Well, I noticed that this product has a thicker (and maybe more oily?) consistency than the innisfree Green Tea Seed Hyaluronic Acid Cream. (Perhaps to better trap the moisture in the skin?)

Quality-wise I honestly can't tell so maybe apart from consistency, they are relatively the same? But again I am no skin care guru so 🤷🏻‍♀️

• try to keep my room and bathroom as neat and clean as possible!! where do dolls live? in cute and clean houses!!

• constantly having something moisturizing and glossy on my lips! for example when i’m sleeping i’ll wear my laneige lip mask or a lip oil and during the day time my recent fav has been the peach and lily collagen lip balm(it’s super glossy!!!) and the maybelline pearl lifter gloss!

• if i don’t have on acrylic nails i keep my natural nails shaped and well manicured!!

He takes it out of your hand and smells it again, then the rest in your basket. "Oh baby, If you're gonna smell like this I'm eating you up as soon as you leave the shower." he smirks at you. You roll your eyes but can't help the giggle that leaves your mouth. "What are you doing?" you question your boyfriend when he starts walking through the store on his own. "Finding more of this vanilla stuff!"

"Oh so you like the stuff from 'the dirty muggle world', huh?" Now you were the one who mocked him and made him roll his eyes but in his opinion it was worth it. "Yeah yeah, we'll see who's gonna laugh when I am ready with you, darling." And just like that your smile dropped to your panties.

ive literally had this jar of laneige lip sleeping mask for a good 3 years now and im barely halfway through it which made me think..

wracking your brain trying to figure out how you could finally use up all the lip balm you had and convincing your 141!boyfriend to start using it with you.

"it's just the tiniest bit in your sleep, i promise. i know you're tired of your lips splitting so easily. it'll be good," you persuade him. the biggest issue for him was apparently just the sensation. fuck me, right? could go days without a proper shower but the line's drawn at a bit of lip balm. he licks his lips, giving it a thought.

"wouldn't have to do that so much if you just put some on," you add and receive a vaguely humoured yet equally exasperated look in response.

he finally shakes his head and strides towards you. angling his chin down, you apply the slightest bit of it. you jump and pull your finger back when he fakes biting it as you evenly spread the balm across his lips, a laugh escaping you when he meets your gaze.

unwillingly, he comes to realise that you weren't lying when you said the balm worked.

"love, am i molting right now?" he asks quietly the next morning as he scrubs at his lips and you smile amusedly. barely any pampering and already feeling like a brand new man. you'd have to look at booking the two of you a nice facial and sauna session soon.

he ends up taking the small jar to base.

"always complaining about cracked and bloody lips, that lot. never doing anything to fix it as if we don't get paid enough to spend a few dollars. would help their mugs too if they just looked a bit less sorry," he mumbles.

here's to something i'm proud of this year !! from being made fun of for my acne to getting daily compliments on my glowing skin—it's been a long journey. before (november 2023):

after (december 2024):

what i was struggling with: dry skin, forehead acne, clogged and enlarged pores, closed comedones, inflammation/redness, acne scarring, sebum

going out of my comfort zone because i just wanted to share this and show you that yes, it does work! even i'm surprised by the side by side comparison. keep in mind that this is just how I targeted my own skin concerns. everybody is different the things that work for me might not work for you! but hopefully this will give you a place to start <3

oil cleanser

i've actually tried two of these:

beauty of joseon ginseng cleanser

ma:nyo pure cleansing oil (got this cheaper from costco)

dispense a good amount of oil onto your palm and rub it into your face for about 1 min. then, emulsify by adding water to your face (it should turn white) and rub again for about 1 min. wipe it all off when you're done!

helps get rid of: clogged pores, sebum, dead skin

this step made the biggest difference for me. when my acne was really bad, i'd pile on heavy makeup to try and cover it. but, instead of deeply cleansing my face, i'd just scrub it off with a towel and sparingly use micellar water here and there! oil cleansers really get into your skin  water-based cleanser

i use this in the morning before i do my makeup! (and use the oil cleanser at night)

beauty of joseon green plum refreshing cleanser

squeeze a dime-sized amount onto your palm. add just a bit of water to it and scrub it in your palm until it foams up. apply that foam to your face and cleanse for about 1 min, then wash it off.

helps get rid of: oil, sweat, dirt, other particles

i actually got this recommended to me as someone with really sensitive skin! i used to use it right after the oil cleanser to double-cleanse, but as my skin has greatly improved, now i just use this one in the morning. toner

isntree ultra-low molecular hyaluronic acid toner

pat it onto your face with clean, dry hands! important: let it dry before applying your next product.

helps attract moisture, balances pH, super soothing

my favorite toner, especially for my dry skin girlies!

serum

skin1004 centella ampoule

squeeze some onto your face as needed!

honestly my holy grail. centella is super soothing and this ampoule leaves my face feeling super smooth. it's super good with healing, this is perfect for whenever i have an active pimple and need to calm it down or need my makeup to go over something better! one of my favs <3

spot treatment

lion pair acne cream

use it on active pimples or acne scars!

literally a lifesaver. put this baby on and say goodbye to that blemish. moisturizer

nature republic mild & moisture aloe vera gel

okay. admittedly i stopped using it over the summer since my other products are already very moisture-heavy, but i went into winter a few weeks ago wondering why my skin felt so flaky and this has saved my life. super healing and hydrating and a wonderful last step to my routine that kind of seals everything together! bonus
