I wish we could change hirelings sex and race but for now at least I can make two of my Tav’s as a hireling. My feylock bard tiefling and my wild magic draconic barbarian half-drow, Cillian Baker and Jen.
Cillian is a depressed rocker type who is starting to think about retirement/career changes because he’s getting older but his patron says no.
Jen heard a prophecy when he was 13 that he has to sacrifice himself to save the world and he got so scared he ran away and got picked up by raiders who then raised him and he’s doing everything he can to not be seen as a hero type (but he is a softy inside).

Round Two, Match Fifteen: Jennifer Check (Jennifer's Body) vs. Angela Baker (Sleepaway Camp)
Tumblr media
PROPAGANDA FOR JENNIFER:
"yes she may have maimed and murdered many, but killing and eating men while having a toxic homoerotic relationship with your girl best friend is just what being a teenage girl is like"
PROPAGANDA FOR ANGELA:
"She's an incredibly fucked up person who lived as a boy until her sister and father died and then her aunt forced her to live under her dead sister's identity. And now she kills people who bully her and they deserve it! She shoves a curling iron in the mean girl's vagina! She beheads a dude who won't take no for an answer! She pours boiling water on a pedophile! She is an icon!"

101 Aromantic Books Rec List
For this list the goal is fiction books with a main character or significant secondary character that is on the Aromantic spectrum, or non-fiction books about being Aro-spec. Some books will overlap with my Asexual Book rec list.
Junior Novel
1. Hazel's Theory of Evolution by Lisa Jen Bigelow Hazel knows a lot about the world. But even Hazel doesn't have answers for the questions awaiting her as she enters eighth grade. What if no one at her new school gets her, and she doesn't make any friends? What's going to happen to one of her moms, who's pregnant again after having two miscarriages? Why does everything have to change when life was already perfectly fine? Hazel is asexual and aromantic (it isn't said in the book, but it is specified in the author's note at the back of the book).
2. Every Bird A Prince by Jen Reese After she saves the life of a bird prince and becomes their champion, seventh grader Eren Evers must defend a forest kingdom, save her mom, and keep the friendships she holds dear--if she is brave enough to embrace her inner truths. Eren is aromantic.
3. The Dragon of Ynys by Minerva Cerridwen Every time something goes missing from the village, Sir Violet, the local knight, makes his way to the dragon's cave and negotiates the item's return. It's annoying, but at least the dragon is polite. But when the dragon hoards a person, that's a step too far. Sir Violet storms off to the mountainside to escort the baker home, only to find a more complex mystery—a quest that leads him far beyond the cave. Accompanied by the missing baker's wife and the dragon himself, the dutiful village knight embarks on his greatest adventure yet. AroAce main character.
YA Fiction
4. Archivist Wasp by Nicole Kornher-Stace A postapocalyptic ghosthunter escapes her dire fate by joining the ghost of a supersoldier on his quest to the underworld Aromantic asexual main character. Dark fantasy/dystopian.
5. Latchkey by Nicole Kornher-Stace Isabel, once known as Wasp, has become leader of the fearsome upstarts, the teen girl acolytes who are adjusting to a new way of life after the overthrow of the sadistic Catchkeep-priest. They live in an uneasy alliance with the town of Sweetwater—an alliance that will be tested to its limits by the dual threats of ruthless raiders from the Waste and a deadly force from the Before-time that awaits in long-hidden tunnels. Archivist Wasp Sequel. Aro/Ace protag.
6. Vespertine by Margaret Rogerson When her convent is attacked by possessed soldiers, Artemisia defends the Gray Sisters by awakening the revenant bound to a saint's relic, even though she runs the risk of being possessed permanently by the powerful ancient spirit. Non-explicit romantic asexual main character. Fantasy.
7. Not Even Bones by Rebecca Shaeffer Nita's mother hunts monsters and, after Nita dissects and packages them, sells them online, but when Nita follows her conscience to help a live monster escape, she is sold on the black market in his place. Aro/Ace main character
8. When Villains Rise by Rebecca Shaeffer With her best friend, Kovit's, life in danger, Nita is determined to take down the black market once and for all. Latina asexual and aromantic main character.
9. The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee Henry "Monty" Montague was bred to be a gentleman. His passions for gambling halls, late nights spent with a bottle of spirits, or waking up in the arms of women or men, have earned the disapproval of his father. His quest for pleasures and vices have led to one last hedonistic hurrah as Monty, his best friend and crush Percy, and Monty's sister Felicity begin a Grand Tour of Europe. When a reckless decision turns their trip abroad into a harrowing manhunt, it calls into question everything Monty knows, including his relationship with the boy he adores. Aro/ace secondary character (prequel to a Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy).
10. The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzi Lee A year after an accidentally whirlwind grand tour with her brother Monty, Felicity Montague has returned to England with two goals in mind—avoid the marriage proposal of a lovestruck suitor from Edinburgh and enroll in medical school. A highly loved book in regards to asexual portrayal, Felicity’s journey does a fantastic job of exploring the struggle of navigating a world where marriage is expected of women in order to function in society. Even more refreshing is Felicity isn’t just avoiding getting married out of a sole rebellion against the patriarchy (though those themes are also present), but simply because she doesn’t have an interest in sexual or romantic relationships at all.
11. Before I Let Go by Marieke Nijkamp When Corey moves away from Lost Creek, Alaska, she makes her friend Kyra promise to stay strong during the long, dark winter, and wait for her return. With every hour, Corey's suspicion grows. Lost is keeping secrets-- but piecing together the truth about what happened to her best friend may prove as difficult as lighting the sky in an Alaskan winter. Aro/Ace main character.
12. Seven Ways We Lie by Riley Redgate Seven students. Seven (deadly) sins. One secret. There is a character who sounds asexual and aromantic and autistic but none of these are ever explicitly named. He seems like a stereotype at first but has his own storyline that's both important plot wise and gives him his own character arc.
13. Not Your Villain by C. B. Lee Bells Broussard thought he had it made when his superpowers manifested early. Being a shapeshifter is awesome. He can change his hair whenever he wants, and if putting on a binder for the day is too much, he's got it covered. But that was before he became the country's most-wanted villain. After discovering a massive cover-up by the Heroes' League of Heroes, Bells and his friends Jess, Emma, and Abby set off on a secret mission to find the Resistance. Aromantic Black secondary character.

16. Summer Bird Blue by Akemi Dawn Bowman Rumi Seto spends a lot of time worrying she doesn’t have the answers to everything. What to eat, where to go, whom to love. But there is one thing she is absolutely sure of—she wants to spend the rest of her life writing music with her younger sister, Lea. Then Lea dies in a car accident, and her mother sends her away to live with her aunt in Hawaii while she deals with her own grief. While not the main focal point of the book, Rumi does grapple throughout the story about where exactly she lands on the ace and aro spectrum—and whether she has to label herself at all.
17. If It Makes You Happy by Claire Kann Winnie is living her best fat girl life and is on her way to the best place on earth. No, not Disneyland–her Granny’s diner, Goldeen’s, in the small town of Misty Haven. She can do this with the help of her ghost dog, Kirby, but has to remember not to wake human ghosts. Aromantic ace main character. Paranormal mystery. Casual representation which extends to Ellie’s identity as Lipan Apache. a harry is louis’ baby fic masterlist by yours truly
if you’ve talked to me for ~2 mins, you know i’m a big harry is louis’ baby stan™️ & therefore, couldn’t end 2022 without making a faves/recommendation list for the trope, especially given my harry is louis’ baby fic fest lol (sign up for it here if you’d like!). i don't want this to be 84 feet long, so i’ve limited myself to ~50 fics & since i have many praises to give, in lieu of summaries, i put why i love each fic. sorry for another long list but also not really? LMAO :’)
adore you by @isthatyoularry / isthatyoularry
louis does literally everything he can do to make harry feel safe, comfortable, and happy with him. he’s so smitten immediately. the character & relationship development is so wonderful. there’s some hefty doses of angst, but they’re definitely evened out by fluff.
a+ for effort by @harryventura / embro
this fic is sososo cute. just endless fluff, crushing, fond, protective louis, poor harry trying his best. ugh. the works. i love i love i love.
as golden as the coast by @softandslow / softandslow
harry squeals over louis calling him petnames just as i would if i ever heard it occur. flirting, pining, demonstrations of affection, a lil bit of good n steamy tent smut, and captain niall. top tier.
as small as possible by mickey_d
i will never not wish that there was either more words or a sequel. louis is more than happy & ready to quell and support sweet lil harry’s anxiety & love him for the rest of his life. the cutest lil fluff fic.
all i want for christmas is by pinkgelpen (crybaby)
if you crave larry w kids, this fic is for you. harry’s the nanny, louis’ the single dad, the kids love harry, harry loves the kids & larry can’t imagine their lives without each other. the domesticity is top notch. baker harry full throttle. the lil moments where they almost go for it are so wonderfully written that you have to keep reading until they do go for it.
all i needed by @fallinglikethis / fallinglikethis
i think the line ‘louis will gladly be a fool to keep harry smiling’ says it all. protective/supportive louis, making sure that harry understands that louis supports him but still knows he can stand on his own just fine. love love love.
and then we kiss (all i wanna do is have a good time) by orphan_account
i mean, look. niall literally calls harry louis’ baby in the fic. need i say more?? louis knows harry is something special & supports harry however he can, harry’s immediately enamored with him, niall and zayn are top tier supporting characters who welcome him into their group so quickly & happily. wonderful dynamics all around.
babydoll blues by @thedevilinmybrain / devilinmybrain (venomedveins)
this isn’t your typical harry is louis’ baby fic, but it very much becomes that in it’s own lovely - albeit, slightly angsty - way. jen always writes in such a wonderfully descriptive way that you can feel how they’re feeling. this fic will make you cry but it will also make you laugh and smile. & the smut is so good.
back to seventeen by @ireallysawanangel / crimsontheory
my cousin married her childhood crush (who’s also her best friend’s brother), so i’m a sucker for this trope. nicole consistently - as you’ll see in their other fics on this list - perfectly writes louis as immediately interested but it never feels too fast paced or unrealistic. harry is enamored by louis but simply does not know what to do with himself in the face of louis. it always just makes sense & is so lovely. we got some phone sex w louis’ dirty talk in here too, what a treat.
baby shut your mouth and turn me inside out by ballsdeepinjesus
look, we’ve got sugar daddy louis wanting to provide for & support harry, we’ve got harry trying to fight it until he realizes that louis is simply not to be fought & that he simply wants to help harry however he can, louis excitedly introducing harry to everyone he knows, and we’ve got some car sex. what’s not to love?
but when we kiss... by @indiaalphawhiskey / indiaalphawhiskey
silver fox, seductive louis coaxing prideful harry into his car to get him out of the cold. harry giving in. then harry’s inner monologue and the top tier smut that comes after? amazing. 10/10.
burn this flame by @rainbowtitania / rainbowninja167
the way louis tries to take care of harry & harry’s refusal in order to prove himself to louis, only to end up naturally submitting is a delightful dynamic. the fluff. the smut. the relationship development. poor niall and zayn tho lololol.
don’t stop thinking about tomorrow by @1diamondinthesun / 1diamondinsunthesun
this one is - imo - quite angsty, but louis always feels like a beaming light in harry’s life. to me, this reads as though the moment louis found out who harry was, he realized he had to sweep him off his feet before anyone else did & then proceeded to do exactly that and i love the idea of that so much.
face your fears by @sadaveniren / sadaveniren
poor harry is riddled with fears for the majority of the fic. but louis never ceases to show his support verbally, physically, and emotionally. he meets every obstacle harry tries to throw at him head on. mind the authors notes, but this is such an overall cute fic with wonderfully written smut by sada, as usual.
faking it by @donotdialnine / thecellardoor
this author always seems to write fics that exude the exact definition of harry is louis’ baby - the ones i’ve read, at least. childhood best friends to lovers. fake relationship bringing out very real feelings. protective, teasing louis. poor niall & zayn trying to force larry to get their heads out of their asses. fantastically written smut, as usual.
found my hallelujah by @ireallysawanangel / crimsontheory
louis is literally the first person to call harry a petname in this and the first petname he calls harry is ‘baby’ !!!! do u hear me screaming !!!!! the world building is done so wonderfully, you feel like you’re physically & mentally with harry on the trip. i have so much love for this fic & larry’s dynamic.
gathered on wings by @twopoppies / brooklyn_babylon
the way their relationship began as harry having a massive crush on louis and has louis pursuing harry years later gives a very full circle feeling & it’s lovely. everything from their character development, relationship development, the smut, is beautifully written.
give a little sing to the singles by @londonfoginacup / ladylondonderry
i cannot explain why but even before reading the ending, this fic simply exuded harry is louis’ baby vibes to me. and i love it for that. well, other things as well, of course. the humor that emmu always incorporates into her fics is *chef’s kiss*
in all its imperfections by @briannamarguerite / briamaria
punk louis & shy harry pining over each other will never not be an adorable trope. the way louis handles harry’s nerves, how harry just trusts louis to lead him in the smut, the humor, the communication? love!!!
if tomorrow never comes (we had last night) by @fallinglikethis / fallinglikethis & @all-these-larrythings / rearviewdreamer
louis picking up stranger drunk harry and brings him back home safely bc he doesn’t trust anyone else to do it, protective niall, the banter, the flirting, the fond, ugh. such a wonderful fluff & smut fic.
in dreams by dolce_piccante
louis becoming his new neighbor harry’s secret admirer by leaving lil gifts at his door in hopes of making him smile? ugh give it to me. punk louis, teacher harry, cuddling, the supportiveness, the ease in which their relationship flows from strangers to friends to lovers is my fav.
i made a map of your stars by @brightbluelou / brightbluelou
louis sees harry being an anxious ball of fluff and simply decides to come into his life and fondly tease him, flirt with him, and basically metaphorically wrap him up in a blanket & hold him? so precious. this fic will leave a smile on ur face.
just jump by @jaerie / jaerie
the way louis comes in & proceeds to help harry become the best version of himself always does it for me. for me, it’s the details in this fic. for example, louis quietly & nonchalantly breaking the rules to be intimate with harry? yes please & thank you.
just one look (and i fell so hard) by @disgruntledkittenface / disgruntledkttenface
everything from the shy glances, louis speaking up, them not wanting to leave each other’s side, them realizing the little things that they adore about each other, the smut, the ending. ugh. it’s so good. maggie’s never written anything that’s not magnificent tho, so i’m not surprised.
knock knock, i love you by beautlouis
there’s something about louis realizing that he’s going to be harry’s first for everything & being eager about it & demanding to make it perfect for him that really does it for me in fics. the dirty talk, the smut, the way they support & care about each other. they’re little puppies in love !!!!!!
let our hearts collide by @crinkle-eyed-boo / crinkle-eyed-boo (kimmierocks)
this fic made me cry, smile, laugh. from the moment louis hopped on screen in the fic, it very quickly became so very clear that harry was louis’ baby while not throwing away the whole liam/harry plotline away completely..even when i kind of sort of wish it did. kim had to remind of me the rationales of the fic when we talked about it last night lol. acceptance is hard but important, i suppose. i know it’s based off a movie, but she does a great job of keeping liam & harry’s ‘relationship’ up in a realistic way while still keeping your eye on the prize.
milk kinship by @jaerie / jaerie
this one doesn’t start off as a harry is louis’ baby fic, but by the end, it’s there, full throttle. jaerie knows how much i love this fic but i’ll let u all know too. this one is a thing of beauty. we’ve got lactation kink, we’ve got larry with babies, we’ve got possessive louis, and much more.
make him want to sin by @becomeawendybird / quickedween
instant connection fics can easily be written v unrealistically, v fast imo and molly writes this one so well. there’s some twists and turns but in the end, harry’s going home with louis, just like he was always supposed to. there’s also some fantastic desk sex.
may we all have a vision now and then by @gaycousinlarry / momentofclarity
this is such a painfully sweet fic. the way louis takes care of harry, allows him to feel what he needs to feel and is happy to do it all. ugh. a cute short lil fic w lots of emotions.
needing you more and more, let’s give love a try by supernope
supportive louis, protective louis, happy and glowing mpreg harry, vacation smut, what a blessing.
never been knotted by @allwaswell16 / allwaswell16
anitra’s sense of humor that she incorporates into fics + the way she always perfectly writes harry and louis’ dynamic never fails, making this fic the best combo of cute and slow but steady sexual tension building. with a cute lil plot twist at the end!
no one likes to be alone by @lululawrence / lululawrence
louis taking care of stressed out, nesting harry. the decision to have louis lick him when scenting is a huge small detail like r u kidding me ?? sus !!!! why do u continue to hurt me with your wonderfully cute writing !!!!
precious little thing by mercutionotromeo
phone sex operator louis? yes please. dirty talk? yes please. desperate harry that louis is ready & willing to take care of? yes please. love how feelings were brought into it + the ending is delightful in a way you might not expect
stranger stars by @sunshineandhisrainbows / shaylea
the character development. how their relationship develops. the way louis prioritizes harry from the get go, you feel like you’re indulging a guilty habit w him. but the slow burn is sososo worth it!!!! also the sexual tension? top tier. tw for internalized homophobia, homophobic laws & descriptions of illness.
say something by @kingsofeverything / kingsofeverything
the way louis is immediately interested but takes it slow & makes sure harry is comfortable and happy is so sweet. there’s definitely angst & resistance on harry’s part, but imo that’s part of what makes it fit with this trope - how louis acts with harry & their dynamic. lauren already knows how much i love this fic & now you all do too!
secrets don’t make friends by @thedevilinmybrain / devilinmybrain (venomedveins)
look. it’s got feminization. it’s got service kink. daddy kink. domesticity. amazing dirty talk. how much louis loves harry. how much harry loves louis. how supportive they are of each other. jen’s writing has me in a chokehold.
so grab your passport and my hand by @infinitelymint / infinitelymint
the way they instantly take to each other - granted, harry is enamored with louis even before the beginning - is so sweet. although the closeting aspect is a prominent obstacle, their relationships is nothing but cute and supportive and i adore it.
stars will align for us by @2tiedships2 / 2tiedships2
mel usually writes omega louis/alpha harry - and wonderfully at that - but i’m so glad this one exists too! poor harry is terrified of getting with his dream man, but thankfully louis has no problem stepping in & sweeping him off his feet
something unpredictable by @kingonafiftymetreroad / lsforever
ceo louis/employee harry? sexual tension build up? under-negotiated kink that’s written in just the right way? stressing the importance of communication and consent? give it to me!!!! and k did. i just found it about 7 years after it was given. but i’ve found it now & i’m so happy!!
the night sky is changing overhead by orphan_account
the twists in this fic are so unexpected but so good, the smut is amazing, and so is the character & relationship development. if you like fics with world building, this is for you
them butterflies by @gaycousinlarry / momentofclarity
i’d bet good money that this fic is in all of my fic lists/recs & listen. i’m not sorry. their immediate connection? louis seducing harry by breathing in his vicinity? eli already knows how obsessed i am with this fic - i literally created a fic fest inspired by it - but i need u to all understand how wonderful it is too. all her fics are top tier tbh. ok i’ll stfu now
take me higher than i’ve ever been by @ireallysawanangel / crimsontheory
it’s a beautiful thing to watch the development of their relationship develop & grow. the way louis supports him, teases him, and loves him is brilliantly written.
to lure a hummingbird (you had me a moonstruck) by @broken-beaks / brokenbeaks
they get off to a rocky start, but the way louis handles harry’s insecurities in such a supportive, protective, tender way is absolutely beautiful to read as it unfolds.
the library universe by @allwaswell16 / allwaswell16
i don’t think i can stress enough how much i adore this universe. louis’ teasing, harry’s denial, the way louis slowly but surey claws his way into harry’s heart. i have so much love for this universe. thank you anitra for allowing me to write a fic (currently a wip) inspired by it.
the clock strikes christmas by @jacaranda-bloom / jacaranda_bloom
rich louis takes homeless harry home with him, feeds him, clothes him, and loves him. harry does hold his own by insisting on getting a job & becoming an independent baby. we truly do love to see it.
the flower that blooms in adversity by @hershelsue / docklands
this is the fic that made me realize that i’m not opposed to pregnancy kink & lactation kink if larry is involved LMAO. louis being so protective, attentive, and ready to help harry feel safe & taken care of is truly what dreams are made of. throw in some hot smut w dirty talk??? yes please!
tell me what you need by @disgruntledkittenface / disgruntledkttenface
louis giving harry shit about his coffee order when he barely even knows him, making his order the exact way he asked for it after he gives him shit for it & then teasing him about it the next time??? what a time to be alive!!!!
the only one (when it’s said and done) by @londonfoginacup / ladylondonderry
louis is ready and willing to take stranger omega harry home with him to make sure he has a proper nest. harry is louis’ baby from the first moment louis blinks at him. you cannot tell me otherwise.
want you more than a by @donotdialnine / thecellardoor
this fic takes a cliche that could be done so predictably & instead puts its own twist on it to make it unique, cute, sexy & exciting. again, exudes the definition of harry is louis’ baby. one of my fav fics ever. the dom/sub dynamic is done in a way that flows so easily with the fic & their personalities. ugh i’m obsessed
wasn’t expecting that by @yourpricelessadvice / yourpricelessadvice
poor harry tries to get his shit together and the way louis communicates is such a well done scene. there’s angst. there’s implied homophobia. but there’s also so much love and fluff. all louis wants is to love and support harry.
we are ghosts amongst these hills by orphan_account
i’ve said this before & i’ll say it again: this fic makes me miss a 17th century soulmate that i don’t have!!! once you get to the end, you have to go back to the beginning to reread everything. tw for violence, quite heavy angst in one area and time period typical homophobia. phenomenal overall.
you’ll breathe me in (you won’t release) by loadedgunn
i think 99% of this fandom knows this fic, but here’s my thoughts: it addresses the power imbalances well, there’s angst, fluff, and smut. the dirty talk and possessiveness are magical. their personal character & relationship growth is so perfectly done and you can really feel how much louis & harry love and care about each other.
you take me over, you’re the magic in my veins by supernope
this is harry is louis’ baby but in a forbidden love kinda way that doesn’t feel like a forbidden love bc it feels so right is amazing. louis is immediately intrigued by & endeared by harry, harry’s enamored by louis & is constantly torn between flirting with him and respecting their fate. in this fic, it’s in the little things.
***as always, please remember to support these lovely, talented authors by leaving kudos & comments on any of the fics that you read !!!***

Per @aroaessidhe: Little Thieves, The Kindred, The Summer of Bitter and Sweet, Gender Queer, (and I think The Bone Season?) have ace or demisexual MCs, not aromantic. also, a lot of the rest are side characters, not main characters.
Thank you, genuinely, so much, for this correction. I'm very sorry for the mistake. I create these guides between work assignments (I work from home, around the clock, trying to make ends meet in this mess of an economy) and didn't do my due diligence in double-checking every book. I think this started as an aro/ace list I was compiling and I tried to separate it into two guides. I apologize for the discrepancy vehemently and will strive to do better in the future. Thank you for catching my error.

Gn!Actor!Reader talking about Josh Hutcherson through the years(2012-2023)
Tumblr media
tell me if you guys wanna see more of these :)
Gn!Actor!Reader talking about Josh Hutcherson through the years(2012-2023)
TW:none
2012 - The Hunger Games Era
"So, y/n, you've been working with such talented people, who's the one who you really grew close to"The interviewer asks with a smile as he shifts in his seat a bit
Y/n chukles a bit at the question"It was probably with Josh Hutcherson we just kinda got each other instantly"They say with a small smile
"Any memorable moments behind the scenes with him?"He asks
"Oh,there was a time when they-the team-ere filming scenes when me and Josh weren't in so they let us go into the bakery, that is actually a bakery and make something" They say with a smile, the memories flooding back
"Well how tasty were the goods?"He asks with a small smile
"Let's just say, we're better actors than bakers" they say with a small laugh
2013 - Catching Fire
"Well people love you and Josh,so what do you think about further movies together?"The interviewer asks with smile as she fixes her own hair a bit
"There will definitely be more movies together, and I don't know why people cast us together all the time"Y/n explains, with a small smile while furrowing her brows
"It's the dynamic between the two of you"She says with a smile
"Maybe!"
2014 - Escobar: Paradise Lost
"Another film with Josh in one year, how was it? What happened off screens"She asks
"Well.. Not a lot actually"They say with a small chukle"uhm,he basically tutored me in Spanish all the time behind the screens,so there were no 'omg we did this!' Behind the scenes but it was fun"They say
2018 - Future Man
"You and Josh have both directed and acted in the show, correct?"the interviewer asks, fixing his glasses
"Correct" They say, giving a small nod
"Its a very humorous movie with many... interesting scenes, how did those came to mind?"He asks
Y/n chukles knowing what kind of scenes he meant"while we were writing the plot and the script one of us would go like 'wouldn't this be funny' and the other one would say ''thats hilarious' and then we wrote it in"They explain with a small smirk"it was interesting, let's just say that!"
2018 - The Disaster Artist
"How did you and Josh prepare for that role, since both of you had to play a very different character pairing it to other movies?"She asks, looking between y/n and Josh
"We did Method acting, actually"Josh says, as his gaze moves to y/,a smile creeping on his face
"Yeah, we attempted to make our worst movie, ever" They says with a smile"but it ended up pretty good"
2023 - Mockingjay Part 2
"Back to the 'Hunger Games' franchise with 'Mockingjay Part 2.' How does it feel knowing that you were apart of such a famous and beautiful trilogy with such amazing actors?"
"It's bittersweet, but I can't complain.I made many friends in the way,Jen,Josh,Sam and I could go all day" They say, with a smile
"Could you even say that it's the best cast you ever had"He asks with a small smile as he raises his eyebrow
"I could and I would say that, everyday when I go to bed I wish that when I wake up I will be back in 2012 in the filming set, but you know all good things must come to an end eventually"

Lucky
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jennifer Walters x (Fem!) Reader
Summary: After Jennifer gets fired from the LA Law Firm, all she wants to do is hide from everyone. However, when she gets summoned to a family dinner she turns to her best friend: Nikki to accompany her. But, after she gets turned away, she turns to one of her other closest friends.
Warnings: Awkward budding romance, swearing, implied catcalling, Semi-NSFW
Key: Italics = Thoughts, +*+ = Time Skip, Bold/Indent = Text messages, +++/Italic Words = Flashback
Theme: Lucky - Jason Mraz/Colbie Caillat
A/n: Okay this has been sitting in my drafts for awhile...
-------------------------------------------------------------
*Jen’s POV* “Oh no!” You groan
“What? You get fired again?” Nikki asks
You shoot your head up to your best friend.
“Sorry...” She sighs
“Family Dinner right after I get fired,” You groan, “Please come with me...”
“I can’t, I have a date,” Nikki turns down the offer
“I will never forgive you for this...” Jen groans
“Oh don’t lose hope, maybe you should invite y/n,” Nikki suggests
“Y/n Y/l/n?” She asks, “We haven’t even spoken to each other since college graduation and since she got that one job overseas...”
“Actually, I saw her at Legal Ease a couple weeks ago,” She says, “We talked and apparently she’s found a job here. I’m sure she’d love to see you again. Whether it’s to attend your family commotion or just spend time with you.”
After Nikki leaves to go on her supposed date, You sit on your couch as you debates whether to go at it solo or bring someone.
“Jen?” A voice calls over the phone
“Hey Y/n,” You let out a breathy chuckle, “Been awhile but umm... Listen... I got fired from my job because-”
“Because you were forced to use your new powers to protect the jury?” She asks, “Saw the news... Sorry about that Jen, so what is it you need?”
“I need someone to accompany me to my family’s dinner tonight...” You tense
Silence rolls over as you wait for Y/n’s response.
“Okay, are you picking me up or?...” She finally answers
“Oh thank god!...” You breathe, “I’ll come get you in about... 30 minutes?... Is that enough time?”
“Perfect,” She says
*Y/n’s POV* You give Jen the address to your place as you throw on a light jacket.
Hey, I’m here.
Cool, I’ll be down in a minute.
You walk down the stairs as you brush some of your hair aside as you walk up to Jennifer’s car.
“Hey Y/n,” She greets you with a half smile
“Hey yourself Jen,” You smile, buckling yourself in, “You’ve been doing okay?”
“No,” She sighs, beginning to drive, “I need to bring something over...”
“We can stop by the bakery up the street here,” You suggest, “See if there’s anything?”
Jen nods at your suggestion and parallel parks along the street. You were the one stepping out of the car first. You went around to the front of the car as you wait for Jen to meet you. However, you look over and see a car dashing by at the last second.
“Jen!” You grab her by the wrist
You yank her into you as the car simply rushes by.
“Ass,” You grumble, watching the car continue its way
You look down at Jen, still seemingly in shock from the whole ordeal.
“You okay?” You ask, brushing a strand of her curly hair back
She nods. Instead of letting her go, the both of you stay in each others’ embrace.
“Thanks,” Jen clears her throat, stepping to the side
The both of you walk into the bakery.
“Ahh a young couple!” The baker announces to no one but the two of you
You look to Jen and then down to your unknowingly interlaced fingers. However, neither of you questioned it as you walk up to the other side of the glass.
“What pie do you have out right now?” You ask
“A cherry pie just came out of the oven,” He says, “I’ll go grab it and pack it up.”
He leaves the both of you by your lonesome.
“So... Other than lawyer and she-hulk things, what else have you been up to?” You ask, trying to break the silence
“Nothing that would excite you,” Jen sighs, “There hasn’t been much since college.”
“Just hanging around with you already excites me enough,” You blurt
“What?” She asks
“What?” You ask back
Did I just say that out loud?
“Only one cherry pie?” The baker comes back
“Yep,” You clear your throat, “How much?”
“It’s on the house today ladies,” He smiles, handing you the boxed pie
“Thanks,” You smile, beginning to follow Jen out of the bakery
You place the pie in your lap as Jen continues driving to her family estate.
“So your entire family knows you’re a hulk right?” you ask
“Yeah why?” She asks
“Just wondering,” You say, “Normally the typical superhero has a secret identity and would often put them in danger...”
“It’s quite difficult to not announce it since your cousin is also a hulk,” Jen says
“That’s true,” You say, “Isn’t it difficult to keep control of? Since, Bruce had to take a long time to learn to cope with his hulk.”
+*+
The both of you stand awkwardly at her parents’ door. However, smiles swipe across their face as they see you.
“Oh, Y/n, so glad you’re able to join us tonight!” Her mother immediately hugs you
“Oh well, it was nice of Jen to invite me,” You sigh awkwardly
They help you and Jen with the pie and settle the two of you in the open seats at the table.
“I’ve been promoted to manager at the Best Buy!” Chet announces
Your eyes drift to Jen, her eyes dropping towards her plate. Everyone cheering him. Your hand drifts to Jen’s leg under the table and give her thigh a gentle squeeze. Instinctively she places her hand over yours.
“What have you been up to Y/n?” Jen’s mother asks
“Huh?” You ask, your eyes darting into her direction
“Have you’ve been up to anything?” She repeats her question
“Uhm... I recently opened a gallery downtown,” You chuckle nervously
You hear small cheers and back pats...
“We’ll have to come see it, how long is it there for?” She asks
“Awhile,” You say, “Don’t worry there’ll be many opportunities for you guys to go.”
+*+
After the dinner party, the two of you sit in Jen’s car, silence rolling in.
“Do you want to... Come over to my place for a drink?” Jen asks
“Sure,” You reply
You follow Jen up to her apartment.
“Sorry about the mess,” She says, opening the door, “Last minute decision to invite someone who isn’t Nikki over.”
“Ahh Nikki,” You say, “Hey, why couldn’t she go with you?”
“Claimed she had a date,” Jen sighs, falling into her couch
You take a seat next to her and place the wine glass on the nearly crowded coffee table.
“Sucks,” You sigh
“It just occurred to me, did you ever date?” Jen asks
“Only liked one person in the entirety of ever,” You say
“Wow, how did that work out?” She asks
“Her ambition to get her degree was the only thing on her mind,” You sigh, taking a swig of wine, “And yet, Never have I ever left her side, supporting her through it and through everything she went through.”
Jen sits next to you, oddly attempting to figure out why on what she was saying sounded familiar to her.
+++
“Jen, do you ever think about finding a certain someone to settle down with?” You ask
“Why would I need to?” She asks, her eyes glued to her laptop screen, “Being a lawyer is full time, I don’t have time to look for someone... Besides, dating a lawyer doesn’t sound like the adventure of a lifetime.”
“It’s not about the profession, it’s how you decide to spend time with that person,” You say
“Also, Lawyers make a decent amount if you know what I mean,” Nikki winks
“Nikk, it’s also not about how much money people make,” You groan in annoyance, “It mostly matters how much both parties are willing to give to the other.”
“Believe me I wouldn’t be giving too much effort,” Jen sighs
“I beg to differ,” You say, hoping only loud enough for you to hear
However, your eyes say it all: I’m in love with you Jennifer Walters... You crushed on her since you first met her in the dining hall after she stupidly didn’t have her wallet that moment in time. The only other person who seemed to notice was Nikki.
+*+
Jen’s POV You and Nikki were in your shared apartment, working on classwork .
“God I cannot focus,” You groan in frustration, rubbing your eyes
“Why don’t you take a break?” Nikki asks, “I’m sure Y/n is up for something.”
“Y/n? Why her in particular?” You ask
“Because I decided to last minute do this assignment,” Nikki lies, “Plus, if you didn’t hear me before, I'm sure Y/n is up for something. Especially when it comes to you.”
“What do you mean by ‘especially when it comes to you’, bit?” You ask
“Nothing in particular,” Nikki says, “Now go hit her up.”
Hey... Y/n?
Yeah?
You free? Nikki is forcing me to ask you if you wanted to grab food or something.
Don’t you have an important paper due tomorrow night?
Yes but like I said, Nikki is making me take a break. But, I never like being too far away from my laptop...
Tell you what, I’ll bring my stuff over, bring food over and we all chill and do work together?
Aren’t you working on some kind of art project though?
We don’t have to take the same classes just for us to come together. You do know that right?
That’s true...
Okay, I’ll be over with food soon.
Y/n’s POV Although the idea of having alone time with Jen was way more enticing than getting together like the usual, you didn’t want her to force herself away from her studies. Even if Nikki suggested it/forced Jen to take a break, you were going to get to see her either way.
+*+
You were in your college apartment, working on a project until you hear your phone go off.
Hey I need your help with something...
If it’s anything lawyer stuff, I don't know how much of help I can be.
Opposite, Nikki and I went out to Legal Ease and there are these two guys eyes us down and Nikki seems super out of it... Can you come save us?
Yeah, I’ll be there in a minute.
You throw on a light jacket and grab your keys as you rush out of the door, nearly forgetting to put on shoes. You hop into your car as you pull up a phone tracking app that you, Nikki and Jen all agreed to get in case either of you three would be in a pickle, and two of your closest friends were just in that situation. You follow the directions as fast, and legal as possible. You step into the bar and easily eye Jen and a nearly knocked out Nikki. However, in the midst of trying to look after her friend, she was also trying to evade two catcalling guys.
“Hey babe, sorry I’m late,” You hastily walk up to her
In the moment, you press your thumb against and slide your index finger under her chin as you pull her in for a kiss. Jen’s eye widen however leans into it to make it more believable.
“That damn project really beating my ass,” You sigh, “Oh, I’m sorry if I interrupted your horrible flirting game but try harder.”
Surprisingly they easily backed off. You were expecting them to become persistent. They immediately go back to where they were sitting, somber looks on their faces.
“Made sure they wouldn’t pull anything,” Pedro leans in
“Thanks Pedro,” You slide him a hefty tip, “Okay... Let’s get you two back to my place...”
+*+
You gently kick the door open as you struggle with Jen to place a now passed out Nikki into your bed.
“God I hope she doesn't puke in my bed,” You sigh, cracking your back
Jen places a trash bin on the floor, relatively in the area where Nikki’s head is.
“Works,” You say
You begin setting up the couch (which was not a pull-out couch) for Jen.
“Where will you sleep?” She asks
“I’ll makeshift a bed on the floor,” You say
“Nonsense, get in here,” Jen suggests
“Jen, I have literally slept in odder places,” You say
“Nope, no arguments with a future lawyer,” Jen yawns, “Now get in here...”
Not willing to argue with her, you awkwardly find your way onto the couch. You felt like a board.
“Friends can cuddle you know,” Jen chuckles
She gently takes your forearms as she pulls you right off the edge of the couch.
“Why are you so stiff?” She asks,” It’s only me.”
“Been a day,” You lie, “Also I just... At least... My other friends and I don’t cuddle...”
“So you’ve never cuddled with anyone before?” she asks
“More like I hugged my giant stuffed animals back home until I couldn't find them the next morning,” You chuckle
“You’re how old and you still cuddle with stuffed animals?” Jen asks
“What person at what age DOESN’T have stuffed animals to cuddle with?” You ask
“Okay point taken,” She rolls her eyes
“Come on, we got a long day tomorrow...” You sigh
“It’s Saturday,” She says
“Who cares?” You sigh, “I’m tired...”
Jen’s POV You open your eyes, half awake, eyes adjusting to the darkness. You look down at Y/n; laying soundly asleep below you.
--Y/n places her thumb and herr index finger under your chin as she pulls you in for a kiss. Your eyes widen however lean into it to make it more believable.--
You think about the moment Y/n kissed you. That was the first time you ever had someone kiss you. Let alone having it be from a female.
Was it real or?...
You wanted to see for yourself. You hoist your leg over Y/n’s lap to straddle her as you begin learning down closer to her face, cupping her cheeks as you begin closing the distance between your faces. Still being half asleep you weren’t sure how to kiss really. You felt a hand trail up your back and another hand cup your cheek. Your body jolted, your torso falling right on top of hers in the midst of your 3am makeout session.

Y/n’s POV When Jen pulls herself out of her memories, she was about to turn to you however, you were no longer on the couch. She looks up further to see you in the kitchen, beginning to tidy up the place; taking the garbage and putting them in the trash, cleaning the dishes even if you didn’t use them, etc. In reality, you were trying to occupy your mind temporarily. However, you stop everything that you were doing when you felt hands latch onto your midsection.
“You make it easier when life gets hard,” Jen confesses
“What wasn’t easier was trying to convince you to go on a date with me.” You chuckle
“Then what was that makeout session that one night then?!” She asks
“Huh?” You ask, “Oh... I was merely half awake during that. But uh... I did want to follow up but...”
“But?” Jen asks
“Like you said back then, you didn’t believe you had time for a relationship so... I kinda just gave up... Not really gave up but... Put it aside for you so that you could focus on that degree,” You explain, “So, I just pretended like I forgot about it. When in reality, it was all I ever thought about. Even graduating, taking that one job overseas... I never stopped thinking about it...”
“Why didn’t you say anything sooner?” She asks
“I didn’t want it distracting you from your Law degree,” You confess
“And... What did you want?” She asks
You turn to face Jen; her hands still latched around your waist.
“I wanted... For you to see me the way I see you,” You say, “To be that willing to give someone a chance... Give me a chance...”
Jen looks at you... How was she so blind at the fact you were actually showcasing real feelings to her, yet you found a way to put them aside for her. You tense up when her palms come back around and open up, pressing firmly on your lower torso as she stands on her tip toes; attempting to reach your face.
“I appreciate you putting your feelings aside in order to support my life,” Jen says, “But, it’s my turn to put that aside to allow my real feelings come to fruition.”
“Wh-what do you mean Jen?” You ask
“I’ve liked you for a long time Y/n,” She says, “I just never really thought about it until that night...”
