Doodle request: I found a hc that Scarab had wings that were removed for fucking up his job somehow and that's part of why he's Like That. What's your take on this hc?

i like to think that he got into a scuffle with some other cosmic entity in the past and in the fight his wing got torn, but cause of that he started wearing the suit exoskeleton thing he does now to prevent it from happening again

in my head hes got 2 exoskeletons- the suit is a false one thats tougher than his true one underneath

i feel like prior to that happening he used to wear more actual clothes but alas being an immortal creature doesnt mean you cant still get hurt

imagine going to bed with your f/o. crawling into the bed and settling under soft blankets. feeling the heat from their body create a cozy pocket of warmth. imagine drifting to sleep to the sound of their soft breathing, and depending where you live, to the sounds of traffic or crickets or planes. basking in the soft gray light from the moon, casting stripes from the slats in the blinds onto your blanket.

alternatively, imagine going to bed before your f/o. they're getting home extra late, and they don't want you to lose sleep waiting up for them. you drift to sleep, waking slowly when you hear them arrive home. imagine hearing them stepping gently around your home, setting down their things, maybe getting a snack or a glass of water. you can see the warm golden light from outside your bedroom. they make their way to the bathroom and turn on the shower, and the ambient pitter-pattering of the water lulls you to sleep again, until you feel them finally climb into bed next to you. they wrap their arms around you and kiss the top of your head before falling asleep themselves.

there's nothing to do the next day, no alarms set, just pure peace ♡

aabria is such an expert player and is far and away so refreshing and wonderful and brilliant to watch perform because she knows how important it is just to take. time. deanna literally being like an emotional defibrillator for bells hells when they would’ve been so focused on their misery and stress in the separation, deanna taking time to remind the story that these characters are here and they don’t have to be accessories to something happening, they get to react, they get to breathe, they get to feel and give that its deserved time
