it’s so funny how as soon as I start complaining is when things start going my way 😭😭 like not even 15 mins have passed & this statefarm man finally message me about the question I had & calling me tomorrow. 😭

y’all be honest. should i just go with my gut & accept the other option (the non-profit) or should i wait for his call & then make a decision? (bc now i have a feeling that my intern experience is gonna be similar to how they deal with this situation🧍🏾‍♀️)

where should i intern this school year?

some added information:

the statefarm worker i interviewed with said they’re office is busy & is lowkey understaffed but it is way closer to my school than the non-profit place & it might be less stressful bc i don’t have to deal with the emotional weight of dealing with residents in the facility. another con is that idk what amount i’m getting paid as of yet (pretty sure its just $12-15 per hour, but i’ll message to confirm)

the 2 issues i have with the non-profit would be if it would be something beneficial to see on my resume, especially when i don’t see myself staying in that type of organization. & part of the job being me having to drive residents at the shelter to doctors appointments etc etc & i suck at driving with other ppl in my car idkw😭. a pro would be that i only work 10 hours a week so like i wont be there long if i do 2 hours every work day so that would be easier on my schedule.
