Given this is a very dramatic title ~ apologies to all my lovely Libras out there ~ I will be talking about the struggles that people wit libra placements go through.

Let's start off with the perception of libra. These people are often viewed as being more superficial, however this is often due to people taking them at face value. They barely see what is beneath the surface. I put this down to Venus being the ruler of Libra. People often project their own relationship withy vanity onto them.

I will say this goes to all libra placements, but this is especially an issue for Libra rising, as this dictates how they are bering perceived.

Libra's are represented by the scales, this is because they are here to bring balance to the human experience. They are incredible mediators. They Like to consider everything before making decisions, perhaps they don't take on as extreme views as other because they can see both sides of an argument. This often gives them an unfair reputation of being indecisive or 'wishy washy'. In reality these people value being fair.

They can have a very altruistic nature about them, though once again they get a rep for being self absorbed. Not to say some undeveloped Libras aren't however. They want to create harmony around them, you can see how Venus comes into play here, and to have harmony you need balance ~ the scales.

Libras are air signs, however they dot get as much credit as the other sings that share their element, Aquarius and Gemini, for their intellect. I have seen this is because they are sometimes less forthcoming about what they know. Especially until they decide the right way to explain it. They want to present it right and well in a concise order/ with good reasoning.

Often Libras can become a wolf in's sheep's clothing, choosing to allow others to underestimate them.

Going back to the Libra being represented at the scales, I want to write on this is more of an esoteric sense. Libra as a sign is the balance between the material and the spiritual plane.

Stay with me... lets look at the signs each side of Libra...

You have virgo before ~ which is all about analysing the details of information that is in front of them. They look at a situation and break it down into little pieces. Virgo is also an earth sign, meaning they are very connected to they physicality of things, also making them incredibly grounded individuals.

Then you have scorpio afterwards ~ Scorpio is all about digging beneath the surface of things. Going much deeper, looking sag what is behind the things we can see with out eyes. It's all about intuition, noticing the unseen, unheard, unsaid. Remember Scorpio is opposite taurus which rules over the senses - scorpio is the 6th sense.

Going back to Libra - it's the balance between, considering both sides. Finding a balance between the physical and the spiritual. The logical and the intuitive. They are coming from both sides. This is often where their intellect differs from that of Gemini or Aquarius. This also helps us see why they prefer to be in their own heads figuring things out. There is so much going on up there we don't see and they don't share.

Aries exalts the king(sun).Libra exalts the outcast(saturn).Aries is a loyal soldier who'll protect the power of a sovereign king.Libra is a lawyer who looks into the laws of the king, holds the king accountable & ensures the king is just and fair in his dealings.

Libras are here to question the laws of the king & defend the underprivileged from oppression/exploitation. If the king ain't just then he loses the right and privilege of ruling.

Libras excel as lawyers and peace activists and defenders of the underprivileged. Mahatma Gandhi the most prominent peace activist is libra rising. Their ruler Venus exalts in pisces in the 6th house which can represent the underprivileged or people whom others look down at.

And their ruler Venus also is in domicile in taurus in the 8th house. Domicile as in feeling at home - it's a familiar territory. The 8th house emotionally relies on others. They're used to relying on others emotionally. This is where the "codependent" pop astro stereotype comes from.

Mars rules 7h (relationships) and 2h (self worth). Libras struggle to find self worth outside relationships but their relationships can still be filled with conflicts (especially if they're born at daytime when Mars is the out of sect malefic).

They have sagittarius in the 3rd house. Sagittarius isn't really a sign that fits the 3rd house. The 3rd house at its worst is like a school playground where younger or weaker kids get bullied. Not really a place for Sagittarian wisdom or voice of reason (Jupiter stabilizes). Libras attempt to be the voice of reason, stability and wisdom in places where people aren't ready to listen to said wisdom. Amongst all the bickering and bullying no one cares about fairness or morals.

They have capricorn and aquarius in the 4th and 5th houses respectively. Family is likely to be a source of restriction and suffering, especially if they're born at night when saturn is the out of sect malefic. They were inhibited from expressing themselves and their inner child was repressed by the disciplinary adults.

The "pleaser" stereotype comes from here. They were told from a young age that it's bad to express their unique self. Even after they grow up an inner critic tells them that expressing their authenticity is bad and upsets other people. Virgo 12h - inner critic is the hidden enemy.

Aquarius in the chart is what you wish for.Libras wish for 5h stuff-letting the inner child play/be creative.When they express their creativity,they do it unconventionally,structurally,slowly-aqua/saturn way. They have the moon ruling 10h,& it exalts in taurus(their 8h)so accepting help from others does bring them to higher status. Also they can achieve a lot thru creativity bc saturn-5h ruler-exalts(status)in 1h. Check the condition of saturn also to see if they can excel in an artistic pursuit.

Yes, they're likely to prefer being in a relationship over being alone. Being alone can make them feel lost or not themselves. The house of aloneness is the 12th house, Venus debilitates in their 12h in Virgo. Relationships help them know themselves and face their inner darkness and inner shadows, remember that Venus - relationship indicator - rules their 1h AND 8h!

The dark side of themselves becomes accessible through emotional intimacy with a partner. You may call it projection if you wish. But to them it is what it is. The other person mirrors them and exposes them to parts of themselves which they've never known. Also their 7H ruler exalts in their 4h (Mars in capricorn) and 4h also represents repressed inner emotions.

Even while looking for an ideal relationship, libras have to cultivate intimacy with themselves. Creativity helps them achieve this intimacy with oneself. They should explore what they desire, what they want from a partner. Usually their early relationships end with sudden separation for them - Mars severs ties. But after they have mastered their emotions (4h in capricorn so it takes time), relationships get smoother and easier.

Libras are late bloomers as saturn exalts in their sign, and Venus doesn't like rushing anyway. They emerge slowly and grow into a charismatic, magnetic personality once they heal from inner conditioning of family (that they can't express themselves etc).

Once they stop worrying about what's expected of them and learn by themselves how to act and when to act according to their own judgment, they become powerful. It's not like the power of Mars - it's the soft, slow power of Venus, and it can be as ruthless as Mars (remember saturn exalts here) - you'd be very wrong to underestimate it.

It’s looking like relief of some kind will happen this month. This could be from a self created problem that you may have brought up with anxiety, maybe there has been lack of communication or misunderstanding that has brought uncertainty to you or will during the month.

I really enjoy seeing this card in reverse because for me, this is often the release of something that has been weighing on your shoulders heavily.

I’m also seeing laughter, so if anything absurd happens just think “if you don’t laugh you’ll cry”. So try and find ways to laugh. Watch comedy shows, chat with a silly pal.
