ANUA Heart Leaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil
Okay, I’m sure most of us having probably heard of this product once or twice right? Upon my first time using it gunk, blackheads, and whiteheads that I didn’t even know I had came up due to this product. Overall it’s made my skin really smooth and clear so much so that it literally looks like i’m wearing a real life filter when I look into the mirror!
CERAVE Foaming Facial Cleanser
An amazing product through and through, you can never go wrong with this cleanser tbh. I was using the ANUA heart leaf foaming cleanser but it literally broke me out so bad, I think it’s because of the fragrance so I had to switch back to this one and it’s cleared up all of the breakouts.
ANUA Heart Leaf 77% Toner Pads
Hydrates my skin SOO well I always use just 2 pads and let them sit on my cheeks for a bit before applying it to my face entire face and neck but they’re so calming especially after i’ve had them in the fridge.
ANUA Heart Leaf 77% Soothing Toner
I may as well be using the whole line at this point.. but this toner has been blowing up for so long I just decided I had to buy it and give it a try, and oh my god how this product cleared my breakouts so so quickly. Such a good product to use when your breaking out it truly does a really good time soothing it.
COSRX Snail Mucin 96% Power Essence
Yes i’m highly influenced I know! I’m so glad that I got this product, it’s like a holy grail for acne. This paired with the two toners is such a blessing, no seriously. This product aids in getting rid of bumps I had on my face especially on my forehead.
ANUA Peach 70% Niacinamide serum
My faveee I can talk about this product for soo long. I’ve tried many serums but none come close to this one it’s such a good product even my mom started using it. The scent is amazing it smells exactly like peaches, after immediately applying this serum onto my face it gives such a nice dewy glow and helps brighten my face! Makes me feel like such a princess. Last Anua product I promise.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Moisturizer
They were not lying when they said glow.. Using this product gives you an INSTANT glow to your skin and the scent is so dreamy and perfect. I have not been using this product long and honestly besides the glowiness it gives and the yummy scent there’s not really anything special about it. And why is it so expensive..
LA ROCHE-POSAY Melt-In Milk Sunscreen 60
Such a nice sunscreen, leaves no white cast, is glowy but not to a point where it just looks greasy. Only problem I have with it is the packaging, it kinda like explodes or leaks? I don’t know if it’s the actual product itself or maybe just a error on my end but it gets really annoying sometimes but overall a really good choice of sunscreen!
LANEIGE Berry Lip Sleeping Mask
Yes as I said highly influenced… I always use this after finishing my skincare routine before i’m about to go to bed. It leaves my lips really moisturized and soft and smells amazing! At first I thought it would be the same as any other lip mask but it’s such a unique and nice consistency that I haven’t seen before in a lip mask.

Niacinamide: The Magical Ingredient
Start using Niacinamide my loves ♡
Innovations in skincare have been all the rave. As someone who considers myself a skin-intellectual, (courtesy of Cassandra Bankson on YouTube), I pride myself on learning about ingredients that would work the best for my skin. One of those ingredients is niacinamide, which boasts a multitude of skin-boosting benefits. Whether it is hyperpigmentation, support for a compromised skin barrier, or…

What do you think of hydrogel eye patches? Are you a fan? Although I’ve seen countless posts on eye patches on social media, for some reason I wasn’t very drawn to them.
I just thought, well, they’re pretty for sure but how effective can they be? Let’s jump into this Heimish Bulgarian Rose Water Hydrogel Eye Patch review to find out!

cosrx advanced snail radiance dual essence.
this is an upgraded version of their super popular advanced snail 96 mucin power essence, so i decided to try it since i do like the snail 96 mucin power essence very much.
the bottle is unique as the product is separated, half is the triple snail complex and the other half is the niacinamide serum. when you press the pump, half of the product would come from each side and get mixed together. it’s a really convenient packaging.
the essence itself has more of a serum texture, which is not completely liquid but a little gel like, it still applies easily, with some slimy texture which goes away when you spread it evenly across the face. definitely a really good product to use at the serum stage, or even after other watery serums. i like to use this when my skin needs hydration boost or when my skin looks tired or dull, as it does help to “save” the skin.
snail is a product that has proven to work well on my skin, so this is an extra boost with added niacinamide for skin brightening and better skin complexion overall. and you can use this day and night, it does glide on easily, it’s not very sticky so once you have put moisturizer on top, it would blend beautifully.
definitely would recommend this to anyone who love snail products or needs a gentle serum that would improve overall skin complexion, it’s definitely very hydrating with a lot of different benefits. the product is also reasonably priced and very easy to purchase online.

ik you’re a writing blog but can you pls drop the skincare routine
lmfaoooo i'll come back to this give me a bit
for starters, my skin is normal to dry, and i don't break out super often, as a result of being on accutane as a teenager. most of the skincare products i use are korean-based. the website linked with the products is trustworthy but shipping takes a minute lol.
AM routine:
i don't cleanse in the morning, as my skin isn't oily. I rinse my face with cold water.
this is the toner i use. you want your skin to be damp, not dry. I pat it into the skin, but you can use cotton pads to apply if preferred.
snail mucin!! ik it probs sounds gross, but it's my holy grail lmao. again, you want your skin to be damp, and pat it in, don't rub it.
niacinamide serum for my scarring/hyperpigmentation. also good for acne. this is the one i use.
eye cream. pat it under your eyes, don't rub. i use this one.
moisturizer. make sure previously applied products are fully absorbed. i use this one.
SPF. Please use it. we don't want skin cancer. I use this one. this can also be found at most grocery and drug stores.
PM routine:
literally the exact same, other than i start with this cleanser, and i don't apply spf.
i also use sheet masks 1-2x a week, and skip the snail mucin and niacinamide when i do.

Just bought the Supergoop sunscreen because of you. I’m switching over from EltaMd and hoping it’s a little bit lighter.
oh my god, a skincare ask!!!! This is music to my ears omg. I'm obsessed with sunscreen haha and I LOVE you were using the EltaMD one that's such a great brand. Supergoop is amazing too, though my favourite at the moment is the ZitSticka Megashade sunscreen serum SPF 50 because it's so light and silky, though it's also pricey if you don't get it in a sale. If you want cheaper recs, I'm currently using the Good Molecules sheer mineral sunscreen (though it's SPF 30 and I prefer 50 where possible) and the Beauty of Joseon rice & probiotic SPF 50, which is an amazing and affordable Korean brand. I really wanna try the Glow Recipe watermelon niacinamide sunscreen next but I've heard it pills under make-up and I don't need that drama in my life <333

Face Republic Blooming Time Bakuchiol Cream and Blooming Collagen Eye Booster Review
Tumblr media
The signs of ageing can show up earlier than you might expect, with some appearing as early as your mid to late twenties (between 26 to 28 years old).
These signs can include enlarged pores, a buildup of dead skin cells, fine lines around the eyes, and of course, wrinkles. To combat and slow down these signs, it's crucial to use anti-ageing products that are effective and reliable.
This is where I turn to Face Republic, a South Korean skincare brand that I've been using for years. I'm no stranger to their product line, having tried and loved their Purity Sun Essence and Hydro Barrier Ceramide Cream.
In this review, we'll be taking a closer look at their Blooming Time Bakuchiol Cream and Blooming Collagen Eye Booster, both of which can be paired with their Blooming Forever Nourishing Serum to maximize their benefits.
Tumblr media
Face Republic Blooming Time Bakuchiol Cream
The Face Republic Blooming Time Bakuchiol Cream is a versatile moisturiser that effectively combats the signs of ageing. This lightweight formula specifically targets wrinkles and fine lines, reducing their appearance while revitalizing lacklustre skin
It also works to even out skin tone, nourish, and rejuvenate, leaving skin looking and feeling hydrated and smooth. With no sticky residue, this cream is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a youthful and plump complexion. This cream is lightweight enough to be used as a day or night cream.
Tumblr media
What is Bakuchiol?
If you're after the benefits of retinol but don't want to deal with its potential side effects, look no further. Derived from the Psoralea corylifolia plant, Bakuchiol, offers similar anti-ageing and antioxidant properties to retinol without the skin irritation that can come with it.
This natural ingredient promotes collagen production, helping to prevent signs of ageing and improve skin firmness and health. Unlike retinol, Bakuchiol is gentle and suitable for all skin types, making it a great option to use day or night for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Tumblr media
No Artificial Fragrance and Colouring
The Face Republic Blooming Time Bakuchiol Cream boasts a gentle and pure formulation that's free from artificial fragrances and colouring. It's also dermatologically tested, ensuring it's safe for use on the skin.
What sets this cream apart is its powerful blend of ingredients that work together to nourish and revitalise the skin.
The addition of niacinamide helps to brighten and even out skin tone while reducing the appearance of dark spots. To deeply moisturize the skin, the cream features Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, and Betaine, leaving your skin feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated.
Tumblr media
Face Republic Blooming Time Bakuchiol Cream Review
The Face Republic Blooming Time Bakuchiol Cream is a superb lotion-type moisturizer that effortlessly glides onto the skin, leaving you with a radiant and flawless complexion. Its tangy floral scent is a delightful touch, reminding me of dried kumquats.
As you apply it, the cream feels cool and refreshing on the skin, and its texture is unique. Despite looking like a cream at first glance, it feels more like a combination of gel and lightweight cream that quickly absorbs into the skin. Once fully absorbed, my skin feels smooth and soft, with the lingering hint of the tangy floral fragrance.
Tumblr media
After using this moisturizer, I notice that my skin feels well-hydrated and moisturized, with no greasy residue left behind. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the Face Republic Blooming Time Bakuchiol Cream and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight, effective moisturiser that leaves your skin feeling nourished and refreshed.
Tumblr media
Face Republic Blooming Collagen Eye Booster
Taking care of the delicate skin around our eyes is crucial in preventing premature ageing, as this area tends to lack moisture and nutrients due to the low number of sebaceous glands. That's why eye creams are an essential part of any skincare routine.
Face Republic Blooming Collagen Eye Booster is a great option for nourishing and firming fine lines and wrinkles. This anti-wrinkle eye cream utilises plant-derived low-molecular collagen and vita peptide ingredients to lift and brighten the eye area, helping to rejuvenate the skin around your eyes in your daily routine.
Tumblr media
Brightens Dull Skin and Smooth Fine Lines
Similar to the Blooming Time Bakuchiol Cream, the Blooming Collagen Eye Booster includes Niacinamide and Vita-Peptide, flower-derived extracts, and ceramide for rich nourishment and deep hydration.
The wrinkle-filling complex and plant collagen complex work together to smooth fine lines and improve firmness, while the vita-peptide brightens dull skin and enhances skin elasticity for a youthful glow.
The formula is mild, clean, and dermatologically tested, with no artificial fragrance or colouring, and it absorbs quickly and smoothly, leaving your skin feeling moisturised.
Tumblr media
Face Republic Blooming Collagen Eye Booster Review
What I love most about this eye cream is how easily it glides onto my skin. The clear and precise tip makes it easy to dispense just the right amount of product, and the cooling sensation upon application is a refreshing treat for my tired eyes.
Tumblr media
I've also noticed that the cream absorbs quickly into my skin without leaving any residue or heaviness. This is a huge plus for me, as I have oily skin and often struggle to find eye creams that don't feel too greasy.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Face Republic Blooming Collagen Eye Booster to anyone looking for an effective and easy-to-use eye cream. It's a game-changer in my skincare routine, and I can't imagine going without it now.
Tumblr media
Face Republic Blooming Time Bakuchiol Cream and Blooming Collagen Eye Booster Review
Overall, I have really enjoyed adding the Face Republic Blooming Time Bakuchiol Cream and Blooming Collagen Eye Booster to my daily skincare routine. The tangy floral scent of both products is delightful and they apply smoothly onto my skin without leaving any greasy residue, even on my oily T-zone.
While I have only been using the products for two weeks, I have noticed a slight improvement in my skin's radiance. However, the creams are still working to combat my wrinkles, but I am hopeful that with continued use, I will see even better results.
You can purchase the Face Republic Blooming Time Bakuchiol Cream and Blooming Collagen Eye Booster from Shopee, Lazada, Zalora, Qoo10, METRO Singapore and TANGS.

połish skincare market went through a revolution at the end of 2010s thanks to local consumers following trends from abroad and esp 2020 onwards there's a boom. new product line every week, and some brands keep making overpowered products such as 20% niacinamide serum? who needs that. and many of those products flop. rossmann the biggest drugstore chain does a clearance every couple months and like 1/4 of skincare section is off like 75%. crazy how fast it all happens. the same products i looked at 10 months ago as they were new are getting discontinued. it is sooo fucked up. the waste brands produce when creating new products is a Thing that can't be overlooked? even in 2015 i had problems finding products for a good routine, when i run out of my korean made moisturizer etc.. drugstore cream selection was ... sparse. let alone acids or vitamin c! whomst! you had 5 products that weren't even available anywhere. right now creating a good routine even down to spf is not a problem. there's sooo much to choose from you get decision fatigue 💀 and there's that risk the products you like will get discontinued after 6 months on the market 💀 im my teens all you had were harsh "anti acne" products or "anti age" creams lines that had age bracket on the box 😬 people in their 40s don't all have the same skin corncerns 💀 my mom needs to be conviced to use cream with age label that isn't close to hers... the abudance of skincare products right now comes with a cost. i feel guilty for using regular cotton pads to clean my eyes with medicated lotion, not multiple use ones, even tho that's the most hygenic way... but brands waste so much resources on creating products they fail to sell and no one cares. also skincare products markups are crazy, they sell you a cream that costs $1 to make, packed in a jar that costs $2 for $30 lol

okay so 2-3 of my friends asked about skin care routine and here’s one of the current products i use ! 🥲 it’s not much but it’s personally curated and it works for me! i’m a big korean skin care enthusiast in general ( no, this isn’t about BTS) most of the products are vegan but not all 🥲
links are attached.
Cleanse :
Cetaphil Oil skin cleanser ( daily use, very skin friendly, fragrance less, foam less, color less)
Klairs gentle black deep oil ( for double cleanse at night, good when you’ve heavily applied sunscreen, lots of dust or just makeup )
Cosrx salicylic acid daily cleanser ( just daily mild cleanser, again fragrance less, foam less, color less
Tone :
SNP peptaronic toner ( very moisturising and just general barrier healing and super nice if you’re trying to add active ingredients, a wet barrier between skin and active ingredients is v necessary for optimum absorption)
Cosrx AHA/BHA treatment clarifying toner ( my skin doesn’t have many breakouts or pimples in general so my goal was to get better texture and pore free skin and hence i gravitate towards products with mild exfoliating property)
Innisfree Green tea mist / Plum grape seed and sea buckthorn nutri plenish mist ( i just keep one in bag for those days you know)
One thing niacinamide / One thing Centela Asiacitica ( One thing are amazing brand if you’re looking for specific ingredient to add to your routine. niacinamide is generally for fighting oil and blackheads and Centella asiatica is anti inflammatory and healing)
Active ingredients:
Vitamin C : Dr sheths / Klairs ( Always make a habit of using it in the morning. i’ve been using it for two years now. evens out skin tone and antioxidant in general. Klairs has 5% and Dr sheths 20% ascorbic acid. you can start from 5% and then settle to 20% slowly. very mild purging occasionally. check on your forearm first if you’re sensitive)
Niacinamide : Onething / Plum rice and niacinamide / Minimalist niacinamide ( This is actually really helpful for someone who has oily skin and pimples but like i said i use it for skin texture general and anti ageing property )
Retinoids : Minimalist granactive retinoids /Innisfree cica Retinol ( well i’ve only recently started to use this around 6 months or so. A little irritatation and purging is very common. ALWAYS ALWAYS REMEMBER TO USE IN NIGHT TIME AND IF YOU DO USE IN DAYTIME, do not forget sunscreen. I use it twice or thrice a week. You can also sandwich it between two moisturiser or one mucin based serum and then moisturiser to reduce irritation. minimalist already has hyaluronic acid in it so it’s useful )
Salicylic Acid : Minimalist salicylic acid 2% ( for those with pimples and oily skin, this is holy grail, my brother used niacinamide, salicylic acid and sunscreen religiously and it affected his large ass pimples so much. Again little caution as it can cause purging in some. Start from twice a week and then you can switch to Alternatively. DO NOT COMBINE SALICYLIC ACID AND RETINOIDS )
Snail mucin : THE MAGIC FROM JEJU ITSELF ( This is everything, if you’re in hurry you can just keep this together and you’re good to go. Barrier healing, Antiinflammatory, pimples, general good skin health, Plumps the surface and glass skin effect if you’re into it. best product from Cosrx! they also have cream formulation but i prefer essence )
BHA : Cosrx blackhead power liquid ( this isn’t entirely necessary to add to your routine, but i’m a little extra concerned with blackheads, pores and bumpy skin and hence i’ve added. )
i may also add peptides and alpha arbutin at some point. but not all together.
Moisture :
Cosrx oil free ultra moisturiser ( i do not have oily skin perse but i prefer gel based or light texture and hence this. IT IS AMAZING. a bottle goes a long way, im never shifting to another)
Requil ceramides and Hyalouronic acid ( This is my winter moisturiser, it’s a little thick compared to cosrx and hence i’ve kept it for winter and extreme skin breakage purposes, ceramides are generally very healthy )
Innisfree bija trouble lotion ( if you’re looking for something with salicylic acid and for spot care, it smells heavenly 👀)
Night cream : Innisfree jeju orchid elixir ( ideally night cream is supposed to have retinoids, peptides and vitamin E etc but since those are already covered in others i don’t add extra. Orchid elixir is just extremely concentrated Hyaluronic acid and it goes a long way for me)
umm concept of eye cream is a little debatable for me. because you just need to apply same facial cream around eye areas thoroughly. other than that no active measures are required. puffiness is better healed with massage and proper sleep and lifestyle changes. same goes for dark circles if you manage stress. Same retinoids and Hyaluronic acid can work on under eye as well.
Okay this was a really long and difficult to make from my phone whooosh. Minimalist and Dr sheth is India based company. so products might not be available outside. This is 3-4 years worth of Research and trial and error combined 🥲🥲🥲 oh i forgot sunscreen wait
sunscreen :
Minimalist multivitamin
Vaseline Sunscreen stick
Isantree Water based sunscreen
Cosrx aloe soothing sunscreen
again i tend to gravitate towards gel based. i don’t like tinted but you can go for those if you have issues with cast and oxidation. Sunscreen stick is holy grail. Very convenient and easy to apply. AHC and Shiseido are also good. but they’re a little difficult to get in india 🥲 i prefer SPF 50 at least because india is a really hot most of the year.
@versify this was for you , appreciate

Review of varuza’s Real Natural Sheet Mask with Blue Ampoule
varuza is a Korean brand that focuses on clean beauty. Their name means “Do It Right” and “Apply Well” in Korean. They are dedicated to living in a healthier environment. Their Real Natural Sheet Mask with Blue Ampoule is designed to add moisture, even skin tone, and firm the skin. Key ingredients include: laminaria japonica extract (nourishing, moisturizing, gives skin a lasting glow, softening, hydrating), centella asiatica extract (healing, antioxidant, anti-aging, soothing, strengthens skin, repairing), fucus vesiculosus extract (moisturizing, removes skin texture, reduces wrinkle depth), green tea leaf extract (antioxidant, anti-acne, healing, anti-inflammatory, improves skin elasticity, anti-aging, evens skin tone), and rosemary leaf extract (anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, healing, soothing, eases problematic skin). This product retails for between $1-2 USD, you can 5 pieces here for $9.88 + shipping (free on Prime).
Ingredients
Water, Glycerin, Methylpropanediol, Niacinamide, Hydroxyacetophenone, Jania Rubens Extract, Laminaria Japonica (Kombu) Extract, Fucus Vesiculosus (Bladder Wrack) Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Adenosine, Panthenol, Allantoin, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Tromethamine, C12-14 Pareth-12, 1,2-Hexanediol, Disodium EDTA
Tumblr media
This mask contains 25 grams (0.88 oz) and has no fragrance.
Tumblr media
The sheet mask is made of 100% natural cotton and it is structured to increase the absorption rate and adhere to the skin. The mask itself has a decent fit, but I need to adjust the eye holes and mouth hole.
Recommended use is to wash your face and then remove the sheet mask from the package. Place sheet mask properly aligning eye and nose areas and leave on for 10-20 minutes. Remove the sheet mask and massage excess serum into the skin. This sheet mask is cruelty-free, non-GMO, fragrance-free, and vegan-friendly. After using, I think this is the perfect mask for people with sensitive skin, it's fragrance-free as mentioned and the mask is made of 100 percent natural material. The mask is very saturated in essence but there isn't a lot of extra left after you take out the mask. The essence is very nourishing and hydrating and the ingredients are free of irritants. The mask itself is good for all sorts of skin issues from hydration to soothing irritation to anti-aging. The quality of the mask is great however it does take some adjusting on the face. I'd definitely recommend this to people with sensitive skin as well as to people with irritated and inflamed skin.
What I like: this mask is great for sensitive skin, has no fragrance, and is 100 percent natural unbleached cotton. The ingredient list is irritant free and it's wonderful at hydrating and soothing the skin. The price for these masks is also very reasonable and if you have prime, it comes super fast. What I don't like: nothing.
Pros:
Hydrating
Soothing
Nourishing
Fragrance-free
Sensitive skin friendly
Vegan
Cruelty-free
Cons:
none
Would I buy again?
Yes
Rating: 10/10

How Korean Moisturizers Can Transform Your Oily Skin
Do you struggle with oily skin, constantly battling shine and breakouts? Have you ever wondered if there's a solution that can balance your skin without stripping away essential moisture? Enter the world of Korean skincare, where innovative formulations and natural ingredients offer a game-changing approach to managing oily skin. In this article, we will explore how Korean moisturizers for oily skin can transform your oily skin, providing hydration, balance, and a healthier complexion.
Understanding Oily Skin: Causes and Challenges
What Causes Oily Skin?
Oily skin is often the result of overactive sebaceous glands producing excess sebum. Factors such as genetics, hormonal changes, diet, and stress can all contribute to this condition. The challenge lies in finding a moisturizer that can hydrate without exacerbating oil production.
Challenges of Oily Skin
Managing oily skin can be tricky. The wrong products can clog pores, leading to breakouts and a greasy appearance. Additionally, many people with oily skin make the mistake of skipping moisturizer altogether, which can lead to dehydration and even more oil production as the skin tries to compensate.
The Korean Skincare Philosophy
Holistic Approach to Skincare
Korean skincare is renowned for its holistic and preventative approach. Rather than treating issues as they arise, the focus is on maintaining a healthy skin barrier and preventing problems before they start. This philosophy is particularly beneficial for oily skin, as it emphasizes balance and hydration.
Innovative Ingredients
Korean moisturizers for oily skin often feature unique and natural ingredients such as green tea, snail mucin, and Centella asiatica. These components are known for their soothing, anti-inflammatory, and hydrating properties, making them ideal for oily skin types.
Key Ingredients in Korean Moisturizers for Oily Skin
Green Tea Extract
Green tea is a powerhouse ingredient for oily skin. Its anti-inflammatory properties help reduce redness and irritation, while its antioxidant content protects the skin from damage. Additionally, green tea can help control sebum production, making it a perfect fit for oily skin.
Snail Mucin
Snail mucin might sound unusual, but it's a popular ingredient in Korean skincare for good reason. It promotes skin regeneration, hydrates deeply, and helps to heal acne scars. Its lightweight texture ensures it won't clog pores, making it suitable for oily skin.
Centella Asiatica
Also known as "cica" or "tiger grass," centella asiatica is famed for its calming and healing properties. It's an excellent choice for those with oily and acne-prone skin, as it reduces inflammation and supports the skin's natural barrier.
Top Korean Moisturizers for Oily Skin
