İlk sezonun bana verdiği yetkiye dayanarak ikinci sezonun da bir o kadar kötü olacağını düşünüyordum. Çok özür dileyerek söylüyorum ki Jo Bo-Ah’ın 2.sezonda yer almaması diziye sınıf atlatmış. Oyuncu 2.sezonda konuk olarak gelmek istediğini söyleyerek para almadan ufacık görünmüş.  Gerçekten sınıf atladığını tekrar söylemek istiyorum. Hala absürt sahnelerini korusa da o kadar da rahatsız edici olmadığını fark ediyorsunuz. Benim ilk sezona bakış açım çok net olduğu için 2.sezonun eleştirisini sevgili kocam yazmak istedi. Ben kısaca fikrimi beyan edip onun yazısını aşağı bırakacağım.

Öncelikle Lee Yeon karakteri ile gönlümüzün ölüm tilkisi Lee Dong-Wook… Saç şeklinden rengine, kıyafetinden oyunculuğuna her bir adımı şahaneydi. Uzun saçlı sahneleri ayrıca ayrıca güzeldi. Boynuz kulağı geçer mi demeliyim bilmiyorum ama Lee Rang rolü ile evimizin küçük tilkisi Kim Beom abisinden rol çalıyordu. Law School ve Ghost Doctor dizileri ile rüştünü ispatlayan yakışıklı oyuncu başrolden farksızdı. Bu dizideki ikinci adam demek biraz ayıp olur.

Bence dizinin ana kadrodaki 4 isimde başrol gibiydi. Bu sezon yeni katılan isimlerden biri olan Cheon Mu-Young karakteri ile Ryoo Kyung-Soo’ydu. Itaewon Class dizisinden bizde yer eden oyuncu burada da oldukça başarılıydı. Oyunculuklar profesyonel bir seviyedeydi. Ve bu sezon yeni katılan diğer isim Ryu Hong-Joo rolü ve dizinin kadın oyuncu kontenjanından Kim So-Yeon. Tek kelime ile bayıldım. Oyunculuğuna da oynadığı karaktere de bayıldım. Kendisini, Taxi Driver dizisinin 2.sezonunun sonunda 3dk görmüştük ama bana bir şey ifade etmemişti. Tanıyan izleyiciler o kadarcık dakikasına bile baya bir yükselmişlerdi. Bunun nedenini şimdi biraz daha iyi anlamış oldum.

Bunların dışında ilk sezonun güzel yanlarından olan Goo Shin-Joo(Hwang Hee) & Sunwoo Eun-Ho(Kim Yong-Ji) çifti de 2. Sezonda boy gösteriyordu. Onları görmek güzeldi. Günün sonunda benim söyleyeceklerim bu kadar. Dizi ile ilgili genel düşüncem ise; ikinci sezonun bambaşka bir dizi olarak ilki izlenmeden bile izlenebileceği yönünde.

YORUM:

Dizilerde ikinci sezonun, ilk sezonu aşması, üstelik bunu ilk sezonun kurduğu hikaye kurgusundan ödün vermeden yapması nadir görülen bir durumdur. "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938" bunu son derece iyi yapıyor.

Bu yeni sezon, ilk sezonu harika yapan unsurları korumayı başarıyor: Lee Yeon ve Lee Rang kardeşler ve onların karmaşık ama kırılmaz bağları ve zengin Güney Kore folkloruna dayalı fantastik bir dünya. Yazarın bazı kusurları bu sezonda hala mevcut. Senaryodaki olay örgüsündeki boşluklar her ne kadar 2. sezonda biraz daha az belirgin olsa da yine de göze çarpıyor.

İkinci sezon tam da ilkinin bittiği yerden devam ettiği için; daha iyi, daha mutlu ve yaşamı daha çok seven bir dokuz kuyruklu tilki görüyoruz. Bu yüzden ikinci sezonun başrol kadın karakteri Ryu Hong-joo ile kimyası da duygusal olarak karmaşık olmayan, esprili ve keyifli bir arkadaşlığı da diziyi izlettiriyor.

Küçük kardeş Lee Rang'ın sürpriz gücünü bir anlık olsa da görmek ve onun aşk hikayesini de seyretmek keyifliydi.

Story in a Nutshell Oh Ha-ra (Kang So-ra) and Goo Eun-beom (Jang Seung-jo) are both lawyers specializing in divorce…yet they themselves used to be a married couple before heading for divorce. The reason behind the divorce was that Eun-beom cheated…or so Ha-ra was made to believe in. The animosity is high when Eun-beom returned to the same law firm, Doohwang, where Ha-ra is at (his own firm…

I feel like it's a combination of options 1 and 2. It seems like the Love Spell works best when the person who drinks the potion has some sort of positive feelings that already exist towards the person who made the potion. We have 3 people who drank the potion: Shin-yu, Gong Seo-goo (Hong-jo's boss), and Na Joong-beom (creepy gardener guy). Mr. Goo didn't like Hong-jo at the beginning. We initially saw that Mr. Goo was acting differently towards Hong-jo after he drank the potion, but the second Ma Eun-young came back to work, all of his focus was on her and not Hong-jo. I can't remember if the creepy gardener guy liked Hong-jo romantically in the beginning, but he did seem to have a positive relationship with her and Hong-jo talked to him about his wife. If the creepy gardener's wife was still alive, I'm going to guess that the Love Spell potion would have ultimately worn off on him.

For Shin-yu, even though he didn't have the most positive interactions with Hong-jo from the start, you could see that he was intrigued by her and was caring to her when he gave her the number to call about a toxic work environment. He also never truly loved Na-yeon, so she wasn't enough to get the Love Spell's effects to stop. And because Shin-yu has been spending time with Hong-jo where they both had moments of vulnerability with one another, he's actually falling in love with her independent of the Love Spell.

But, yeah, this drama is a mess. I just want the Love Spell effects to be gone so we can move on from that and go on to different things, like the actual falling in love independent of the spell and everything to do with their past lives.

Just finished watching episode 8 and I'm still super baffled as to why the show decided having Shin-yu drink the Love Spell potion was the best way for Shin-yu and Hong-jo to truly fall in love. We still could have had the banter, the slowly connecting, the realizing that what they thought they wanted wasn't actually it, and the pushing each other away without Shin-yu being under the effects of the Love Spell potion. I just think the show's point of their destinies being connected together and unable to be broken apart would have a lot more meaning and power behind it if Shin-yu's actions weren't being heavily influenced by the Love Spell potion.

Like, just imagine if Jae-gyeong had drank the potion and he and Hong-jo started dating. Shin-yu thought he was cured (we still don't know if he truly has been, so like just get an MRI already Shin-yu), so he got back together with Na-yeon. But, for some reason, Hong-jo and Shin-yu kept getting thrown into each other's orbits. It could have happened through cases at City Hall or maybe things were happening that Hong-jo needed to cast spells for, but she didn't want anyone to know she that she had a spell book, so she forced Shin-yu into being the one to help her out. We'd get to see their banter and them getting to know each other better. The more time that they spend together, the more both of them wonder if their current relationships are what they actually want. You could also sprinkle in some past dreams for the both of them to wonder what exactly is going on. Since Shin-yu seems like he was attracted and intrigued by Hong-jo prior to him drinking the Love Spell, we could have him be the one to first start catching real feelings for Hong-jo and being his awkward self around her. We can also have him discover that Na-yeo is cheating on him during this time. Hong-jo starts catching her own feels and she starts to realize that she wants a love that is genuine and one that isn't the result of a Love Spell potion. She decides to cast the Disaster Nullification spell to get rid of the Love Spell on Jae-gyeong and since disaster was promised, once the Love Spell goes away, Shin-yu's illness comes back and we get to go into the story of their past lives.

I feel like something like that would be a whole lot better than what we're getting now. Because while Shin-yu is questioning whether he actually has feelings and Hong-jo is starting to develop her own feelings, Shin-yu still is under the effects of the Love Spell, so how much agency does he actually have right now?

El 20 de julio, Wanna One donó 100 millones de won (aproximadamente $ 88,210) a la Fundación Korea Heart para ayudar a los pacientes con enfermedades del corazón. Con cada álbum, Wanna One ha estado participando en actividades filantrópicas como una forma de expresar su gratitud por el amor y el interés que han recibido del público y sus fans.   L’une des figures les plus importantes de l’histoire royale coréenne, le Roi Sejong développe une relation de longue haleine avec l’ingénieur et inventeur Jang Yeong-sil, basé sur leur intérêt commun pour l’astronomie.

    “Cheon-mun: Mod-neun-da” (천문: 하늘에 묻는다), ou “Forbidden Dream” est un film historique sud-coréen, datant de 2019, réalisé par Heo Jin-ho, à qui l’on doit également “The Last Princess” (2016). Les acteurs principaux sont Choi Min-sik, qu’on a pu voir dans “The Battle: Roar to Victory” (2018), Han Suk-kyu, qu’on a pu voir dans “The Royal Tailor” (2014), Shin Goo, qu’on a pu voir dans “Proof of Innocence” (2015), Kim Hong-pa, qu’on a pu voir dans “Svaha: The Sixth Finger” (2019), Heo Joon-ho, qu’on a pu voir dans “Illang : The Wolf Brigade” (2018), et Kim Tae-woo, qu’on a pu voir dans “Rampant” (2018). Ce métrage est paru le 26 décembre 2019 en Corée.

L’histoire proposée par “Forbidden Dream” nous emmène au Royaume Joseon sous l’ère de Sejong le Grand (Han Suk-kyu), qui avait un gros appétit pour l’innovation et une tendance à sortir des sentiers battus. À cette époque, ce qui allait devenir la Corée, bien que s’agissant d’un état souverain, avait accepté l’autorité de l’empereur chinois et était sous l’influence immense de la Dynastie de Ming. L’étude de l’astronomie était interdite aux Coréens, car le ciel était considéré comme sacré. Le roi va cependant prendre la décision controversée de nommer l’ancien esclave Jang Yeong-sil (Choi Min-sik) comme officier scientifique pour sa pensée créative. Ce dernier va inventer plusieurs machines et appareillages qui vont contribuer aux progrès technologiques, et, progressivement le roi Sejong va se lier d’amitié pour cet inventeur, car c’est le seul homme dans son environnement qui semble partager sa vision visant à améliorer la vie des citoyens de Joseon.

Le scénario concocté par Jeong Beom-sik et Lee Ji-min prend, bien évidemment, quelques libertés avec les faits historiques tels qu’ils sont connus. Mais après tout, nous sommes face à un drame historique et non pas un documentaire. Il y a essentiellement eu une controverse sur la scène où le Roi Sejong fait brûler le globe céleste. Cela dit, l’essentiel est ailleurs, et c’est le personnage de Jang Yeong-sil et du Roi Sejong est les points forts du film. Choi Min-sik et Han Suk-kyu font partie des valeurs sûres du cinéma coréen, mais ce ne sont pas seulement leurs talents d’acteur qui les démarquent, mais la chimie qui les unit, poursuivant une vision commune. Il est difficile de séparer les caractéristiques de ces deux protagonistes, car elles sont étroitement liées : leur évolution personnelle, leurs conflits intérieurs, leurs émotions, et même les crises auxquelles ils sont confrontés.

Heo Jin-ho, le réalisateur, met en place un lien parfaitement crédible entre ces deux personnages centraux. Ils s’aiment non pas pour le génie de l’autre, mais parce qu’ils sont connectés à un niveau personnel. Leur relation se développe dans la conversation qu’ils partagent sous les étoiles, dans ce qui s’avère probablement être l’une des scènes fortes du métrage, avec celle où Jang Yeong-sil dessine une carte des étoiles sur l’une des parois en papier de la chambre du Roi, en symbolisant les étoiles par des trous dans le papier pour laisser la lumière d’une lanterne. À l’opposé, on remarquera qu’il n’y a pas réellement d’antagoniste. Les véritables menaces pour les ambitions du Roi proviennent des limites de l’époque, du fait de la pression massive de son puissant voisin.

L’intrigue est quelque peu brouillonne, mettant en scène l’un des événements réels lorsque le palanquin du Roi se casse, offrant une belle opportunité aux opposants à Jang Yeong-sil, de lui faire endosser la responsabilité. Cet accident est mélangé avec le conflit qui oppose la Corée et la Chine, la querelle entre le Roi Sejong et ses sujets ainsi que la création du système d’écriture coréen, le Hangeuul. Pour ce dernier point, il sera préférable de visionner “The King’s Letters” (2019) réalisé par Jo Cheol-hyeon. Ceci étant dit, dans l’ensemble, la comparaison la plus proche que l’on peut faire de “Forbidden Dream” est un autre film historique de l’ère Joseon, soit “The Face Reader” (2013) de Han Jae-rim. En effet, il utilise un développement similaire avec des personnages charmants, une grande alchimie, des scènes drôles, des échanges sémantiques et une fin émotionnelle.

Les valeurs de productions présentées pour “Forbidden Dream” sont d’un très bon niveau. La photographie proposée par Seong Jeong-hoon est tout à fait remarquable, avec de nombreux visuels magnifiés par les jeux de lumière mis en place par Lee Sung-hwan. Les décors et les costumes sont splendides, permettant pleinement aux spectateurs de s’immerger dans l’époque. La bande musicale et sonore orchestrée par Jo Seong-woo et Park Yong-joon sont absolument enchanteresses. Le montage signé Kim Hyeong-joo permet d’obtenir un film de 132 minutes captivant malgré un rythme relativement modéré.

En conclusion, “Forbidden Dream” est un très beau film historique disposant d’une histoire originale, d’une intrigue légèrement absconse et d’un développement singulier. Le rythme est relativement mesuré permettant de bien présenter la relation forte entre les deux principaux protagonistes de l’histoire, le récit légèrement compliqué par endroits et la narration fait plusieurs allers-retours entre plusieurs époques courant sur vingt années. La photographie est très belle avec un bel effort sur la lumière, la bande musicale accompagne agréablement le récit et le montage est propre et structuré. La distribution offre de très bonnes prestations, cependant pleinement éclipsées par les somptueuses performances de Choi Min-sik et de Han Suk-kyu dans une alchimie stupéfiante. Un film que l’on ne peut que recommander !
