Welcome welcome Bridgerton folks.

Today a new adventure begins.

It start sweet and tender, but it will get spicy already in the second episode.

It's a modern AU and they are both in their 20s. I hope you'll enjoy it.

First thing first (of first time first 😅): a kiss

Being in a room with Colin was always going to be magical for Pen.

By now, she had enough therapy and self-awareness to know that she was not going to change her heart. If 5 years and several thousands of miles apart didn't do it, what else could?

Still, Colin was back after years of travelling, and somehow he was even more handsome than before.

He smiled at her and she felt herself blushing. Incredible how this guy could just show up on a random night and it was like been 15 all over again.

Thing is, she could not complain. He always had been charming, but the air around him now was different. He looked.. secured, confident, in peace. He looked so hot Pen could barely look at him without thinking of all the things she wish she could do with him.

At every word, every laugh, she could feel herself falling a bit deeper. It was bittersweet. He told everyone that this was a temporary stop before starting again.

She would have to soak up her time with him. Cherish every single second.

That why she said yes when he asked her to remain after all the other people were gone. " I want to show you something," and she nodded even before he could ask her.

Now they were going on the roof of Eloise's apartment, a blanket under his arm, a couple of beers in his other hand.

Her heart was beating so fast she thought he must have heard it. He turned around after opening the door and his smile did funny thing to her stomach too.

It felt good, being in love.

She wonder how good it would feel been returned. Pen shakes her head. Now was not the time.

She tookm as it next to him, and took a deep breath as she looked at Colin, memorizing his face. The curve of his jaw; the shape of his eyes; he was speaking to her, she realized.. "what?"

He laughed (not at her but with her, a difference so clear she could feel it in her bones) and then spoke again. "Can I ask you something?"

She nodded. He could ask her the moon and she would find a way.

"Can I kiss you?"

For a moment she thought she heard wrong. There was no way that Colin - "I've been back a day and I promised myself I would wait longer, but I saw you and I could not resist. Can I kiss you, Pen?"

Oh. She pinched herself. It hurt like hell.

She thought of something to say. In her confusion, the first thing that come out of her mouth was "I've never been kissed".

She put her hands over her mouth, try to not look as mortified as she was feeling.

Colin did not seem fazed though.

He turned her head around.

"Why haven't you been kissed?"

Again, genuine curiosity.

"Some boys tried. Even a couple of girls..." She thought about saying something about waiting for the right one. It came up more "I was waiting for you."

She didn't have the courage to look at him in that moment.

"Pen! Look at me, please"

She steady herself, and looked.

Colin was looking at her.

"I'm sorry it took me so long to see you."

Oh gosh.

How do you react when you finally hear what you were waiting your whole life to hear?

Colin was touching her lips with the tip of his fingers, and she let her mouth loose. It seemed to have worked before, somehow.

"Ask me again," she said and his eyes sparkled.

"Pen, can I kiss you?"

She nodded.

Are there even words to describe perfection?

Their lips met midway and their eyes close, as they took their first step together.

She felt his lips on her and she trembled.

It was worth waiting another life just t experience this moment.

Soft, so soft, his hand found her cheek and she put her hand in his hair. Soft, so soft. His lips against her, teasing her with a tip of tongue. She opened her mouth and it was like breathing. Kissing him was like loving him. So easy she didn't have to think, just be herself.

Their tongues met as well, a flame of something else going through her.

Desire. Oh yes, she desired him. And it seems he was on the same page.

They passed the night like that.

Building the foundation of their new relationship with a layer of kiss, some confessions long overdue and lots of talking.

And the end, when they went back inside with the promise of seeing each other that evening, only one thing remain steady in her heart.

This was Colin, and this was home.

Finally watching Bridgerton S3, and I’m so glad for the kanthony content and polin would’ve suffered if they’d stayed in the show because their chemistry is just unmatched

Pen thought she might have dreamed the whole night.

No way Colin declared he wanted her and proceed to give her the best first kiss ever, and while she had not experienced it before, she knew the stories... Usually a first kiss was not all of that magical. Maybe it was because it was her and it was Colin. Everything they did seem kinda magical to her.

She was, again, at the door of his apartment and she was almost waiting for the moment he would start to treat her as a friend.

Instead, what happened, was that Colin opened the door, gave her his brightest smile and then a light kiss on her lips. So, maybe it was real.

"Sorry, I should have asked, I didn't know if you wanted-" he was adorable when he rumbled, Pen observed.

"Don't worry Colin. It's just, unexpected. I love welcoming you like this. Every day for the rest of my days".

She didn't have to worry about waiting for such declarations. Yesterday they talked at length about the future and them as a couple.

They both confessed they were yearning for this for quite some time, and they both laugh at their idiocy. But they were on the same page now. And they both know this was not a phase or temporary. They both were fully invested since the beginning.

That was the reason for seeing each other tonight. Well, that... And other reasons, at least Pen was hoping there were also other reasons.

She waited to damn long and she was ready. Possibly in that moment.

They ate and talk, laying out plans for their announcement as a couple (next Sunday on the bridgerton brunch). Pen was to ask her boss if she could do all remote (so she could come with Colin on his travels, as by his ask) and Colin was looking for a permanent place in London, so they could have a home base to stay when they were in the city (and eventually, when they were going to have kids).

Then, they looked at each other and it was like a magnet was at work.

They find themselves on the sofa, Pen on Colin's lap, kissing and touching every part they could reach.

Colin nibbled on her neck, before asking in a very deep voice "can I try something, Pen?"

She nodded. She wanted to try everything with him.

Colin flipped their position, then threw a pillow on the floor and knelt in front of her. She had a camisole and her lacy bra was barely visible. He took his time to unbutton her slowly, and Pen gulped when he was done. "Beautiful," he whispered.

Colin cupped her through the bra, teasing her. "May I?" He asked again and she responded by unclasping her bra herself. "Wow, Pen" Colin exhaled as his fingers were tracing her areola lightly. Her nipple was fastly caught it n between his fingers, making her moan. Colin looked at her with a wicked and deeply erotic smile, as he lowered his head to touch the sensitive skin with his tongue. Speechless. This was a new side of Colin she could not wait to explore. She just nodded as he skimmed over her auburn curls, "yup, eager and wet," he said as he went to touch her folds, using her wetness to lube his fingers.

Colin laughed loudly. "Not yet, love. Not yet." As he settled her on his side, kissing the top of her head sweetly.

She always imagined cuddle was as good as people told her, but somehow, it was even better than her imagination. These days everything was.

Francesca Bridgerton really info dumped about her special interest to John Stirling and he said, “I can’t think of anything witty to say in response but I can leave abruptly to give her a grand gesture relating to what she just told me.”
