watching classic trek again and i forgot how unhinged scotty is. like sure he’s emotional in general but i cannot possibly overstate how little impulse control he has when an all powerful alien entity Looks Wrong at a female crewmate. scotty will throw his entire body at the problem with no plan and no hesitation. higher brain function completely bypassed. doesn’t matter that there’s zero chance a physical attack will work, or that kirk is ordering him to stand down, or that the alien of the week ALREADY wrecked him with a range attack earlier in the episode when scotty did the exact same thing.

chivalry isn’t dead in the 23rd century but it WILL be because scotty will get his dumb ass killed by an all powerful alien robot—and then!! four seconds after he comes back to life!! he tries to lunge at nomad AGAIN and the others have to physically restrain him. i love him. i love this show.

I found the design agency that did Graphic animation playback for Star Trek Picard and saw the video where they did a large showcase of Seven's skeletal system. And it's awesome.

We always suspected and knew, even saw parts of it on the Picard show, but seeing that Seven's whole spine is reinforced tritanium is amazing.

She has so many nodes to connect on her spine and all the way to Seven's hips.

Recalling all the things done to a Borg Queen's upper torso -- I feel leads credence to the theory that Seven was a Borg Queen candidate.

And here is a really great look at Seven's internal physiology:

These are such high-fidelity scans although it missed the part where a third of Seven's skull is fully Borg tritanium.

So Seven's left-hand implant is fused to her hand. Her heart is also Borg-enhanced. Seven's neck is also reinforced. Her right knee has an implant, and as I suspected, Seven's left knee to her feet is a prosthetic and so is her right arm.

The amount of nonsense the ds9 crew puts up with from Quark is ridiculous.

A non-exhaustive list of Quark’s crimes as of s2:ep12:

1. He directly let in a bunch of criminals into the station that proceeded to kidnap the worm-portion of Dax

2. He blackmailed Julian and O’Brien into having a public tennis match, then tried to drug Julien to fix said match

3. He has been caught actively consorting with arms dealers on multiple occasions

4. He literally broke into someone’s private quarters to steal a secret box and summarily kicked off a cold case murder investigation when he got chumped for it

Nobody’s even surprised by it at this point. The earth is round, DS9 is a miserable, shambling wreck of Cardassian engineering, and Quark commits Crimes
