Wish Bubble : T!Danny
The further they went into the Wish Bubble the more uneasy they got. The town was normal. It seemed to be the afternoon. there were people they didn't recognize on the walk up to where they assumed Talia was stuck in the mind control of the bubble.
it wasn't what they expected for her Wish Bubble. It was a very tall building with large blinking signs with words they couldn't make out on the top. They walked up to the door and knocked.
Taila opened the door and she was not at all dressed how she usually was. instead of her hair undone it was in a thick bun on the top of her head. instead of a full black bodysuit she was wearing jeans and an oversized icy blue sweater. Instead of her lazarus green her eyes were the same color of blue as her sweater. instead of superiority on her face it was Joy.
“ there you are I was scared you're going to be late to the party” she stepped out of the way of the door motioning for both of them to come in “ Dami sweetheart, go get the presents from upstairs they're in my room”
Damian stalled for a moment confused on whether he should go before deciding it was probably the best to listen to her orders for now. as Damien went up the stairs Talia turned to the door and closed it.
”is the work emergency over” Talia said as she turned around back to him and grabbing his hand “my sister and the twins are going to be here any second and they were really looking forward to hang out with you on their birthday”
Bruce paused, confused on what to say. This was her wish bubble; they were in a large obvious family home. even in the doorway there were photos up on the wall. Most of them contained Talia and Bruce as well as three children that were the perfect mix of both of them. There were even a few of his other children like a photo of what seems to be Jason's high school graduation and Dick moving into college.
“hellooo” Talia said as she waved her hand in front of his face “ you tired?” Concern was written onto her face.
“yeah just a little tired” Bruce said back at her.

What do you think about Jason and Tim relationship? I know that fans are split between hatred for each other or the best brothers. But what do you think?
i fully believe that the writers dropped the ball on what to do with them.
i disagree with what they did with Jason coming back- they didn't have any direction for his character besides that they wanted a huge dramatic twist and Jason has stagnated because of it. him coming back as pretty much nothing like himself but then having zero good writing to convince me of his tragedy?? it's why a lot of people just ignore canon. if they were gonna bring him back, they should have gone in another direction.
if i HAD to keep jason as an anti hero, i would have written him to have a compulsion to protect Robin. a deep rooted fear where he projects his own time, experience, and feelings as Robin onto Tim (and even Stephanie!!) because of the damage that was done to him mentally. jason had long lasting brain damage. he was in a coma for months after he was suddenly revived, he was catatonic when Talia was taking care of him. the Lazarus pit might have healed that, but there would still be residual affects. Jason would feel younger than he is, he'd feel like a stranger in his own body. add on to that with severe cpstd, and you have a recipe for a kid (he was what, 18? 19? physically? when he got to Gotham?) who has a warped perception of his life and relationships. he would have memories that were forgotten to him, not just in his recovery stage but in the time before he died. he would have the feelings of a kid who wanted his dad to save him, who was angry at his mom for hurting him, who now has to struggle with why he ever came back at all. i'm sure he would be angry at everyone. he'd be confused and hurt and he wouldn't have a means to understanding his own feelings. but at his heart, jason was always a good kid, and he protected people, especially people who couldn't protect themselves
it makes no sense that jason came back wanting to hurt robin
so yeah, i'd have written him to be angry and volatile like a teen lashing out at a safe parent to be angry with, but when Tim or Steph were there, he'd dial it back immediately. at first it would be about not wanting to scare them, wanting to keep them safe as a way to help the kid that did die in that costume, somehow and someway. but eventually it would be about Jason seeing them, seeing how capable they are, and feeling protective over them, not just Robin.
but that isn't what happened, because the writers couldn't care less about how trauma actually effects people. they had him attack tim and become basically a sociopath and it felt like a cheap "gotcha!" twist that no one asked for
that being said, their canon relationship isn't terrible. in the beginning they didn't get along at all, obviously. but now, they have a respect for each other. they act like siblings. Tim has said multiple times that he doesn't hate Jason nor holds a grudge. Jason said that he should, but Tim didn't care. sometimes when I read them, I think about how well they might have gotten along if Jason never died. because let's be real, Tim was always headed for the Batfam with or without Jason's death. that's why fics where he's adopted earlier and Jason doesn't die are pretty popular. though in my opinion, they often overshadow that Dick and Tim are also brothers
i think they have a complicated history and relationship but they are siblings. they aren't texting each other everything (Dick and Tim, i fear) or having emotional conversations more than once every seven months but they'll play video games with each other, drop by unannounced to the other's house to eat their food and complain about something, and they work together well. they have a lot in common and they're both previously only children who became second children and eventually middle children. they both experienced neglect though it was very different versions.
in one universe where Tim had died, Jason mourned him. i think that says a lot about how they care about each other
if only the writers would let it STAY that way and not have Jason regress over and over just because they're terrified of character development
#jason todd#jason todd red hood#tim drake#tim drake robin#conclusion: they're brothers#thank you for the ask!#jason deserved better#he never should have died in the first place#it was shitty of them to leave that to a vote that could easily have been rigged#and it WAS#that one mf who called so many times to kill him off COUNT YOUR DAYS#we are ENEMIES

It really gets me so mad that in Batman: The Animated series when all Joker Junior happens they let Tim go. Just like that. WTF???
That's your boy Bruce, the one you drive in your limo, the one that gets an allowance, the one that impersonates you so good because he's your son. And the minute he goes through the worst experience of his life you just let him go.
Like, I get my boy Tim, him been there just reminds him of his trauma, and if being away helps him, then go away, no one's gonna judge you.
BUT 40 YEARS OF SILENCE
Like. Man. Wtf.
And I get the series has other problems (Bruce and Babs together- yuck )
But Tim, hurt Tim forced to go through it alone.
It hurts me so much, it haunts me.
Fuck. I need to watch that series. I was a wee bit scared cause I thought, at first, that Tim got stuck as Joker. I couldn't handle that, tbh. I heard he doesn't, though, so I'm down to try.
However, that's so fucking tragic. Just Tim handling that trauma alone when Bruce is aware of it. I've seen some cool AUs where Bruce and the others aren't aware, but somehow it's worse where Bruce just ignored Tim (or that it happened to him).
40 is fucking bonkers though.
I kind of want an AU where Tim reaches the 10 year anniversary of the JJ incident. The only person who knows is Bruce (maybe Alfred if you want to make him guilty/bad). The age Tim is can vary (from like 19-24), but it'd be hella cool to see the fallout of everyone else learning that Bruce has been a dick to Tim for that. This would be cool if Tim was RR at this point.
Counter AU:
JJ happens when Tim is Robin, and Bruce fires Tim "for his own safety" or whatever. No one else, not even Barbara, knows about this incident. All they know is that there *was* a third Robin, but now there's not.
Other people rein Bruce in until Damian comes along. Maybe Cass helps or something (for plot purposes, Steph isn't Robin. She does get vigilante-adopted by Oracle, though, and joins the Birds of Prey).
Either way, Tim is no longer Robin and basically ignored by Bruce due to Bruce's guilt/fear (not an excuse. Bruce is a huge colossal asshole for that. This is just his reasoning).
The only people who know who the third Robin was are Bruce, Babs, Dick, Alfred, Leslie, Jason, and Talia (technically Ra's too). No one but Jason and Talia know that Jason knows who the third Robin was.
Bruce, once again, is the only one who knows about JJ and why Tim stopped being Robin (maybe Alfred too, but fun drama if Alfred finds out what Bruce did to Tim).
Anyways, Jason never attacks Tim because Tim wasn't Robin by that point. Damian doesn't either. They don't have favorable opinions of Tim, but he's not really important to them in the grand scheme of things.
Dick and Babs initially kept in contact with Tim, but they slowly stopped checking up with him due to the shitshow of their lives (like Jason coming back).
Tim moves out of Gotham for a few years. He was never adopted at this point and keeps up the fake uncle thing. He's pissed at Bruce for firing him (that man can not tell Tim to stop being a vigilante. That's so fucking hypocritical and that man isn't Tim's father), but he can't do anything about it. Bruce can't stop him from being a vigilante if he isn't in Gotham, though [Tim also gets the opportunity to heal while he's not in the same shadow of Gotham].
While Tim isn't Robin, he does maintain some communication with YJ. It's more distant, but they still go on missions together (as long as word won't get back to Batman). Tim is also more of a traveling vigilante who steals money from Lex or other billionaires to fund Tim's night job (he, begrudgingly, doesn't attempt to steal from Bruce. Babs would catch him). Tim also pockets some of the cash from crimes (particularly if the cops are corrupt and the money wouldn't go towards good causes regardless). Maybe Tim remotely manages DI as well, maybe not.
Anyways, years later, the batfam is slowly starting to heal. Jason is starting to forgive Bruce. The old man is putting in the effort to heal their relationship. Damian is healing and bonding with all of the family members in his own way. Dick has a much better relationship with Bruce, and Steph feels accepted by them.
Then Bruce "dies."
Tim stumbles upon proof of Bruce through his travels. He doesn't trust the Bats (especially after at least a year of no contact with them), so he tries to tell them about his proof as a not well-known vigilante. Red Hood has worked with him when The Outlaws crossed paths with him, but they aren't at the stage where RH trusts him. Tim doesn't trust RH due to a conversation or two about the man's hatred of the third Robin.
The Bats, drowning in their grief, push Tim away and deny him.
It stings, but Tim convinces himself to just shrug. What would he expect from the Bats anyways?
Tim goes through the effort of bringing Bruce back by himself. He then tries to dip immediately afterwards. He wants nothing to do with the Bats.
The Bats become curious about why a vigilante who seems to dislike would risk and sacrifice so much to bring back Bruce. They, like the nosy shits they are, try to investigate, charm, and stalk Tim.
Tim wants nothing to do with those fuckers. He wants to be left alone, fucking hell.
This dissolves into Tim trying to stay the fuck away from the Waynes as they chase him. He also can't help the fact that he cares about them, even if they piss him off.
More secrets unravel. Tim, wanting them to just go the fuck away, admits he knew the third Robin and that's why he doesn't like them.
Tim has changed a ton (personality and looks [he's taller and changes his appearance with makeup/wings]) so they don't immediately think of him as the third Robin. Tim also maintains a spotless civilian cover.
This cues the other Bats starting to question each other and Bruce what the fuck happened to the third Robin to make someone else hold a grudge against them.
I got so distracted. Oh well. Imma have to watch that series to feel the pain you're chatting about ^^ I wanna immerse myself in it, lmao

Chapter Five: Battleship
Alfred served lunch while Martha and Thomas discussed what happened. Bruce sat quietly, still feeling like he might be in trouble. “You’re still not telling me when Bruce can return to school, though, Martha. You’re scaring me,” Thomas uncomfortably chuckled as he glanced at Bruce. “Thank you for lunch, Alfred. Would you like to join us today?”
“I feel as though it might be inappropriate at the moment, Master Thomas,” Alfred replied.
“Oh, come now, Alfred. You’re part of the family. Sit, please,” Martha whispered as she grabbed his hand. Thomas nodded with a serious grin on his face.
Alfred sat down without another word. “Now, Martha, what’s happened?” Thomas asked once more.
“Bruce isnt technically in any kind of trouble for what happened today… However, he isn’t allowed to return to the campus until he’s completed a psychological evaluation to ensure a smooth return to his usual schedule. The other children will be severely punished for their act of cruelty,” Martha explained, “Here’s the card they gave me, Thomas. Are you acquainted with this doctor?”
Thomas looked at the card. “I know Isaiah in passing. He’s probably one of the best child psychiatrists in Gotham. He’s a card... Bruce, he’s a lovely person. Dr. Paterson is an innovator. He comes highly recommended for his unorthodox style of treatment. I think the kids call it fun, ” Thomas joked. Bruce made a soft noise, but he was too scared to laugh.
“Does the school think that something’s wrong with me?” Bruce asked.
“No. Of course not,” Martha replied, “This is normal procedure to make sure you can adjust after what you went through. The school doesn’t want you to experience any undue stress by rushing you back into class. It’s all for your emotional benefit.”
Bruce nodded. “We’ll call Isaiah after lunch. Don’t be frightened. I love therapy. It’s like being on a talk show,” Thomas whispered. Martha knit her brows together and whispered something to Alfred, and he snorted. Martha was the only one who could make him laugh.
Bruce liked how tenderly Alfred and his parents were with each other. They weren’t like other people with their butlers. Alfred wasn’t invisible to them. He was a part of the family in every aspect. Still, it confused Bruce a little to see how close they were. Sometimes, he’d notice Thomas lingering in the hallway with a hand on Alfred’s back or Martha tickling under Alfred’s chin when she asked him for something. Bruce always assumed that they were just close. He knew that Alfred knew his Thomas before they’d even met Martha, but they seemed much sweeter than longtime friends. And Alfred’s constant presence made him seem like another parent. Bruce loved Alfred, and he knew Alfred loved him, too.
“ You see this, Bruce? Your mom and good old Alfred teaming up on me? Your poor old man, ” Thomas teased as he snuck a few apple slices from Martha’s plate. Bruce giggled, and Thomas held a finger to his lips.
**
Three days later, on a Friday morning, Thomas took Bruce to see Dr. Isaiah Paterson. Isaiah was a tall man with a thick head of red coily hair, thin frameless glasses, and layers of baggy clothes despite the summer’s heat outdoors. He leaned forward, smiling with perfect teeth and freckles painted across his hooked nose as he reached forward to shake Bruce’s hand. “Don’t tell me… You’re Thomas Wayne, right?” Isaiah teased. Bruce blinked hard and shook his hand. “A joke. I know you’re Bruce. Sorry, I’m a bit of a jokester. You can call me Isaiah. How goes it, Tom?”
“It goes,” Thomas chuckled, “Thank you for fitting us in, Isaiah. I’ve been a fan of your work for some time now. How are you?”
“I’m great. Don’t worry about anything, Tom. I’ve got him,” Isaiah reassured him.
“Thank you, Isaiah… Bruce, I’ll be right here if you need me,” Thomas whispered. Bruce waved at Thomas as he followed Isaiah into the office through the French doors. It felt like an entirely different house. The French doors led to an open space set up like a playroom in the house, leading off in two different directions. Straight ahead of the door was a greenhouse, and to his left, another door led to a hallway.
“I know it can be scary to open up to someone you don’t know, but I can assure you that this is a safe space,” Isaiah reassured them both. “Well, Bruce, my sessions are a little bit longer than the typical sixty minutes because I like to start out with a game. We can go out back and play a sport, or we can stay inside and play one of the games here. I’d like you to pick. As long as we’re playing, I’d like for you to ask me anything that you want to know about me.”
Bruce looked at Isaiah, studying him with soft eyes as he examined the iron-on patches and other accessories before turning away to pick a game. “Can we play this one?” Bruce asked.
“Sure. Battleship is a pretty cool choice. Let’s set up,” Isaiah smiled as they sat on the large green rug in the center of the floor. Isaiah opened the box, and they quietly set up. “Anything you want to ask me?”
Bruce nodded without looking up. “How long have you been married?” Bruce questioned.
“Ten years this October,” Isaiah answered.
“Is she okay?” Bruce asked in reply. Isaiah cocked his head before chuckling.
“You got all that from looking at me? You’re very observant… And my wife is fine. She’s Deaf. I fell in love with her the moment I met her. She saved my life once, and I was so madly in love with her that I learned American Sign Language just so I could ask her out… And before you ask, we’re both members of Greenpeace,” Isaiah replied, “How long have your parents been married?”
“Twelve years,” Bruce answered.
Isaiah nodded. “How’re they doing? I know that they’ve had a tough summer,” Isaiah noted.
Bruce frowned. “Mom and Dad don’t fight. Sometimes they both look sad, but they smile for each other a lot still,” Bruce answered.
“That’s good,” Isaiah whispered. Bruce looked up from the board and his forehead wrinkled with narrowed eyes as he waited for Isaiah to say something else. “What’s wrong?”
“Aren’t you going to ask me about what happened at school?” Bruce asked. Isaiah finished putting his pieces on the board, and he sat back with his hands on his knees.
“Is it important?” Isaiah asked.
“That's why I’m here,” Bruce answered. Isaiah cocked his head, feigning confusion. “Do you not know what happened?”
“No,” Isaiah replied. That was the truth. His knowledge of the incident was vague. All he knew was that there was violence involved.
Bruce put his last few pieces on the board, and he mirrored “I was crying… They should’ve stopped,” Bruce muttered.
“Who were they? And what did they do?” Isaiah asked. His voice was soft as he set up his hands to play Rock, Paper, Scissors . Bruce called scissors and Isaiah did paper.
“They chased me with confetti poppers because they’re loud like guns… But it was the smell that scared me. I was crying. They should’ve stopped… I ran until they cornered me, and I had to fight them. They weren’t going to stop,” Bruce’s voice trembled as he started to speak louder. And then he stopped… Pausing to contain himself.
“Bruce, I’m sorry that happened to you. That must have been very upsetting,” Isaiah replied. His voice was so emotional, but he was so reserved. Much more reserved than he’d been a few minutes ago. “Did you feel like you were in danger at that time?” Bruce tried to breathe to keep from getting emotional but the tears started flowing as he nodded.
“A-6?” Bruce questioned as he cried.
Isaiah made a soft noise of bewilderment as he answered, “Hit.”

I'm rewriting Jason's resurrection and reconciliation with the fam for my own sanity:
Jason dies tragically and horrifically at age 15
A year later, Superboy Prime punches through universes, collapsing two realities onto each other: one where Jason dies, the other in which he survives. Jason comes back to life but is semi-conscious. Talia finds him and takes him to the League
Jason regains full consciousness after a dip in the Lazarus. For two years, Jason trains and slowly regains his memories. Once he's 18, he decides to return to Gotham, despite Talia's wishes
Quickly becomes clear that Gotham hasn't changed much, which disappoints Jason. He decides to put his League training to use and control crime as a harm reduction tactic, and he goes back and forth on contacting Bruce, especially after he hears rumors of a new Robin
Joker pops up with a new scheme, and this is the last straw. Jason concocts a plan to kidnap and finally kill Joker and confront Batman about all the ways he's failed him and Gotham. When Batman refuses to kill Joker, Jason feints like he's going to kill Tim to "save him the trouble" since Batman clearly cares so little for his sidekicks. ("Hey, kid, at least I'll make it painless.") This gets a reaction from Batman, who incapacitates Jason and rescues Robin. Jason retreats to lick his wounds and reconsider everything
Jason takes time to ruminate on all of this. He's still hurt that his death meant nothing in the grand scheme of things but thinks about Batman's reaction to Tim being in danger and has to wonder if that's how he acted when Jason was in that warehouse
Out of morbid curiosity and a little bit of fanboyishness, Tim monitors Jason. Jason knows this and eventually confronts him. He feels bad for scaring Tim but has to maintain his edge so he tries not to be too scary. At some point, Tim speaks his mind and tells Jason that he has no idea what things were like while he was dead. "Batman was a mess, he almost killed people. That's why I became Robin. I had to put him back together, so you don't get to act like you know everything that happened the past 3 years because you been back a couple months." Jason takes this in. They part ways. (Jason: "Don't die." Tim: "Don't change.")
The Chemo incident happens. Jason rushes to Blüdhaven to make sure Dick is alive and okay, thus revealing he's alive to the Titans. After the dust settles, he and Dick talk privately so that Dick can react properly. (Dick: "No, Batman didn't tell me." Jason: "Yeah, he has a habit of doing that.")
Jason gets to ask if Tim's claim of Batman being a mess is founded. It is. He asks Dick if it's worth doing things the same way. "It is." That doesn't help.
Eventually Jason and Bruce have their equivalent of a heart to heart. Basically they both go, "I love you even if I think you're wrong."
Jason forms the Outlaws, but the moment he gets the distress call from the fam, he comes rushing back to help. He's offended that Bruce is surprised (Tim is hopeful, Dick isn't remotely shocked)
When Dick "dies," Jay comes back to take his place as Eldest Son. He sticks around through the end of the Robin War
Other important events that definitely happen but just don't fit neatly into a timeline:
Barbara and Jason team up on a mission shortly after Bruce tells Barbara that Jason is back. She's happy and immediately falls into big sister/mother hen mode and chides him for not seeing her sooner and makes him promise to stop by the clocktower regardless of whatever is happening between him and Bruce. She promises to help him upgrade his tech if he does. (Barbara has always been more lenient with killers and believes wholly in second chances.)
Cass stops Jason from killing someone who "deserves it," resulting in them fighting. Cass is better trained but she refuses to kill Jason, who won't stop. Eventually, they call a ceasefire and talk a bit. "All life has meaning," Cass says. Jason scoffs. "Even the Joker's?" "All life," she insists. Jason quietly disagrees but he respects Cass's determination. This starts a back and forth of him testing her anytime they're grouped together. ("Even this lowlife, Cass?" or "She's worth your own life?" or "They wouldn't spare you, why bother?") Each and every time she sticks to her principles.
Jay and Steph grab food together after a patrol one night and bond over being the family outcasts (i.e. the ones Bruce doesn't implicitly trust). Jason vows to make Steph his Robin if he ever becomes Batman. She laughs but is secretly touched
***I can never decide what to do with Damian. On the one hand, it's hilarious if Jason knows about him and keeps quiet about it. On the other, I don't see why Jason wouldn't tell Bruce about Damian's existence. Maybe once he's on speaking terms with Bruce again, he does tell him about Damian, which then prompts Jason to encourage Talia to let Damian meet Bruce. This is accelerated by Talia discovering Ra's' plan for Damian and wanting to get Damian away from the League

Hi not sure this is the right place for requests so feel free to ignore it. My idea was Omega Jason about to go into heat in near future talking to Danny about boundaries and what he is and isn't okay with. Trusting Danny not to hurt him when he's vulnerable. Could be nice and fluffy with a hint of past sa/Jason's experiences on the street/maybe the whole Talia thing I personaly really hate, for just a smidgen of angst. But you can obviously do anything you like with it.
Hope you have fun writing again soon. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
OOh that sounds fun! And the DPxDC Omegaverse event just happened so perfect timing :3
Also, this one got a bit away from me. It's not quite talking about his boundaries with Danny but more so Jason thinking about how Danny has always respected his boundaries and why Jason trusts him enough to allow him into his nest for his heat.
I hope you enjoy it nonetheless!!
....
Jason was nervous. This was his first ever heat since he started courting Danny and he was hoping to have his boyfriend heat share with him. It was a big step in their relationship and part of Jason worried that it was too soon to ask something like that of Danny. Especially since Danny was a beta and didn’t get the same instincts that an alpha or an omega did when an omega went into heat. Sure, betas still had some instinct to cuddle and protect an omega but it wasn’t quite the same.
Omegas in heat were at their most vulnerable and Jason had been hurt plenty of times before. On the streets as an omega pup, Jason had learned to keep his scent glands hidden at all times, made sure to take any illegal suppressant that he could just to make sure no one tried to get one over on him.
When he was living with Bruce, he had finally felt safe. With an alpha father and an omega brother, Jason felt safer than he had ever felt in his life and Dick and Bruce had done everything they could to have a sense of security the entire time.
Then Jason had died. And he had come back only to be thrust into the world of the League of Assassins where it was dangerous to be an omega. The majority of the League were betas, Ra’s himself even saying that betas were far superior due to the fact that they were not influenced by or slaves to their instincts the same way that omegas and alphas were. It had made his time with them hard, forced to take supplements and forced to ignore the instinct inside of him that seemed to constantly scream at the former vigilante.
The years with the League of Assassins had not been kind to the omega and he had been left with a sense of loneliness and feeling completely unwanted in a way he hadn’t felt since he was on the streets as a child.
Years later at just twenty-two, though, Jason had found someone who loved him and his omega. Danny had grown up in a family of betas, both of his friends being betas and not really being close to alphas or omegas his entire life but it didn’t seem to matter.
He did everything properly, he courted Jason better than he had ever been courted before. He gave Jason gifts, beautiful notebooks and classic novels with the fancy covers that Jason always saw in bookstores but could never bring himself to buy despite finally being able to afford them. He gave Jason soft blankets with his faint beta scent attached to them, pillows for Jason’s nest, Jason’s favorite brands of tea and all the weapons Jason could ever want! He gave Jason guns from other dimensions, swords from the Dark Ages that he had specially made just for the omega. Danny showered Jason in gifts, he took Jason on the most spectacular and wonderful dates, and he never questioned him.
That was the most important part in Jason’s opinion.
Because after everything he had been through between living on the streets and training in the League of Assassin, Jason wasn’t what most would consider a normal omega. He was scared of letting people in, scared of letting others see those vulnerable parts of himself and Danny handled that so well.
Danny came with his own baggage, with trauma that could match Jason’s–not like it was a competition–and because of it he was so utterly patient and understanding. He was more than happy to go at a snail’s pace. He took everything Jason’s speed as the vigilante worked to figure out their dynamic together and Jason found himself falling more and more in love with the beta because of it.
So as nervous as Jason was, inviting Danny into his nest during his heat was probably the easiest decision Jason could ever make. He trusted Danny to be there for him, to respect his boundaries and make sure that he was safe. Danny would never in a million years hurt Jason, especially not when he was as vulnerable as he was during his heat.
Which was why when the beta knocked on the door of his most secure safe house, Jason ignored the pounding of his heart and swung the door wide open, a smile stretched across his face.
Danny gave him a bashful smile as he looked up at the Crime Lord, his cheeks just a bit flushed. “Hey gorgeous,” he said, his eyes twinkled with mischief and the anxiety in Jason practically disappeared as he grabbed the front of Danny’s shirt and yanked him into his apartment. He pulled his boyfriend into a hug reminiscent of Dick Grayson’s octopus holds and scented the beta thoroughly.
The halfa simply laughed from underneath him, wrapping his arms around Jason’s shoulders. “I missed you too,” he said, tangling his fingers in Jason’s dark black locks, tugging at his hair lightly as Jason nuzzled the scent gland on Danny’s neck.
Danny’s scent reminded Jason of all of his favorite things. Of brand new books, the sharp scent of coffee brewing, and a soft flowery smell that Jason could never quite discern. The scents were quite as strong as they would be on an alpha or an omega but Jason didn’t mind, he found himself drawn to the lovely smell every time Danny was close. It was like a warm blanket wrapped around his shoulders holding him tight and lovingly.
“I brought those nasty ass protein bars you like, some wonton soup from that shop on eight street that you like a lot, and a bunch of easy snacks that i know you like,” Danny said, running his wrist along the scent gland on Jason’s neck, not minding one bit as Jason thoroughly scented the beta. “I’ve also got a case of Dr. Pepper since it’s your favorite, some cherry garcia ice cream because you’re a madman who doesn’t realize that half-baked is obviously superior, and a bunch of those electrolyte packets that we can mix with water. I also brought a bunch of my blankets and pillows and clothes,” he said with a sly smile that had Jason pulling away quickly.
His eyes immediately zeroed in on the duffel bags that sat at Danny’s feet and grinned. “Danny Fenton, have I ever mentioned just how much I adore you?” He breathed out and Danny just gave him a small hint of a smile.
“You could stand to say it more often,” he teased as Jason hefted the bag full of Danny’s clothes and blankets and pillows and hurried into his room to start adding them to his nest, Danny not far behind with everything else they would need for the next five days of Jason’s heat.
Yes, Jason was nervous about showing this side of himself to Danny. If he was being honest, though, it was the best decision he could ever make.
did you enjoy this one shot? Send me a request here and I'll try to get to it asap <3

💔💛💚
💔: If you had to remove one major character from the series, who would you choose?
Joe fucking West. He makes my skin crawl for so many reasons -Not telling his daughter that her mother is alive, pushing his foster son to pursue a relationship with his foster sister, controlling his daughter's life in everything from what kind of career she could go into to whether or not she should know about Barry's identity to -again- encouraging a relationship between her and her foster brother.
💛: What is a popular ship you just can't get behind, and why?
I think I've mentioned this before, but Bruce/Selina. It doesn't make any sense to me. They don't seem to like each other at all, after the 'We're on opposite sides' thing is taken away. Bruce/Talia is another one, but it's actually even more confusing to me, but I'm not sure if it's considered popular.
💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?
Okay, I couldn't narrow down my favourite character, so I'm gonna give you several!
Len- Any time he is written in a way that it isn't obvious that, at his core, he cares about people. Not just his Rogues, but regular citizens. Especially kids. This is a man who doesn't particular enjoy violence, but will fuck your shit up if you so much as scare a kid.
Harvey Dent- Harvey and Two-Face are two separate entities. While 'Face is the crime lord mob boss, Harvey himself is so fucking full of love and devotion and an intense desire to be good. And he fucking hates 'Face. They actually hate each other, but he fights him so hard. If you're writing a Harvey and I don't get the impression that he is the saddest man in the world, would do anything from Bruce or Batman, and that he wants to take care of Gotham, then you aren't writing Harvey, you're writing a dude with scars.
Jason Todd- Jason. Todd. Is. A. Dork. This is a boy who steals his brother's toys and whistles innocently. He grins and waves before blowing up a building with a rocket launcher. When waking up bare ass naked with a hot woman, he shuffles around covering his junk while nerding out over her spaceship. He gets bullied by the family dog. He Grrrs at people. He gets all sweet and doe eyed when he's drunk. Stop writing him as a dark grumbly edge lord! He is soft! He is dork! He is baby!
Conner Kent- If you aren't writing Kon as the saddest boy in the universe with identity and self worth issues bigger than all out doors, then you aren't writing Kon, you're just writing Some Guy. He is also not a dumb jock. He is a tiny (*glares at Johns' TT run*) little twink who collects Magic the Gathering cards, is a Trekkie, freaks out if he's going to miss his favourite show, and if he's going out as Conner instead of SB, he usually dresses quietly and in big frumpy clothes that conceal his body (someone let this baby explore his gender, goddammit).
Tim Drake- Don't waste my time if it isn't blatantly obvious that the Timmy you're writing isn't just one bad day away from snapping and raining hellfire and destruction across the land while he stands at the top of a pile of skulls laughing maniacally as the screams of the damned are echoing around him.
Tim Drake, 2.0- Don't waste my time if it isn't blatantly obvious that the Timmy you're writing wouldn't lose a fight with an arcade claw machine trying to show off for his boyfriend.

Some headcannon about Athanasia
• She's a mama's girl.
• She has a Damian-Dick relationship with Jason.
• She's more of an anti-hero like her mother than a hero like Bruce.
• She's closer to Mara, Damian,Jason Rey, Rose, and, surprisingly, Kon than the other bat kids.
•Rose is her babysitter.
• She feels weird that Jason and Rose are dating because Rose is Rey's brother, Jason is her brother, and Rey is also her brother.
• She's closest to Rey (hidden child trauma).
• She hangs out with Lena ll on the weekends (Bruce doesn't know what to make out of her friendship with Lena ll).
• Their trio is Athanasia, Lena, and Adrina (Aquaman's daughter).
• People are kind of afraid of her rbf (understandably).
• For me, I don't think she will take up a bat mantle or work for Batman, or I don't want her to work for him because we already have Damian. For that, I wanted her to have a different path. You know, becoming an anti-hero might be the best option for her character. I meant she can definitely change, but her overall character can stay in the anti-hero zone.
I really like her relationship with Alfred. I think it's cute to have a nice relationship with your grandfather.
•Alfred repeatedly reminds her of Ubu because of their gentleness. And Ubu is the one who primarily takes care of her.
• She's the student council president.
• She likes control (where she gets it) and
• Surprisingly, a very messy person when left alone (Talia Lexcorp era)
• She can actually make people cry because she's really mean.
• When she gets used to Gotham and starts hanging out with teenagers her age, her vocabulary really expands. Batfam doesn't really know what she says half the time.
• She gets scared when animals are around her because she might hurt them.
• Idk but i really wanter to add this even thoug This is a bit controversial but when she's in stykers Island one of the guards is really bored and he's a Christian and started bringing the Bible on his duty and athanasia bored been locked up for a few months take interest in the guard and started asking him questions about it and she got hooked up and because she got nothing to do because she's in prison he started to ask the guard to read the Bible to her and the guard is an older gentlemen and felt locking up a sixteen year old is heartbreaking and because her own granddaughter is also 16 he took pity in her and started teaching her about how it all started and she got curios and asked a question why did God gave human a free will the guard answered because God does not need a robot who only knows how to follow orders and wanted us to have our own choices weather it is to do good or to do evil and because God wanted for us to choose him and when you don't have another option that just force love because there no other option that's why he gave us free will.
• And that really opened Athansia's eyes because all her life she's always been told to want to do and to follow orders, not ask questions, and just to know that someone is telling her that there's a God that gave us free will so people will choose him willingly, which is quite hard to grasp—more than killing and violence. When the guard finished reading Matthew to her, she fell silent, and she asked the guard why they killed him (Jesus). He did not commit any sin or do anything wrong. The guard responded that someone has to pay the fine so we can come to the Lord without sin, and only through him can we get to the Lord.
• After that, she repented and started getting better, and after a few months, the old man is retiring, and his last gift to Athanasia is a Bible.
That's all. I added a lot of things.

Tim Drake & Jason Todd Fic Recs
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
Optimally Sentimental by sprx77 - Rated T
Jason feels the tension fall completely out of his shoulders. Babyest bird is not feeling unsafe, right now; Tim doesn’t get this bitchy around people unless he trusts them. Random civilians and corporate fuckwits, they get soft-spoken, laughing Timothy Drake. Anyone Tim’s not quite comfortable with-- people he has to impress, like the Justice League-- get the world’s most perfect and efficient Robin. Seriously, it’s terrifying. He wears his competency like a sword and doesn’t bother with a shield. So, a snarky Tim-- a Tim who lashes out, without regard for if he’ll be hit back-- is a trusting Tim. A comfortable Tim.
Voicemails About Vital Organs by AshWinterGray - Rated T
Tim's missing spleen comes back to haunt him, and Jason is the only Bat and Family Member available to deal with the problem. There are some realizations, and Tam is just so do with these idiots.
Marlboro Reds and Birthday Wishes by crowclxb - Rated T
Tim can't ever remember the quotes he thinks describe his feelings. Also, everyone forgot his birthday. Not Jason, though. Tim just doesn't know that.
Swaddled in Warmth During Cold Times by melennui (orphan_account) - Rated G
Tim is chilly in the manor, but it's summer and it shouldn't be cold. To remedy this, he makes a hammock and gains a nice moment with his brother too.
i cry with anger / i have done no crime by CosmoKid - Rated M
They replaced him. Talia had told him that, taunted him with the grainy photos of a scrawny little kid in the Robin costume. A tiny little runt of a kid, dwarfed by the looming presence beside him. Fuck, did Bruce just hang around a pre-k and grab the first unfortunate kid whose parents were running late for pick up. Except no, Bruce replaced him with the rich little brat next door. The better, upgraded version of him; the newer, the shinier, the better version. The kid Bruce wanted Jason to be. The Robin Bruce really wanted. Timothy Jackson Drake.
take a chance on me by destiny919 - Rated T
"Hey, Stalker," Jason says without lowering his binoculars. Tim creeps out from behind the air conditioning unit and lets out a put-upon sigh that doesn't really fit a ten-year-old.
bright smile (and they can't see behind it) by AstraEllis - Rated T
Now that Jason's come home and actually spending time with his family, Tim figures his job is done. He kept Batman from self destructing, he was a halfway decent Robin, and Jason's home now. They're whole again, and they don't need Tim. Jason has some things to say about this assumption.
personal space by lawltam - Rated G
Tim gets hit with Ivy's pollen. He doesn't even check who he sent his outgoing help message to until he stumbles downstairs and spots Jason.
Adopt A Rescue! by sardonic_sprite - Rated G
I'm Bean. I'm very shy, but sweet, and I loove snuggles! I get very scared without my big brother, so we need to get a home together! I'm Hunter. I don't trust very easy, but I'm very smart. We may not be litter-mates, but Bean is my brother and we stick together no matter what! "Bean" had squirmed back out from underneath "Hunter" and was pawing at the glass again, looking right at Bruce. But he wasn't just pawing at the glass, he seemed to be making a pattern... "Oh, my God."
Breaking and Entering by Terranpheum - Rated T
Tim isn’t having a good day when he decides to use one of Red Hood’s safe houses as a rest stop. Only, the safe house seems a lot more comfortable than normal and isn’t as empty as he was hoping it was.
and i'm so sick of seventeen by Anonymous - Rated T
“You know this is bizarre, right?” “Jason, I’m just asking for a tiny favor—” “Tim, last week I watched you synthesize, in real time, a whole new organic compound for one of Crane’s toxins, on the fly, with half your guts hanging outside your body. How are you failing eleventh grade chemistry?” (Or; Tim gets Jason to help him with his chemistry homework. They bond.)
carry you home in my teeth by windupclock - Rated G
Jason takes his helmet off before he goes to deal with his replacement. He’s not expecting a hug. He gets one.
Only One Thing by Lulu_Rythmea - Rated T
"You're a great hugger, kiddo. 10/10 would hug again." "... you will? Really?" "Yeah, baby bird. Whenever you want." How far was that promise meant to go? OR: The fan-made sequel to destiny919's "Last Request".
hit me like a shooting star (so i can make a wish) by Ms_Trickster - Rated G
“He broke my camera!” Tim wails, incensed. “Not a crack, not a dent; it’s nothing but a pile of glass because he broke it!” “And his ankle,” Robin adds. “And my ankle!” “...I accidentally hit him with my car,” Batman reluctantly offers when Dr. Thompkins raises her eyebrow at him, causing her to choke on her next breath. (Or: One evening while birdwatching, a ten year old Tim Drake gets run over by the Batmobile.)
Whiplash by Lunette3002 - Rated T
When Barbara called to tell Tim that one of his safehouses had been broken into, he wasn't expecting to find an unconscious Red Hood. OR Words like "whiplash" can have two meanings :)
Bridges Not Yet Burned by Kgraces - Rated T
Somehow, they keep coming back to this: Tim, Jason, and a Batarang
Little Overlooked Dreams by Lunette3002 - Rated G
Tim weighed his options. He was alone at night in some alleyway in Gotham. He had nothing except the clothes left on the ground by someone and the cloak wrapped around his skinny shoulders. His camera was nowhere in sight. His backpack was gone too. He brought the device to his ear. “Hello?” Whatever talking had been on the other end of the line immediately cut off at his hesitant greeting. “Who is this?”

my opinions on every bat. batfam doesnt work because i dislike forcing them into family some of these bitches hate each other and thats okay. my opinions on the fandom is for another time you people are idiots and also 13 years old
bruce. such a good character at his core but its like nobody knows how to write him. hes not a good father, but hes not a bad one either. ultimately he is still that scared little boy in an alley thirty plus years later. he needs to get over himself but if he got over himself thered be no story to tell
dick is mid to me honestly but thats prob bc i havent read any nightwing focus comics. i think he has good character and is fascinating i just prefer other characters. hes super interesting but in a i dont need to figure it out way
jason is jason. i like him but hes so overhyped. i saw a figure of him in the store today and got excited. nobody can characterize him right except for the utrh movie that was peak. i dont think he needs to reconcile with bruce i dont want him at family dinners i want him to live his life away from the bats doing his own thing for gotham
tim. hes like my second fave robin i guess when i think of robin its him. hes a really good character but fandom has made him into a completely different guy. im glad he has that boyfriend but hes honestly kind of a little bitch. beefing with a ten year old but with good reason i guess
damians my fave. i want to take him out of dc and keep him safe. can he please be a normal kid. please. i dont want him to be robin i dont want him to be a vigilante i want him to go to art school and hang out with his girlfriend. i could fix him. im also pissed about how people treat talia you just hate women. you can disregard important character details but you cant get another damian origin story than the first bad one. its been rewritten please be nice to my boyyyy
steph i love steph so much. batgirl 2009 my beloved. i dont want her to be part of the "fam" i want her as a strange employee and family friend. i want her to show up for five minutes at christmas to give people novelty socks and then go home to her own family. you people have forgotten she has a whole mother. bruce will never ever ever be a father figure to her you are insane
cass i love cass. i never finished reading her batgirl i started it when my hyperfix was dying down. but i still love her and think shes awesome shes the next batman. that panel where everyone just accepted that batman had transitioned still makes me giggle. i want her to live her best life i want her to find joy outside of vigilantism i want her and steph to be gay tbh
duke. i miss duke. hes such a cool character thats often disregarded. he has powers man thats so awesome. i need to read more of him because hes such a ray of sunshine (lol) and a great guy. finally someone with a helmet and proper armor! i like that hes a daytime hero gothams such a shit place they need it
babs. i like babs. you should not make her batgirl again or erase her disability every author who does that needs to be killed. she is a wheelchair user you dumb fucks how can her paralysis be magically cured and she can be as flexible as she used to be. no you fucknuts she is even cooler in her oracle role. her and dinah have something yuri going on can dinah divorce ollie

I am insane for your tma x dc headcanons! I have to ask, do you think any of the other dc characters are entity aligned? Heres a few hcs i had:
The Scarecrow: honestly might be an avatar touched by all the fears like Jonathan Sims. Probably like Sims, he started researching the fears and Scarecrow became obsessed w them. If i had to go with a single entity, i would say he is Dark/Corruption/Eye alligned
The Riddler: Eye or Spiral alligned
The Joker: slaughter or corruption (the angst if Jason shared an entity w his murderer!)
Poison Ivy: Extinction?
Harley Quinn: hunt or stranger aligned? She was hunting down the cure for Jokers issues, but he wasnt who she thought he was and she became the prey
Killer Croc: Flesh babey!
Two face: maybe another slaughter?
The penguin: Web
I dont know enough about non-batman characters to do others tbh
Okay, so in my opinion plenty of characters have been touched by various Entities or even marked by them in ways that can motivate them without fully being Avatars or aligning themselves with those Entities. Like, Scarecrow just screams to me of someone who was touched by the Spiral (and is probably in real danger of becoming an Avatar,) but he’s holding on to his own sense of rationality as hard as he can and trying to make Fear make scientific sense. Someone who would walk out of an impossible corridor, and spend weeks measuring the outside of the building trying to find where the hell that corridor was supposed to fit, before sending someone else in to see if they experienced the same thing, only to become fixated on the differences… Not saying that’s what happened, but Jonathan Crane had some kind of experience with the embodiment of Unreality itself, and he definitely feeds it regularly.
(Harley, likewise, seems more like a victim of the Spiral, Corruption, or Stranger than anything else. Oh, she’s still a supervillain/anti-hero depending on the day, but her origin story is of her mind being broken by the Joker’s abuse. That is either depressingly mundane, or being chewed up & spat out by one of those three Entities.)
I hadn’t thought much about most of the villains, but I am 100% with you on Ivy being an Avatar of the Extinction, and I can definitely see Croc as an Avatar of the Flesh. I’d throw in Hugo Strange as probably being at least aligned with the Spiral, and Pyg has definitely at the very least been marked by either the Spiral or Flesh (though I don’t know him well enough to say if he’s a full-blown Avatar or not.) If you only saw my first post, I also decided Talia & Ra’s are both aligned with the Web, though Talia values her own freedom enough I don’t think she’s a full Avatar. They’re the ones who helped Bruce find the Mother’s embrace. Damian was supposed to be a Web Avatar as well, but he’s just a little too desperate for love when nobody’s looking; his swarm is silk worms & moths, and he does manage to fake it for a while. If Joker’s an Avatar, it would either be the Stranger, Spiral or Slaughter, in my opinion, but I always like when experts of every kind take time to study Joker and are like, “Yeah, IDK WTF is going on with that guy, but I hate it.”
(Jason is an Avatar of the Desolation in my version, because the Slaughter is about the violence on as large a scale as possible while the Desolation is about the very personal aftermath. The Slaughter is War, where the Desolation is something taking out your entire life in one single night and leaving you behind to deal with it. Jason absolutely wants his targets to be scared of what will happen, what he’ll do to them, but in a “destroy everything you’ve ever worked for & drive away everyone you ever cared about” sort of way; not a “blow up an entire city block for no reason” sort of way. And given how much Jason cares about protecting innocents, he’s actually partially starving himself by not following through on complete Desolation the way people like Jude Perry do. Imagine if The Archivist (around s3) tore out the last page of a statement & threw it away without glancing at it before he started reading. That’s basically what Jason’s doing to himself.)
Some people in the DC universe, though, are just Like That(TM). Sure, it can be hard to tell supernatural trauma apart from genuine mental illness, but it’s still a superhero setting and some people are just little freaks (affectionate.)
Like, Oliver Queen? Just a little freak with a bow. Just a weirdo. Black Canary? Superpowers, but not of the Fear Entity induced kind. She’s just Like That(TM).
Speedsters? Oh honey, you better believe they’re all just Like That(TM). Anti-Avatars, if anything; those bastards basically became one with a potential aspect of the Vast and went “But what if I was just. Like. Nice about it? Or only mean in extremely specific, petty, personal ways? What if that?”
My main “outside of Gotham” thought is that Amazons are aware of the Entities. Primarily, they have to be very careful & monitor eachother for signs of potential influence of the Hunt, but they’re aware of others beyond it (though they might define the Entities along different lines thanks to cultural differences & all that; I don’t have any specifics, I just really like that headcanon that while certain fears are nearly universal, the way different cultures group & view them are going to be different. Like, if spiders are viewed as purely benevolent & good luck by the culture you were raised in, it’s very unlikely any capital-f Fear is going to have a spider motif. Smirke separated the Buried from the Vast, but aren’t they both primarily about being overwhelmed, about Too Much? At the bottom of the ocean, is there any difference? Why should other cultures draw that same line?) This created some tension with Batman at the start of the Justice League, as Diana knew even if he wasn’t lying when he swore to have the best intentions, Batman was still walking a razor’s edge; he could become a monster so very easily. On the other hand, it was a huge relief for Dick (who, again if you’ve only seen my first post, I’ve changed my mind on and decided he’s a Hunt Avatar) when he first met the other Titans and they all went over their powers, to have Donna realize what he was talking about and promise to stop him if he ever lost control. A promise she has actually had to follow through on a few times, when a villain got into their heads and pushed Dick too far; he sleeps better at night knowing Donna is both willing & able to wrestle him to the ground and keep him from hurting anyone, even when Dick’s gone full-feral.
(The tag for this AU on my blog is "tma crossover," if you wanna check out the... everything I have for it.)

Brilliant! Brilliant! Jason is impulsive when he’s scared is such a good reading on him.
I think it’s unfair to say that Jason doesn’t have anything of his own because he does, a lot of it just isn’t really interesting or the writing imo is not as good. Like his romantic relationships for better or for worse have included Artemis, Rose, Isabel, etc. The only romantic interest that was also Dick’s was Barbara (I’m not including Kory because in context that wasn’t what their dynamic really was) and Barbara he has explicitly showed interest in her twice (once with a phone call and the second time with a letter) and Dick doesn’t play a role in it either since the budding feelings develop on their own terms.
I think Jason should be able to have friendships that overlaps with Dick’s. He can have that friendship with Roy and Kory (even Donna) but I feel like as team they probably should have chosen different characters. I would have loved to have seen his friendship with Eddie Bloomberg and then Eddie’s romantic relationship with Rose Wilson. But I also feel like everyone wants something different out of Jason’s character so none of us will ever really be happy.
Personally I like when Jason doesn’t have some strange magic to him. He’s just some boy who was brought back with not even a scar on his body. Like that in itself there is a lot you can work with and is both a tragedy and a haunting. And also I think I prefer him more as a solo character with the community of Gotham being people he really interacts with. Jason really shouldn’t even have a uniform like his leather jacket look from the 3 jokers was probably the best look for him.
I also like when Jason is living in Dick’s shadow but not in the way most fandom portrays it because they did know of each other and briefly had interactions but I can’t see a version of Jason that comes back being very brotherly to Dick and I don’t really think Dick saw Jason when he was a kid as his brother but more as Bruce’s adopted son or kind of student.
And to be fair Jason grew up under Talia’s influence and the real Talia would have been a great influence for Jason to have. Talia lost a son in Damian and gained one in Jason while Bruce lost a son and gained a new one in Damian. And there’s also the fact that Jason would have trained with some of the best weapon users and teachers in the world. Like show me those knives skills! The hand to hand combat.
Idk Jason is such a sad character to me because he has so much potential and writers do nothing with it.
I feel you completely, Nonny.
I know the magic stuff isn't for everyone, I just get a kick out of it lol
I feel the same way about writers not doing the Good Shit with Jason a lot of the time. But that just makes those stories when we do get that good stuff that much sweeter!

Talia likes to gaslight people into believing she's Jason's birth mother.
"You had him really young then?" Yes, I was young and really in love with his father.
"He doesn't look arab tho'. " And? His father is white and I'm sino arab, he may look a little white passing, but I have the stretch marks to prove.
"Usually mixed kids have more..." We have the same completely natural green bright eyes I don't know what you're trying to point here.
"So... both of your sons are from the same father?" Yes, the older got his lack of melanin and the younger his face.
And if you let her, she'll go hours blatantly lying about everything, she once convinced a poor cashier that when Jason was a baby and learning how to walk, he got all the way to the family's garden and she found him sleeping with a tigress and her cubs. Talia says she was scared for her life when that happened and the fact he could sleep so peacefully with such dangerous animals proves that Jason was a born warrior.
She even carries around photos of Jason as a kid on her wallet and makes sure to show them with the biggest grin on her face to anyone who's fool enough to fall into her silver tongue.
When Damian is feeling like a little shit he likes to tell people his mom had a psychological pregnancy and adopted his brother and is conviced she's the one who birthed him, so it's better to agree with her and he always makes sure to sound like hes pitying her
Jason tells people Damian is the adopted one

My DC x DP Masterpost
Here is my masterpost of works that fall into the category of a crossover of DC comics and Danny Phantom. Mostly, these will be notfics. If any of the links are broken please message me ASAP. Edit: I will not be doing taglists because people are quite frankly abusing the idea.
What's a notfic?
So, this was really common in fandom like 10 years ago but it's less common now so I'm just including this quick explanation in case. Notfic/Not!Fic is the halfway point between an actual fic and a prompt. It mostly sort of has the tone of describing another fic to somebody, or working out an ongoing plot with a friend (e.g. Instead of writing out an entire set of dialogue, a notfic might just put "Jason and Tim discuss why they both want to fake their deaths").
Permissions Housekeeping
I totally don't mind if anyone wants to take all or part of what I've written for any prompt and write an actual fic or create another transformative work as long as I'm appropriately credited. If you're just taking the most oblique inspiration from something I've made I'd appreciate at least a tag so I can read it!
Also if you'd like to tag me in any of your works please do, provided that it's the first if it's in a series and not Jazz/Jason as the main pairing, please.
Works

Danny isn't the Ghost King but after defeating Pariah Dark the new king knows Danny has massive political influence.

Danny insists Connor is his clone even though he's really not.

Saw some bad takes tonight but let me make some things clear (for the people who never read Lost Days but think they’re an authority on Talia’s relationship with Jason based one page from the last issue).
1. Talia did not make Jason feel like he was replaced” or that “Bruce didn’t care about him”. Literally the first fucking issue ends with her telling Jason that the universe brought him back because he’s meant for great things. In fact, she’s the only person to have ever told him that his resurrection was a good thing. The only person to have ever framed him not being dead as something positive. The only.
2. Not only did Talia not “manipulate” Jason into “attempting to kill Tim”, Talia was worried about what Jason’s reaction to the new Robin would be. She wanted him to talk about his feelings with her, but he couldn’t at that moment.
3. She didn’t keep him hidden in order to “hurt Bruce”, in fact she saved him out of her love for Bruce. Lost Days says that she didn’t bring him back to Bruce because she was scared he wouldn’t be able to forgive her for not bringing Jason to him right away. It’s faulty reasoning, but it’s not malicious. The more reasonable conclusion is that she didn’t want to betray Jason’s trust by giving him away before he was ready. Which leads me to…
4. She was not manipulating Jason so she could have him as a weapon at her disposal. She admitted that she agrees with Jason’s feelings of betrayal at not having been avenged. She agrees with Jason, even while having acknowledged (back in issue #1) that Bruce would never kill (while Ra’s thought he would snap). She’s proven that she knows Bruce, well enough to know that he will never give Jason what she believes he needs; so, she makes sure Jason can take it for himself. Writers’ understanding of Talia and killing has been lacking, to say the very least, since Morrison, but this was before that. I would understand why other Talia fans might choose to ignore this part, but I think it fits that Talia believes it the duty of a parent to make whatever sacrifice to protect their child. In this case, that would be Bruce sacrificing his morals for Jason.
5. Talia never wanted Jason to fight Bruce. Jason said that he had eventually realized that her training was partly to stall him from going after Bruce’s life (because she knows he had the skill to take it). She lets him go after he admits that killing Bruce isn’t part of his plan anymore.
6. She did not let him kill his teachers because it would corrupt him. She was happy Jason killed his teachers,, but not for that reason. She had previously been worried that Ra’s was right; that the Lazarus pit had turned Jason into a sociopath, incapable of caring for anything but his revenge. Jason killing these people in order to protect innocents is proof to her that he still has some sense of personal morality, that he will not become consumed by revenge; hence, “You’re learning”. She’s not happy he’s a killer, she’s happy he still cares (and I agree with her because what is Jason Todd, if not someone who cares for victims?).
