I love the college of winterhold. everyone there is casually deranged and there's like an alarming number of students and staff who threaten you immediately when they meet you. it's always one of the first questlines I do. which makes it even funnier when you get made the arch-mage of the college. I'm level 12 and got through this questline knowing exactly 3 spells. what do you mean you want me to lead the college. this school CANNOT be an accredited institution

Danny loses his parents due to their own lack of safety in the lab (death? Coma? People finally putting their foot down about the Fenton's endangering their kids? Idk pick). Jazz can't take him in due to being in college and living on its campus (and he didnt want to force her into an apartment just to keep him, he saw the prices and knows she'll have to work to make rent) and Danny fears the only place he can go to is... Vlad. (Sam's parents would never let him live with her and Tucker's place doesn't have the room)

Vlad's been lording it over Danny, smug about it all, after all he IS Danny's godfather and he has the space and money to provide for the boy in his time of need.

Only, when digging into Danny's files, his social worker discovers Vlad isn't Danny's godfather, he was meant to be but the Fenton's forgot to send/sign in the final paperwork (even if those documents were the only contact they had with Vlad over the years before the reunion)

No Danny's godparent, the person to take him should anything happen to the Fenton's is....

I’ve been Completely Normal about hickeygibsontozer lately and instead of writing coherent words about it I made this chart on (my interpretation of) their fucked up dynamic:

Canon Era: Billy mends Tozer’s clothes sometimes. He acts annoyed when Tozer asks him to do it but also acts annoyed when Tozer asks Armitage to do it instead so like ??? They do not interact in any capacity except to plan the mutiny but by god do they share an insane amount of Homoerotically Charged Looks™️.

Post-Rescue AU: They all live together in an incredibly tiny flat in London. They share a bare mattress and Hickey always sleeps in the middle but sometimes Billy will use his long legs to touch Tozer with his cold feet and Tozer can never tell if he’s doing it intentionally or not. When Tozer leaves for work in the mornings Billy will sometimes begrudgingly give him a little kiss on the cheek but more often than not it’s only after full on frenching hickey right in front of him. Tozer doesn’t know Billy’s last name and at this point it’s obviously too late to ask but he’s also not sure if he should call him Billy since it’s a more intimate nickname so he tries to address him by name as little as possible.

Modern AU: They text each other* to discuss Hickey when needed, Billy doesn’t put Tozer into his contacts until like a year and a half after they’ve met.

*Example of text exchange below (Tozer’s green, Gibson’s gray, the “him” in question is, of course, Hickey):
