my rambling and explanations under the cut

when it's Bee there's an implication that he is not that good actually and it's just a mask he wears for people, which is interesting. this side is for Starscream's trauma, like he wanted to be who he is but it has a dark turn of beginning to worship Bee. Star begins to open up for Bee, while he condemns Star for his past actions and declares for him to change, while controlling every action he makes. Bumblebee controls Starscream and forces him to make certain decisions he doesn't want to make, and when Starscream tries to object, he puts pressure on him with words like "you haven't changed at all" or "I'm doing this for you" literally making Starscream feel guilty.

when it's Starscream there's a turn for Bee to be traumatized as he thought that Star is a good person, but actually he is just as awful as everybody says. here Bee worships Star and forgives him every mistake he makes, either good or bad. Star makes Bee do things he doesn't want to, things that hurt Bee or the ones he loves, but he can't object because then he'll lose Starscream. Starscream here too makes Bee feel guilty by saying things like "oh so you don't love me after all" or "I'm doing this for you"

Endless Merthur scenes (11/∞)

Okay so we jest about a kiss being all it took for Colin to absolutely plummet into his feelings, (as we should it was so very entertaining), but there is also something so sweet and tender and heartbreaking about it.

Colin has been with many women during his travels, and this ill fitting attempt at preforming what he thinks people want from him and what will carve him a place in society has led to all of them being casual. He dose exactly what boys his age talk about, what his older brothers did and told him to do, what he thought would put things in perspective and make them make sense. The casual distance of it all with his caviller attitude was, as Violet said, armour. Armour that is certainly safer than true genuine feelings, especially after the hurt of season one and his feelings of a complete lack of purpose in season two, but not what he actually wants or desires.

Colin is sensitive, he's loving, he's romantic. We can see from his journals how poetically he writes of the woman he was with even in a casual, non romantic setting, and it is a steep difference to how his 'friends' speak of the woman they were with. He questions how something can be so intimate and yet so distant, so lonely, because that's not what he wants. He wants a genuine, bone deep connection. He wants to know the person, he wants to love them and be loved by them, he wants to care, he wants it to be a mutual act of emotion and passion and feeling and tenderness and love.

And he felt more of that from one kiss with Penelope than any woman he slept with in months. And that's only like half of what he realised in that moment. No shit the boy was down bad waking up in sweat and sprawled across his blankets. Who wouldn't be?

ALWAYS GOING BACK TO "TWO CUT LINES" and the whole team understanding that Buck would prefer to die with Eddie than be left behind having failed to save someone. When he saw Buck's face after he got out, Eddie knew it too.

To Buck, wanting to die for someone is the only way he knows how to love them, because he thinks that is all he has to give, to show he should be kept around (as a body, as spare parts;) His parents taught him this, even though he didn't know about Daniel. Buck intrinsically knows what it is to exist having "failed" to save someone and it is his deepest fear to have that happen again.

Eddie saw that Buck would rather die with him than fail at dying for him and it fucking terrified him and also it terrified him to think that Buck and Christopher, two halves of his heart, could be split up if his stopped beating and so he changed his will, legally forced Buck to stay and he made sure that they can never have two cut lines but now Buck has to love Chris and Eddie by staying for them instead of destroying himself for them...

I wanted to draw something soft and fluffy for Valentine's Day and here I am days late. Oh well, but enjoy the piece I titled "Comfort." They are so in love and OP knows the best kind of pick me up he can have is cuddling with Jazz.
