so (he likes the challenge of figuring it out himself). I think he's very careful when moving portions so they won't break too. Tends to hum or sing as he works, although it's sort of distorted by curling up like he does over the puzzle.

I feel like Warriors enjoys them too. Less so all by himself, but give him a puzzle buddy and he's happy to put together all the little pieces into something bigger. It's mentally stimulating while also not too strenuous. He's either humming or chatting the whole while, and he probably would love a long conversation with his puzzle partner while they're working. He's also the sort to start with the border, but he'd actually finish before going elsewhere. He sorts the pieces by similar color/texture as he goes, which definitely makes things easier for whomever he's working with, which is his intent. there's nothing more satisfying for him than being able to help his partner find the exact piece they need and than watching their face light up.

Four is the sort of person you would expect to enjoy puzzles, but in reality, it's a nightmare trying to work with four different voices wanting to do different things. Vio gets irritated sometimes with how long it takes and how many times he has to look for certain pieces. He'd rather be doing other stuff. Red doesn't particularly enjoy big puzzles, but he's also the sort to sort pieces for his brothers. He likes making piles of the pieces for Green and Blue and then just going off elsewhere. Blue actually really enjoys puzzles, because they small details and the satisfaction of seeing them come together make his perfectionist brain happy (he will lose his mind if there is a single piece missing at the end though). Green just likes them, more casually than anything. He'll do them with Blue, but not on his own.

Hyrule finds them sort of boring. He, like Green, will help for a short while, but he doesn't get the appeal of putting together small pieces of cardboard into a big picture. He's not even likely to do it as a bonding thing, and gets bored sort of quickly.

Wind enjoys puzzles in the short term. He'll work on smaller ones (500-) in spurts or pop in and out to help, but the bigger ones just make him want to give up after a while. it's not because he doesn't want to help, it's just he has too much energy and not enough of an attention span to sit still putting a puzzle together. He's happy to help on and off though if anyone else doing the puzzle will let him. Puts together the recognizable or large portions first, but spends a lot of time looking at the box to see where everything goes.

For Time, count him out. His patience cannot with these things. There's too many fiddly pieces and he's only got one eye to look at them all with. Like heck he's going to stare at them for hours on end just to make a picture!

Sky will help if he likes what the puzzle depicts, but he's more there for the company, and gets easily distracted. He's the one who ends up holding a puzzle piece for forever, just chatting with someone else until Legend realizes that he's got the very piece the vet has been searching for, and thus gets smacked for it. He does best with borders, since it's easier (sort of) to find the pieces and there's only so many ways that they can fit together. If he starts the puzzle with you though, he'll try and stick with you till the end, just because he hates leaving things unfinished, even if he really didn't help a lot.

Twilight has to be in the mood. He's not keen on them most of the time, but animal puzzles are a good distraction sometimes, and if he's doing it with kids then he is all over it. He likes helping others do it more than actually doing it himself, and he's definitely one of the ones who prefers smaller puzzles with only a few hundred pieces.

I think Wild is the sort that says he likes puzzles, but most of his puzzle doing time is spent staring at the pieces and trying not to pull his hair out while trying to find the right ones. He tries so hard to get the pieces to fit together, but his brain isn't wired for this sort of puzzle-solving. He likes the time spent with others, or says he does, but he really just drives the people around him crazy when he tries to help. Flora and Legend both have banned him from helping them with puzzles (Flora also greatly enjoys puzzles, her feet dance under the table when she works on them and she smiles a lot more while working on them).

Spy x Family Operation Diary - Character conversations

I'm back with another Operation Diary post! There's a ton of adorable and funny conversations between the characters throughout the game. I wanted to highlight some of my favorites and provide translations.

*Note: The game uses parentheses to show that a character is thinking the dialogue as opposed to speaking. For my translations, I'll be using parentheses and italics.

There aren't any major Twiyor scenes in the game, but this one's pretty cute - takes place when they decide to go on an outing at Penguin Park. It's a nice callback to the aquarium chapter/episode.

Loid: Penguin Park, huh?

Yor: (Come to think of it, Loid was also really engrossed by the penguins last time.) Um, Loid, it would be great if we could see the cute penguins!

Loid: Huh? Uhhh...yeah, sure...? (What...? Yor liked the penguins?)

Anya: (Papa and Mama are funny.)

The game actually has a few Yor and Fiona interaction, though they're mostly like this.....just Fiona having her usual unhinged thoughts, lol.

Yor: Being with Anya is so much fun. Raising her isn't difficult at all.

Anya: Agent Penguinman?

Loid: Our mission is to study, let's do it!

There were so many cute Yor & Anya interactions, a couple of which show how Yor will always protect Anya from danger ❤️

Anya: Papa...I heard that a normal papa would jump and fly around with his daughter at a time like this.

Loid: (Is it really necessary to put on the family act at a tourist location?) Ok, let's enjoy the resort!

Anya: Papa's so simple.

I mostly focused on the family interactions since those are my favorites, but there are a ton of cute/funny conversations between Anya, Becky, and Damian as well! There's also much longer special event cutscenes that play when Anya speaks to certain characters enough times (and triggers the unique illustrations I posted here). But those are several minutes long each, and my Switch can only save video clips up to 30 seconds. But if you plan to play the game when it releases internationally in a few months, you can look forward to seeing those for yourself 😃

Hi!! So after I posted part two of Ruben as a boyfriend I kept having more ideas and I ended up with this thing in my notes so I guess this is part three. I figured I would share it with you! I hope I am not boring you with this and not taking it too far lol 😂

Ruben Dias as a boyfriend- headcanon part 3:

- Okay we talked about him praising you. But I want to elaborate. I think he would totally be the type to give you praise even for the little stuff. Like let's say maybe you have a headache so the good boyfriend he is he brings you painkillers and a glass of water. And he watches you take the pill and then drink the water. And after you are done with it, he gives you a little "good girl" and takes the empty glass from you. Or maybe he is teaching you to play some sort of a game? So you are both sat on the couch, you are seated in between his legs, gamepads in your hands, him giving you instructions and "you are doing such a good job" from time to time.

-I saw this video on tiktok of a couple eating dinner with their friends. And the boyfriend is chatting with the friends while the girlfriend bends over because her fork fell on the ground. And the boyfriend puts his hand on the corner of the table to make sure she won't hurt herself, while still talking to the people they're with. And I think Ruben would totally be that kind of a boyfriend.

-Also I think being in a relationship with Ruben means you instantly become a passenger princess. When you two are going somewhere together he is the one driving, he opens the car door for you, he would totally be the type to grab your hand and give it a little kiss while driving or to put his hand on your thigh. If you guys are going on a longer road trip he would absolutely have snacks for you in the car, and maybe even a blanket if you wanted to take a little nap. (Maybe I just want to believe in this one because I hate driving lol, but also what is hotter than a hot man driving a car?)

- Yup but princess treatment is a must for him. When he's with you he's opening doors for you, always lets you go in front of him, pulls out your chair for you, takes you out on datesdates - all the cute stuff that give you butterflies.

- If you are a little bit shy or maybe have social anxiety (like me lol) then I am convinced everytime you guys are going out to eat he would be the type to order your food for you. Like the waitress comes up to you and asks you what she can get for you but you don't even get to open your mouth because Ruben is like "She will have... ". And I feel like you wouldn't even have to ask him to do it. I just think you two would be looking through the menu and he would be like " What do you want sweet girl?" and would get it for you and would never ever make you feel bad about not wanting to speak up yourself. He would just be so casual about it. And if you are allergic to something he would ask the waitress "there is no [whatever you are allergic to] in it, right? ".

- Imagine if you were going to his match and before you go, while you two are still at home you ask him if you get to keep his shirt after the game. He would be like "anything you want baby". And you know how they often trade their shirts with the players from the opposite team? When someone asks him to trade he would be like " Sorry mate, already promised it to my girl". And then maybe he meets you in the tunnel and pulls his shirt off while walking up to you and hands it to you saying something like "for the pretty lady".

- I am convinced that if anyone was ever being rude or disrespectful towards you he is ready to fight. Or if some guy is hitting on you and making you uncomfortable he would be like " Don't you see she already has someone to take care of her?" With an arm draped around your shoulder. Don't get me started about how angry he would get if that guy would try to put his hands on you. He would definitely teach that guy that he should never touch a woman like that without her permission.

-He would love to be the one to take the lead and be in charge but not in a bad way. I feel like he would have so much respect for you and would think you are perfectly capable and all of that. He just truly enjoys taking care of you and making you feel like you don't need to worry about anything with him because he will always be there for you, whatever you may need or want.

- If you two are travelling, going on a vacation or something he is taking care of everything. The only thing you have to do is literally show up and just be there. He knows the best places to eat at, all the sights you guys should go to and so on. And of course if there is something you would want to see he is taking you there, he is making sure to get the tickets if they are needed and stuff like that.

-When the two of you come home after going out somewhere he is getting on one knee, putting your leg up on his knee and taking your heels off for you (especially if you are wearing those strappy ones). And he would also unzip your dress for you. But the thing is - you don't have to ask him to do that, he just knows. Or if you are out somewhere and your shoelace unties he'll just tie it for you without a word.

-I am pretty sure he said in some interview that he doesn't really drink coffee but I am convinced that if you were going somewhere in the morning he is pulling up to starbies and getting you your favorite coffee. And he knows your order too.

-And he would be sooo good with your family. The first time he meets your mom he is definitely getting her flowers. He would be just so perfectly nice around them. And he would be so generous too, maybe he would get them to come to one of his matches with you. He wants them to feel included in your life.

- I feel like he would love to push you to your limits when you are having sex. Like maybe you are so overwhelmed because he is fucking you so hard and overstimulating you, so you tell him that it's too much for you. But he acts as if he hasn't even heard you. So you put your hands on his abs, trying to push him away a little bit and he just harshly pushes your hands off. And then he's telling you that he knows how much you can take and he is not stopping until he cums deep inside you. But I feel like that would be so true - he would never do that before getting to know you and your body well enough to know your limits. And he would for sure want you to have a safe word, because he never wants to actually hurt you.

- He would also be into edging you. He would bring you to the point of tears, make you so desprate you would be begging him to let you cum and at the end he always would, because he just wants to make his girl feel good.

- He would make you tell him how he is the best you have ever had and how no one has ever fucked you this good. And he would be telling you how now you have got a real man taking care of you and all those little boys you have had before couldn't even compare.

100% agree with not wanting buck to talk to temu about The Will! 📢📢📢

It would give temu and bommy relationship a significance and focus that is unearned and undeserved and I simply don't want him to have! Same reason i wouldn't want temu to get killed off, and i don't want them to break up over the issue of wanting/not wanting to have kids 🙄 i don't want bommy to be anywhere near having that kind of conversation

Ajfjgkdksk i swear, if they confirmed in canon that temu was trying to date eddie and just settled for buck 😂😂😂 i would never ask for anything more in life lol so unfortunately it's not going to happen. But OH it would be so satisfying!

As it seems they're not going to address temu's past, I'd be happy if they broke up for some really superficial shallow reason, which would just underscore how insignificant and tenuous the relationship actually is.

You're correct and I agree with your assessment because Buck and Temu talking about Eddie's will and it being a reason for them breaking up would give the "Bummy" relationship too much of everything. It would be like you said, both undeserved and unearned and IMO, T*mmy isn't a significant enough side character to be included in that intimate part of Eddie's and Buck's relationship.

Case and point, Eddie's NEVER told anyone on screen other than Buck that he added him to his will as Chris' legal guardian but he didn't tell either of his two on screen love interests. He never told Ana and he never told Marisol. Also, Buck never told Taylor or Natalia so why would he tell T-Rex? He shouldn't because he doesn't deserve to know. T*mmy's a plot device just like all the others which makes him that much more insignificant.

Furthermore, Buck hasn't told Maddie, his own sister and he hasn't told Bobby either. I know a lot of fanfic writers indulge and include Eddie telling Bobby in their fics for emergency purposes but that's not CANON, it's FANON. Do I suspect the 118 knows how important Chris is to Buck? YES! The shooting is evident of that since no one, not even Bobby questioned Buck being the one to tell Chris what happened even though Eddie was dating Ana at the time. But I don't think they know Buck's in Eddie's will and I don't think the Diaz parents know either. Isabel might know and I believe that's because Eddie's close to his abuela but I don't think anyone else does. Also, KR stating Chris knows about "the will" doesn't make narrative sense because if he did, he would have called Buck when he was upset with Eddie instead of his grandparents like he did in season 4. Actually, he ordered an Uber with Eddie's phone and ran away to Buck's loft and that was before Eddie was shot.

As far as the breakup of Buck and Tonsilitis is concerned, I WANT T*MMY TO ADMIT HE TRIED TO DATE EDDIE FIRST TOO! It's my villain origin story because it would highlight how ridiculous the writing was handled last season. I know it won't happen either but it would be so fantastic. I wrote a fanfic about it, it felt great and I also let Eddie tell Buck he deserved better than a dismissive asshat who doesn't listen to him and who only wants him for his body.

I'm sure the writers won't go there because they don't want to defame Tonka Toy's character but they sure didn't have a problem letting him be complicit when Gerrard's 100-year-old ass was saying racist and bigoted comments to Hen and Chimney.

At this point, I don't care how and why they break up, I just want T.K. 2.0 GONE ASAP and I don't want Buck getting advice from someone telling him to stick it out🙄. It's time for Buck to be single so he can figure out he was trying to get Eddie's attention this whole time and not T-Rex's. There's no more time for doubling down on the ridiculousness of these one dimensional and lackluster relationships for Buck or Eddie.

Actually, Yuu can make use of little trips outside of school (i.e. in events) in which Lilia does not show up to woo Silver ethically 😂 Glorious Masquerade? Dude, they're going to a school that has a magical resounding bell, isn't that their perfect wedding chime? And they both (ignoring virtually everyone else) have to fight a teenage arsonist? Legendary "how your fathers fall in love" story to tell the kids. They might even have danced together, you know, which totally makes it a Phillip and Aurora moment.

And Deuce's hometown? They're preparing a clock to wake Silver up for their domestic life, isn't this the loveliest idea of a honeymoon? And Silver's wearing bunny suit? Yuu could just pass out for how cute Silver looks. The first-years are rightfully concerned and Silver is blissfully unaware. What a perfect opportunity to get close to his Moonshine-

(At this rate Lilia might as well just tag along to stop Yuu. Being attacked mid-confession by a colony of bats is definitely not on Yuu's checklist 🦇🦇🦇)

To answer your question:

Yes! It's the emblem of the Jedi Order!

Most of the clones wear the normal emblem, but the Coruscant Guard wears the emblem of the Temple Guard—since both guards share a mutual dislike of the Blue Guard- (the natborn Corrie Guard, basically) -because of how the Blue Guard treats them. This leads to them working together, growing close, and becoming friends!

Whether it's the regular or the Temple Guard emblem, though, both symbols are painted on for the same reason.

In the middle of The Great War- (which, yes, i'm still working on, don't worry) -the clones have been exposed to some pretty harsh anti-Jedi sentiment. ...until they hear them refer to the Jedi as "a Republic resource" and talk about them like they served no purpose except to obey their whims.

This news spreads quickly throughout the GAR and boy are they pissed. Even more so, knowing that they can't really do anything about it.

So they decide to do the only thing they can, show the Jedi that they're not alone.

They paint the Order's emblem on one of their shoulder pauldrons each, always adding their own unique spin but also making certain that it's still clear what it is.

The Jedi are touched, and they return the favor.

They paint their vambraces- (the only armor any of them ever wear, much to everyone's mutual chagrin) - in their battalion's colors, showing that they aren't alone either.

…

Rex is the first to paint his shoulder pauldron in the 501st-with clean, precise, lines, in their signature blue.

He shows it to Ahsoka, and she almost cries.

He shows it to Anakin, and Anakin is...curious.

Rex says that all of his brothers are doing it, and Anakin asks why—genuinely curious, since they place so much value on their armor being unique.

Rex tells him that it's to show that they're loyal to the Jedi, not the Senate—because the Jedi have fought and died with them, while the Senate has never given a shit about them.

This is when Anakin stops being curious, and starts getting angry—because Padme and Palpatine are part of the Senate, and he views this as disrespectful to them.

He and Rex argue until Rex realizes that Anakin will always put his pride, put his attachments, over them—that he'd personally wipe out half the battalion if it meant Padme wouldn't get hurt, no matter that they were people too.

So Rex stops arguing.

He doesn't take off the paint, though.

But word passes through the battalion what Anakin thinks about all of this, and no one else wants to chance it.

So technically Anakin doesn't force them not to do it, but he definitely makes it clear what he thinks—and no one wants to piss off the guy with severe anger issues who's in charge of your every move in a dangerous situation.

disclaimer: can't promise that i'll have any insights that a layperson wouldn't have, this is kinda just me thinking through the grammar of the language out loud haha.

this post covers the fifth and last language in chants of sennaar and will contain spoilers for both the language and the endgame! it also assumes you know what the symbols mean already.

i.... to be completely honest with you, i did not enjoy this language 😂 i think the experience of deciphering it got lost in favor of the storyline, which isn't necessarily a bad thing for everyone, but hey, i am the one going through each of these languages like a linguistic bloodhound here lol. because of that, i'm not as familiar with these words as i am with the other languages.

before we get into anything else, and also because i imagine that this will be a shorter post because the game itself tells you what patterns to look for, i do want to say that this language strikes me as being incredibly artificial. which is a good thing! it emulates the digital apocalypse vibe that exile gives. but a language that leans so heavily into being constructed and recombined and modulated so easily really gives me the impression that it was created and not organically developed. the only other irl example that comes to mind at the moment is korean hangeul, which was purposefully created by king sejong and is an alphabet, not a logography. like, this is a language that i would make for fun in high school (which is to say, it gives a kind of overly grammatically strict, awkwardly too regular vibe?).

it's kind of funny that this language is where i'm starting to get reminded of conlangs, especially when, well, everything in this game is a conlang. but if we take each of the radicals in this language as affixes/morphemes when they're being combined into one character, then this actually reminds me of a specific conlang (ithkuil, i think?) where you can convey incredibly complex ideas through very few words.

the language of the anchorites isn't quite this complex, but hopefully the comparison gets my point across?

i’m curious if only certain elements can be combined with each other or if there’s a certain order to them, but it’s hard to tell when there’s such limited evidence in the game. interestingly, i believe the anchorites’ language is the only one in this game that makes a distinction between “die” and “death/dead” by combining the noun with the verb “go”. not sure why the developers suddenly made that decision haha.

this language, like most in the game, is an SVO language, which we can see below:

but i think also they (the developers) were trying to convey more complex sentence structures than their language was designed to communicate??? so then you end up w smth like below:

which, if you translated literally, would actually be “you man i wait”. again, super interesting bc i think an actual, more accurate anchorite sentence should be “i wait you man”. they have a more complex sentence here bc of the predicate (“you’re the one”) and the dative (“for”), but really the sense that they’re trying to go for is “i was awaiting the one [who is you]”. i guess it’s possible that different grammatical cases are treated differently in this language, or that, like english, word order is occasionally variable (even tho that option seems iffy bc we haven’t really seen evidence of it before), but tbh i suspect that really it’s that the developers wrote the dialogue and then brute forced it into the anchorite language haha. no shade! (and also impossible to confirm either way lol) just kinda amusing and also it makes sense when it’s p obvious their focus shifted from the language to the story.

this trend continues throughout all of the anchorite dialogue (imo) and makes it kinda slow and awkward to read if you don’t have all of the characters translated. in my opinion, the way that the language functions in the last part of this game makes it pretty clear that the developers meant for you to rely on the given translations during this potion of the game, especially when the translation mechanic is mostly through the matching terminals in exile, rather than speaking with people.

annoyingly, the anchorites’ language is also the only one in the game that doesn’t have words for the other people/cultures in the game (demonyms), which also doesn’t give much to work off of in terms of cultural context, relationships, etc.

again, i’ve decided not to get into an in-depth orthographic analysis of this particular language bc the game itself introduces you to them. one that i noticed that wasn’t specifically addressed in-game is the similarity between “open” and “key”, which is something that i actually also noted before in the devotees’ language. i’m sure there are others, but i’m also sure you can find them yourself!

all in all, a strange ending to this game. if you’ve made it this far in all of my posts—thanks for hanging around! hope you were able to learn smth new :)

Wrote 203 words on "15 Minutes" chapter 11! Yeah, I'm absolutely celebrating those 203 little words because they're 203 words I was beginning to be afraid were never going to show up. 😬🤗

I think I figured out a way where I can go ahead and pre-order the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster! This is also HUGE because I really, really want this thing but thought I couldn't try it because of my concerns about how Georgette will be able to handle the Denuvo Anti-Cheat. However, I realized I do have a way to test that without paying full price for the game: Dead Rising 4 (which I own already) still has Denuvo on it. So... I'm going to do a full backup for Georgette, pray super duper hard, then install and see if I can play DR4. Don't have to play the whole game or anything, of course, but I figure a couple of hours of play should give me all the info I need. If Georgette handles that okay, then I'd say that's the green light for DRDR! It has soooooo many awesome things in it, friends, and I've been dying on the inside at not being able to play it when it becomes available! (If Georgette returns to dying every 10 seconds, then I'll cry quite hard for a while but at least I'll know.)

I'm gonna write headcanon pasts for the One Piece admirals! They're just so damn interesting and I love their mobster/rebel/yakuza theme! Kinda reminds me of the games lol.

BEWARE OF ANGST!: MENTIONS OF CHILD ABUSE, VIOLENT CRIME, UNDERAGE DRINKING, AND SELF-HARM

So, I looked at the childhood images of Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru and made what I could make out of what I can see in the images. No kid photos of Fujitora and Greenbull yet, do I used canon events as refs.

Akainu (Sakazuki) 🐶:

He had a turbulent childhood in a crime-riddled place. His father was a crime boss who abused him for seeing Marines as his hero, because his dad knew more that the Marines and WG were corrupt and shit. After all, the dad was a criminal, while Akainu genuinely wanted to serve in the marines and stand for his "justice".

A Marine he idolized gave him the tattered cap shortly before he killed his father because that Marine brainwashed and gaslit him into believing in his twisted justice during his stay in that area while searching for pirates. Akainu saw the battle and was instantly INSPIRED. He would become like his hero and blow up his shithole hometown.

Akainu has seen crimes, vices, violence, and all sorts of moral decadence in his place, so it's not surprising his views on justice got fucked up. He learned street smarts and how to fight due to his environment. He met Aokiji after killing his dad (it's anime logic where the young kid can kill an adult with fighting experience) and both had a rocky, love-hate (yes, I used to ship these two) relationship while wandering and doing odd jobs before being taken in by the Marines.

Since both grew up in turbulent, violent environments, they had the physical and mental strength (and fuckedup-ness) to fight in the Marines, and it'd be a waste to just let them toil while doing household chores, right?

So, they were taken in and trained. All the time, even until they were admirals, Akainu and Aokiji were arguing, always. Their opposing views, personalities, and justices didn't help either. Sometimes, they'd even be petty, like, Aokiji just moves Akainu's bonsai vase a little and Akainu is in a real foul mood and then shit hits the fan. It's very hilarious to see, especially when they were kids, they always had to be disciplined because they were always fighting 😂.

Akainu always had to deal with Aokiji's apathy and laziness. Akainu was the kid always angry and serious, so he was a rather amazing student - always "upright" in the Marines' eyes. Aokiji was the lazy but smart one, as in, super lazy. During teamwork training, Aokiji was kind of a slacker at first and Akainu would fight him always. It kinda died down over time as they became adults, but Akainu is still pissed about it, as always 😂.

Soon, Akainu burned down his pirate and criminal infested hometown. Fuck the innocents and everything. There are criminals there and he will send them to hell. And he succeeded.

Akainu also had a rather romanticized view of the Marines as a child due to his circumstances. Anything about spreading justice, order, and punishing criminals, and he'll be pumped up. This is the shit for him, and he's quick to plan and act when it comes to these. Despite his angry, wild nature, ever since he was young, he was ever so PASSIONATE about being a ROUGH, STRONG Marine man. Hence, the rose of the fuckin' lady killer sheesh 🥵. Something here's burning hot and it's not just the lava!

Yah, yah, I just spent over half the year creating yakuza/boryokudan OCs and well, I guess the dashing underworld outlaw prince swept me off my feet 🤩🤩🤩...

Aokiji (Kuzan) 🐦: Aokiji had deadbeat parents who always let him get beat up. He lived in the same area as Akainu. Due to his family being deadbeat, he picked up vices and began to drink at an early age. He decided to wander away, doing odd jobs. Despite his apathy towards most of the world and anger towards criminals, helping people with chores kind of softened his heart. This has helped him develop a sense of compassion, unlike Akainu, who did these chores as a way to work towards being accepted by the Marines. Sometimes, Aokiji would be dog tired and sleep a lot in his free time.

Soon, he met Akainu and they accompanied each other. Being alone was boring, and besides, they were kids. They'd argue a lot, even while working, AND especially when sharing a sleeping space. Oh boy, they'd get violent when one starts pressing agains the other.

And that's the definition of true love according to what my shipper brain said

The Marines soon took them in and they began to train. Aokiji was rather apathetic to this at first, but then actually began to warm up a bit to his job. Sometimes, it was even entertaining, especially arguing with Akainu or simply bullshitting his fiery frienemy. But, as Aokiji became an adult, cracks began to show.

Aokiji began to see all the misery and corruption. The causes of poverty and crime, a lot caused by the WG. He saw innocent people hurt due to the WG. Soon, he fell back to his apathetic ways. But, despite being so jaded and weary, he still had that kind-hearted side for those with benevolent intentions, regardless of them being pirates or otherwise. Soon, he wanted to be free to do this and resign from the Marines. Deep down, he had a heart like the snow, cold, and yet beautiful.

Dagnabbit, I'm crying why the fuck do I do this to myself 😭😭😭?

Kizaru (Borsalino) 🙈: Kizaru's family was the type that placed all their hopes on him to achieve their broken dreams for them, so they encouraged him to learn and study. He was rather pressured sometimes, but he did truly enjoy his studies and reading. He'd happily skip to the library sometimes and told them his stories. A light to their world, if I must say. Aaaand the feels are back 🥲.

Kizaru then decided to join the Marines, a decision his parents supported, seeing he could finally give them an ego boost, like "HOLY SHIT MY SON IS A MARINE, NOW, CLAP, GUYS". Not really his dream or what he wanted, but he just went with the flow. He was an easygoing, cool, chill dude anyway.

Soon, he met Akainu and Aokiji in training. He ALWAYS had to be there to calm these two down if they started arguing. One mean look from Akainu to Aokiji or vice versa, "woah there, now stop my dudes" Kizaru was the pacifier between them. He was also the quiet, cool, but very smart kid who always was in the topnotchers. However, he was the type to suck up to the government's ideals and decisions of the majority of the top brass and whatever view a certain faction of theirs chooses as right. He was like a ship bobbing on the waves without someone to steer it.

Soon, he got to meet Vegapunk due to his knowledge on some certain machines thanks to his childhood of reading. He would keep a VERY CLOSE EYE ON THE SCIENTIST. That's what he was tasked to do. He had no problem with that anyway. Then, he met Sentomaru, Kuma, and Bonney, and maybe, just maybe, his nonchalant, neutral personality slipped away, having seen the innocence of a kid who viewed him as an uncle and the sweetness of a father and his daughter. He found himself having fun for the first time, but maybe, he just didn't know it. But the memory stuck.

To thisbday, Kizaru is still nonchalant as ever, but maybe, I hope, something might happen in Egghead arc now with him. Could be good development for someone so dull, yet so bright.

Dammit. Them 2D cartoon seamen making me cry.

Fujitora (Issho) 🐯: Oh God, this is a dark one. Fujitora was a very unfortunate lad. He had an, abusive, overpopulated family who hated him and beat him to near death. They saw he was durable when he fought back and decided to sell him to the Marines. It wasn't fair. But the world's not fair. Always, Fujitora saw poverty and very VILE bastards in his place. It was not surprising to him. But, his hell was just going to begin.

Fujitora had a strong moral compass (besides his gambling) and trained hard to spread justice in the Marines. But, as his rank got higher, the more horrible things he saw in the WG. Corruption, slavery, hatred, and all things unpleasant. Ugh, he wanted to leave. Why? Justice is for everyone, right? So, why can't he bring it to those above him, who abuse their power? That's right, it was the world being unfair.

All the shit he has witnessed made him sick to the stomach. Are these the people he was working with and working for? Yuck. He decided to resign last minute before a promotion.

But, before he left, Fujitora reflected on his life before being sold to the Marines and after being sold to the Marines. Just the same. It was just the same back there. It was just unfair, so unfair. Wherever he went, there were always bad people oppressing the lass fortunate like he once was. Fujitora was unable to take the gravity in that moment and cut his eyes. He decided to cancel his resignation and return to the Marines. That way, at least, he can rise up to a position where he can stand for fairness. But if any sign of humanity comes before him, Fujitora will be unable to see it clearly again, despite his kind heart. He may feel it, but never see it, so he can only partially feel it. A prize to pay for justice.

This one was sad. And when kindness did come to his heart genuinely in the form of Luffy, he couldn't see those kind eyes 😭.

Ryokugyu (Aramaki) 🐂: This dude seems to have sucked according to the fandom, but screw that.

So, since he's quite the simp for the WG, Aramakiwas bought as a baby by the Marines, so all he knew was the WG's ideals.

Though unruly and wild, he was valued because he was loyal, even when he did things outside anything approved, like not asking permission to deal with certain peeps. He was also very destructive as a child, so he needed lots of discipline, too. In fact, this wild boy has been chided more than anyone could count they stopped scolding him altogether 😂!

This is a post wherein I talk at great length about Anthony Rodzic, Felix's older brother! Requested by @accidental-spice 💚

This is gonna get long so....

Open-minded skeptic:

Anthony doesn't believe in magic. Not in the sense where he ignores the impossible things happening around him but rather staunchly believes there's a scientific explanation for anything "supernatural". If it looks like reality is breaking the laws of nature, that means there is more to the laws we don't know about, not that ✨magic✨ is changing things.

He's looking at the world and going "that person just grew a plant with their mind and shot laser beams out of their eyes. That is impossible, but it definitely happened. It's not because of magic, as my younger brother is insisting, but some secret law of nature that's overriding the usual order of reality and creating an anomaly." (aka, magic) So he's not entirely wrong... just, the laws they're missing are the ones everyone else are calling "magic".

Basically, he's a dude with absolutely no magical affinity trying to define the in-world magic system using the scientific method.

He continues to hold this stance even after time traveling/teleporting, meeting faeries, an alien who can hear people's thoughts, and an Ancient with enough magical energy to create a planet who says LOL YOU'RE SO CUTE

"No, no," he says to the eldritch being made of magic, "There's no such thing as magic, everything can be explained by science." -proceeds to have a several hours long q&a session with Ketsler about magic theory-

This guy literally takes a stroll through the faerie realm and starts making mental notes about how truly bizarre and otherworldly the ecosystem is while marveling that the atmosphere can sustain him at all. Meanwhile his guide just

This ties in with his current project- finding the cause and cure of the newly discovered disease that is gaining more and more prevalence and claiming many lives. It behaves like a type of cancer, but none of the cancer treatments have any effect on it. Working alongside some other more experienced scientists/doctors, they've identified the source of the disease has a connection with what seems to the be source of the super Talents.

Anthony gets involved in the whole Dauntless shenanigans after Felix gets sick with a really serious case of the previously mentioned disease that he somehow recovers from, and then immediately runs away from home. Anthony takes time off from work (his boss is a really chill guy, also a character 😏) and goes after his idiot little bro. Anthony is the only character in the story that sets out to find Dauntless and actually succeeds without Felix's consent 😂😂 He ends up joining the gang of orphans as the voice of reason and only person who can legally drive xD

He's also Felix's older brother!

He's about seven years older then Felix, so he definitely sees him as his baby brother lol They don't have a super close "best friends" kind of relationship, but they do both care for the other a good deal. Despite them actually being so similar, Anthony just doesn't understand the insane situations Felix keeps getting himself into. He runs away from home to be a vigilante??? Invites literal aliens to live in his house??? Apparently now he's involved in some interdimensional war against some eldritch being that can't die??? Not Anthony, he lives a quiet life. 😌

I always love the chaos that involves Jade's entertainment, especially with Yuu included. Also, will there ever be a day where Jade is flustered/embarrass by Yuu?

Same. It's always fun writing scenes where Jade has fun messing with others, especially if it entails him being extra friendly with Yuu since I love riling up the easily flustered guys lol 😂

That is a very good question. Sadly, up until this point, I haven't written flustered/embarrassed Jade cause the man is just not easy to fluster, so I can't have that kinda fun with him as easily as I do with guys like Deuce, Idia, and Sebek lol

For guys like the Tweels, I have to really work for it in order to get those kinda scenes cause they're not gonna let someone get the upperhand over them easily haha

While I haven't actually written it, I have thought of a scenario that results in Jade getting embarrassed, which takes place either before Book 3 or between Books 3 and 4. I'll put it underneath the cut.

The scenario involves the Tweels taking a page from the Hitachiin twins book and pretending to be each other one day at work in order to prank Yuu and mess with her.

Apparently, Floyd has a voice line where he perfectly impersonates Jade, so I really think those two could pretend to be each other and fool pretty much everyone sans Azul and Yuu.

Unfortunately for them, Yuu is the type who pays very close attention to people, and that's especially the case when the Tweels are concerned cause she considers them to be dangerous enough that they require even more of her attention than regular people.

As a result, Yuu has picked up on all the little ways that differentiate the two, so she can tell them apart without any trouble.

Of course, it also helps that the twins didn't bother doing anything about their eyes cause normally only Azul can tell them apart just based on the colors of their eyes since the only thing most people pay attention to in order to tell them apart are their dark hair strands, so they didn't stand a chance against Yuu lol

Naturally, Floyd and Jade don't immediately surrender once Yuu points this out since they still think they have a chance of fooling her and making her think she's just misremembering their eye colors.

This leads to Yuu cupping a surprised Jade's face after one moment when he brings his face close to hers since that's something people would expect Floyd to do rather than the always polite Jade.

After gently grabbing Jade's face, Yuu proceeds to reel off all his physical characteristics that differentiate him from Floyd, such as the slight differences between their ears, noses, etc.

She also points out that Jade's teeth are more needle-like than Floyd's teetch which are broader like shark teeth.

During this time, Yuu ends up casually complimenting Jade's attractive features as she's pointing them out since that kinda thing just comes naturally to her.

By the time she finally finishes explaining how Jade can't possibly be Floyd, Yuu moves his hair strand back to its rightful spot and gives him a warm smile. "Much better."

Within seconds after she does that, Floyd, who has given up on the charade by this point, promptly glomps her and starts whining about how it's so unfair that she's only flirting with Jade. "Flirt with me too, Shrimpy!"

Yuu has no idea what he's talking about and denies that she was flirting with Jade. She then turns to look at Jade to get him to back her up on this.

However, much to her surprise, when she returns her attention to Jade, she discovers that he has turned his back to her and is now hiding his face behind his hands.

Since Jade is noticeably trembling and doesn't respond when she worriedly calls out his name, Yuu asks Floyd what's going on with his brother.

Floyd only spares Jade a brief glance before revealing that Jade is fine. He's just embarrassed. Just give him a few minutes, and he'll be back to normal.

To say Yuu was dumbfounded by that turn of events would be a severe understatement lol 😂

The way we wouldn't have known that jimin had sleepover at jungkook's home a day before their jeju trip Started IF jungkook didn't ask why jimin's not eating. That shows how they do stuff together in private and those things just stay private because we wouldn't have guessed that jungkook who came to Seoul in the evening of a day before their jeju trip, so despite being tired he still cooked 4 plates ig?? Of food for jm and jm ate 3 of them. Now i get why jin would name jungkook as jimin's chef in 2019-20 when he made jimin's profile because the way even jimin was like "How much more will you make me eat or make me fat" jm said tells you how much jungkook is used to cooking for jm. They could have ordered food yet he made it at home. And this was jungkook running through the airport to get home 😂 idk why he was running like that because i haven't seen him do that before but maybe he had his own reasons

Point is we wouldn't have known if jimin wasn't giving "Context" as to why he wasn't eating and we all thought he wasn't eating because he got an upset stomach or because of his motion sickness or something.

And just because they both usually don't post their hangouts many take that as them never meeting and seeing each other. Quite honestly they both are at least at this point are home buddies who enjoy their time staying home talking endlessly than go outside and do stuff. Not like they don't enjoy going outside and doing activities they do and need it from time to time(as they did some activities in AYS but it was still mostly them eating and talking) but their dynamics is more about staying in each other's presence and just talking and doing stuff at home. They don't always need activities to hangout together they can simply stay over at each other's home and that's just them. In 2021 jimin, jungkook and one of jimin's friends were seen at a restaurant having a meal and it was actually white day (14th March and it's like a sequel of valentine's day in Korea and couples celebrate this day together, not saying jkk were doing that could be a coincidence because jm usually doesn't give much importance to these days idk about jk tho). When in BTS's doc jk came over at jm's home and cooked food it was their last day of concert at Seoul (as per the date on jm's fridge so it was 13/3/2022 smtg) and jikook were seen on 14/3/2022 and jk was even wearing jm's custom made hat so pretty much jungkook had a sleepover at jm's home but of course they never mentioned it. Given jungkook was even wearing jm's custom made hat I'm assuming he stayed over at jimin's as he was at jm's home late at night after the concert so probably best to stay and then they were out again on 14/03/2022.

I remember how in that vmk live when jimin said jungkook goes to jimin's room 3 times a day, he stays there for even 4 hrs on some time. Jungkook said he goes to jm because he gets bored and jm's room is close (as if other members were living in another building 😂). And since jungkook said he goes there because he gets bored you'd expect him to do stuff with members to get rid of the boredom but jimin revealed that jungkook doesn't do anything when he comes to jimin's room. He stays in jimin's bed for hrs and then leaves. Jungkook even goes to jimin's room at 2AM at odd times. You'd expect him to go to different different members so he could do some fun activities but nope staying in jimin's room doing nothing itself is pleasant to him that he doesn't need much other entertainment(most of the time of course).

But losers on the internet will tell you they don't post so they don't meet and if jikook does mention then they're lying for fanservice lol.

Given just how many inside jokes and references to memes that were made throughout AYS, I think it's pretty clear that (even without the knowledge from Jimin that he stayed the night at Jungkook's house) they spend A LOT of time together. And honestly, the fact that Jimin and JK don't ever feel the need to post on social media whenever they are spending time together, makes their relationship/friendship/whatever-you-want-to-call-it-ship feel even more real and authentic to me. They don't need the validation from strangers and fans on the internet. And I love that Jimin and Jungkook both feel comfortable enough to drop info when they feel like it.

Hi Lemon! I know you’re enjoying your BG3 right now so no rush, but I’ve been thinking of some F+B lore combined with GRRM’s infamous post about the show, and I’m a bit confused. He claims that the show could replace Maelor with Jaehaera in his death scene in order to give Helaena the grief she needs to meet her suicide, but that wouldn’t work because “Jaehaera has a huge role to play as Aegon's next heir.” It was my understanding that she was never named Aegon’s heir, and was in fact considered “simple” (likely Westeros’ version of mentally challenged) as a way to avoid having Aegon name her in the first place. But this seems not the case? Did I misunderstand, or is this more him tearing into the show and maybe fudging some details?

My other issue (I don’t blame him for being mad of course, did we not all have problems with HOTD S2 lololol) is he’s also fixated on Maelor as the reason for Helaena’s death in the first place, yet we’re given a few suggestions for her suicide, and the maesters even question why she would kill herself now when Daeron is seemingly very close to recovering KL for the Greens. I assumed it was a combination of many things; she has been mad with grief since Jaehaerys’ death, her daughter is long gone, her husband gravely injured and also unknown to her, and she is a prisoner in her castle. Finding out about Maelor’s death would likely have been the final straw, but again, it’s not presented as the sole reasoning here? Idk maybe that is just me nitpicking! I’m glad he laid into the show, but having spent a while discussing F+B with friends, it’s always funny to me when he comes out with “actually this was what happened.” Okay, you didn’t write it that way 😂

So, I definitely think that GRRM went on and on about Maelor in his post because that was the tamest aspect he could criticise without burning bridges with the show executives. And perhaps that is why it comes out like Maelor is more important than he truly is in the books. That post was more of a strategy push than anything, he wanted to publicly show he was REALLY upset and that he was ready to air his concerns publicly if they don't stop compromising the integrity of the story.

So, in that regard, the heart of the issue is that, in the show, they've basically eliminated any reason for Helaena's suicide. She was sad all of 10 minutes about Jaehaerys, is over it already in the S2 finale, doesn't give a shit about her brother's impending doom, doesn't give a shit about her brother-husband's condition. What is there to be sad about? Despairing enough so that she'd fling herself out of the window? Unless they'll make Rhaenyra herself push her (they won't) or it's going to be framed as another fucking accident, there's no way to explain her death. So it's easy and safe for him to keep on about Maelor, since this is a problem anyone can understand, no matter which side of the team wars they're on.

Coming back to Jaehaera, I've always maintained that there is no reason to give her a learning disability unless GRRM never meant for her to be considered as a proper inheritor in the first place. Even if Aegon II had been the world's most feminist dad, he couldn't have passed the throne to her, because she wouldn't have had the capacity for rule. So, if GRRM intended for Aegon to truly grapple with this issue of wanting his line to continue but only having a daughter and how to present this as a solution when he just deposed another woman, then he wouldn't have made Jaehaera "simple" and disqualified her from the start.

So, maybe he realised that and regrets it? Maybe FB was a way bigger volume with many more details that explained all this but they had to be cut for length? And Jaehaera's situation was one of those sections that got the axe?

If GRRM is reading my blog and needs reasons to justify himself rhetorically (LOL), I can provide one for free: IMO, if you remove her being condition and deem it untrue gossip (let's say), Jaehaera being named Aegon's heir was never an issue, because it respects Andal Law. It doesn't even make the greens hypocritical or scheming villains for deposing Rhaenyra. As per Andal Law, Aegon is the elder son of Viserys II, so he should inherit, and Jaehaera is his only living child, so she should inherit after him. A son comes before a daughter and a daughter comes before an uncle (or a nephew). Easy!

This is true enough. :)) I think that, for all this talk of how interesting it is to write backstory like a history book and present various possible versions (which it is!), a writer MUST surely "know" deep within his heart of hearts which of those he intended to be true and which not. Come on. :)) At least for SOME things.

Are you a photo card collector?

From ur last reply of "ask them they'll get a new photo card and they'll buy anything" i remembered how stray kids fans brought soo much of those albums because they got some versions of photo cards and what not like those albums sales were ONLY because they were getting photo cards. They even had"Unit" photo cards so it means even shippers will be happy and will buy it lol.

Not to mean to shame the ppl who collect the photo cards but at the same time i don't understand the obsession with them? Like what difference do they even make? Are you not happy with having a few of them in order to get every single one of the photo cards out there you'll buy anything?

If i get a photo card I'll probably put it somewhere and it'll never see the light of the day again because I'm going to forget about its existence because seeing their faces on my phone and on photo cards ain't any different to me. Like I'll feel the same way.

The only obsession i think i have is i can't go long without seeing jimin's face. Like if i don't see his face for a few days (I'm talking about not seeing his face at all like on the phone as well) i start feeling like I'm craving Lmaoo. Like at the moment i feel like i should watch his videos cause then i start missing him. But i think if i try enough I'll survive however many days 😂 I'll just have to stop myself from searching his name or opening all these apps which will show me his face first thing when i open it.

No, I'm not a collector, but I did buy some small photo albums to gather all the photocards in just one place, but I'm not crazy over it. I don't do the entire process of adding them to 2-3 sleeves and what not. It's just laminated paper, come on. And the BH ones are in low quality anyway.

I don't understand the crazyness surrounding it and I'm definitely judging and condemning the labels who use this as a way to inflate their sales. Buying in mass and then throwing away the albums just to get photocards is insane.
