knowing my mother became a nurse bc she didn't have the means to try to become a doctor and then she became jaded after seeing how it all works... quit and started doing comission type business not even remotely connected to medicine. and i was born after she quit and ended up a medically neglected child lol. like i didn't know migraines aren't normal thing to experience until the got so bad i started to throw up during each attack and at 21 finally saw a doctor. many such happenings in my life

my grandpa was born in 1930 he was truly puzzled at me dying my hair purple but he was never weird about it like. asked me about it and didn't make me feel stupid or said i'm ruining my hair/looks. devout cathólic man and he wasn't judgemental. it can be done

the fb groups for women who are super into taking care of their hair are scary. and the hair influencers... they WILL deny genetics play a part, they will try to sell you rosemary stuff and delete comments about spotty research

i had a coupon that made me pay only ¼ of the price so i purchased a christmas set that had cleansing balm and illuminating cream. not only is the balm super hard to rinse off (and i'm a cleansing balm veteran i started using them in 2015) but also the cream is calledn illuminating... because it has fucking glitter. what the hell. what type of 2in1 face plus eyecream ... shitton of glitter. i always rub what's left on my hands on my elbows and now my arms are glittery

i'm still doing my sidequest of reading (available in my local library) books on adhd and now... i been reading pólish translation of 'finally focused' and it's not good based on for example they list piroluria (debunked and mostly mentioned now by quacks!!!) as possible illness that is like adhd and leads to misdiagnosed adhd in ~girls~ . what the hell

i think it's pretty telling how covid death toll is constantly rising but you can't even mention the people who died of it, you don't see any 'let's honour those who passed during the pandemic' moments, conspiracy theory fully leaked into mainstream through people downplay how bad covid is for your body and claim lockdowns were pointless, vaccine mandates only made antivax crowd grow......
