Summary: Percy had a whirlwind month long affair with Viktor Krumov and now he is pregnant with his child. Sadly he can not get in touch with his child's other father.

Enter Dudley Dursley who is keen to reconnect with his cousin Dudley who creates an unlikely friend in Percy.

udley and Harry will work togther to get Viktor back into Percy's life, after all, he deserves to at least be heard out by the father of his child as far as they are concerned.

Summry: Molly looks at her empty table, a table that should have been full with all 7 of her children (8 with Harry) but now it's empty. She has lost Fred to death, but she had lost her other children to the ravages of grief.

So she sits at her empty table as she thinks about what they lost and wonders if it was worth it. If her boy was the price worth paying for "peace."

Draco Malfoy/Neville Longbottom

Summary: Draco has been struggling for 8 long years, ever since his Veela heritage was unhidden from him. Now he is hiding away from the rest of the world, and himself. Or he would be if his garden wasn't magically feral and trying to eat him.

Summary: Remus Lupin has had to take one Siirus BLack to court to pay for the damges he caused. A nother fun filled day in the courtroom of one Judge Judy Scheindlin.

Summary: Sirius cant move, he cant do anyhthing, he can barely breath. Every bad thing that ha sever happened to and because of him races through his paralysied body and he cant do anything about.

Summary: The Marauders are animals. Sirius and Regulus are leaving their herd, the Blackmanes, they want a new start. They will find their new family on the way as long as they stick together.

He really needs a hug, so he goes to find his possibly a boyfriend lover Moony, the idea that maybe Moony is a werewolf too has rattled around his brain, but unlike Regulus, he knows better.

Summary: Sirius came from the veil to find to his family.

He found them, he found them ensconded in The Burrow.

Harry was there and alive and still carrying on. And so was Remus.

But this time the love of Sirius' life was married, to his cousin no less.

Sirius has to be the brave one, now, the mature one but he really doesnt want to be.

Summary: Sirius is in ana rrange dmarrigae, one to a cruel man. If she wants to save her brother and her werewolf lover, the love of ehr life, she has to go through with it.

Maybe one day she will be reunited with Remus, maybe she will be wrapped in remus arms and she in hers. Maybe, but until then Sirius will hope. She will hope that their dreams become reality.

Opinions Part 2

Part 2 of the opinions- this time, on ships that seem to be pretty popular. Sorry again for how long this is!

Hinny- Okay. It was the absolute best in the books, complete bi4bi and I was THERE for it. In the movies it was quite bad, and GInny was just generally so incredibly flat as a character. I like the idea of this coming into play, but maybe not as endgame.

Linny- Love this. The whole thing. I can see it being friends to lovers and then back to friends, but it could be something else, too.

Perciver- Why did nobody tell me about this? Hello? It's completely adorable and I love it beyond words. Absolutely endgame.

Romione- there's an artist (@rivaldii) who I've been following, and they do the cutest Romione posts that have totally won me over. Also, I've been reading the book series again (all already bought, not supporting You-Know-Who) and Ron is much sweeter there. He's a bit of an asshole in the movies at times.

Drarry- Welllll, okay. There's a lot of dickheadery from Malfoy, and I'm not sure how to address that. If he was just a sarcastic emo kid that would be fine, but he's like genuinely kind of a racist? Idk someone convince me, I'm not quite sold. I do have some an idea where he does something over a summer away from his parents (maybe when his fathe goes to Azkaban) which shows him how dumb he's been and then he apologizes. Like individually. And Harry's like woahhh.... okay now hold up.

Neville and Luna- I loved this even when I was, like, eight and still thought I was straight lol. They feel like they would be at the very least really good friends who sort of got each other, they were both singled out as odd at Hogwarts, but I think it could be a romantic thing too.

Katie and Leanne- Just you wait. I'm going to develop them into the lesbianest.

Parvender- It's sweet! It works much better in the books as I feel like Lavender is really heavy on the straight vibes in the movies. I suppose we shall see..... hmmmm.....

Dramione- Nope. Absolutely nope. My boy Draco is gay as absolute fuck and even has some internalized homophobia, yay.....

Hedric- this was Harry's bi awakening and you can't tell me otherwise.

Wolfstar- Yeah, I'm boring, but this is my favorite and will be included.

Deamus- Wolfstar variant right in Harry's room?! I love it and they're perfect for each other.

Harry and Ron- You know, it could happen. I think I might like Ron and Hermione a little too much at the moment to consider it fully.

Draco and Pansy (Dransy?!)- This happened because neither one had figured out that they were gay yet. This was how they figured it out.

Hermione and Pansy (oh, boy. Hansy? Like Handsy?)- Yeah, she was Hermione's bi awakening. Idk if endgame but shit went down fs.

Jegulus- It's not too relevant to the era because.... they're all dead (sobbing).... but I really want to hint at it.

Jily- It has to have been endgame for how I plan to start it, but it's cute anyway. Bi4bi.

Barty and one of them (can't decide at the moment)- There's a whole year where Barty is a teacher. Therefore he's in Hogwarts. Therefore I can be in his brain. And it will be gay.

Harmione- I see them more as best friends who are both bi, and talk about their crushes together.

Apparently I had more to yap about than I thought, sorry for the length of this. Lmk if I forgot some!

Hermione Granger - Books she'd think you'd like, she'd put a lot of thought into what you would you would like in a book before picking. Also Jewelry, mainly necklaces lockets specifically she'd put a picture of the both of you inside.

Ginny Weasley - Candy from Honeydukes, she'd get you a bag of your favorites and have her brothers help decorating it, it would be messily tied in a big red ribbon. She'd give you little muggle figurines she has from her dad always bringing them home for her, like the little ones of animals and stuff holding flowers.

Lavender Brown - Flowers, she'd get you a big bouquet of your favorite flowers adorned with ribbons and bows. Candy too, she'd pick out sweets she'd think you like from Honeydukes and get you a big bag of them.

Luna Lovegood - A stuffed animal, she'd find one that reminded her of you and she'd instantly buy it, she'd have it all set up in a nice bow and everything. She would also bake for you, making you a big batch of your favorite baked goods, she'd give you a basket full of them decorated cutely with stars adorned around the basket.

Cho Chang - Bracelets so you two can match, it would have charms on it that she picked out specifically for you tailored to what you liked. She'd get you a goody bag filled with things like candy, your favorite snacks, Either Tea bags or Hot cocoa mix (whichever you'd prefer) she'd have smaller things in it too like lipgloss and face masks.

Nymphadora Tonks - CD's or Vinyl's of your favorite artists, she'd have them wrapped messily in wrapping paper of your favorite color. And she'd give you little trinkets too that she'd come across that she thought you'd like.

Pansy Parkinson - Expensive jewelry, Diamond necklaces, pearl earrings, the works, she'd go all out making sure it was wrapped gorgeously in beautiful wrapping paper. She'd also have a box of gourmet chocolates for you as well.

Astoria Greengrass - Perfume, she'd go through every perfume she could find in order to find a scent that would fit you perfectly. She'd also get you a lot of clothes, Pretty shirts, fancy skirts, dresses adorned with expensive jewels, she'd have them wrapped in gorgeous wrapping paper adorned with a big bow on top.

HP Girls Reblog Fic Library!

As a lot of Harry Potter fans have seen, female characters often don't get a lot of realization outside romance in either HP canon or fanfics. To help combat this, I'm starting a "lending library" of exceptions to the rule. (This library is for a very specific subset of fics, so guidelines follow.)

Guidelines:

Fic must star a canon female HP character. "Star" means that the fic would fall apart if you removed this character or replaced her actions with a one-sentence summary. "Canon female HP character," in this context, means a named female character from the seven books. Characters genderbent as female don't count here. Bonus points for finding fics with characters dismissed by canon (Pansy Parkinson, Fleur Delacour, Cho Chang, the Patils, Lavender Brown, Marietta Edgecombe, etc.).

Fic must not center a romantic/sexual relationship. A reference to such a relationship is fine, but if replacing all the actions related to the pairing with a one-sentence summary means the fic no longer has a plot, the fic doesn't qualify here.

Fic's female character must have agency in the story. She must make a decision and take action upon it; preferably, the action she takes should not be limited to causing her own sacrificial death. Fics composed of narrations of a character's thoughts as things happen to her (e.g. dying, transforming into a werewolf) do not count.

If I Knew You Were Coming, I'd've Baked a Cake by Pitry. General audiences. Post-war Lavender Brown buys Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor, hires Dudley Dursley, and becomes a pillar of the community while learning to deal with her werewolf-attack aftereffects. ~9K words.

Cooking for New Year by yearofthesnape. General audiences. First-year Cho Chang looks for a way to hold on to her Korean and Chinese heritage at Hogwarts, with support from Severus Snape. ~2K words.

Cho and Lavender were villainized by the narative in favor of Ginny and Hermione

Rowling despises teenage girls with traditionally feminine interests. She only treats those who don’t want to be like “other girls” or the pick-me girls well in the narrative. It’s clear she projects a deeply personal issue onto certain female archetypes, which makes me think she must have a lot of unresolved resentment, probably dating back to her childhood. She portrays Lavender as foolish for being desperate over Ron, when in reality, that’s not foolish at all—it’s completely normal for a teenage girl experiencing her first relationship and not knowing how to handle her emotions. She also mocks Lavender and the Patil twins’ interests, like Divination, girls’ magazines, or gossip, as if those things were inherently frivolous and shallow. It’s as if being a girl and enjoying “girly” things automatically makes you stupid or as if femininity itself is incompatible with having depth and other, more “serious” interests.

Likewise, through Harry’s praise of Ginny for not crying—contrasted with Cho, who does—she implies that sentimentality, emotional expression, or a lack of self-control are negative traits, while repressing emotions (which is traditionally associated with masculinity) is a positive thing that makes you “tougher” or “stronger.” Narratively, Rowling always favors Hermione for “not being like other girls” and turns Ginny into the ultimate pick-me girl. She’s a character who barely matters or has any relevance throughout the series until she suddenly transforms into the perfect cishet teenage boy fantasy: the girl who is super hot and sexually desirable but at the same time doesn’t waste time with “girly stuff” because she’s too busy acting just as aggressive as any macho guy, being hyper-focused on sports, and being “one of the boys,” cracking jokes, being rough, and acting cool. She’s a girl bro, the embodiment of the perfect woman according to male fantasy, not female. It’s as if she were designed by a hormone-driven teenage boy rather than a woman in her thirties.

Ginny is a disaster of a character from a gender analysis perspective—truly atrocious. And then there’s Luna, who doesn’t bother anyone because she’s too weird, yet she’s accepted by the “not-like-other-girls” girls precisely because of that weirdness. She’s the Manic Pixie Dream Girl, completing the trifecta of contemporary misogynistic female stereotypes embodied by Hermione, Ginny, and Luna—the only teenage female characters who are curiously treated positively and praised by the narrative. The rest are torn down at some point, specifically for reasons directly related to their gender.

“How many times removed are they again, Miss Granger?” the Honorable Miss Weasley asked, glaring at the glass of ratafia in her hand with pure loathing.

“I believe Lord Potter is Viscount Malfoy’s third cousin four times removed,” Miss Granger said, her hands folded in her lap, the small volume of Wordsworth she had brought with her tucked away; as a lady’s companion, it was her obligation to answer any question and otherwise fade into the background.

“La, one can hardly construe it, they look so little alike, Lord Potter so dark and the Viscount fair as dawn!” Lady Lavender cried out. She was wont to do so, almost as if she were an actress upon the stage, a fate her father, the Earl of Brownleigh, would sooner see her dead than allow her to assume. Her dramatic talents, therefore, were only given release among her fellow debutantes or at the most circumspect house-party tableaux.

“Why should they, if they are so far distantly related?” practical Miss Abbott, whose inheritance was all from trade and thus disparaged whenever she left the room, inquired.

“I rather think the Viscount looks like a gilded tommy-knocker,” Lady Luna offered blithely. “Or a unicorn.”
