Unicorn Overlord!
Man, I was really hoping we’d get a trailer for that Fe4 remake. But on the other hand, Unicorn Overlord has me hyped beyond belief. Ever since I first played Odinsphere, I’ve a vanillaware fantasy srpg so fucking bad! And at long last, my prayers have been answered. And it’s got dragons and griffins and demons and elves and even furries. March of 2024 can’t come fast enough!

while I was looking for gabriels in the intro, I noticed this redheaded person w dark clothing and lighthaired person w light clothing that appear to kiss in the theatre:
Tumblr media
i'm making this about the 1941 kiss theory
---
edit oct 7: a few kind people have mentioned that they remember a post from the official good omens account (possibly on twitter) that said the two people kissing are War & Pollution, and the shadow beside them is Famine. (If you have the link please send it this way! I have done a fair bit of searching but with no luck and it's haunting me bc it must be real but i can't find it)
@0owhatsamsays also pointed out that in the X-Ray bonus video "Title Sequence Easter Eggs" Peter Anderson says there are specific characters from season 1 in the highlighted boxes, and as you can see, the kissing booth (top level, far right) is one with a little trail of stars coming off of it.

I saw a tiktok comment stating that Aaravos blushes when picking up Viren’s statue. I had to find out even though I figured they were probably lying/joking. BUT I WAS WRONG. HE DOES ACTUALLY BLUSH.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I increased the sharpness and definition on both images EQUALLY to make it easier to see. It still might be hard if you’re a bit colorblind or something. Sorry about that.
I’m not the only one who sees this right? He clearly has more of a blush when he picks up Viren. I doubt it’s on accident because both scenes clearly use the same animation for Aaravos. Same mouth, eye, eyebrow, and hair position. But not the same blush. Like why would they randomly decide to add blush on that scene? The intros are so important. The team saw them so many times, they had to have noticed it. But idk.

Latest EP theory "Moon goes MISSING during his HALLOWEEN PARTY!!!"
🌃🌕🎃🚀
I currently have two theories, mostly on Sun's phone and I'll try to be eloquent but break is only so long and I have limited time!
I've been yelling @ikamigami for long enough on these theories XD but they did help me to refine my rambly ideas.
For starters, for those who haven't seen the ep, to avoid spoiling things for everyone I'm putting the theories under the cut!
Both of my theories are pretty outlandish so take them with a grain of salt, knowing how TSAMS can be, this might just be a straightforward situation where Moon was grabbed and will be used as ransom or bargaining for Sun. However, while I feel that is the course I like to overthink and come to with theories on what else might be going on.
So starting off, my first theory revolves around Sun, Dark Sun, and Sun's phone.
During the party, in my opinion, I think Sun was acting oddly. I propose, it wasn't Sun but instead Dark Sun doing his imposter work. So for starters, Moon leaves to get soda for the party and very shortly after 'Moon' calls 'Sun' to tell him the store is out of soda. Just completely out.
Then Sun, very loudly plays their phone conversation for everyone to hear, which is odd because he went into the other room to take Moon's call but then it got so loud the entire party could hear that Moon was now on his way back, and soda-less. (Kind of odd the store was completely out of sodas?). I will also add Sun abruptly hung up on Moon which seemed very out of character for him.
Furthering this odd behavior, Solar took Dazzle out to trick or treat, which seems innocuous at first but I need to remind everyone up until this episode Sun on record has been too worried and scared to even let Dazzle in the back yard even with Jack's protection. So it's just strange Sun was very.... uncaring? Unbothered? About Dazzle going out, without Jack too. Just with Solar.
Then when Sun met up with Solar later he panicky explained to Solar that Moon said he left the store but he still went there to look for him. The entire time Sun is this immediately scared and stuttering mess. Now, he is worried about Moon but we've seen a much calmer and more mature Sun as of late and I don't think he'd be a stuttering mess.
Now that I've laid the foundation, my idea is, I think Sun has already been grabbed. We've seen recently that Dark Sun, or D!Sun has been more aggressive with his space invasion. He's been coming in and out more and pretending to be Sun blatantly. We had a recent episode where for an indeterminate amount of time D!Sun was pretending to be Sun in their home, around Solar and the kids. Molten was also right there and didn't notice anything. He was full on acting strange and no one questioned it. Dazzle only thought he seemed sad. By the end of the charade, D!Sun just left while asking Solar to call his phone because he couldn't find it.
He gave away the fact their own home isn't safe. Solar knew after calling his Sun that the entire time he was with D!Sun.
Something interesting is the only thing that's so far gotten D!Sun caught when he's pretending to be Sun, is Sun's phone. Forever ago, D!Sun tried visiting Foxy and FC when he was living at his stormy beach house and was immediately caught as not Sun because Foxy was only moments ago texting Sun. While Foxy in particular is observational he would have fallen for the act if not for the prior text messages. Then, later on after the first encounter with Goliath, D!Sun showed up to give advice to, and check up on, Earth and Lunar. The entire exchange would have been innocuous if the real Sun didn't happen to call.
So, keep the timing and Sun's phone in mind.
In today's episode Moon shortly after his strange soda-less run, called Monty and let them know he could not get a hold of Sun, he was apparently trying to call him multiple times. Which, when we find Sun outside not only is the not worried about the missed calls but doesn't even state "I have no missed calls." On top of Monty's call suspiciously cutting off.
Now why would Moon keep trying to call Sun when less than 5 minutes ago he spoke to 'Sun'? I think the first Moon on the phone was actually Nexus pretending to be Moon. He's just not the best at pretending to be Old Moon, so D!Sun hung up before he could give too much away.
The second call I think was Moon, he was trying to get a hold of Sun but due to Sun not being available he called Monty instead. (Reminder, Monty is Moon's go to when he thinks anything might be wrong.) I think Moon calling Monty was not according to plan, him leaving to go to the store was not according to plan. D!Sun maybe sent a signal to Ruin to grab Moon before D!Sun could be caught again. The phone is his immediate give away so D!Sun at this point knows to eliminate that before it can cast suspicion his way.
I think he was at the Halloween party pretending to be Sun as an elaborate distraction scheme. The only people who could stop Sun's kidnapping are Solar and Moon so keeping them unaware something is occurring is the easiest option. However, Moon leaving to grab Soda at the store was very much an unprompted thing. I think this wasn't according to plan. So D!Sun had to improve with Nexus and Ruin.
At the party when D!Sun took the call it was more then likely an exchange of code. How can the store be completely out of Soda? However, if this is Nexus pretending to be Moon, he needed to make up some kind of code. Sun himself may actually be on the run? Nexus might have communicated 'no soda at the soda store' as a means to let D!Sun know Sun isn't secured and to keep stalling. Moments after the actual Moon called and raised suspicion that he couldn't get a hold of Sun, despite 'Sun' being right there at the party. So, I propose, he sent another signal or order to Ruin to grab Moon while on the call to stop Moon from further alerting the others something might be wrong with Sun.
The second part of the plan was probably enacted messily. Plus, a hasty kidnapping plot would buy Nexus enough time to grab and subdue Sun. While that happens, Ruin keeps Moon tucked away somewhere and D!Sun can lead Solar on a literal made up goose chase.
IS this convoluted? Yes. I feel like it's right up a Dark Sun plot though, the guy is a Sun. So, that's my first theory.
My next theory I feel doesn't have as much to it, but it is still solid. I find it a bit more boring? So the way this next theory goes is this, I think what we might be seeing as an audience is the occurrence when two individuals somehow just miss each other at the right moment.
We know Nexus and D!Sun have eyes and ears everywhere, D!Sun was literally able to touch Sun's bed and car. They know everything about their day to day schedules. So it wouldn't be hard to time things in their favor. We saw this recently from Nexus showing up with those drones to talk to Earth in the daycare and Sun at Atlas' study. (They even know where to find that). He also managed to show up and attack Moon while Moon was alone twice. Not to mention isolating Solar twice too.
So with the hyper-vigilance and D!Sun's methodical ways, I think he is orchestrating a trap. I was explaining how strange Sun was acting at the party, and while it is grasping at straws that he's D!Sun, another explanation could be maybe Sun is just stressed? He wants to be a good host to the party. He has a lot of guests to entertain and despite his protectiveness towards Dazzle he trusts Solar to keep her safe.
So with the theory I think the opposite happened, The first person calling Sun was Moon, the store was out of Soda and well....having anything go wrong for a party you planned carefully is stressful. So him snippily hanging up the phone on Moon can be believable, especially since it seemed like Moon was about to start an argument over nothing. Then, while they watch Moon leave the store Nexus called Monty, pretending to be Moon. Nexus just made up a lie about not being able to reach Sun to make Sun and Monty worry that something might be wrong. The only reason Moon would call Sun so much was if he needed help afterall.
Sun, being a good brother obviously would go to the store to see what's wrong. This is when the 'just missed each other' idea comes in. I'm thinking Moon left in advanced and Nexus summoned Sun with the false call, to lure him and hopefully Solar, away from the party and group. With how the timing should go down, Sun shows up to the store when Moon arrives back home to the party. Nexus probably made sure to time it so Sun and Solar would be in the same spot so he could lure them far away in a short amount of time. I think the kidnapping note is a red herring to lead them to a trap. What is the trap? No idea. Nexus is showing that he in particular wants Sun, Solar, and Earth to join him. He's offered a spot by his side to all three. Sun and Solar are right now together in an undisclosed location. It would be interesting to see if Earth is also lured away too.
To me, this theory is a lot more...boring? I think it also holds a bit of water. Let me know what you all think! Which theory did you like more?

5 REASONS WHY I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THIS IS JUST ABOUT A TOUR
I don't think I'm smart enough for plausible theories, so this is just a vent of a long time fan. I also have not read many posts, because I've been busy with life, so sorry if someone also said these points.
1. The concept.
I hope this is an album, but I wouldn't pledge my life on it. What I think, however, this is going to be something that brings all the storylines together from previous albums. At least from the Black Parade and Danger Days definitely, but I'm also thinking a bit about Conventional Weapons, too. This is because while yes, the tour does carry the Black Parade name and comes right after everybody spent time crying about not being in the select few to attend the WWWY Fest, the Secretary was not part of the Black Parade storyline. The closest thing we had eas the Director of BLI in Danger Days. And I think we all knew who this woman was the moment she popped up on the screen:
Tumblr media
So what if Gerard's costume for the tour was the now undead Director, who became the Secretary of the Dictator?
2. The storyline itself.
I know every word to every album, from the singles to the B sides to leaked ones. But there may always be a chance that I misinterpreted the whole thing, maybe we all did, but the Black Parade is about the afterlife. Whether you got there because of illnes, war, it doesn't matter, you become part of the Black Parade when you die. I believe it to be a celebration of life, or carrying on even after the end.
What the Black Parade has never been, was a personal celebratory National Band, which is exactly what the post writes as the story. I'm going to insert a screenshot with the story.
Tumblr media
I saw a theory that the entire concept is going to be revamped, which it might as well be, but even it doesn't make sense.
3. Because that's not what My Chemical Romance is.
And right now I'm thinking about the captions under the pictures.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After seeing the Secretary, my first thought about these captions was that we - The Black Parade - originally must have answered by wanting to be killjoys, the rebellious ones, but eventually we broke and stood in line, becoming the Dictator's beloved National Band, to which the Secretary replied: "Good boy."
However, My Chemical Romance never stood for that. They would never reward us with a tour for standing in line and shutting our mouth. They would never become the corporate machine they stood against since the very beginning. They would never lead the Black Parade in this manner and for this purpose.
And maybe it's just my naivety, the long lost teenager somewhere deep in me saying this, but I still believe they would never do that.
4. Foundations of Decay.
Has it been 2 years since this song came out? Yes. Am I going to bring it up? Absolutely.
(This is definitely overthinking on my part, but I was a history major and with the current events, the parallels are unmatched.) So the thing about wars is, you need people to fight it for you. You need soldiers and military leaders and all of them have to be loyal and obey the orders. The easiest way to achieve that, is by building an ideological foundation you can use to sway their judgement and decision making. The mustache man started with the theory of the back stabbing of the nation. During the middle ages, Christianity provided this foundation for the crusades in the middle east. If you give people something to fear or you give them something to idolise, they will be willing to fight against or for what you want.
And this is the Foundation of Decay.
"you must build an altar where it wells"
"Take his body as a relic to be canonised"
"You stumble through your last crusade"
And is you ask me, this is why this one song came out so much earlier than the rest of the project. Because they lay the ideological foundation first, and you need people to absorb it and truly believe before you can lead them with it. So you tell them again and again and again. Play it at every show on a tour. And so that reunion tour is when the Black Parade became the National Band, instead of the Killjoys. Because we sang along to every word, we absorbed it and not just believed it, but lived it as we attended the tour and sang when they told us to, cheered if they just came on the screen. We became conditioned to follow Gerard's orders as he walked on the stage, just as we will follow the order to play for the Dictator, instead of standing against him.
5. But empires and dictatorships never last, do they?
Rome fell apart. There is a reason there was a Third Reich, because the first 2 also fell. The Ottoman Empire also eventually weakened and fell apart. And just because the Communist Party always said that life is great and everyone is happy "In the Concrete Age", everyone who has lived in a ex-soviet occupied country (hello to my fellow Eastern and Central European MCR fans), we can all tell you, it was everything but true.
And so it is only a matter of time before Dictator's reign has to see its end? Perhaps maybe even bought on by his beloved band, put together from the misfits who the Secretary had to break to stay in line.
But, this is all just my theory. Thank you for clowning with me and my tinfoil hat if you read it this far.

For those wondering how tmagp is going I have finished it. And I thought I would share my final thoughts
I am pretty sure that jmj files are Jonah Martin Jon. Which seems to be a universal idea. I did for a moment think that it was lighter in Freddy but unsure.
Sam is in the main universe and I know it. Celia and Alice are going to get SO close and then Sam is going to come back and it’s going to rip all three of them apart.
Jon and Martin in the tmagp timeline that died are dead bc two people (entities) in the same timeline means that one of them has to die. (Ex. That dude who shoved his copy down the stairs)
Lietners exist in this timeline but I think it’s in a way that no one is expecting (like blogs or under another name but they have to im literally convinced of it)
I also have a bit of a running theory with myself that in the tmagp timeline the entities have less division over them aside from the eye who seems to be very powerful and tends to push into every aspect of life. Also wondering if the eye is like that bc they got one ritual off and the rest of the fears are attempting to balance it

I want to put it on the record that I am deeply suspicious of Jace Stardiamond. Porter is an obvious suspect for the conspiracy, but the first time that Ragh "saw" Kalina (not really, but yk) it was a conversation between Arianwen Abernant, Jace and an invisible 3rd person.

Thinking about Clone X...
Tumblr media
Specifically, why did he survive the waterfall?
Obviously there's a CX clone who's going to be a problem for the Batch later in the season, per trailer footage, but this is the third one we've seen so far so why not just kill him and intro a fourth? I'd argue that it would have been a very creepy dramatic moment for him to die and immediately cut to Tantiss where the next one is being activated - a how many of these guys are there moment.
But they kept him alive, which tells me there's something about him in particular that the writers still need.
My theory is that he's someone who means something to Crosshair. I don't think Crosshair has the faintest idea which clone is under that mask right now but I would bet money that when the mask comes off, he'll recognize the person underneath it.
My fear is that we will too.
I guess it could very well be someone Crosshair knows from Tantiss that we haven't met yet, but that doesn't sit right with me. So who does Crosshair know that he cares enough about that it would impact him if they became a CX trooper? Everyone I can think of is presently accounted for except for Mayday, Cody, and Tech.
I'll say right off the bat that I don't think it's Mayday. His purpose in the narrative was to be the good soldier that was discarded by the Empire anyway to show Crosshair that they see his value as having an expiration date. If Mayday actually became a useful CX trooper, that would completely destroy that piece of the story.
Cody is a maybe. He was also the good solider that Crosshair believed in but his function was to show that being a good solider is not necessarily the same as being a good person. I don't think turning him into a CX trooper ruins that but it does weaken it by erasing Cody's decision to desert - and that choice is what really drove home the idea that being a good soldier is not enough.
I will say that making Cody into a CX trooper would add a very interesting element to Cody's story - and to the clones' in general, especially including Rex. But this isn't their story. This is Crosshair and CF99's story. Safe to assume the writing choices will reflect that.
Which brings us to Tech...
Tech's choice was to sacrifice himself to save his family. If he didn't lose his life but still lost himself - his mind - I think the weight of that choice still holds. And I think seeing his brother as a mirror of himself would have a very deep impact on Crosshair.
I'm not saying this is Tech. I truly am not convinced of that yet. I just don't know who else it could be.

As someone who has steadily kept up on almost all Watcher shows and side projects, this backlash really does come down to how out of touch the guys have become, even before making Friday’s announcement.
Ryan and Shane (certainly the biggest draw to the channel) got their start with lower-brow, boyish humor and riffing off each other. Can’t forget the capitalism-critical and “power to the underdog” attitude that resonated with so many fans early on either. Now though, if you watch/listen to Pod Watcher, it’s hard to overlook just how unrelatable they’ve become in recent years. Which is whatever—it’s not like we only consume media in order to intimately relate to hosts/characters—but it does mean they’ve lost something integral from the charm that netted them their initial success.
To add. If you watched their latest season of Too Many Spirits, they weren’t even funny, just trashed and off-putting, lol. Frat-style drinking by a backyard pool and Ryan overhand throwing bones at a neighbor’s dog for barking.
Maybe not as bad for Shane, but the egos have really grown uncomfortably outsized. And at some point I got tired of watching videos based around lavish over-indulgence. Even if Steven’s videos cost less to produce than Ghost Files (I assume), they clearly rub viewers the wrong way on principle alone.
All in all, and not to minimize their hard work in getting out the content that they do, I think the Watcher guys should’ve been much more careful in considering this move and its rollout.
For years, I’ve maintained a Patreon subscription to a separate and unrelated funny-guy trio (for the same monthly price Watcher Streaming is now asking). However. The group I subscribe to is more than situationally-funny-sometimes, and always come across as grounded, emotionally intelligent, and likable people. Which makes me want to see them succeed and help how I can (though I would still be able to access 95% of their content even without subscribing).
So yeah, idk. Steven Lim driving a Tesla and wanting a second one or whatever is kind of just the tip of the iceberg.
