Honestly it all depends on the organs and what does the human half would have. Like for a example the human section just has an extra large heart and set of lungs, with a very long oesophagus passing through it to the horse part that contains all the digestive organs, liver, etc etc. Horses are flexible and able to twist their body pretty well, but a centaur especially one in active battle is a different subject.

I can kinda envision centaurs with rudimentary secondary brains within the horse part, using sensory input to guide the legs and help see whats coming. While your shooting and turning, your lower body essentially is moving on its own. Of course that wouldn't fix the issue with the spine not being able to turn and twist like around the battlefield, most likely would be taxing on them cause they can't rotate and twist like how a horseback rider could(again MAYBE I'm not completely certain, im thinking long and hard on how their body would function). They would make up for it with them being able to use higher poundage bows.

You can also instead switch the bow into a secondary weapon, while their main could be a glaive, a Lance, or a spear with a shield.

Tldr: big ass bows for long to mid range, active up close battles could be a one of the three i mentioned.
