Not done with Wrath of the Triple Goddess yet, but I’ve see that there is negative reviews already and people nervous to read it because of that. Here’s my two cents:

The college rec letter trilogy isn’t supposed to be the next masterpiece. It’s supposed to be that fanfic you read to get a little more Percabeth and a little more original trio. It’s supposed to be fun, not high stakes world ending. It’s supposed to be a “thank you here’s some nostalgia” from Rick for sticking with him this long.

And frankly, Rick’s already flat out said it’s an “I told you so” to Disney to show them that, yes, he has a very large following that will eat up any Percy Jackson book he puts out.

Yeah, it’s not as epic as BotL or TLO or HoH. It’s not a tragedy like TTC or TBM. There’s not going to be huge sacrifices like MoA or ToN. But it’s not utter garbage either. If you like Percy or Annabeth or Grover or all three of them, you can and will have a fun time reading this.

So read it. Enjoy it. I’m 2/3 done and it’s a fun read. Been posting as I go and noting all the funny stuff I liked.
