"she's my everything, my Penelope"
I feel stupid for not seeing it earlier
"who do you live for?" "Penelope." "what do you try for?" "Telemachus"
Odysseus lies about everything, all the time
"deep down I would trade the world to see my son and wife"
but he never lied about this
"I have to see her" "but we'll die" "I know"

Our intelligence has gained the information that Russia is considering committing a terrorist act at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant - a terrorist act with the release of radiation. They have prepared everything for this.
Unfortunately, I already had to remind more than once that radiation knows no national borders, and who it hits is determined only by the direction of the wind.
We are sharing all available information with our partners - everyone in the world. All the evidence. Europe, America, China, Brazil, India, the Arab world, Africa - all countries, absolutely everyone must know this. International organizations. All of them.
There should never be any terrorist attacks on nuclear power plants, anywhere. This time it should not be like with Kakhovka: the world has been warned, therefore, the world can and must act.

Idk if this is a hot take or not but I feel the need to stress: no discussion about the bombings of hiroshima and nagasaki has any reason to mention Japanese war crimes. Literally nothing a government does justifies killing random people who happen to live in that government's territory. It is genocidal rhetoric to act as if a group of people can do something that justifes killing massive amounts of them.
There is an idea in western culture that we can judge warcrimes based on how "good" of a group were the victims. This dates back to the conquest of the Aztec empire, where things that horrified Europeans at the time where justified by bringing up terrible things done by the Aztec government. People defend the Spanish empire on those grounds today. It's so pervasive that it'll even come up when people are talking agaisnt genocides (they'll bring up native groups being peaceful as the reason why westward expansion was bad, as if them being human wasn't enough).
Would Russia be justified in nuking the US because the US government committed warcrimes in the middle east? (Actually speaking of Russia, you'll see this rhetoric when tankies bring up Ukraine's nazi problem.) Because if not, and you think hiroshima and nagasaki were justified, then you have to give a reason other then the fact that you judge the lives of westerners and nonwesterners differently.
If someone brings up crimes a group committed, real or imaginary, when arguing about atrocities committed agaisnt them, they've already told you that they don't believe people of that group have rights, that they believe anything can be done to them if it's justified.
There is no crime someone can commit, that's so bad that it justifies killing a stranger who happens to speak the same language as them.

Mene mene tekel upharsin. … Part 2
Tumblr media
Mene mene tekel upharsin. The Belshazzar's feast… Bloodless hand… God has pronounced the judgment … Part 2
The masters of empire laughed him to scorn, and then encouraged their MotherOfAllProxyArmies in Ukraine to concentrate to the Donbass and the Azov pursuant to conquering Novorossiya and Crimea once and for all … then on to Moscow.
This war was anything but “unprovoked Russian aggression”. This war was spawned and nurtured for decades in the secret chambers of the imperial dark lords in London and Washington. It was a war the empire knew Russia would fight. The imperial suzerains simply deceived themselves into believing it was a war Russia could not win.
As was imperative, Russia did choose to fight — notwithstanding there were many reasons to suppose they were insufficiently prepared to win in the event the full weight of the NATO countries were thrown against them.
And Yet NATO lost USA lost is loosing and the more it continues to escalate ... the more it pushes USA to nuclear annihilation.
Empire's beast Israel was brought down on knees recently by Iran. 20 F-35 destroyed by Iranian strike... penetrating all defenses of USA... Israel west combined... Just imagine what will happen if Russia with far advanced nuclear weapons... strikes USA and USA is unable to penetrate Russian defenses.
The Empire is in ruins while it prints billions to pocket in democrats pockets somehow burying itself deep in sand wish thinking good Russians will not strike them with nukes for their insolence and war.
Destroying Americans...not taking care of poor Americans.... not providing them free basic health care... amenities .... or support from natural disasters while burning American Tax payers money for corruption .... money laundering.... destroying freedom of speech and manipulating LGBTQ community... Democrats are pushing US to extinction. The paper tiger can't beat itself out of Nazism.
To be continued.......

Opinion: Kamala Harris is not for Israel or the Jews; Trump was
Kamala Harris (and Joe Biden, pretty much consigned to total irrelevancy by now thanks to the [un]Democratic coup) can say whatever she likes about supporting Israel (and she does spare half a breath to say she'll, OF COURSE, always support Israel's right to defend herself! ... and then spends the rest of the paragraph on verbally stabbing Israel in the back, talking about "how [Israel] defends itself matters", ceasefires, making deals with Hamas, engaging with the Palestinians, stopping Palestinian casualties, etc., which is telling in itself and just lends even more weight to the endless anti-Israel propaganda out there). But I go by actions, not words. They can say anything they want; they can go to Holocaust memorials or condemn antisemitism as much as they please. Words cost very little, and placate the overwhelmingly pro-Israel American population (while still, of course, inciting more blood libel and adding weight to the propaganda). But I don't see Harris or Biden ever, ever coming in decisively on Israel's side where it genuinely counts, when they didn't absolutely have to. Kamala Harris/Joe Biden Actions:
Did not tell a pro-Hamas, anti-Israel group that she wouldn't talk with them. This is a generous recounting of events, actually; it looks more like she said "sure, I'll talk with you about enacting an arms embargo with Israel". Once the backlash about that started happening, an anonymous aid seems to have taken it on themself to say "of course VP Harris has always been very clear about supporting Israel". (No, she hasn't.) (It's pretty telling that Harris, so far as I am aware, hasn't seen fit to even bother to clarify that herself.)

For more actual "actions" by any American politician and unbiased by any commentary, check out https://justfacts.votesmart.org/. You can filter by issues of concern to you and see how they voted, what they said, what positions they held, etc. (I personally find Biden and Harris' track record on abortion, coercive abortion, born-alive survivors of abortion, and even infant pain absolutely horrifying, but I understand that might not mean much to some.)
In contrast, we have Donald Trump. Trump has been continually vocal in his support of Israel. There is no double-speak like Harris that I've been able to find. His term was full of unprecedented, active support for Israel and the Jews. Media claims he "criticized" the war in Gaza -- but when I actually look, all I see is that he criticized the fact that Oct 7th could have happened in the first place (i.e., Israel was not protected enough and did not receive enough support from the Biden administration) and that the war was still going on due to Israel's unprecedented kid gloves-care with Palestinian civilian casualties. He advised Israel to mind their "PR war", saying "victory is necessary" and needs to happen quickly. Not "ceasefire", not "compromise", not "dealing with Hamas". Not -- in contrast to Harris and Biden -- wailing "oh no, it's Israel's job to think of the enemy's civilians and to prioritize their wellbeing above their own civilians!" It's my belief, based on what I see and hear, that Trump wants victory and peace for Israel over Hamas. He wants October 7th to never happen again. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-israel-gaza-finish-problem-rcna141905 Trump Actions, taken usually without any conditions or concessions required from Israel Abraham Accords, specifically meant to pressure Palestinians (no Oct. 7th massacre while Trump was in office. Pity Harris can't say the same.)

But that's enough for me, at least. I'd invite anyone interested to check it out for themselves, but not to be fooled by the rampant corruption, spin, and bias in most mainstream media (although you'll notice I can still utilize them as sources even though they're blatantly hostile to my viewpoint).

I want to mention once again that Ukraine spent this winter with a large percentage of our energy system destroyed by russian bombs and the largest nuclear power plant held hostage by russians - which, I remind, is still the case, russians still torture the personnel of Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and still keep military equipment with explosives inside the nuclear plant, endangering most of Europe.
Through the winter, when power consumption is the highest because we need heating, Ukrainian energy infrastructure persisted under bombs, despite all destructions. Thanks to Ukrainian Armed Forces and energy specialists, we are meeting spring with power in our homes.

They are not idiots to start a full invasion.
24.02.2022
They are not idiots to violate international conventions
Shell the agreed humanitarian corridors and kill volunteers and journalists. Destroy cultural, and educational institutions, medical centres and critical infrastructure.
They are not idiots to shell the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. (The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station)
Shell it.
They are not idiots to explode the Khahovka Damn
Exploded it.
They are not idiots to explode The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station.
Or they are?

Mene mene tekel upharsin. The Belshazzar's feast… Bloodless hand… God has pronounced the judgment …
The single most meaningful consequence of the NATO/Ukraine proxy war against Russia is that most of the major geopolitical players outside the imperial realm are suddenly in open defiance of the capricious "rules-based international order" and its rapacious monetary system.
The catalyst for this rebellion was that Vladimir Putin’s Russia stood alone amongst the kings, princes, presidents, and prime ministers of a trembling world, turned to the masters of empire, and said, “Not an inch further. In fact, you must withdraw to your 1997 status, and take all your armaments with you, beginning with your missiles in Poland and Romania.”

"NOIR VEERS INTO APOCALYPTIC SCI-FI IN ROBERT ALDRICH'S 1955 MASTERPIECE..."
FILM: "Kiss Me Deadly"
DIRECTOR/PRODUCER: Robert Aldrich
SCREENPLAY: A.I. Bezzerides
CINEMATOGRAPHY: Ernest Lazslo
DISTRIBUTION: United Artists
"Genres collide in the great Hollywood movies of the midfifties cold-war thaw. With the truce in Korea and the red scare on the wane, ambitious directors seemed freer to mix and match and even ponder the new situation. The western goes south in "The Searchers"; the cartoon merges with the musical in "The Girl Can’t Help It." Science fiction becomes pop sociology in "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." And noir veers into apocalyptic sci-fi in Robert Aldrich’s 1955 masterpiece "Kiss Me Deadly," which, briefly described, tracks one of the sleaziest, stupidest, most brutal detectives in American movies through a nocturnal, inexplicably violent labyrinth to a white-hot vision of cosmic annihilation.
A crass private eye looking for the big score, Mike Hammer plays with fire and gets burned. From the perversely backward title crawl (outrageously accompanied by orgasmic heavy breathing) through the climactic explosion, "Kiss Me Deadly" is sensationally baroque, eschewing straight exposition for a jarring succession of bizarre images, bravura sound matching, and encoded riddles the likes of which had not been seen in Hollywood since Orson Welles kissed the industry good-bye. Like one of "MAD’s" parodies, the movie unfolds in a deranged cubist space, amid the debris of Western civilization — shards of opera, deserted museums, molls who paraphrase Shakespeare, mad references to Greek mythology and the Old Testament. A nineteenth-century poem furnishes the movie’s major clue."
