I've been replaying the Lego DC Supervillians game again. This post isn't fully about that though. No, this post is about how almost every supervillain is cooler or so much more sympathetic than their hero counterparts. Let's list:

Joker: Am I the only one who finds Joker so much cooler than Batman? He's so much fun. Compared to Batman (a man so serious he bores me to tears), Joker is amazing.

Reverse-Flash: I looked him up. In one of his origin stories, he's angry at Barry Allen for ignoring him. To quote/paraphrase wikipedia: Thawne's origin is revised in the DC Rebirth relaunch. An only child when his parents died in an accident, Thawne grew up obsessed with the Flash. After Barry defeats him and has him arrested, Thawne promises to rehabilitate himself, to that end undergoing therapy and being a professor. He also eventually becomes the curator of the Flash Museum. Seeking to show Barry how much he's changed and be a partner, Thawne travels to the past. However, he is enraged after he witnesses Barry give Wally West a talk on how "every second is a gift", similar to one that Barry gave him, and realises that he wasn't treated specially by Barry.

These are just two examples. I'm sure if I kept digging I'd find more. All of Batman's villians deserve their own post alone. But the only justice league members I tend to like are Superman, Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter. The rest aren't very good. Usually very boring to me and not very sympathetic.

Really wish LEGO would do more sets based off the comics then the movies like they used too they seem to have more of a fun campy theme like how comics and LEGO is supposed to feel it’s just the perfect combination

Watched the story for the new Suicide Squad game on Youtube and I gotta honest it was kinda complete dogshit. Like genuinely left a sour taste in my mouth when I was done.

Playing Lego Batman 2 again to gather images, and I forgot how much I love this game like wow no wonder this was my childhood

Idea for a new Lego Game:

LEGO Marvel vs DC

At the beginning of the game you choose a side, Marvel or DC, and play as that universe’s heroes. Strange new villains have started appearing and it’s up to the heroes to stop them (not realizing that they’re occasionally beating fellow heroes from a different universe). It’s then revealed that the villains have been working together, led by Lex Luthor and Dr. Doom, to take over two worlds but with plans to betray each other once the heroes are dealt with.

In the final act of the game Joker with the influence of Loki decide to fuse the worlds together to cause chaos. This ends up causing the heroes and villains to fuse and become their Amalgamation Universe counterparts (Dark Claw, Super Soldier, etc.). You play the last third of the game as these new characters.
