Dallas walks into Buck’s bar for a little get-together with the gang, not knowing they were gossiping about you.

“Oh god the puppy eyes she has for him, don’t get me started on how obvious it is.” Two-bit chuckles along with Sodapop.

“Who has puppy eyes for who?” Dallas sits next to Johnny on the other side of the table. The rest of the gang eye each other. (side eye typa way 👁️)

“You can’t be serious Dal..” Pony says slowly, a smirk slowly coming to his face. “Since when am I not serious?……..don’t answer that.” Dallas lights a cigarette and brings it to his mouth.

“Its-“ Two-bits mouth gets covered by Steve. “C’mon, why can’t I know? You guys are making me soo sad.” Dallas mocks a fake tear coming down with his finger.

“It's Y/n.” Sodapop blurts, Two-bit elbows him, and Darry facepalms, “God Soda, don’t you ever know when to keep your smart mouth shut?”

“I just couldn't keep it a secret. We all thought you knew Dally, I mean, it's painfully obvious.” Sodapop took a swing of his drink while Darry started scolding him under his breath.

“Obvious? Am I missin’ somethin’? What makes it ‘that’ obvious?” Dallas puts out his cigarette, and the gang knows he puts out an unfinished cigarette whenever he is serious. His brows furrowed as he stared hard into their eyes.

“Dal she always asks about you and she always tries to hang out with you. Do you not see the way she looks at you? She might as well be a lost puppy or somethin’ ” Johnny fidgets with a card in his hand, not looking at Dally.

“Wow Johnny-cake, even you?” Dallas scoffs, “Anything else I should know?” He puts his legs up on the table.

“Why don’t you just go ask her? If your sooo curious.” Two-Bit says sarcastically. Dallas lights a new cigarette and walks out without saying anything else.

It was almost 1am when you heard a knock on your window. You groggily opened your eyes, rubbing them. Another set of tiny knocks went off at your window.

You got up, and the only thing you were wearing was an oversized tshirt with a shoulder cut. When you got to the window, you almost screamed.

You opened it, cursing under your breath.

“Dallas Winston, what in Irene's name are you doing here? God, I thought you were a random guy or stalker!” He climbed inside your room while you closed it slightly.

Then it suddenly hit you, Dallas Winston was inside your bedroom. Your cheeks flushed red. (thank god the lights are off)

“Do you want me to be a stalker? I can, if that's what you’re into doll.” Dallas slyly smirked as he occupied himself in your bed. You sat on the edge of the bed, not completely next to him.

“I don’t bite, c’mere.” Dallas pats next to him. You scooch a bit closer stiffly, but not at all close.

“So- um, what’re you doing here Dal..?” You stutter through your words, the situation's absurdity finally growing upon you as you become more awake.

“Jus’ hangin’ out, tell me abt ur day first.” Dallas turns to face you, removing his jacket and throwing it to the floor.

“Oh- uh-,” you found it completely inconvenient that you forgot what you did the whole day just because he looked at you a few seconds longer than the last.

You looked away from him and onto the floor, your closet, anything to keep yourself from looking at him any longer.

“My day was uh fine. I uhm went out to Buck’s earlier, uhm, oh I also was with the gang..” Every time you spoke, your voice trembled and your hands fidgeted with the end of your shirt. Dallas never looked away from you as you spoke. His gaze lingered over you, leaving you an embarrassingly shy blush-y mess.

You looked at him for a response but immediately looked away again, not expecting him to be staring at you so intently.

“Keep talking, I like your voice doll.” He scooches onto the bed fully and lays down, propping his feet up.

“Oh uh, okay..,” You mentally facepalmed. You weren’t cool at all around him, you didn’t know what to say to be able to entertain whatever he was looking for.

“After Buck’s, uh, I went to the Dingo to grab a quick bite and uhm, I just went home after that. Nothing too, uh, special.” You turned to face him more but couldn’t allow yourself to look up past his waist.

“Don’t say that doll, everythin’ about ya is special.” He takes a cig out and lights it, the soft warm fire illuminating his sharp features.

Sitting down makes you way more nervous than it needs to be, as dorky as it is, you decide to start tidying up your (already) clean room.

“Really, Dal. Why did you come over? I mean, not that I mind of course! Or anything, I just mean since um, you don’t usually come knocking on my window,” you mindlessly stumbled over your words while moving some makeup around on your vanity.

“I heard some things ‘bout you. Just wanted to see if they were true.” He blew smoke towards the window, looking you up and down slowly.

“Oh, really? What’d ya hear? Good things? I hope?” You lightly chucked as you turned around, leaning against the wood.

He put out the cigarette on a cute white ash pan you had on your dresser and slowly walked over to you.

Your posture straightened, trying to put a respectable amount of distance between the two of you.

He leaned in, putting his arms on the vanity on either side of you, trapping you against it.

“I heard you have a bit of a crush on me doll, is that true?” His eyes flickered over every detail of your face, he smirked mischievously.

“Who told you that?” You turned your head away from him. “Was it Soda? Two-bit?” Your heart was racing and your body was getting very hot.

“You're not even going to deny it? Wow, I didn't know you could be so forward doll." He grabbed your chin back to face him. He tucked a strand of hair behind your ear.

“No thats not what I meant, No- I do like you, wait no I don’t, I just-“

You broke away with heavy breathing, his eyes never left your soft lips.

Oh, have you read, "Dear Gene" by Azuma Kaya? It's also one of my favorite BL ever.... (Sorry if you already know it and don't really love them).

I can't put into words how happy it makes me that you liked Love for Sale... I don't think even Dal Hyeonji would feel this happy about someone liking their work SHFKUS but it's just SOO dear to me! Thank you for giving it a chance.

As for my top 5 moments.

The moment Namwoo finally realizes that he's the horndog in the relationship lol. From the moment they met, he's fixated on what he can provide for the money he's taking from Sieon, and since he's so rich and can literally buy anything he wants, there must be one thing and one thing only he wants from Namwoo: sex. Namwoo thinks Sieon must be a pervert for spending so much money on him (thus expecting a lot of sex in return) but it's actuallly him that constantly initiates sex. I kept waiting for the moment of realization!

The night Sieon went up to Namwoo's apartment to try his "toys". This is another favorite of mine because of how casual, funny and sexy at the same time. Still giggle whenever I remember Namwoo's middle finger action xD

Namwoo's realization that his sunbae was actually in love with him as well. I honestly didn't see this coming?! Probably because we never get to see his side of the story, and his "advances" could only be read as friendly invites. I should've been suspicious because I knew he picked up the nature of Namwoo and Sieon's relationship when they've first seen each other at the mall.

Namwoo and his sister Eunjung having a Love Declaration Olympics in the middle of a crowd. I mentioned in another answer that I love Eunjung for several reasons, and that scene is both so hilarious and emotional, I couldn't help but add it to the list. I love all of their interactions but this one probably takes the cake.

Sieon's blush. You know which chapter I'm talking about, right? xD I wouldn't believe you if you were to tell me that seeing a character blush after 70+ chapters would make me cry but here we are. This is top grade story-telling. Building everything up until such a "minor" point AND having a cathartic pay off, I can only bow down.

WHEW. Thank you for giving me another chance to gush about Love for Sale, because I feel self-conscious lol. I keep inserting the series whenever I get an ask or start blabbing unprovoked... Anyways. There were a lot more I liked about it, like our redhead with anger management issues looking back on his relationship with Sieon, or Namwoo's heartfelt convo with the female friend in his friend circle, OR Sieon reuniting with his mother. It's so hard to pick. But anyways, I'll stop here before I list anything and everything that transcribed in the series.

As for Dear Gene. I did read the parent manga, The Scene of My Rumspringa and liked it a lot! You can feel the weight and importance of the theme to the author, because only then you get a delicate story packed with emotions. Dear Gene was recommended to me as well, but I want to wait for the official English release because my Japanese is not at a level where I can comfortably read manga. I can get by with dictionaries and apps when the BL has your run of the mill story, I usually guess what's gonna happen from the very first chapter anyway. But BLs with deeper conversations and topics are hard to get through. I'll leave it to the translators and enjoy when I can. I'm looking forward to it!

my sister is also my best friend and bane of my existence hahaha, i also have a younger brother who is closer to my age and like we’re close yes but also he’s a straight tech bro who loves to argue for fun, so we don’t have a TON in common and we hang out less than i do with my sister. then again my sister and i are extremely codependent so i don’t do much without her.

yesss i love that movie so much! and yes my parents got married in a snowy cabin in the mountains on new year’s eve with chinese food :’) and then waited a month and a half to have their reception on valentine’s day bc they’re Extra.

i actually love to cook a lot so i have lots of recipes, but i do love like a penne alla vodka, or maybe just a homemade tomato sauce and dollops of ricotta. the other night i made a meat sauce and penne and then layered it with italian cheese in a casserole dish and topped with cheese and breadcrumbs before baking. that turned out pretty good! i also like making tomato sauce that has blended up carrots and spinach, still totally smooth and tastes a bit sweet. i love vegetables but sometimes i want them hidden lol. my mom and i also make a very simple beet sauce that’s super good. and ofc i love making a classic fettuccini alfredo aaannnyyytime of the year.

oooo i love being cozy too!! esp when u have a fireplace aaaaa. i do love soup, my mom makes soup every sunday and it’s always a different kind. my favourite is her savoury pumpkin soup topped with crème fraîche and toasted pumpkin seeds oh my god its incredible. last sunday she just made chicken noodle which is also very good.

those holidays sound super cool! festival of the lights sounds soo beautiful omg. what types of foods do u have during them? happy belated diwali! i miss home during my fav holidays too, i’m from a little forest town in the mountains so nowhere in the world will ever feel as cozy in the winter.

i have not yet lived in a place with a fireplace but definitely yes! the best vibes ever ever. ur mom definitely makes the best soups ever those recipes all sound so so good 😭

we make loads of sweets and snacks for diwali! my favourites are : chakli (it's rice flour + gram flour + spices fried into a spiral shape) and holige (it's basically wheat flour tortilla (or have u heard about naan?) stuffed with a mixture of boiled chickpea and jaggery). my mum makes loads of other things too but these are my most favourite during diwali!

during ganesh chathurthi the most traditional sweet is called modak which is basically a dumpling with grated cocunut and sugar syrup filling. it comes both steamed and fried and i love love love it!

ooh i love forest towns! they have such a mystic and serene air to them and they get so cosy during the winters 🥺

i just had a christmas party yesterday and i won a bunch of prizes so i'm very pleased with that! this weekend i might go get some shopping done and look at the christmas decorations across the city! please do let me know if u go see the christmas tree! when do ur christmas holidays begin and are u excited to relax for a bit?

Hahahaaha I totally get what you mean, I have a ton of ideas but actually writing them is a whole different thing. I have storylines, I have plots, I have things that I simply want to make fics, and then they just stay like mere ideas because I move onto the next idea 😭, I have like 50 songs I've been meaning to make fics too, there's one I particularly feel sad for not doing which is touch tank by quinnie, it was the perfect song for an Anton fic but I left it abandoned too 💀, it also had a ton of yearning and it was just all about swimming (because oh surprise I was a swimmer) and I wanted to put one of my most precious childhood memories because I KNOW it was romantic as fuck even if I never had nothing with my irl friend, it was purely a fic for me but that I was sure a ton of my big girlies would've loved.

I wanted to put a lot of things about growing up with a swimmer body because I was literally the nightmare for both athletes and chubby young girls, I started becoming broader but at the same time I wasn't losing weight and to add more pain I was also always the tallest kid there, not only between girls but with everyone my age 💀 (you can see why I'm so into talking about beauty standards 💀💀💀)

I loved f(x) so much, I've always been a SM Stan so I suffered so much when I saw my babies not releasing anything anymore, 4 walls is still one of my favorite songs ever and I remember being obsessed with the MV! I don't know tiny g, mad town or c-clown but I loved secret and fiestar too 🩷, U-kiss was such a special group for me too, they, B.A.P, MBLAQ, teen top and Nu'est would always sound in my playlists 😭, then I liked Winner and Ikon but we all now how YG is... (I still miss 2ne1).

Lately I've been really into Ateez, I never expected to like them this much, I heard about them more than once but they never caught my attention until I saw a reading about this mingi guy and it really sounded like me so I started to think who the fuck are these guys and THANK GOD BECAUSE I LOVE THEM (Yeosang is my current bias wrecker 😭). I haven't listened to their entire albums but I know the most popular songs and I've been putting those long fan playlists to find what I like the most. From other groups I've been listening to Boy next door, but I don't really like them like them, they're not really my style 😭 but I like their music a lot, it's really fresh and I have to admit, they know how to follow a concept! Zb1 is been on my radar too but my problem is I can't say I stan a group unless I find a charm on each member and in both cases I'm just there for the music 🫠, I like certain members (in bonedo no one tho, in zb1 Zhang, Hanbin and Matthew) but just liking a few is not enough for me, in Riize's case I didn't doubt to fall in love with all of them from the minute I saw them, however I have to admit that lately I've been getting a bit distant (maybe that's also a reason for my block?), idk, I miss Seunghan a lot and I haven't liked much their recent songs (boom boom bass is dope tho, I finally adore the song and have been repeating it every day), and I just... I just need more. I need to feel obsessed, to feel my body burning when I see them, my heart jumping when they dance and this desperate yearn to see more of them, but with the pass of time I've just felt the flame going down 😭.

I miss having more of everything. I'm not into moderation at all, so I'm the kind that is all of nothing, once I truly enjoy something I need it until I hate it or until I can't like anything anymore, if I like a tea you'll see me buying 20 bottles to have in storage, if I like a book I'll read everything else the same author writes, if I like a brand I'll go and get what I want, so in terms of k-pop i also need all of it until I can't digest anything else, I need more songs, constant fiction, long stories, a bunch of interactions between them, I just need to be satiated and I haven't been feeling it these days 😭, I still like them of course, I Stan them, but I still think there could be more 🥺.

Vagamente ispirato al romanzo il Conte di Montecristo di Alexandre Dumas

Trama: Go Eun-jo è una fashion designer. Le piace accontentare le persone intorno a lei, ma per colpa del tradimento dei suoi cosiddetti amici finisce col perdere tutto. Giura che si vendicherà dei traditori e dopo 5 anni torna in città sotto falso nome proprio per farlo e rovinarli.

chuseok 2023

"and i'm happy i'm still here with you"

two years ago it'd felt weird to wear this, two years ago was mattheo's first ever celebration of chuseok. for the past many days, mattheo's been helping his grandmother cook, slowly for ever chuseok, mattheo had helped more and more with the food. now he's putting on the hanbok, two years ago he'd struggled like hell doing it, now it was like putting on any other piece of clothing on. a guest joins him in the room, opens the door and let's mattheo smell the amazing smell of the food getting cooked. "hi soo" mattheo gives a smile to his cat who drives her fur over mattheo's hanbok "be careful soo, i still have many more years of wearing this hanbok". he looks in the mirror, originally owned by his grandfather, who mattheo never got the chance to see him wear it, perhaps if his father had ever let them travel to korea. but mattheo was stuck barely knowing any of his family, he'd never met his mother's side of the family, and from his dad's he'd only met his dad and grandmother.

something in him wishes for more people to be joining them, for this to be a big celebration, where all of the food actually will get eaten, and not just be used as leftovers for many many days. but it's just mattheo and his grandmother, and soo of course, but all soo is getting is the expensive cat food rather than the cheap one she usually gets. mattheo's grandmother says the expensive cat food is only for special occasions, mattheo of course doesn't always listen and sometimes when he's feeling like it, he'll give her some more fancy food, not that that makes soo like mattheo more, it's still very obvious who likes who most (hint: mattheo treasures that cat more than anything).

"mattheo come down so i can see your outfit already!" he hears a call from his grandmother, he rolls his eyes with a smile on his lips, ever since she forced him to wear it for their first chuseok, he's gladly put the hanbok on for any occasion she wants him to wear it, she knows he's wearing the hanbok, and he looks the same as as any other time he wears it (except he's gone blonde now, perhaps the hair doesn't suit the hanbok anymore?). he walks down, and he sees her smile even before she sees his hanbok, "oh you look amazing, it looks like you've grown" she claps, "i've grown around zero centimetres grandmother, but thank you anyways" they both let out a chuckle, she always says he's grown, forces mattheo to measure his height and it turns out he's the same height as when he came to korea.

"are you going to say it?" he walks down from the stairs, and she nods before opening her lips, "happy third chuseok choi dal".
