omg yes, November 16, 2023! this was the day I was most anxious for 😭

the moon was in Sagittarius (in Mula), but this day was significant on my radar because Mars JUST entered Scorpio that day as well.

Mars has been a very important planet to watch during football season in regards to injuries, especially when it enters Aries/Scorpio. (Mars actually entered Aries this month, on June 1st! I urge everyone to take a look at their car even if nothing is wrong-- please be mindful of accidents, cuts, burns, etc!)

anyway, any planet entering a water sign affects Joe a bit differently since it’s a trinal aspect, but Mars in Scorpio would be directly affecting his moon + sun

and this transit reminded me a lot of December 5, 2021. that day Mars had also just entered Scorpio (and the moon was also in Mula!) and on this day, he dislocated a finger on his throwing hand. i believe it was his pinky ?

so i was afraid he would get injured during that Mars shift and well...

i know two instances hardly makes a pattern, but Mars takes about a year/year and a half to travel through the entire zodiac. hurting the same hand on the same transit twice is still a great 'coincidence'.

this totally changes my perspective on his college days. i know he's spoken about his struggles during this time, but everything seems so understated now when i'm finally seeing these circumstances.

December 1st — Moon Enters Scorpio and Neptune Goes Direct

Now, when Neptune’s Retrograde, this causes veils to be lifted and a few unsavory reality checks to hit you. So, during the time he was retrograde, things like the sleeping state/somnia cycles, altered states of mind including but not limited to: being high, drinking, catatonia, etc. Were all things many of us might've been struggling with. When he's asleep those monsters under your bed come out to play. However, now that Poseidon's clocked back in again, we may be able to catch those precious Z's we've been missing out on. Temperance and moderation regarding spirits [libations not entities, lol] could be more in check for you, and synchronicities from the universe could be harassing you incessantly now. Don't be surprised if soulmate stuff [including your friends] come about now that Neptune's energy is back to normal.

December 4th — Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius

This shit right here. Right here this shit. This behemoth celestial occurrence has probably been running roughshod over you all already. Collectively, we’re likely feeling tired, dehydrated, moody, and this weird little thing with your libido might be overactive. More than a few of you might’ve noticed tensions high at work, customers or clients sounding agitated or patience running thin. Don’t try to run from it and you’re certainly not alone. Just remember you are still in control of your decisions and how you respond to what comes at you. Everything is a choice and Sag/Jupiter is the ruler of wisdom. December 13th — Mars Enters Sagittarius

Mars enters the jolly but philosophical sign of the Archer for the next six weeks. Get ready to get a cosmic injection of thrills and ragers. Seriously, Mars in this sign is what Dreamworks action/adventure films are made of. You might find yourself fueled by wanderlust and passion. You might even download Duo-Lingo and try your hand at that foreign language you’ve always wanted to learn. Just be mindful not to be too impulsive. December 19th — Venus Retrograde in Capricorn and Chiron Direct

Venus takes a sabbatical in the Earthy and Saturnian sign of the seagoat. During this time, you’ll find that there will be a bit of internalization of everything the planet stands for. Themes tend to play out inwardly and affect psychological states. Therefore, expect matters related to the five senses, financial and material possessions, love, fertility in the literal and figurative senses, harmony and justice, aesthetics, relationships, and negotiations to be at the core of your thoughts. However, this is also a time to use discernment [which may be easier since Saturn is all about rationalization as apposed to emotion]. Sense and sensibility. So this is the only time of the year that the sun actually stops it’s movement northward and or southward in our sky. It makes sense that time is literally stopped when Father time, AKA, Saturn starts running the show. Make that wishlist for 2022 because Father Karma will be blessing us with what we discipline ourselves with/focus on moving forward. The work we’ve done or have been doing we’ll be reaping the rewards for. In addition, what you haven’t been taking care of or what you’ve neglected might catch up to you so take care to tighten up wherever you’ve been slacking. Huge activations in consciousness. Turn your focus towards our long term goals, career, public image and prestige. 10th House things, which Saturn/Cap rule.

December 23rd — Saturn Square’s Uranus

This time brings restrictive change or unexpected changes. Can be a frustrating time when these two outer planets are at odds. Stay open minded. Stay patient and flexible, what may seem like a challenge at first might actually be an opportunity cloaked as a ‘headache’. Use this time to rid yourself of things that are limiting you in life. Delete those numbers. Mute/block/restrict/unfollow whoever you have to. You may also realize what bad habits or outdated belief systems are blocking your forward progression. Don’t force change- just try to adapt. This time in particular isn’t the time to overreact to or resist things that come at you. December 25th — Venus Conjunct Pluto

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! During what should be a merry time, we have Venus retrograde in Capricorn conjuncting transformative Pluto for the third and final time [there will also be a conjunction between these two planets on Dec 3rd and 11th.] Those of you with this natal placement might know exactly what to expect >:). For the rest of you, expect intense and obsessive feelings to come to the forefront, especially in matters regarding love. There can be a strong boost in the sex drive but some clinginess and possessiveness as well coming from or being projected onto you. Upcoming Venus retrograde in Capricorn and how it will affect YOU.

Ok, so Venus retrograde isn’t completely rare but it happens every 18ish months and the main goal is to REVIEW YOUR RELATIONSHIPS. It’s a time for PAUSE, REFLECT, and REVIEW. This retrograde will be in Capricorn. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. The Planet of restrictions, lessons, and KARMA.

Venus will preshadow starting December 1-18th, 2021, go retrograde in Capricorn on Dec 19th, 2021 at 26°- Jan 30th, 2021, and post shadow till March 6th, 2021.

During the retrograde, the biggest aspects Venus will make is (all by a tight less than 3° orb):

-conjunct Capricorn Pluto, Sun, and Moon

-inconjunct Aquarius Jupiter, Sun, and Saturn

-trine Taurus Uranus

-square Aries Chiron

If you have natal placements in any Cardinal sign (Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, and Libra), OR Aquarius and Taurus at 10°- 29°, you will be most affected by this retrograde. If you have Venus retrograde in your natal chart, it may cause the energy to be lessened because you already embody some of that energy.

So, what’s this mean for you? Well, as a collective there is some things you should avoid during a Venus retrograde to prevent disaster in your life. Does this mean you have to? No. Live your life! However, keep in mind this retrograde is about karmic lessons and if you do decide to still go through with them, you may be repeating karmic cycles that could end up in either disaster or hard lessons that hopefully you learn from.

What should you not do during Venus retrograde:

1. DO NOT BEGIN A NEW RELATIONSHIP. These relationships will be karmic in nature. You won’t realize it at first, but eventually it will show its ugly face. Dating will not work out during this time.

2. DO NOT RECONCILE OLD RELATIONSHIPS. This will repeat old karmic cycles that we all know we need to break and learn from. Just don’t do it! Prepare for exes to start coming back in your life at this time though. No matter how good some of the relationship was, including the sex, don’t do it!

3. DO NOT PLAN ANY WEDDINGS DURING THIS TIME. If you’re scheduled to be married during the dates of this retrograde and full on trust in the universe and it’s energy, reschedule it. If you still want to continue a wedding during this time, be prepared for some disasters. I would fully expect the relationship with your partner to come to light and some situations may make you want to rethink your marriage.

What Venus in Capricorn Retrograde can manifest in relationships:

-If either you or your partner have any skeletons in the closet, it will be revealed during this time. This is where past karma comes in to play. If you haven’t been entirely truthful, hidden things, kept demons inside, have been cheating, light will be shined upon it. Descendant at 29° Scorpio - Society is prepping to go through massive transformation. An ending. Endings are subsequently a new beginning; a change.

Venus (the ruler) is at 29° Scorpio, conjunct the Descendant - Signifying literal people, society and values. Venus rules the Descendant (7th). So a conjunction just indicates that the descendant has more literal meaning and implications.

Negativity has formulated within our structures, systems & governments (Pluto in Capricorn). During this time, it will express through our government, new forms of structure and our authorities (Neptune in the 10th).

Date these themes could fully materialize:

January 25th, 2021. An 89% illuminated Waxing Gibbous Moon exactly opposes the position of this solar eclipse. We will likely see the materialization of this eclipse’s themes at that time. (the moon then reaches full on the 28th)

General Themes

- Debt. During this time people or society could be in extreme debt or lack. On the other hand, society or people you know could be on the brink of paying off their debt. or--on the negative polarity--the brink of bankruptcy. This is not just for the individual, this is mostly the case for society as a whole.

How it will affect Unconscious People. (the majority)

Uranus retrograde conjunct Lilith in taurus. We will tend to see the dark side of attachments that people have to resources during this time. Low vibe people may tend to act impulsively on their needs or desires with no regard to morality. And Uranus retrograde in taurus indicates a likely dependence on societal structures for sustenance.

Instead of expressing their frustrations, or demanding innovation. Gullible or unconscious people (the majority), will be submitting to plutonian regulations. This is because these regulations are framed as being positive. And are imposed rather than suggested.

They will be frustrated but nonetheless the majority will attempt to follow regulations exceptionally well and strictly. Rather than doing things differently, or expressing the intense urge to find independence, they will attempt to follow rules, regulations and laws very well during this time (As indicated by Uranus Retrograde). In hopes that by doing so, it will bring about the change that they desire.

Instead of embodying the change they want, the majority will do the exact opposite. Rely on structures for guidance. All in the hopes to bring them changes and to receive permission to prosper once more.
