Maze Runner Fic Recs
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
catalyst by thulkwarrior - Rated G
“When you leaked WICKED information to us, they had been sending your friends into the Maze’s for years… we wanted to know what suddenly changed your mind".
Wonderboy by boxoftheskyking - Rated T
"I-den-ti-fy patterns," Minho sings in an admittedly great Dr. Paige impression. "Class-i-fy differences. De-ter-mine what is out. Of. Place." --- One day in the years before the Glade.
Find a name to call it by icallyoumoonchild - Rated T
Thomas’s body never quite remembers to get out of fight-or-flight; his pulse is hammering away in his throat and he’s sweaty all over when he finally gets his eyes open. His cheeks are wet. He doesn’t remember what he dreamed of, but he can guess well enough at what it was about. “Tommy,” Newt murmurs from his side of the room, and Thomas feels his entire miserable body relax.
In which Thomas helps make the Safe Haven into a home, tries not to think too hard about That Time Newt Almost Died, and learns to feel his feelings.
Would've, Could've, Should've by Sanctum_Sanctorum - Rated T
Newt is dead. Thomas would've done anything to save him. Thomas could've done more to save him. Thomas should've been able to save him. So when Teresa tells Thomas there's still a chance he can save Newt, he takes it. No matter what the cost. Thomas has already lost Newt once. He can't lose him again. He just can't. Right?
Star-Crossed by orphan_account - Rated T
- Just keep running into each other everywhere AU - “Nice to meet you, Minho.” “You sure about that?” Minho counters, and Thomas laughs.
I Care About You Too by FilisMaze - Rated T
“Teresa,” Newt spat, his voice thick with accusation. “She's the only reason that Minho's even missing in the first place. Now we finally have an opportunity to get him back. And what? You don't want to—because of her?” The words hit Thomas like a physical blow. He instinctively backed up until his shoulders hit the cold wall behind him. He tried to think, to form a response, but Newt’s rage filled the space, drowning out reason. “Because deep down, you still care about her, don’t you?” Newt’s voice trembled with fury, and Thomas felt something in his chest tighten, a tension that mirrored the conflict in Newt’s eyes. “Just admit it.” or: Death Cure Newtmas deleted scene (if fili would have had a say in that movie)
i'll meet you where the page proclaims the end by wesball - Rated G
“Tommy, listen,” Newt says a little desperately, and takes Thomas’ hand, intertwining their fingers. “Brenda got to me in time,” he lifts their joined hands up and places them on his chest so that Thomas can feel the steady, constant rhythm of his heartbeat. “You two saved me, see?”
your heartbeat in mine by kearlyn - Rated T
There’s more than one way to give someone your blood. Or, what happens if Newt bites Thomas?
the good hurts by zeenana - Rated T
“You’re either cutting your hair or I’m French-braiding it out of your eyes. You pick.” Brenda’s dead serious and Thomas grins to himself, weighing his options. “Let’s cut it,” he decides, wrinkling his nose when he goes to comb his fingers through his hair and they get stuck. “There’s so much salt in it, I don’t think you even could braid it.” “Excellent.” There’s a loud click as Brenda pulls her pocket knife from her pants and flicks it open in one fell swoop. “Don’t move.” In Paradise, haircuts have happy endings.
Struck by orphan_account - Rated G
What if Thomas got struck by lightning, not Minho? Because I'm petty and like Thomas whump. :)

Supernatural Fic Recs
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
Spacious Skies by domesticadventures - Rated T
The static merges with the rumble of the engine, with Dean’s intermittent snoring, with the thump of the tires as they cross seams in the road. Cas reaches over and takes Dean’s hand in his own.
The Literal Bear Hug by almaasi - Rated G
Suddenly, Cas was a bear. This was not supposed to happen.
as a falling leaf may rest by myaimistrue - Rated T
“Your vision really must be fine,” Cas says a few minutes later, dry as a bone and not even bothering to look up from his novel. “Why else would you be holding your book about two inches away from your face?” Dean scowls. “I like to read like this.” Or, Dean might need glasses.
Rediscovery by dridri93 - Rated G
She'd always known that her human was special. After all, Baby knew him best. It just took the others a little while to figure it out.
Time in a Bottle With You by Sun_Spark - Rated G
A witch de-ages Sam, Dean takes him to the bunker and then leaves to hunt down the witch. Baby Sam won't stop crying, Mary, Auntie Rowena, Sister Charlie, and Uncle Cas can't seem to soothe him without magic or angel mojo, which Dean has expressly forbidden. When Dean comes back everyone learns a thing or two about the brothers and their relationship, and Sam's love of two things: Soft rock and his big brother's singing.
faithful are the wounds of a friend by pilotflyingj - Rated T
He’s still looking at Castiel, however hesitantly it may be, searching his face – for confusion, for disgust, for any sign that he shouldn’t be asking about this. He doesn’t find any; just a warm expression of understanding. Seeing the kindness in his eyes makes Dean wonder how there was ever a time he was scared of him, how there was ever a time he saw Castiel as anything less than a friend. or: Castiel gave Dean magic top surgery when he pulled him from Hell. They finally talk about it.
Nothing More Than a Shattered Mirror by Sickandtiredofyou - Rated G
Dean is still struggling with Cas’s death and suddenly caring for a newborn, when Claire arrives wanting to help. The two try to deal with their grief and anger together.
light upon the water by lamphouse - Rated T
Jack is a blank slate, wet clay, impressionable and unwritten, and he looks up to and relies on each of them so totally. It's a horrifyingly huge responsibility; Dean has no idea how people choose to do this.
of fire and circles by rhinestoneangels (almondrose) - Rated T
“Actually,” he says. “Let’s buy a house.” “What?” Jack asks, eyes wide. “Let’s get a house,” Dean says. “Let’s find somewhere and--and live there. Somewhere with windows.” “Windows?” Jack says, like he’s never heard of such a thing. “Yeah,” Dean says. “How does that sound?” Jack drops his animal crackers and throws himself at Dean, wrapping his tiny arms around Dean’s waist.
sitting here with you (at the kitchen table) by stsgkaisen - Rated E
Dean has no idea what he did to deserve it, but something so bigger and worthier and holier than him found him between the flames of hell and molded him back into himself. Took his bleeding hands and knit the skin back together like Dean was deserving of it. His arms and legs and chest and throat—every inch of him—has known Cas’s touch. The angel had sewn him back together enough times that somewhere along the line, angel grace replaced dental floss, and Dean has never been the same. Now that it’s done and it’s over, the chasm in his gut eats itself raw. *** A little something about kitchen table conversations, and grief and love going hand in hand.
Make It That Much Better by FagurFiskur - Rated G
Unfortunately, the woman takes that as her cue to continue the conversation. “Did you adopt?” “No,” Cas responds dryly. “Dean forgot the condom.” * Or, four times other people mistook Dean and Cas for a couple and one time Dean did it himself.

The Witcher Modern Au Fic Recs Part 2
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
find part 1 here!
The One With All the Songs by Leviosally468 - Rated M
The fact remained that the second Jaskier’s eyes had taken stock of his flaxen hair, pulled haphazardly into what his fellows jokingly referred to as a ‘man-bun’; his bright golden eyes, in which he could have happily drowned; and the way his black jeans hugged what should have been an illegal stretch of hard muscle had Jaskier second guessing his resolve not to stand in the hallway belting out REO Speedwagon’s ‘Keep on Loving You’ at the top of his voice. OR, 5 times Jaskier uses the stages of grief to deal with his unrequited feelings for the handsome, chiseled upper classman in the dorm next to his via his love for music, +1 time he might find himself proven wrong…in all the right ways.
time to wonder, do I dare? by NoRationalThoughtRequired - Rated M
It makes a certain kind of poetic sense, having a musician--who specializes in taking you somewhere else with his songs while you’re stuck here, in the present--playing outside of a bookshop--which specializes in selling pages bound together by the hundreds that transport you to other places, other times. This young man, this Jaskier, he’s bright, he’s cheerful, he’ll draw the eye, you won’t be able to be within a hundred feet of him and not be curious, and if there are curious people standing right by a shop of curious books and other curiosities, well, the idea makes a certain kind of business sense, too. Geralt gives a nod, short, sharp. “Just don’t block the door. And don’t make me regret this.” Jaskier claps his hands together and squeals in delight. “No, no, I won’t, I promise. You won’t! You won’t regret this.” Or: Bookshop owner Geralt inexplicably, in what must be a fit of temporary madness induced by the early hour and not enough caffeine, allows musician Jaskier to play outside his shop. Somewhere along the way, he starts to fall in love.
Jitters by LovelyRita1967 - Rated T
Jaskier is an aspiring musician working in a coffee shop. Geralt is a fancy lawyer in expensive suits. It could never work between them… right? Jaskier turned and found himself looking up into the face of the most beautiful human being he had ever seen in his life. His jaw dropped, his cheeks flushed a fiery red, and, had he been a cartoon, his eyes most certainly would have done that “boing-oing-oing” thing. “Good morning!” Jaskier announced, perhaps a little too loudly, eyes a little too wide. “What can I get for you, sir?” The man met Jaskier’s gaze, and his cheeks burned even hotter. What was happening to him? “Double espresso, to go. Please,” he rumbled, in the deepest, sexiest voice Jaskier had ever heard.
A Chalice For Your Thoughts by Birds_of_forgiveness - Rated T
Geralt collides with a mysterious blue-eyed busker along the side of the road and somehow just can't stop running into him. At least it's just the coffeeshop...right? Geralt let his feet guide him home as his mind drifted to consider the conditions that could possibly lead to vertebrae-anus ejection. His preoccupation led him to be less conscious of his surroundings than usual. “Ah cock!” Geralt slammed directly into a busker who had been playing by the side of the road, knocking the man’s instrument out of his arms. The busker darted downwards to grab his lute. As the musician carefully inspected the instrument, Geralt stood around awkwardly trying to decide if he should just move along or wait for a response. When the man seemed satisfied that the instrument remained intact, he finally turned to acknowledge Geralt. Oh, fuck.
Like Catnip by tabbytabbytabby - Rated T
Jaskier is confused when he comes home one night to find a cat in his apartment. Until he looks into the cats eyes and realizes they're a little too familiar, and this isn't just some ordinary cat.
All Nature Laughed In the Sunshine by inexplicifics - Rated T
Going to the largest corn maze within three hours' drive of Oxenfurt and racing his friends to the center had sounded like a good idea, right up until the point Jaskier realized he was completely lost.
The Grass is Greener by JaskiersWolf - Rated G
Jaskier's mother is coming to stay and his garden is an absolute mess and his lawn mower has seen better days… luckily for him his ridiculously hot neighbour is there to lend a hand.
Can't keep these jitters down (What a way to wake me up) by Pepper_P - Rated M
“What’s this?” Jaskier stares at the flowers in his hand, looking like they’ve been fucking run over as Geralt looks on with a lazy grin tie loose around his neck and hair disheveld. “You have time to wrestle a bouquet but you can’t return my calls?” “Was too busy running over them with my car.”  Jask scoffs, stepping away from the door to let the man in, putting the poor things in a chipped mug of water, though they’re beyond dead.    Or, chaotic boyfriends love each other in chaotic ways.
A Little Human Contact by Quallian42 - Rated T
Geralt has now been officially divorced for longer than he has been married. Eskel and Lambert celebrate by buying him a session with a professional cuddler named Jaskier. Sometimes a little human contact can change everything
Give Me Nothing, Give Me You by dls - Rated T
Ciri's kindergarten letter comes in the mail on a Tuesday. Geralt opens it, skims it, and frowns at the class his daughter has been assigned. Dandelions. Or: A modern AU with Dad!Geralt and Teacher!Jaskier.
Remind Me What Kindness Is by Bedalk05 - Rated T
Jaskier was baffled. This giant figure was a man of legend, inspiring words of terror and admiration both. And yet facing him Jaskier only saw a lost and lonely man who acted more like an injured wolf than a butcher. AKA the modern AU no one asked for where Geralt is a vigilante and owns a flower shop, Jaskier is a tattooist and singer, and they both have lots and lots of feelings.

The Witcher Modern Au Fic Recs
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
Find part 2 here!
I'll Never Be Free From Your Smile by whisperedstory - Rated E
Geralt isn't sure how he got here, standing in his kitchen in black gym shorts and a baby pink—baby fucking pink—shirt that stretches too tightly over his muscles and has Toss a Coin written in sparkling gold letters across his chest while Jaskier is aiming a camera at his face. Or: Jaskier is a YouTuber and Geralt is his best friend and roommate.
Publicity Pandemonium by ForestWren - Rated G
Jaskier, a musician with a quickly-growing fanbase, is asked to do an interview before his newest album is released. To his surprise, he is also asked about his relationship with Geralt Rivia, an actor whose connections to Jaskier have recently been subject to great speculation on the internet -- speculation that may be closer to the truth than anyone expects.
opposites attract by vachement - Rated G
Geralt knew his reputation, okay? And it wasn’t like he went out of the way to encourage it, or anything, but looking tough and unapproachable did do away with a lot of life’s daily irritants. Like social interaction of any kind.  His job as a security guard meant that he didn’t have to talk much, anyway. He stood outside his boss’s office and glared the whole day, got his check at the end of the week, and that was that. It wasn’t the most interesting job, as people had learned pretty early not to fuck with him, but Geralt didn’t mind it. There were worse jobs. Unfortunately, though, his job meant that he was invited to the annual holiday party, and his mostly antisocial nature meant he couldn’t think of an excuse that sounded somewhat realistic so that he didn’t sound like a complete asshole for skipping it. He had some standards.
The Captain Conundrum by sociallyawkward_fics - Rated T
None of the detectives were quite sure how to handle their new captain. He was grumpy, closed-off, and altogether seemed like he'd be a nightmare to work with. Not to mention, they knew practically nothing about the man, and he wasn't exactly forthcoming with any information concerning himself. Well, they weren't detectives for nothing, and if he wouldn't tell them, they would find out.
just add music by not1_2write - Rated T
Roach steals a busker's sandwich and suddenly Geralt's life is full of music. Jaskier has his lunch stolen and falls in love with the dog, the little girl she belongs to, and her hot baker dad that owns the trendy café around the corner.
A Flower By Any Other Name by peachrayne - Rated T
The office gets an unexpected visitor, and has to figure out who the handsome Jaskier could possibly be here for; on their tenth anniversary, no less.
Rumor Has It by CardamomDaydream - Rated T
The school staff can't help but wonder about Ciri's stupidly hot parents.
Bad Dates and Werewolves by BorealLights - Rated G
When Jaskier’s awful date drags him to the local theme park’s haunted house, Jaskier is expecting it to be miserable. He’s right. There’s nothing that can save his horrible night, or so he thinks. Nothing except the gorgeous white-haired actor who talked Jaskier through a panic attack. “Come on, Jaskier, it’s just a haunted house! Nothing in it is real!” Silas cajoled as he pulled Jaskier forward. The group of people two ahead of them were ushered into the haunted house, and anxiety churned with irritation in Jaskier’s stomach. He bit his tongue to keep from snapping at Silas; no point in making the people around them uncomfortable. “…I’m not fond of scary things,” Jaskier grit out, refusing to just keep silent. He knew what was coming, and braced himself as best he could. “Why, you a wuss? Scared of some spooky sounds and actors in makeup?” Silas teased, grinning as if this was something he enjoyed.
child, live and love by deargalileo - Rated G
jaskier already has enough on his plate: from trying to break out as a musician in a big city while juggling as many odd jobs that he can get to pay rent, he has no time for anything. that is, until a baby comes knocking on his door (no, literally). in which jaskier gets a crush, geralt panics over ciri, and ciri really just wants to explore, regardless of how much it stresses out her father.
Cryptid Fucking for Fun and Profit by ghostinthelibrary - Rated E
When Jaskier, a vlogger and amateur cryptozoologist, goes hunting for the famed Bigfoot of the Blue Mountains, he gets more than he bargained for.
The Art of Theft by LovelyRita1967 - Rated T
Geralt is an A-list movie star and Jaskier is the up-and-comer. They are starring together in a big-budget action-romance, and Jaskier finds it a little too easy to act like he is falling in love with his co-star.
true leadership, rainbow laces, short shorts, and a small cause for national scandal by foghornjazz - Rated T
“In your opinion, Mr Rivia, is it true that Julian Alfred Pankratz is the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment?” the reporter asks him, smiling as though she’s in on the joke.
“Jaskier isn’t even the best keeper in Arsenal,” Geralt replies, deadpan.
Pankratz's transfer deal from Arsenal to Kaer Morhen Football Club is finalised the very next day.
"Oh my god, Geralt, we were roommates." by peaktotheocean - Rated G

Geralt is a simple man with simple desires: he wants to play football and get paid for it. He does not want to be photographed while out for a jog, or have his anatomy debated on morning TV, or play any part in his idiot teammate Jaskier's scheme to expose an ex-friend for leaking stories about him to the tabloid newspapers.

Funny how things work out.
Geralt's followers were used to him talking to Roach, the cat often being just out of the camera frame. So when he had smiled down at his lap during the stream and reached to seemingly stroke at something that looked like dark fur, it wasn’t unreasonable for them to jump to the assumption that it was Roach curled up on his lap. And then the camera shifted.
Wear My Jumper All Night Long by Jack Ironsides (JackIronsides) - Rated T
Geralt needed to find the time to try dating again. This crush on his housemate was getting out of hand. He kept borrowing Geralt’s clothes. And Geralt liked it.
With Thy Watchwords Honor, Duty by orphan_account - Rated M
A cat stuck in a tree leads college student Jaskier to three mysterious brothers whose lives are on the cusp of change.
I'll Fall For You, As Many Times as the Universe Allows by anarchycox - Rated M
Jaskier runs a bardcore channel on the continent's equivalent of youtube and has a chance to be a host of a show on the history channel. He is to go to a reenactment hotel, film some stuff, and maybe he'll have an incredible job. And he is beyond thrilled because they are sending him to Kaer Morhen - the fabled home of the once great wolf witchers, a class of warriors that he read stories about as a child. Only the keep is a bad medieval times wannabe and it is worse that finding out Santa Claus isn't real. The only authentic thing seems to be the actor playing Geralt of Rivia. He is authentic, like super authentic, like super holy wow authentic. What happens when a social media minor celebrity meets a man from the thirteenth century? Why true love of course.
Man In Black by inexplicifics - Rated T
Jaskier is late to his first date with the man he's been flirting with online - but that might just be a blessing in disguise.
soothed beneath the artist's loving hand by scandalousloki - Rated T
A Modern AU where Geralt loses a bet to his roommate, Jaskier, and is now getting his nails painted on their living room couch. Tenderness ensues.
Caffeine or Electrolytes by kueble - Rated T
Jaskier wakes up in an unfamiliar bed, not quite sure of what he got up to the night before.
Hope by kueble - Rated T
Jaskier lets some things slip while he's knocked out on cold medicine. It ends up being more than ok.

Batman Fantasy AU Fic Recs
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
Fly High or Not at all by Arrows_of_Artemis - Rated T
In all his life, Tim has always had one secret bigger than vigilantism. He was a dragon. The thing is, regular humans aren't aware of the existence of dragons. See, dragons are everywhere. Deep inside of volcanoes, sleeping in ice caps. Humans should really be careful about verging into their territories, dragons always wake up grumpy. Dragon!Tim AU This will be similar but very different to my Meta!Tim fic
shallow water blackout by envysparkler - Rated T
Tim is peacefully enjoying a lazy summer afternoon on the ocean, when something large and shark-like nudges the bottom of his boat. It’s not a shark.
Hoard by iselsis - Rated G
Tim, an abandoned young drake, sneaks into the territory of a rival dragon to find food. If he's caught, he'll surely be killed. Except…this dragon hoards more than just gold.
the fire eats fire (and the fire's in you) by Scarlet_Ribbons - Rated T
He also can’t exactly go licking himself, either— not because he isn’t able to, but because when one is under the mentorship of Batman, one of the aforementioned greatest detectives on Earth, one is likely to be questioned if an injury just vanishes. The first time one of Tim’s battle wounds seems to heal all too quickly, Bruce startles him by asking about it. “Uh,” Tim says eloquently, “Er. I suppose it just wasn’t that bad." Bruce looks past him at the exact point on the floor of the Batcave where Tim had lost like a pint of blood the day before. “Wasn’t that bad,” he echoes dryly. [Tim just happens to be a very large, fire-breathing lizard. He manages, until he doesn't.]
Of Predators and Prey by SalParadiseLost - Rated T
Jack and Janet Drake have brought a gift for Lord Wayne's second son. The gift whimpers as he's dragged in.
you are my sunshine by AstraEllis - Rated T
That night in the alley destroyed his life. And marked the beginning of his undeath. Batman stalks the dark streets making sure his own tragedy can never happen to anyone else and has accepted that his living death will be miserable and lonely. He meets a little dragon at a circus and reluctantly admits there might be things other than vengeance worthlivingnot dying for. Nothing to do but panic and adopt more children about it. aka: Vampire Batman will see a magical child and ask “is anyone going to adopt this vampire?” and then not wait for an answer. It remains to be seen whether he will ever adopt an actual vampire child, but dragons, werewolves, kelpies, and warlocks are practically the same thing, right?
Forever and Always by clarityhiding - Rated T
One must always be careful when it comes to swearing oaths. It is imperative that all the variables are ascertained before any words are spoken, particularly when blood is involved. If not, it could very well blow up in someone's face. Despite the unforeseen consequences, Tim doesn't regret his actions one bit.
Here There Be Drakes by Carlough - Rated T
There came a time in every young drake's life that they felt the compulsive urge to collect something, to amass a hoard that would become their life's work, that they would maintain and defend until their death. They started as children with things like coins or precious gems. Most, like Tim's parents, would move on to things like antiquities, or rare books or memorabilia. Tim hoarded Bats. They just didn't know it yet. And then one part of his hoard, one that he'd thought he'd lost forever, finally made its way back to him...
Dragon Tales by Terranpheum - Rated M
Dragons dwell in the mountains, magic pulses through the grass, and Tim Drake is running away from the uncomforts of his home. Where he is headed, he doesn't know, but he's certain that he won't like where he ends up. But if he gains a family along the way, then who is he to complain?
Flaws Are Like Hoards by clarityhiding - Rated M
"Flaws are like hoards. Everything has the ability to be treasure. It just takes the right dragon—or circumstances—to bring out its full potential." When Tim is ten, a dragon saves his life. He then spends not-quite twenty years preparing for their next meeting.
More Precious Than Gold by Drag0nst0rm - Rated G
Most dragons sleep on their hoards. Bruce's hoard sleeps on him. Or: Bruce is a dragon. Predictably, he hoards orphans.
you can swear in my hoard by InkpotSprite - Rated G
"I'm Timothy Drake, I'm a dragon and I'm starting a hoard. I'm hoarding you." He said to Dick. His eyes went to Jason. "And you. Welcome to my hoard." - A baby dragon decides to take initiative and adopt the Wayne's.
The Hunt by iselsis - Rated G
Tim’s ears perked, and his tail wagged hopefully. That was a pack calling to each other, and one of those calls sounded like a puppy! Tim was a puppy! They could be friends! Tim is abandoned by his pack, and he goes to find a new one.
burn at the stake by envysparkler - Rated T
Jason heads to Titans Tower, intent on teaching his replacement a lesson. Dragons are notoriously possessive of their hoards. And the Replacement stole his.
Loch & Key by jayburb (toothpasty) - Not Rated
The legend of Loch Gotham says that any child left on her shores will be taken by the guardian of the lake. Tim Drake decides to test that theory.

Leverage S1e01: The Nigerian Job Fic Recs
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
a change of pace by idkimoutofideas - Rated G
“Why would Dubenich lie to us?” Hardison asked. “Because you’re thieves.” Eliot was getting real tired of the way Nate kept saying “you”. As if he hadn’t been a part of the team that stole the information from Pierson. Eliot worked alone for a long time. Why would he change that now?
cut and glue by lobsterthermidor - Rated G
cutscene from the nigerian job, whilst getting sophie. or -- nathan ford got three kids and was like. alright. lets get mom now. he literally FOUND the family.
The Trusting a Shifter Job by AlannaofRoses - Rated G
Nate Ford knows a Shifter when he sees one. Eliot Spencer sets off all his warning bells. Can Nate learn to trust a Shifter, or will his first job on the wrong side of the law fall apart? This is a bit of a rambly, almost stream-of-consciousness retelling of the Nigerian Job from Nate's POV as he decides whether Eliot Spencer is someone he wants on his team. Not my best work ever, but I really want to play in this AU and I needed to jump start my creative brain with all the mess going on right now. Hope you still enjoy if Shifter!Eliot is your cup of tea.
We'll Always Have Paris by elysiumwaits - Rated G
He told her about his family, and what was left of her heart broke a little.  Sophie is a lot of things. In fact, the list of what she isn't is a lot shorter than the list of what she is. But on that shorter list in her mind, at the very top, it states that she is not a homewrecker. Not really. Nate is a good man. An honest man. He should stay that way.  - Episode Coda for The Nigerian Job, with a little bit of backstory between Sophie and Nate.
Nigerian Job by treefrogie84 - Rated G
The Nigerian Job from Eliot's PoV
Lets Begin With Nigerians by storywriter8 - Rated T

Obi-Wan Kenobi Has a Different Jedi Master Fic Recs
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
You Are Wanted Obi-Wan Kenobi by Allwalkfree - Rated T
Qui-Gon lives and Mace gets a new Padawan. In which Qui-Gon repudiates Obi-Wan and Mace isn't about to let the kid leave the order without a fight.
into the statue that breathes by spoonks - Rated G
The night watch in the garden was supposed to be the calmest of them all. No mischievous Padawans “sneaking” in or out, or ne’er-do-well civilians conducting “business” around the lower-level entrances that they didn’t know existed. No the gardens was still, and it was like time was frozen in ice that slowly melted away with the rising of the sun. A slow drip, drip— Drip. Immediately Feemor turned towards the central waterfall. Someone was standing there. Whoever they were, they were small and moved through katas with their hands open like a greeting.
Obi-Wan, Son of Wolves by SWNeedsMoreJoy - Rated T
Obi-Wan Kenobi had sent a message hoping to get aid for Melida/Daan. He expected the disappointed face of Master Jinn to step off the Jedi cruiser to retrieve him. He hadn't been expecting Jedi Master Plo Koon, newest seated member of the Jedi High Council. Plo Koon had often been told he missed his calling as a crechemaster, but he knew that the Force was pulling him into the wider universe. The day the Council received a comm from Melida/Daan, he felt like the Force was SCREAMING for him to go, and he would never think to ignore the Force. Or: Plo Koon is actually secretly Mandalorian and adopts everyone he can. And gets Obi-Wan therapy Sithdamnit.
Cuun Ad by Shelaar (JonathanAnubian) - Rated M
Knight Alifar is a Stewjonian Jedi on Coruscant who has his eye on a potential Padawan. Now if only Grandmaster Yoda would stop trying to meddle he could raise the younger Stewjonian in peace.
Two-Headed Boy by MercuryMemoir, SweetApricity - Rated T
Obi-Wan breaks the teapot. The tightness in his chest and a tremor beginning in his hands distracts him. The ornate clay which once formed the vessel lays shattered on the floor. It's beyond repair. Soon the remains of the teapot would be discarded without a second thought. That's something I and the teapot have in common, Obi-wan thought. _ The turbulent start to Obi-Wan's apprenticeship leaves him struggling with self-worth. Questioning his place in the order and what the force has planned for him, Obi-Wan makes a drastic decision. Qui-Gon Jinn is forced to face his mistakes.
like echoes (in the Force) by spoonks - Rated T
In the end it was almost insultingly easy. The expiration date for the Ruusan Reformation came and went without even a whisper or glance from the Senate. The shadow of reality that had grown and grown every decade suddenly vanished, like a ghost in the night. But no one in the Temple sighed in relief when the morning came. Instead, they rolled their shoulders and set their plan in motion. It was slow. A whisper that grew into one final, unheard goodbye. A gentle flurry that gained more and more speed and strength until the Temple stood abandoned and no one could remember when exactly they last saw a Jedi on Coruscant.
The Moments That Time Remembered by CallToMuster - Rated M
Obi-Wan’s first memory was not his own. Rather, it was a vision steeped in darkness and flashes of red and choking heat and you were my brother and the harsh crash of lightsabers striking one another. He woke up sobbing in the arms of the crèchemaster, Master Kitaddik, who was hushing him and gently stroking the top of his head with her furry hands. Obi-Wan hid his face in the soft folds of her tunic and, still crying, fell back asleep. The first time Obi-Wan collapsed due to a vision was not long after that. [Or: in all the various iterations of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s life, the Force spoke to him. But in this one, it never stopped.]
a comedy in four acts by jesuisdeux - Rated T
This was what time-travel is: staring at the dark sockets of skulls everywhere your gaze lands on. Being haunted by ghosts long gone. The apprehension of the slow yet sure approach of the inevitable which is sending chills down your spine. And this was why Obi-Wan Kenobi ran away from his quarters—the dimwit face of Qui-Gon Jinn was something he couldn't stand. - “I am no general.” Obi-Wan said. “Yes, you are a scrawny boy who drew a saber on his grandmaster right now.” “All right,” exhaled Qui-Gon, “if it is about Melida/Daan—” “It is not about Melida/Daan, please, dear master mine, shut up.” or Yoda tries to comfort Padawan Kenobi about Melida/Daan, he just doesn't know that Obi-Wan takes his words for, uh, a particular Clone War. Nor does he know he is actually 57. [Now 3 more unexpected chapters including: undercover school trip to the Senate building with Obi-Wan & Dooku, meddling with galactic politics in grand scales aimlessly, stealing from libraries & other public buildings, haunting feudal planet rulers, Mace Windu being the wholesome person he is, playing dejarik, and duelling miserably, because time-travel has effects. Not necessarily in that order.]

Anakin is stuck twenty-five years in the past. It’s only a matter of time before the masters can figure out a way to return him home, but when he witnesses Qui-Gon’s staunch refusal to train Obi-Wan, Anakin’s fury on behalf of his master unintentionally derails both their paths.

Henrietta "Hen" Wilson-Centric Fic Recs
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
Passion by schrijverr - Rated G
An introspection of Hen’s decision to drop out of med school. What drove her to make that choice and what she feels about it.
I'll paint a picture all brand new, though, flip it over there's still you (I don't wanna think about a day without you) by Qwert33 - Rated T
Hen grapples with the thought of becoming Captain of the 118. Karen and Athena are there to talk her through it when Bobby can't. ——— Hen was silent as she thought and Karen busied herself by playing with her fingers. “I just don’t know if I’m ready.” Hen said finally. “What if I really mess it up this time?” Karen looked down at her with a raised eyebrow, “Then the team will have your back.” She said like it was obvious.
Firehouse 118 by schrijverr - Rated G
An insight into Hen’s mind as her the fire station goes from firehouse 118 where she works, to the 118 that is her home.
love on the brain by lizzybizzyzzz - Rated M
“So,” Karen says, apprehension all over her face. “Are they doing that calendar this year?” Hen scrapes green beans onto her plate without looking. A few fall to the floor, which distracts her from Karen’s initial tone and expression as she wrangles them into a napkin. “What calendar?” “The firefighter calendar.” “They do that every year.” “Are you going to submit something?” Hen has sort of a record-scratch moment. She definitely had not been considering subjecting herself to such misery. “The only people that buy those are middle-aged women and gay guys.” She laughs. “They’re not exactly flipping through those things looking for me.” or, hen makes karen a sexy firefighter calendar
stars keep shining by lesbianrobin - Rated G
“I always wanted a bunk bed as a kid,” Karen muses, settling into the awkwardly-low beanbag chair they’d put in the corner of the room. “I had a friend, Monica, she had a bunk bed just for herself. Slept in the bottom bunk and nailed a curtain up around the top one to use it as her secret base.” “Secret base?” Hen glances over to find Karen shifting in the child-sized chair until she’s sitting mostly upright, hugging her knees like she’s sitting on a log around a campfire. God, Hen wants to kiss her. After they finish the bed.
Study Nap by glorious_spoon - Rated G
The light is still on in the living room when Karen makes her way out of the bedroom, padding whisper-soft through the darkened house to where her wife is—passed out on the couch, apparently, still in her clothes, a drift of papers and workbooks scattered around her.
Home is where the blanket war is by SquaresAreNotCircles - Rated G
“Hen, save us!” Karen calls, over two smaller voices crying “mom, mom!” and the familiar yipping of a dog. It’s all very dramatic, but the only voice that has any urgency to it is the dog’s, so Hen allows herself time to pull the door shut and take off her coat and shoes before she follows the noise. Or: After a long day, Hen comes home.
like i like my honey by detectivemeer - Rated T
Karen says, “You’re not my pad thai delivery guy.” “Uh-huh, sweetheart, let’s check that fever.” Hen moves as she speaks, gently nudging into Karen’s apartment like Karen forgot to invite her in and she doesn’t want to make her feel impolite, but— “Hen, I’m sick,” —’en mm sigg— Karen pauses to sneeze once, twice, thrice into her blanketed elbow. - Hen caring for her wife, throughout the years.
Goodbye by Bythia - Rated T
Karen receives the goodbye message Hen recorded after she was buried in the underground garage of the high rise.
Remade All the Time by Mockingbird (DarkTidings) - Rated T
Karen Wilson is used to various reactions from others about being married to a firefighter, but when a friend implies that Hen's intelligence is being wasted, she can't help but defend her wife.
Karen's Strong Wife by schrijverr - Rated M
It’s Karen loving her family (and being horny about Hen being strong. Very much also horny about Hen being strong and having arm muscles).
Captain Wilson by Bythia - Rated G
Hen had had good reasons to decline when Bobby had asked her if she wanted to stand in as the captain of their shift during his leave. With Lucy stuck at home now, Hen regrets that she promised him to do it if no one else was available. When she comes home, Karen—the wonderful wife and partner she is—lets her see that not everything might be as dark and foreboding as it feels.
this is your heart (can you feel it?) by somnum365 - Rated M
Once Karen recovers enough to take care of herself again—once the doctors clear her for light activities—Hen finally lets herself feel the panic of the last few weeks. She’d known that she’d been worried, she’d known that she’d been terrified, but now that the worst of the danger is officially over it hits her hard. Or: Karen recovers from the lab explosion. Hen reflects on how grateful she is.
Solar Eclipse by fondplanets - Rated G
Hen doesn’t entirely get it, after all it is just the sun to her. The eclipse itself is fascinating enough, but not enough for her to understand the pure joy on the faces of her loved ones. But, because they are the loves of her life, she smiles anyway, happy to sit in the joy they radiate. — Or: Hen watches Denny and Karen watch the solar eclipse.

Howie "Chimney" Han-Centric Fic Recs
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
Becoming Chimney by Fizz_gerald - Not Rated
She looked at him, tears filling her eyes “Do you…” Her lips trembled “Do you know who you are?” Maddie looked at him intensely and he couldn’t help but feel sorry for her seeing the pleading look on her face. There was something about her that made him feel like he should be sorry. He cleared his voice before mustering his voice to finally work “Sorry.” He rasped. “No, it’s- it’s okay.” Her voice shook, sadness settling on her face bringing her eyebrows down. Looking at her was about just as painful as his headache, but the pain was different. It rattled his heart in a way he couldn’t understand. He couldn’t understand a lot of things right now. “I’m sorry, who are you?” After episode 7x6 Chimney's amnesia doesn't go away, now Maddie and the whole of 118 must do their best to make sure he find his way back to them. All the while Howard doesn't understand why "Chimney" is the one they want back.
Everything Is Fine (Except It Isn’t) by Juanis_Manati - Rated G
The day after Bobby’s funeral, Chimney goes back to work. They all think he should have taken more time. But Chimney’s got a theory about time: it’s not linear anymore. It’s sticky. Slippery. Weird. Ever since the lab, since the cure, since Bobby’s hand closed over his in that freezing corridor and let go—time’s been off. He tells them, and himself, “Bobby would’ve wanted us to keep going.” No one contradicts that. Because it’s true. Bobby was all about pushing forward. About healing. About carrying each other. He was the kind of man who would die for you. And he did. But he feels it—again—that tiny misalignment. Like he’s one second out of sync with the rest of the world. Like he’s been trapped under too much grief, too many miracles, and now everyone else has moved on while he’s still standing in that sterile lab, clutching Bobby’s hand without knowing it was going to be the last time. Everyone’s happy. Everyone’s moving forward. And Chimney doesn’t know why he’s the only one who feels like he’s still dying. // OR // Not everything is what it looks like and Bobby is dead but maybe he isn't and it's all in Chimney's head
(we are all) a little bit broken by kitsunerei88 - Rated T
His name is Howard “Chimney” Han, and he is Korean-American. Sometimes, to some people, he is Korean; to others, at other times, he is American. He is neither, and he is both.
Piece by piece, he restored my faith by livsoulsecrets - Rated G
John decides to make some changes to the Lees’ house and Chimney reflects about his ability to fix things he didn’t break. “Maybe he hadn’t had the best foundation to build up a family on, but it did seem destiny had granted him a chance to demolish the rotten core and build something new in its place.“
but sometimes we cross the line by buttercupkisses - Rated M
Chimney is drunk. And so is Maddie as far as he can tell going by the way she keeps giggling into her glass, a strand of her hair falling in her face. It’s far more endearing than it has any right to be and he has to use every ounce of control in his alcohol-ridden body to not do something stupid like brush it out of her eyes. OR a coda to the Buck, Actually karaoke scene For Madney Week (Discord edition) Day 3: Canon fix it
oh, i catastrophize by cowboyism - Rated T
Depositing his bag at the foot of their bed, Chimney sinks down on the mattress and unzips it. Carefully, he pulls out a piece of paper and unfolds it, staring at the inked words for the millionth time today. 'Client Howard Han presents with symptoms and behaviours that are consistent with a DSM-5 diagnosis of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.' — Chimney gets diagnosed with OCD and confides in Maddie about it.
The not totally normal, run of the mil, boring, cat in tree, type of day by F_Writes_alot - Not Rated
It had been a totally normal, run of the mil, boring, cat in tree, type of day, and Chimney was bored beyond believes. Him and Hen had had almost nothing to do with no medical emergencies involving the 118, and Buck and Eddie had been more of Cap’s priority to have working on the situations. But something goes wrong as the 118 helps with a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Set after Chimney and Maddie's break up in season 2 (and before they got back together again)
Teen Beach Emergency by serendipitouswasteland - Rated G
Currently, Chimney is standing in the middle of the firehouse, notebook in hand, pen between his teeth as he tries to figure it out. He spins around, looking at the things around him, and then he stops. He’s never looked straightforward before. Or, not in this sense. And there’s…nothing there. It’s completely and entirely blank. He blinks, turning back around, and when he makes a full 360°, the nothingness is gone. or, Chimney figures out they're in a TV show, breaking the fourth wall.
We can be heroes just for one day by buttercupkisses - Rated T
Chimney was well acquainted with the knowledge of freak accidents. It was hard not to when his (hopefully) soon to be brother in law had a habit of turning into a walking encyclopaedia of useless knowledge whenever Chimney went near. The odds of having a vending machine fall on you and inevitably crush you to death were 1 in 112 million. The odds of being killed by a meteorite were 1 in 250 thousand. The odds of being struck by lightning were 1 in 10 million, however, as Buck made sure to add, the jury was still out on that one and many people had disputed the statistic. OR, what if Chimney was the one who got struck by lightning.
walking on a tightrope by buck_begins - Rated G
Chim was having the week from hell. Bobby was off getting some recertifications, forcing Chim to step up into the captain role. He had learned a lot from the last time he had to be captain, but it didn’t end well at all. He had been on edge this whole week, making sure he wasn’t the awful Captain Chim he was last time, and making sure the team didn’t get hurt. Then he had two babies getting their first teeth at home, which didn’t help his mood at all. He was exhausted, and couldn’t wait for Bobby to get back to the station and take back over. Day 2: “you look like shit” + angst

Take The Back Seat by twoseas - Rated M
On Benson and Randy Bradley’s longest day, everyone gets to live. Eventually.
Matchmade by Coileddragon - Rated M
Benson Boudreaux is a veteran Jaeger pilot with a 100% kill rate in the Jaeger 'Savage Horizon'. The problem is he never keeps a Drift partner for long.
Man of the world by greendragon19 - Rated T
“You don't call, you don't write.” He crossed his arms over his chest feigning calm. Drawing Benson's attention to him. “And then I have to find out from my brother in law that you're getting released.” A myriad of emotion passed over Bensons features, recognition, annoyance, confusion, acceptance, a few others that Randy wouldn't dare to guess at. “Randy? The fuck are you doing here?” Randy smiled, dipping his head and looking up at Benson through his eyelashes. Something in the pit of his stomach warming at Benson’s voice and Randy’s name being the first thing he said as a free man. Twenty years after the shooting at the diner, Benson is getting out of prison. Randy goes to pick him up. Deals with somewhat more mellow versions of Benson and Randy after so much time has passed but both still equally co-dependent.
images of all that could be desired by pgndaze - Rated T
A week after Benson's death, a package arrives on Randy's doorstep.
Loves me like a dog by Syntheticpalindromes - Rated E
The woman at the school’s reception desk flat out refused to give them anything about Miss Beard, her hands laid on the countertop as she shook her head sadly. Big, plump bottom lip jutting out in what Benson might have known to be real sympathy if he had ever been presented with the emotion in a sincere way. Which he hadn’t. At least, that’s what he imagined, anyway. When she had removed her palms from the counter, the ledger beneath them had become stuck to one, slick with a nervous sweat that she hid all too well in the calm, collected way she had informed the boy she simply couldn’t give that sort of information away. The page was left greasy and she pointedly did not look at it. “And Mr. Bradley, I really think you’re doing the right thing. Good for you.” She had said, like she was his fucking grandmother. They don't make it to Miss Beard's place. Mr Sheppard lies in a pool of his own blood and Benson & Randy drive on, and on, and on, and on, and on.
Razor Sharp, White Teeth by mimomallow - Rated E
“I never watched that Twilight bullshit, Randy. Do you sparkle now or what?” or Randy has been starving since he was a child. Benson looks delicious.
did you get enough love, my little dove? by intheskywithamethysts - Rated E
The mop slapped wetly on the ground and slid across the grimy floor. Benson dug the head into the ground as hard as he could as he mopped. A sound like nails on a chalkboard ricocheted off the walls. It was agonizing to listen to. Benson didn’t care. It was the only thing louder than his thoughts. She’s not sleeping. She’s not sleeping. The sound of a door being pushed open. Two chimes. Footsteps. Benson looked up. “Hey, Benson.” Benson grunted and gave Bradley a nod as he entered. Well, at least he was working with Bradley today. (canon-divergence: Benson's Ma passes away the night before the beginning of the movie)
Side Effects May Include... by thenewgothicromance -Rated E
Listen, normally Benson’s not one to make somebody do drugs they don’t want. But they’re only three hours into the afternoon shift with another five to go, and if Bradley doesn’t chill the fuck out Chris will never stop bothering him. And if Benson has to listen to that all day, again, he is finally going to do something stupid they’ll all regret. It’s easier just to make Bradley take the pills.
Don't Forget the Joker by devovitsuasartes - Rated M
Randy had been driving home for about five minutes when he looked up into his rear view mirror and saw Benson staring back at him coldly from the back seat.
Can’t Help to Smile with those Eyes that Shine on Me (You’re Making Me Act Funny) by hellcat_shalalala - Rated T
"Thank you, Mr. Mustache Man.” She retrieves her blue crayon and scrapes it over the scribble of green she just made. “I’m sorry I dropped them. It was on accident.” A little smile twitches at the corner of his lips. Threatens to spread. He runs his tongue over his teeth to make his lips stop moving like that. “Them things got little legs," Benson continues dragging the mop. "Runnin’ off like that.” She’s delighted by that thought. “Little legs?” She repeats. She grabs one and twists it around trying to look for them. “Where?” He doesn’t respond. Just a laugh through his nose and a mindful push and pull of the mop, sweeping it under the seats. Yea. This is Bradley’s kid all right. or Randy has no babysitter for his four year old daughter, Seraphina, and has to bring her into work for his Saturday shift. His coworkers proceed to lose their minds over this new information. /pos Title is paraphrased lyrics from the song Picture Me Better by Weyes Blood
Doomsday is Close At Hand by riddlerapologist7 - Rated M
Randy’s eyes shoot open, he gasps for breath. He rips the comforter off of his body as he registers where he is: his bedroom. What? He was just at the diner. He could almost smell the greasy stench of the flat top grill mixing with the coppery scent of blood permeating the air. Could he have really dreamed everything that had happened? He reached up to feel his shoulder where he had been shot, where Benson had desperately been clutching to try and keep the blood from spilling out of him. He felt nothing, no wound, no pain, just the smooth skin of his shoulder and the cotton shirt he was wearing. He ran his hand over his chest, feeling his heart beat rapidly beneath his skin.
Ranson time loop au!! I'm not the first to come up with this idea, but this is my take on it :)
Erasure Poem (or, The Narrator Writes the First Draft of the Rest of His Life) by thenewgothicromance - Rated E
Randy almost doesn’t understand how it happened, even though he’s the one who started it. Three weeks ago he’d never had sex with anyone, had never thought about doing it with a guy, didn’t think much about doing it at all. And maybe that means there’s something wrong with him, but he’s not stupid—Benson is into him. And if Randy can use that to keep him calm, keep them on track for a little while, maybe Benson will come back to himself. Will shake off the shock, and tell Randy what the plan is.
Like Splinters Under Your Skin by pissedoffeskimo - Rated M
Maybe Benson doesn’t know exactly where he’s going or how long it’ll be before this whole thing reaches its inevitable, bloody conclusion, but he knows he’s taking Randy with him. (Canon divergent from Miss Beard's house)
cold blue summer by visceravalentines - Rated E
Elliot Sheppard, a third-grade teacher at Central Elementary, abused children for many years before being exposed and taking his own life. Now, twenty years later, the school is being demolished, and something has awakened.... Strap in for the cruelest summer on record. An homage to classic slasher movies with a summer romance flair.
the driver by visceravalentines - Rated T
They’re about 50 miles over the Missouri border when Benson asks him. “You think you could drive, man?”
Or, Benson trusts Randy to take the wheel so he can get some sleep, and Randy spends the night thinking about Benson.

these same roads by theappleppielifestyle - Rated M
Benson walks slowly, like he’s not about to drag Randy into the worst day of his life, like he’s not about to set off a chain of events which will lead to Benson lying still and bloody in a dirty parking lot. Randy wants to vomit. It feels so real. (Or: the Time Loop fic.)
When Is a Mugshot Not a Mugshot? by saturnson - Rated M
So what Randy kept a newspaper clipping in his wallet, folded neatly behind two crumpled dollar bills. So what the edges of it were soft with use. So what he talked to it. So what he couldn’t stop thinking about him. Randy was fine. OR Benson's alive and in prison. Randy isn't coping well.
This Bundle of Life by kbloh - Rated E
“I’ve been waiting for you to kiss me first,” Randy said. He hadn't known he was waiting for that until that moment but nothing had felt more right. Benson smiled. “You fucking coward.” When the world ends and the dead don't stay dead Randy and Benson still find each other.
Never Coming Home by Coileddragon - Rated T
Randy's made a habit of visiting Benson's Ma after that day, knowing the older woman has no one else to keep after her. They get a little closer.
sugar stuck in your teeth by visceravalentines - Rated T
They're grimy and tired and Benson's neck is sore. Randy gives him a shoulder rub and thinks hard about the allure of being a biological organism.
How doth the little Crocodile improve his shining tail; by sableeclair - Rated T
“What’s your name, again?” “It’s— my name's Randy.” He looked up, but only lasted a few seconds under Benson’s intense gaze before he had to look away again. Benson had folded his arms up in front of him, casual. Nonchalant. Leaned his hip back against the reception desk and spoke, “Well, Randy. I don’t work on nervous people. They get jumpy under the needle and fuck up the art, and it's a waste of everyone's time. Can’t really trust ‘em to sit well while I’m working.” Randy’s heart dropped behind his ribs. He wondered if he could, at least, get his deposit back. “Can you promise to be a good boy for me?”
Slow Life by brilliantbean - Rated T
In which Randy is on the road with Benson, and he wishes he had a pen.
same as it ever was by stillmadaboutpetra - Rated M
It takes Benson one loop to decide he’s probably in hell or purgatory or wherever bad little boys who shoot their coworkers and take hostages go. Why the fuck not. That kinda day. That kinda life.
devour by ohhdarling - Rated E
“Do you ever go out there?” “Sure.” Randy debated telling him about what he saw last night and decided it was probably a good idea if he also spent time out there. “I saw a wolf last night. Didn’t know we had any around here.” Benson’s nostrils flared as he took a sharp inhale. “All the more reason to stay away.”
Are We Alone, Can You Feel It? by HopelessLimerent - Rated T
Yes, Randy definitely recognized them. This was the third time they’d been in this week, on top of the two times they’d come in last week and a couple of times the week before that. And while Randy could admit that he wasn’t always the most observant, there was no doubt in his mind that it wasn’t the middling burgers or thin milkshakes bringing the girls in on a regular basis. “How can I help you girls?” Benson was far and beyond the most charming person working at the restaurant, and the girls had certainly noticed.
maybe in another universe, we’re together by shirelings - Rated T
Randy shows up for work early, so Benson lends him a cigarette and some companionship. It's really not that bad.
mouth of the wolf, eyes of the lamb by rainbowcolored7 - Rated T
His teeth gnashed, saliva thick in his throat, canines cutting into the tender flesh of his human mouth. Claws, still growing from his nailbeds, thick and dangerous, swiped out and filled his vision with crimson. Buckets of blood rained down on him, hot like summer storms, acidic and enticing.
Blackened Guts And Bloodied Teeth by KingCobblepots_Army - Rated M
When Benson had set out to face the one thing that had fucked his entire life up. He was well aware of the risks. Had made peace with the fact that he wasn't going to come back home. Loading up the revolver that had been stashed in the cabinet in the living room. He tells his ma he loves her before he had walked out the door. He was taking the fucker with him. It was going to be the one good thing he's ever done with his life. Well, despite his best attempt he in-fact did not take the fucker down with him. Turns out the man was more monster than he had originally thought. What should have been a bullet to the head after spitting on the splattered remains of the shit bag. Turned out to be teeth tearing into his neck and hands caressing his guts. Blood choking him vision going dark kissed with the promised that he wasn't going to be let go that easy. Turns out he was always the bastards favorite.
a new color by voidedcat - Rated T
Randy liked closing shifts, especially when he would get scheduled with Benson, quiet, non-judgmental, stoic Benson. At the end of their shifts, Randy got to his car and found it with a flat tire. He was then offered a ride home by his seemingly apathetic coworker, and he realized he might have been wrongfully judging the man.
And I Turned 'Round And There You Go by HopelessLimerent - Rated T
“You doin’ that Secret Santa thing?” Randy looked up from the box of fries in his gloved hands, his eyes following the sound of Benson’s voice. Benson was casually leaned against the brick, a cigarette hanging loosely between his lips. His hands were stuffed into the pockets of his jacket, an old work coat with tears and cigarette burns freckled across the brown-mustard canvas material, and he looked at Randy curiously, like one might any wiry, nervous creature that seemed to have strayed from its natural habitat into someplace overwhelming and confusing. The younger man wasn’t unlike a wild fawn the way his eyes were big and bright against his face, his edges soft and harmless, and his demeanor always somewhere on the sliding scale between naive and nervous.
Two Weeks Notice by turnabout - Not Rated
Weeks before Benson's killing spree, Randy has a vision of the events to come. After weighing his options, he decides the best chance he has to save his coworkers is to befriend Benson. He's the worst person for the job. He's also the only candidate who applied.
There Is Something to Be Said About a Giraffe's Kick by LordSuven - Rated M
What is the butterfly effect? The average guy likely knows the answer to this question, knows that it is one action that can lead into another and then another so on and forever. Or perhaps, choices are like dominoes. They are a stack of long rowed little blocks knocked over too early, at the exact right time, or too late. Bradley is a domino without any dots. Benson is a domino with too many, a printing error. A scribbled out mistake. But back onto cause and effect. All it takes is one change, one choice, one little twist, one outstretched leg, and there go the dominoes.
Maddening Cloud by LiminalNowhere - Rated M
Randy felt terrified. They were on their way to Ms. Beard's house... they were on their way to Ms. Beard's house and Benson now looked more like a cornered animal, wild and out of control, ready to attack at any second, and that made Randy feel absolutely terrified for her. (Canon divergence were they don’t reach Ms. Beard and instead Benson takes Randy on a very stressful and traumatic road trip)
Born on the bayou by ej_writer - Rated M
Randy learns magic from Lisa. He spirals out of control with the possibility.

Leverage Redemption Fic Recs
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
Happy LevRed Season Finale!!
Find Previous Leverage Lists here! (Leverage, Tap Out Job, Carnival Job, Rundown Job)
Our Unexpected Family Reunion by cminerva, GlassFullOfSass - Rated G
In which Harry meets more of the extended Leverage family.
The Job-Gone-Wrong Job by Grammar_Beane - Not Rated
Eliot’s voice came out tense. “Breanna’s gone. Her comms are dead.” Parker’s eyes widened, but she allowed no other tension to enter her body. “Okay. Plan doesn’t change much. Sophie. Go in. Find Breanna.” “I can’t.” Sophie’s voice grew cold as she saw the man standing at the front door. “Jim Sterling’s here.” --- The job was going perfectly. Until it wasn't. Now everyone's in an unfamiliar role, Breanna's been captured, and it's all resting on Harry Wilson to save her.
Not An Emotion by nerdsandthelike - Rated T
Breanna: Did you hack Lockheed Martin?! For me?!!
Hardison: No, I hacked Lockheed Martin because they’re shitty people who deserve to have their corruption exposed to the world. I downloaded their R&D software and drone specs for you.
How each member of the Leverage Redemption team shows Breanna affection.
After Date Night by Grammar_Beane - Rated T
The Leverage OT3 gets patched up after date night. – – – “Does this sort of thing happen every date night?” “No,” Eliot replied, at the same time Parker said, “Yep!” “It might be becoming a theme,” Hardison admitted.
Three of Twelve Job by WhenICantWrite - Rated G
The one where Eliot fights a lion
Parker's Peculiar Polyculians by Singing_Siren - Rated T
Emotions are… fiddly. She can’t grab onto them, hold them close, and inspect them like she does the stuff she steals. What’s the difference between attraction and love? Is it sex? That seems too simple, and emotions are never simple. Sophie taught her that. But Hardison taught her that things don’t have to be complicated, that going with the flow isn't as bad as she thought it would be. “You know,” Parker starts, “before I met you all, things were so much simpler.” What was it Eliot said when they were conning those Nana-Haters? ‘Parker has a very binary sense of right and wrong.’ Before the team got together, she saw the world in black and white. Now she can see shades of gray. There are even hints of color when she closes her eyes. (or: the aftermath of the Polygeist Job, featuring a Parker who's been through enough therapy to detangle some of her feelings)
The Habeas Corpus Job by hyacinthgirlboy - Rated T
Harry knows where he stands with this crew. Breanna is their little sister. He’s just a guy who handles their contracts sometimes. And yet here he is, drinking their bourbon in their house when something had gone horribly wrong, and it had been his fault. A mark's clever fakeout causes Harry to spiral a little. Breanna and Sophie are there to clear up any misconceptions.
Drive by ziazippy5379 - Rated G
Harry is driving the girls back from a college visit.
irredeemable by idkimoutofideas - Rated T
“Take that one as collateral,” Fisher said, jerking his chin at Harry. A guard stepped forward and grabbed Harry’s arm, yanking him to his feet. Harry shouted in surprise, and Eliot rose with him, shoulder checking Harry out of the way with a growl—Harry wasn’t sure how he managed to stand, given the blood staining his jeans. Eliot offers to be the hostage when he and Harry are kidnapped together. BTHB: take me instead
the textbook definition by tziporim (ferns) - T
Breanna’s burning the digital midnight oil when Harry shows up looking like a kicked dog.
Old Friends by Singing_Siren - Rated G
“Sophie,” Parker whispers harshly, her left eye twitching an erratic rhythm. Every muscle in her body tenses up like she’s about to break into a sprint, and it takes everything in her not to give into that instinct. Ooh, she wants to get closer. But she can’t! She shouldn’t. “Cameras.” A sensation not unlike a freefall builds in her stomach as she watches the two people that just entered. Blonde hair, a familiar laugh, Maggie Collins with a boring man on her arm and an elegant dress that sparkles in the light of the chandelier. There's a beat as Sophie no doubt nudges Harry out of the way to check the screens herself. “Oh no,” she says eloquently.
Holidays by Anonymous - Rated G
Or, Breanna really likes Halloween, and Harry wants to help her have a great one.
tulips and carnations (and a knife) by oopshenangians - Rated T
Eliot doesn't want to dress up as a knight again. But, if Parker and Hardison and Breanna are all going, then he'll go too. To make sure they're safe, of course. And if he finds a way to secretly confess some feelings to Parker and Hardison along the way? Well, it's just to keep the limbo they've made. And Eliot is very happy to stay in the limbo as long as he needs. based on a Tumblr post by @batserebus over there
After the Job by JMount74 - Rated T
When the job is done there is time to rest, recoup and reflect...before the next one comes along...
won't tell anybody that you turn the world around by crazyness_overpowers - Rated G
Parker asks a question, Breanna reveals an assumption, and Eliot tries not to freak out. Then Parker and Eliot talk about what Breanna's assumption might mean. -- The conversation that happens immediately after "Hey guys? Are we a polycule?", a coda to Redemption 3.09: The Polygiest Job.

ZoLaw Fic Recs!
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
I Do - For Now, For Forever by anarchycox - Rated M
Roronoa Zoro has a problem. He wants to adopt Chopper, Chopper's temporary guardian wants Zoro to adopt Chopper. Chopper wants Zoro to adopt Chopper. But Zoro is broke and has a bit of a past and the World Government very much would prefer Zoro doesn't adopt Chopper. It seems hopeless. Trafalgar D. Water Law has a problem. He is finishing his residency and wants to stay in the East Blue as an ER doctor. Rayleigh the head of the hospital wants him to stay. The whole hospital wants him to stay. But Doflamingo wants Law back home and has pulled enough strings to fuck with his visa and immigration status and he might have to leave the East Blue. It seems hopeless. But nothing is ever hopeless when Luffy gets an idea. And two men who feel lost, will very much be found.
Panic Pixie Dream Boy by calysto1395 - Rated M
It seems everyone in Law’s life has met Zoro before Law got the chance to (or before Law bothered to try and get to know him - it only took an armed robbery and thirteen stitches). - The Train AU
here on the ship of dreams by LadyMarshmallow - Rated T
There was more to a captain than simply leading a crew.
Or Luffy offered to exercise one of his powers as the captain and further solidified a dream.
chasing tailwinds by LadyMarshmallow - Rated T
When the Polar Tang dived beneath the waves, Zoro never once thought that it would be a prelude to a personal voyage.
Between Zou and Wano, two-thousand meters under the sea, Zoro learned to fly.
Captain To Your Ship by Gildedmuse - Rated T
Listening to Strawhat-ya and Zoro-ya playing around after most of the party had died down, you would have to be some kind of idiot to miss all the double meaning behind their little game. Law decides to try and see just how innocent these two really are, and if it happens to get him an invitation into a certain swordsman's bed than all the better.
with earthy feints of sage by Missy_dee811 - Rated M
“A friend,” she said, noncommittal. “He’s in my archaeology class this semester.” “Just a friend?” “Yes,” said Robin. She eyed him curiously but didn’t comment. Zoro’s wasn’t sure how to process this. He had thought maybe they were seeing each other. It had felt safe to admire the man from afar; he was both out of sight and out of reach. But if they were just friends, that changed things. The man was out of sight, but was he out of reach?
(College AU where Zoro's a fencer who falls for his new teammate.)
Red thread by Shadow_Angel_Aqila - Rated G
“The invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This thread may stretch or intertwine, but it will never break,” Robin read aloud, slowly closing the old book, its yellowed pages smelling of dust and sea salt. Zoro never trusted that a colorful thread could lead him to his destiny.
A light to follow by RogueMushroom - Rated G
While waiting for Luffy and the rest of the crew to arrive in Wano, Zoro finds himself lost again, in his thoughts, in his emotions, in his future. Fortunately, he is lucky enough for someone to lead him back to the present Zoro's adoration for his captain + a bit of soft ZoLaw for the soul
Clueless Confession by scrawnyshrimp - Rated T
Though, times like these were enough to keep himself together, sitting down and taking drinks accompanied by the strawhat’s first mate, Roronoa Zoro-ya. or Law and Zoro have a nice conversation, in their own languages.
Distraction by roronoa_yuki - Rated T
Law has had his eye on the Strawhat's swordsman for a while, and has begun to develop feelings for him. Zoro has also taken an interest in the Heart Pirate's Captain.
An Exercise in Futility by Thio - Rated T
Law ends up growing his goatee out into a full beard. Zoro Does Not Like it so he does something about it. Only in true Straw Hat fashion, it doesn't quite go to plan.
lay down your sword by doublejoint - Rated T
Law’s full weight leans against Zoro's side, like a sword leaning against another, hilt to hilt.

Dennis Whitaker-centric Fic Recs
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
After Midnight by beautiful_warrior - Rated G
What could possibly go wrong on a midnight run to clear ones head?
let me, let me down (clean my bloody mouth) by contentment (fallinqstars) - Rated T
“Dennis, your father loves you very much.” She says. “I know.” “He just wants the best for you, and that means teaching you so that you can inherit the farm...” She smiles. “Or maybe inherit being a preacher.” Years later, Dennis disappoints them both. He turns his back on them. He doesn’t come back.
Maybe I should've taken a sandwich by beautiful_warrior - Not Rated
Whitaker should have taken better care of maintaining his blood sugar levels, luckily his two favorite attendings are always looking out for him.
Stay At Home Wife, Whitaker by BigBootyJudysBitch - Rated G
Dr.Robby: hey, heard you were offering free services? Dr.Robby: cleaning services!! Whitaker: Ik what you meant ahaha, but yea ig I am. Dr.Robby: right so I was wondering if you could come by on Sunday. Dr. Robby: I looked at the schedule, your off that day. Dr.Robby: see you then. Or Whitaker letting people use him of free cleaning and babysitting services.
Nights by beautiful_warrior - Not Rated
Whitaker is on the night shift rotation and gets unexpectedly assaulted by a drunk patient. Robby and Jack take care of him. The perfect pair of father figures and supporters for Whitaker.
Just My Lucky Day by beautiful_warrior -Not Rated
This just describes Whitaker's lucky first day as an intern in the Pitt, what could possibly go wrong. Luckily he has some pretty superstar friends that will help him get right back up again. I hope you enjoy reading.

The Pitt Fic Recs Part 2
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
Find part 1 here!
Taking Time For Yourself by NameStartsWithN - Rated T
Two patients help Mel help herself. Maybe the Pitt is home after all.
A cracked polystyrene man by Alwayssomeonebetter - Rated G
With patients still trickling in, Jack looks for Robby. Dana helps.
The Road Ahead by jumpfall - Rated T
“What are you doing here, Jack?” Leaning against the hood of Robby’s black sedan dressed in casual clothing and a pair of aviator sunglasses, Jack just smiles, wide and insincere in the way he gets when he's about to be a real asshole. “Going on a trip,” Jack says. “I don't think so.” “That's cute,” Jack says. “And denial’s not just a river in Egypt.” “I'm going on a trip. You're going home, or wherever it is you go after shift.”
child life by allapplesfall - Rated T
“I know it’s too late, because there’s nothing we can explain, but her parents don’t want her to see her sister, so I thought… If it were us. I would– I couldn’t handle it if–” A muscle in Mel’s jaw jumped. “I thought maybe she could say goodbye?” Swallowed tears burned the back of Heather’s throat. Her belly twisted. She rolled her lips between her teeth, trying to find words. “I think so, too.” (A take on the 1x08 teddy bear acquisition.)
Vital Signs by jumpfall - Rated G
“You passed out,” Dana says. “In front of the med students.”
Robby's PR nightmare by vernyhora - Rated T
Fine, he thought, adjusting his sunglasses. Let the night shift have all the heatstrokes, dehydration, and twisted ankles. They could have their adrenaline-fueled triage marathon. He’d stand out here in the sun, explain CPR to children, and pretend not to care when no one listened. or The day shift gets roped into running a community outreach event during the Pittsburgh marathon.
Bottom of the Ninth by jumpfall - Rated T
“An interdepartmental softball tournament? That sounds like fun.” “It's a bloodbath,” Perlah tells them bluntly. - Or: Robby and Dana (rightfully) pack for friendly competition like paranoid boy scouts, Perlah’s a Soccer Mom, and Mel decompresses from the stresses of the job with a little help from her chosen family.
Together Lost by Preelikeswriting - Rated M
"Robby felt like an asshole even before he hit the call button. Abbott had been crowing about his impending vacation days for weeks now. A reprieve from the madness he called it. Jack had even taken to pointing out the fire extinguishers scattered around the Pitt during handoff- just in case the place caught fire without him. So Robby knew it was shitty to call, shitty to put this- his crap on him- But Jack had made him promise. And he was trying, trying to be better. Trying to lead by example, trying not to end up on that damn rooftop- or at least trying to stay on the right side of the railing. So he hit the fucking button."
i'm feeling badly, it's not an attempt at decency by judypoovey - Rated T
The thought of helping him made her freeze up in a way she hadn't frozen up since the man who had fallen from a ladder. "Didn't he kill like four people?" she asked out loud before she could stop herself. "Six," the cop nearest her corrected. There were people out there in there waiting room who deserved their help, who needed them more, and yet here they were working to save this murderer -- "Santos, you good?" "I -- yeah --"
First, Do No Harm by jumpfall - Rated T
Abbot leans in at Robby's ear, voice gentle as Frank's ever heard it but still with the ex-military no-nonsense tone that suggests he’s giving an order he expects to be obeyed. “Robby?” “Yeah?” “Would you kindly stop teaching for a second so we can focus on saving your life?”

Trinity Santos & Dennis Whitaker Fic Recs
This list will include all ratings and tags, so read at your own discretion! :)
Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now by lightsinthefloors - Rated G
Santos is bored on her day off, Whitaker has appendicitis, and the two have a conversation about importance Or The one where Santos and Whitaker are better friends than they think
the fox and the hound by americanpie - Not Rated
A glimpse into the happenings of the temporarily permanent Santos-Whitaker living arrangement, featuring a truly star-studded cast: an empty box of Froot Loops, a human-sized dog bed rumor, the Mamma Mia! soundtrack, Bambi, and a heart-to-heart over a bag of microwave popcorn.
you're a pal and a confidant by aceanx - Rated T
"It’s only a few days into having her new roommate when she realizes they will be quite different. " Santos & Whitaker become the unlikeliest of roommates.
i cant let go when somethings broken. by contentment (fallinqstars) - Rated T
So no. Dennis doesn’t want to die, he just wants to quit without feeling like everybody is going to be disappointed in him. It’s like he’s got a gun to his head at all times. Robby’s hands around his shoulders like a vice, his mother’s lips to his broken wrist, his hands holding a dead calf. God forgive him for what he’s going to do. (Trinity forgive him, too.)
I Can Tell That We Are Gonna Be Friends by lightsinthefloors - Rated G
Whitaker gets sick after a few months of moving in with Santos and she thinks he would make a great practice patient. They learn a little more about each other and Whitaker realizes that Santos is a very good friend.
Opening Up (Letting the Day In) by AmZamReads - Rated G
Santos and Whitaker are officially roommates now and after not being able to sleep they get to know each other over beers and PB&Js
hold on, we're going home by cagedheat - Not Rated
the tired beginning of trinity and whitaker as roommates
apt. 112 by bberry005 - Rated T
Apartment 112, the number written on the wooden door in chipped golden letters. Her cousin once pointed out the humor of a doctor living in an apartment numbered with one of the world’s most common emergency phone numbers, and Trinity still doesn’t find it funny when Whitaker mentions it. Or, seven months, one apartment, and a group of emergency medicine co-workers as they become friends.
cohabitation by shortzendaya - Rated G
Small vignettes of Whitaker and Santos living together. Not in any particular order or timeline.
