The realization that the scene is insinuating "you can't have your cake and eat it too" which literally means you can't have two incompatible things or it's impossible to have two good things at the same time 😭.

Just realized that in 3 weeks (the season just started here) my kinda homophobic parents will see Buck kiss a man, and for a moment I got worried they'll be like "why they gotta make everything gay now?"

But then I remembered 4 years ago when S3 ended with Buck and Eddie single, and my mom wondered out loud who Buck was gonna end up with(since Eddie had that moment with Ana), and my dad, who never makes gay jokes, just said "He should end up with Diaz lol"
