[● Feelin not good so I'm shifting back to another time and digivolving to the mega Creep. This also involves me maybe ditching my hyperfixation for a little while, maybe until I stop getting wringed out by nature.

In other words I decided to draw some lesser known horror characters from movies I care about because nobody even knows what the fuck a [● REC] is if they're not deep into the horror rabbit hole

I decided to draw Ángela Vidal, Erin Ulmer, Paxton Rodriguez, and Angela Baker (wow that's two Angelas. How funny).

I also did a small tiny Amanda *just* out of respect, like I may be taking a 8r8k but she doesn't count, she is not just a fictional character, she's my bbg and I will never be rid of her (I can't, she lives in my house with me forever and my mom loves her)

I bet my family will be absolutely relieved that I'm finally shutting up for a little bit. It is a double edged sword though because I'm probably going to revert back to Scott Pilgrim on Friday ☆ okay I'm done talking goodbye]

Fright-Rags has also released Sleepaway Camp II & III trading cards in single packs (nine cards and a sticker) for $5, factory boxes (80 cards, two stickers, and a checklist) for $35, and sealed boxes (two full base sets, two full sticker sets, two checklists, one autograph card, and a printing plate) for $120.

i just know eddie would looooove frankenhooker and texas chainsaw massacre 2 and return of the living dead and sleepaway camp 2, etc. am i biased bc those are my favorite 80’s horror movies? absolutely, but i wholeheartedly believe he’d looooove the campy dark comedy side to horror and he’d eat them up the way i do anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I never got around to seeing this on my own so it was only a matter of time for it to show up in a random spin. So now I get to subject everyone to how much I like Sleepaway Camp and this sequel.

CW: Homophobia and transphobia

Look, I always say I love fun, silly garbage, and that's exactly what this movie is. The characters aren't complex, but have great lines and jokes that sound just lame enough to be super realistic. The effects aren't impressive, but the kills still get creative and fun with it.

There's post-kill one-liners and direct references to pop and horror culture bubbling out of the woodwork in this thing! Definitely more of a horror comedy than the first.

As for the elephant in the room: I haven't watched this with any transfem friends, but considering the ending of the first movie and their commitment to keeping Angela as Angela, then the bar is on the ground and I'm just happy no one brought a shovel. There's exactly two instances of people still trying to call her Peter and the one time it's directed at her in the finale, Angela stands by her current identity.
