“Seokmin! Seokmin— ah! It’s raining so much, put me down!”

Seokmin just laughs, gripping onto the backs of your thighs tighter as he runs out onto the street, the rain getting into his eyes and making him scrunch them up at the sky.

“The heavens are communicating with us, Y/N!” he cries, finally lowering you down once he gets to the empty road, raising his hands upwards with his head tilted back. “How can we ignore this wonderful sign?”

“Seokmin, it’s raining,” you cry back, but you’re laughing, because his fluffy hair is slowly becoming plastered to his forehead but he’s grinning, spinning around like it’s the best thing in the world. “And it’s the middle of the night! We’re going to catch a cold!”

Seokmin lowers his arms and beams. “Colds can come again and again, but a moment like this? This is a once in a lifetime thing, you can’t miss this!”

You gesture to the empty street, rain beating down on the cars. “What, rain? We get rain every year, Seokmin.”

He smiles, shakes his head, and backsteps so he’s further away from you. “No, this!”

Then he’s running towards you, beaming, before sweeping you into his arms and dipping you down for a sweet, soft, rain-blessed kiss.

The rain is harder than ever, and your clothes are stuck to your skin, but Seokmin’s lips are warm on yours as he pulls you in by the waist and just kisses you harder, harder than the sound of the rain, harder than the tarmac under your socked feet. 

“I love you,” he murmurs, gentle and quiet and yet still louder than your thumping heart. “So much.”

“I love you too,” you smile, watching the droplets glittering on his lashes with every blink. “More than you know.”

Seokmin grins, brighter than the sun. “I love you!” he yells out suddenly, head tilted back, making you laugh. “I love Y/N more than anything! You’re my everything and I’ll love you forever!”

You’re laughing, laughing so much that it drowns out the sound of the rain. “Oh, come here, you,” you say, pulling him closer again.

And yes, maybe you’ll both be sick tomorrow, but as you take his face into your hands and pull him in for another kiss, you think that Seokmin was right.

Am I the only one who felt left hanging? We BEEN knew it didn't make sense, but what's your POINT, exactly? I LOVE that Les' language changes (the way his voice CRACKS and goes so TINY, oml)--he asked Lou in 1973 if he was "ill," and if something had happened TO him; so as to not spook/trigger or blame him--but he can ask more candidly now in a (relatively) "healthier" 2024 if Lou tried to hurt/kill himself; and get a more candid/honest answer. CLOSURE, y'all, I'm gonna cry.

GOOOOOOD. Don't EVER forget your daughter. Y'all need to have a Claudia Memorial; to KEEP remembering her, as she was in all her vampiric splendour, the good times AND the bad times.

Amalgamate Chapter 21 Previews :D

Hey y'all!! DoctorHaifisch here! Sorry the new chapter is taking so long T-T On top of all the convention stuff, plus the time it took to write the Amalgamate side story The Ones Who Don't Speak, the next chapter is also just really, really dense (as in, it contains a lot of material, not dense as in "stupid" lmao). I also ran into some issues where I liked the scenes, but not the order they all happened in, which turned into me playing some kinda weird Jenga game with the whole chapter. I'm making really good progress, I'm just doing A LOT of editing (and maybe being more of a perfectionist than usual since these are the final chapters)

But to give you all another taste of what's to come (very soon!), here are some snippets from chapter 21 (under the cut for those who prefer to avoid previews). Those of you who are on the Amalgamate Discord server will have already seen the first two, but the third one's new ^^

This first snippet is more lighthearted, since I figure after chapter 20, we could all use some humor ;_;

Honestly he doesn’t strike me as a pet person…at all. Ahahah. But you know what? He’d definitely have some fancy fish in the hallway of your guys’ house. He’d want to style the decorations, pick the fish and fuss over which color they should be. It would be kinda cute. Chunkz is a busy man and I feel like he wouldn’t have any energy to also take care of another pet, but fish would be the perfect option to liven things up a bit. You wouldn’t mind either, fish are fish. Just neutral swimming-dudes, besides they do look good in a house. Also imagine getting like some funny looking fish and then naming them together, like there’d be a Chunkz and a y/n j swimming tgthr it would be fucking hilarious.

Oh my god. I know a guineapig person when I see one. As a piggy owner I can tell you that Kenny would definitely be the perfect match. Just imagine you get a guineapig and at first he’s like questioning your choices, but after one cuddling session he’d get the hype. I swear to god he’d love having a lil piggy. Imagine him coming back home after a long day of training, getting out the guinepig and laying it on his chest. The lil guy lays down, stretches out into a long sausage (that’s what they do when they’re relaxed) and the two just lay down, chilling while Kenny strokes the lil guys head. Nah I swear this is 100% the right pet choice. Kenny = guineapig man.

Niko

Now we know Niko likes cats and he had Lil Reng, but for some reason I feel like if he were to get a pet it would be a turtle. Yes a turtle. Why? Because. It’s such a Niko thing, like he’d definitely have something unique and unusual, probably not a lizard cause those things can be scary but a turtle? So chill and cute and they live like forever. He’d definitely make an Instagram account and buy little hats and little things he can place on its shell for photos. Plus he doesn’t have to fuss around over it too much, turtles don’t really play so he wouldn’t have to worry about being busy and not be able to spend time w it 24/7.

AJ

I think this would be a surprising one. After a little thought I came to the conclusion that AJ’s perfect pet would be a parrot. HEAR ME OUT! Like remember Maverick from Logan Paul and how fucking aggressive and loud he was? That would be AJ’s pet ahahahah. Like there would be sweet moments between them, like AJ would be editing videos and the lil birdy would cuddle up in the hood of his sweater or maybe like sit on his shoulder. But most of the time it would just be a crazy duo. The parrot yelling through the house while AJ yells back for him to be quiet because he’s filming a video. AJ would definitely talk to the parrot like he would to a person. He’d also run around the house trying to hide from the cray-cray bird while it screamed and chased him around. Basically it would be chaotic but very wholesome.

Sharky

Sharky’s cuddly, cute and sweet and he’d have a pet just like him. A bunnyyyy. Tell me im wrong like imagine him building a little corner just for the bunny and designing it and making it cozy and spacious and just fussing over his lil guuuyyyy. It’d be perfect cause bunnies are active and chill at the same time, like imagine Sharky going out into the garden and letting him run around, spin and flip in the grass while he laughed and watched how funny it looked. And then inside on a rainy day he’d lay on the couch, scrolling through his phone while the bunny warmed up in the front pocket of his hoodie. Jesus this would be sooooooo cute oml I’m crying.

The new UrbanSPOOK episode sure was something huh? I wanna talk about a few things (there's a lot so bear with me)

SPOILERS AHEAD FOR URBANSPOOK: HELL (don't worry I wont display any of the paintings or images from the episodes)

First thing I wanna talk about is Mona and Bill eating some of their victims. I actually had this theory at some point that they were eating people because of Sean. His painting was "The Man In The Pipes", so at first I assumed he was stuffed down a pipe in the home, but then FAMILY was uploaded, alongside the painting of the supposed fetus shoved down Paul's throat. Im too lazy to check, but if I remember right, the painting's name was scribbled out except for the word "pipe" or something like that. I know pipe was in there at some point. Maybe the pipes Sean's painting was referring to was their esophagus, since the fetus's painting was referring to Paul's windpipe bc that's how he died. Plus, Sean's painting has more red than anything, just like the fetus painting did. We've seen the painter (Mona or Bill, whoever is making the paintings...probably Mona) would most likely have drawn out the pipe since she LOVES her detail in paintings.

Next thing is how much better this episode was compared to previous ones. The only bad thing in the new episode was the bucket, but besides that there weren't really any bad themes. I watched the new episode through Baz's reaction video, and he even showed a screenshot of Urban saying he would make this and episode 10 better than the previous episodes, so good on him!! And the new episode wasn't just theme-wise better, it was VISUALLY better too. The video footage style was amazing, and don't get me started on the last part where they went into Tina's house for the wellness check and caught the killers. Also major props to Tina's voice actress in this, she did AMAZING. She screamed her heart out at the last part, good lord 😭

A smaller part, but I wanna mention how this episode had one of the scariest parts yet I've seen in the whole series. At the end of the episode where Mona has her hands raised because of the cop, she's just...standing there. Neither of them speak after a moment, and the only sound is Tina's screams. Then a distorted smile can be seen on the screen...Mona is just staring at the cop with a smile. She doesn't care that Bill is dead. She doesn't care about Tina's screams. She's smiling like she didnt do anything. And she isnt moving a single muscle. That smile is the last thing Tina ever saw. Mona is happy and has no regrets.

Another thing I want to mention is how Bill Collins was one of the killers. We already knew that because of the morse code thingy from PIGS, but that raises some questions. 1: Where the hell is Jack Stryker?? For those who don't know, Im talking about Tina's boyfriend from WITNESS that randomly went missing while Tina and Flora were getting attacked. He had a painting, so he's probably dead and/or the painters ate him. 2: Who was the fourth/third face in the Collin's photo montage? In LIGHTHOUSE, we find out Bill Collins went missing, his family was found dead yada yada. I don't remember if Bill Collin's had three or four other family members, but ther was another photo amongst the others that probably shouldn't have been there. The baby was dead, yes, but she was found in the attic and not in the mush barrel with the rest of her family. Which means one of those photos is probably not Bill and another victim maybe?? 3: What's his motive? Clearly he had to have snapped or something to go kill a bunch of people. He's probably the reason all the cops and investigators related to the case died (Sean, Sarah, Ian, etc). As we've seen, Bill acted in a feral-like state while working with Mona, him barking while helping her in the murders and roaring at the cop in the video footage before being shot. So what exactly is his motive?? Maybe Mona will say in episode 10 during the trial or we'll just never know. I will say this, when it showed his human picture in LIGHTHOUSE after stating he went missing, it was the only photo that didnt look...real. It looked more like a drawing than an actual photo like all the other ones. Bill was clearly as dangerous as Mona, but why did he decide to work with Mona, especially after his family died? Maybe it was a last resort and Mona agreed to it? (but they probably teamed up with Fred too to get drugs from him, but we all saw how that turned out) So why did Mona decide to let Bill work with her, and why did Bill want to work with Mona? I really wanna know this in episode ten.

There are a few things Im still wondering. We don't know how some of the victims died and Im actually REALLY curious about that. Ian, Jimmy (who I think may be the fourth photo found by the Collin's flesh barrel), Sean (yeah I said earlier I predicted they ate him but we don't know how he died), the two girls in the lighthouse (I forgot their names but Im too lazy to check 🤯), and some of the victims found in the new episode inside of the Paint Factory. Maybe Mona will reveal how she killed them?? Maybe not?? Idk I guess we just have to wait for it to play out

Currently Unnamed Story Chapter 1:

“Mikey!!” Raph shouted to the limp body of his brother. The fight with Meat Sweats had led to Mikey getting thrown into a freezer with a huge gash on his side. The only reason they were getting him now was because this go around the fight was INTENSE.

Leo slid to his knees, grabbing his little brother’s wrist and checking for a pulse. Donnie stood behind him, goggles on his face.

“I found it! He’s alive, but it’s very faint. We need to get to the lair NOW.” He exclaimed as he pulled out his ōdachi and created a portal straight to the medbay. They all rushed through, too worried to noticing the broken kusari-fundo that lay under Mikey.

The portal opened into the medbay. Raph set down Mikey’s limp body on one of the cots in the medbay while Leo rushed to grab all the things he would need, getting the small orange turtle set up with an IV and a heart monitor.

“Raph, can you get me a blanket?” Leo says, inspecting Mikey for anything severely wrong. Raph gave him a nod of affirmation and rushed off to grab it. After he had left Leo turned to Donnie. Quietly, he whispered “There’s something weird going on… the gash that he had is gone.” Leo pulled Donnie over to the side where the gash was.

Donnie let out a worried whine as he whispered back to Leo “His mystic levels are off the charts too, what happened in that freezer?”

“There’s nothing we can find out for now, we have to wait till he wakes up.”

It was midnight when Mikey finally woke up. But it was not anything they had expected to happen.

Raph said that he was taking the first shift with Mikey and ushered Donnie and Leo to their respective rooms, where they were hopefully asleep for the time being.

Raph, to put it lightly, was exhausted. He was struggling to his head up. He considered grabbing one of his energy drinks or the twin’s stash of coffee, but he didn’t want to leave the youngest alone.

As the hours dragged on his eyes drifted closed. He ended up dozed for a couple minutes before a blood curdling scream filled the medbay.

Raph shot up, eyes darting around the room before they fell onto Mikey.

“Oh dear god…” Raph thought, struck by panic as his little brother was writhing on the cot as a flame shot up from his mouth.

Leo rushed into the room, shortly followed by Donnie. Rushing to his brother’s side, Leo grabbed Mikey, trying to keep him from thrashing anymore.

“Don!” Leo shouted to Donnie, and within a second he was next to the second oldest, goggles on his face.

“Good Galileo…” He murmured before running to grab a sedative.

the fimmies' coachella perf was... certainly something. let me scream about the new song hot & fun for second before continuing BECASHHRHH THE WAY SSAMU CAME IN WITH HER IT GIRL ENERGY I DIED THIS IS SOOOOO HER SONG ISTG THE CHORUS WHERE SHE WAS IN THE CENTER 1-800-HOT AND FUNNNNNNN UNDER THE RED LIGHT SHE ATE THIS SHIT UPPPPP she was so into the perf i loved her energy and she sounded insane. she was deffo feeling herself the most imo my bae.

aaaanyways on with the perf in general i mean you CAN see improvement on the live singing department and they have been preparing for two months and some.... but was it coachella-ready? doubtful kind of i mean their songs are on the lower range (relative to more typical gg songs) and that sounds amazing on studio versions, but unless completely relaxed and stationary, singing them will always be very difficult ESP!! with hybe choreographies 😭😭 i mean im happy they stood still when singing their parts instead of continuing to sing with the choreo (ähem ähem proof of virtually everyone relying heavily on playback during music shows) but for 40 minutes ofc they're going to run out of stamina but that's what carries a perf in the first place so i don't get why they didn't get sent AFTER they became stamina beasts or sth 💔💔

i love my girls so so much they're my absolute faves since long long long before their debut but it hurts my soul not to be able to defend their live singing ahahhahaha amazing performers no doubt!!! their energy was insane that night they were so hype and the crowdwork was amazing omg (nice work deflecting the difficult endings of phrases into sth to hype the stage ahahah) but it was so so apparent how much they had to catch their breaths in between :( and it sucks how ppl get disappointed when they hear actual live stages when the entertainment industry, especially in korea where perfection is implemented and wanted EVERYWHERE, heavily edits the audio and processes them before posting them on youtube and call it "live". even the closest things you can call to "live" have some sort of tuning through the mics on the spot so they can be very deceptive to people's singing abilities and not to tear some ppls' horns but leemujin is SOOO heavily processed too!! plus the reverb on mics always make you sound better and the mics on coachella didn't have much reverb (for at home viewers, not live on-site) and that's BRUTAL oml so yeah idk what to say and wow what a tangent i went on im sorry but it pisses me off. what's called "live" ISN'T 100% live most of the time and that should be common knowledge oh my freaking gosh killing voice too!!!
