Selfshipping has been such a good coping skill for me, especially lately. Its helped me from being lonely, helped me undertand myself, and even helped me from succumbing from horrible illness. I'm so grateful that I've done this. I'm grateful to every single character who's helped me. I really dont like it when people dismiss it as stupid or "delusional"(maybe look up the definition of that word), because at the end of the day, its a hobby. And hobbies keep you going, hobbies teach you things, and they can be transformative. So yeah, selfshipping is great.

Luigi’s been acting weird lately-- and Bowser’s concerned. When Luigi vanishes one day without any warning, Bowser begrudgingly turns to Mario for help, meeting him at a (humorously petite) cafe in Mushroom Kingdom to discuss what’s been going on. Old rivalries die hard.

The cafe has really good liability insurance, don’t worry.

bear with me as i try to find my footing with this LOL, i am by no means a professional comic artist. i’m writing (or attempting to, at least) a comic based on my Evil Luigi AU-- read the original post/see the original art my looking thru the #my art tag on my blog! this is a bowuigi AU, so the relationship’s pre-established and Luigi, up until he ran away, had been ruling Koopa Kingdom alongside Bowser and navigating that fun new king life.

i have no idea what to tell yall to expect other than the fact that this will be very inconsistent in literally all senses of the word :’) but hey, im tryin my best-- i havent done any sort of comic in a long time and im having a lot of fun with this so far. if anything it’s good practice. right now i have at least a few pages planned out, but im not sure how quickly ill be able to draw them out, especially since i’ll be working full-time again soon. so see this as a bit of a teaser for things to come/an experiment to measure interest in the idea. :D

wxs living together is tsukasa and nene coming home after a long day of acting and collapsing on the couch on top of each other, with tsukasa giving a mumbled protest and nene telling him to shut up, to which he does, because he's just so tired and cannot muster up the energy to actually shoot something back.

wxs living together is tsukasa chiding his fellow roommates for their habits that tick him off, like rui leaving the cap of the toothpaste off after using it, emu not keeping her shoes on the rack, and nene leaving that one fork or glass in the sink.

wxs living together is emu and tsukasa designing a chore schedule, which they keep on the fridge with magnets. it's nene complying whilst knowing that writing up such a thing is pointless (hell, it'll be gone within a week) when the four of them are under the same roof.

wxs living together is emu bringing home an entire cake for absolutely no reason other than the fact that she wanted to share a cake with her best friends, and then the four of them eating its leftovers for breakfast the next morning despite tsukasa's scolding.

wxs living together is tsukasa coming home very late one night to rui passed out over various blueprints, his pen falling out of his grip. it's tsukasa muttering to himself, fondly exasperated, as he cleans up their shared area and then shortly waking him up with a hushed whisper and leading a very dazed rui to sleep in his bed instead of on a desk.

wxs living together is rui and nene sitting in comfortable silence in the kitchen together at 3 am with hot mugs of tea in their hands when sleep is not in their favour.

wxs living together is emu and nene sharing a room with two separate beds, but emu finding her way to nene's anyway because her bed just feels a bit too empty and well, there's enough space on nene's to spare.

wxs living together is tsukasa leaving his shared room with rui at the crack of dawn to make breakfast because he did not get a wink of sleep and there's a specific recipe he discovered that he is itching to try a hand at. it's emu soon following after in high spirits, peering over tsukasa's shoulder on tip toes to see what he's cooking. it's nene and rui stumbling out of their rooms an hour or more later while the table is being set, yawning and sleep still heavy in their eyes.

wxs living together is "i love you" being exchanged ever so naturally, over goodbyes at the front door, conversations through the phone, the cracking of eggs over sizzling oil, offerings of sweet treats bought from the store across the street, stirring more than one mug of tea and kisses atop heads as the moon rises and the night grows cold.

but they're together, so they cannot help but feel so, so warm.

When I first started watching Rick and Morty as a middle schooler one of the first things I noticed that I admired about the show is the stuttering that both Rick and Morty have. It sounds accurate to what it's like to have a speech impediment entirely. That little detail about them was so special to me.

what makes Kevin Day/James Rhemann truly work? i am. fascinated. need legit excuses to foam at the mouth for them.

in canon: absolutely nothing at all

in this fic specifically: rhemann has been trying to convince the usc board to fund the trojans' exy team as much as it funds the football team for about as long as he's been a coach at usc, and one of the first thing kevins offers upon visiting is to help him achieve that goal. kevin specifically offers to help by talking to the board, which rhemann finds amusing if a little preposterous because he knew kayleigh once and it sounds like the kind of nonsensical proposal she'd make based on her name alone. he only really takes kevin's word for it once coach wymack vouches that indeed kevin managed to convince the entire psu board to sign on neil on the sole promise that kevin would make him court, which is truly nothing but at this point in his career it might be the last hope he has. rhemann and kevin (and jeremy) spend a lot of time together drafting a proposal to the university and going over the trojans' finances, which puts them at close contact, sometimes well into the night, alone, with kevin day in glasses,

more so i think it's probably to me the dynamic of. first of all hope. rhemann is closer to retiring than he cares to admit and he'd lost all hope of seeing the trojans achieve their full potential during his career, and kevin acts both as a balm to that and a last resort that Feels like what rhemann was missing this entire time. on a more intimate level i made rhemann and kayleigh friends once; he was never in love with her but he spent a non negligible amount of time living in her shadows as a fellow defenseman, and the age difference aside kevin makes him feel just as uncertain about the future as kayleigh had, once, and the similarities astound him. there's also a little bit of it being years since rhemann has last actually played exy: i made him an ex-goalie who retired peacefully and gracefully to being a coach! his career wasn't much to look at so he's very surprised once kevin actually remembers that rhemann played and for what team, remembers his stats and his successes and failures and thinks that if rhemann had stayed on track and worked harder he might have been able to make it as a player. i Really wanted to have a scene where kevin convinces c rhemann to play with him at least for a little bit even though it's obvious that on a shootout against the best striker in the league kevin is wiping the floor with him, and i think that scene is a turning point for both of them because it establishes a little bit of trust and a little bit of wonder and hopefully a lot of unresolved sexual tension

I recently rewatched gravity falls like im sure everyone else has these past couple months. apparently my partner had never seen it despite us both being the prime demographic at time of airing. they enjoyed it so much we were both hurt there was no more.

we both understand why there can never be a season 3 but the bittersweet "summer is over and we can never come back here" hit more like 500 freight trucks straight to the heart than I remembered...

i won't lie to you all, i'm still kind of obsessed with what chris nolan said at the oscars about how films have only been around for ~100 years, how they are still a very new art form, and how we have so much left to do and explore with them. imagine being in only the 1st century of painting, or writing, or sculpture. that's where we are with movies, and that blows my mind a little bit, to be quite honest.

so, almost a year ago - I actually started selfshipping with THIS red, but the twist is that he's a creepypasta equivalent for pokemon! or pokepasta I should say. keep in mind this isn't jaide :3 this is emme! she's only exclusive to the pokepasta media

this red design was taken from frid.ay nigh.t funki.n's community created mod named hypno's lullaby which basically revives the classic "scary" stories you'd hear back in the day but they turned it into a rhythm HORROR game ALSKAKKEKEKAA (if you know fri.day n.ight fun.kin then you probably know how this game could look like. it's so high quality for something that's community created.)
