Real Skincare Guide
Tumblr media
Level 1: breakouts, non-painful, a little scarring
Minimize your skincare routine, all you need is an oil cleanser (if you wear a lot of makeup) than a good foam cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Repeat the same routine before bed just without the sunscreen.
Wear sunscreen everyday!!!
Always apply more moisturizer than you think you need.
Drink a lot of water (2-3LT)
Get consistent sleep
Take a multi vitamins to balance your hormones. I recommend the One-A-Day Woman’s Vitamins (get a real pill cause the gummies don’t have enough iron)
Work on your stress (breathe work, meditate, journal, yoga, walks, going out with friends, therapy, etc)
Look at what body oils/shampoo/conditioner you are using. Could be your akin reacting poorly to something in there.
Level 2: consistant breakouts, acne, scarring
All the stuff for Level 1 apply.
Minimize your skincare routine and than slowly add back in stuff like hydrochloric acid and retinol. Having an elaborate skincare will just make your skin worse. First, focus on healing your skin barrier.
If you are a teenager, it just might be your hormones/growing pains. It will go away eventually.
Pimple Patches work and are especially good if you are trying to stop touching your face.
Wash your pillow cases every 1-2 weeks.
Try to sleep on your back.
If you pop a pimple than apply an antibiotic ointment.
No point in using anti-aging products if you are under the age of 25. It just won’t do anything for you.
Note that if you take in a lot of nicotine you will breakout. If you smoke and you have bad skin, it probably won’t improve unless you quit or lessen the dosage.
Level 3: painful consistent breakouts/acne/scars, redness, irritability, hurts,
Go see a dermatologist!
Acne is can be a real problem. If your acne is painful seek professional help.
If Accutane is recommended, than I would do it. Based only on the experiences of my friends, I have seen great results after a couple months. There are side effects and it is not for everyone but if a professional says you should than I might consider it.
No topical treatment is going to make those scars go away. You are going to need to laser resurfacing which is like this secret treatment rich people do to clear up their skin. It is expensive but really works. Beauty brands want you to think that the right cream can clear up your skin but if you have bad scarring you are only going to see real results with laser treatments
All of the above recommendations still apply
Your acne does not take away from your beauty or your worth as a human being. Remember that acne is normal and social media is fake.

Discover The Secret Ingredient In Parama Products
First things First: Why Turmeric?
Turmeric, India’s ancient skincare and wellness ingredient, is known for its immunity-boosting, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti-bacterial, antifungal, anti-anxiety, soothing, stimulating and antioxidant properties. It has been applied for generations by people of all ages to counter the effects of age, environment and lifestyle, and to prevent and address specific skin issues like acne, rashes, blemishes, scars and uneven skin tone.
(To learn more about Turmeric and its multiple benefits you can read our blog “Turmeric Shakti-19 Benefits and Counting”)
Why stain-free Turmeric?
Despite all the benefits, turmeric slowly lost its appeal over time as a skincare application.
Why? Because:
it leaves a yellow stain
it is messy
its application is time consuming
Parama Naturals has been able to bring back the magic of turmeric into skincare without the mess or the stains.
How do we get stain-free turmeric?
The cornerstone of Parama Naturals is a pure extract of Turmeric without its characteristic yellow dye, made using a chemical and solvent-free, safe process. This extract is then blended with a range of natural and pure time-tested powerhouses like cold-pressed oils rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, which act on different layers of the skin and are quick-absorbing.
The Process
We use a technologically advanced process (CO2-SCFE) to separate the yellow pigment from the turmeric oil extracted from dried turmeric rhizomes. Supercritical Fluid Extraction using Carbon Dioxide or CO2-SCFE is rapidly gaining acceptance as the most preferred extraction technology the world over for natural extraction of relatively non-polar aromatic compounds for the following reasons:
The process is accepted by the Ayurvedic Pharmacopeia as an acceptable, safe and effective method.
The flavour, odour and active ingredient profiles of the extracts remain as close as possible to the original raw material.
Selective extractions are possible by precisely tuning the extraction process and parameters.
The CO2-SCFE process ensures that no harmful solvents, chemicals or chemical residues are present in the extract.
The extract retains the natural character, complexity, delicacy, freshness, smell and taste which is most essential for the food, fragrance and pharmaceutical industries.
Why supercritical CO2 extracts?
There is no loss of volatile components during the extraction process.
CO2 is an inert gas and does not react with any of the substrates to form allied products.
CO2 prevents oxidation of the extract.
There is selective fractionation and extraction of almost all active nodes.
It is suitable for thermally unstable or thermo-labile products
The extract retains the character and complexity of the plant source
Supercritical CO2 extracts are pure and safe for human consumption with no organic solvents or solvent residues.
CO2 is non-toxic.
There is no use of organic solvents and no solvent residues which may be harmful for human consumption.
CO2 contains no inorganic salts or heavy metals.
CO2 retards microbial/bacterial growth in the extraction process.
No extraction of the pesticidal substances from primary flora takes place.
CO2 is certified as GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe) as per USFDA.
CO2 meets California Proposition 65 requirements.
CO2 is certified as a safe solvent as per the Directive of the European Parliament and Council for food ingredients.
CO2 is well-accepted by the International Federation of Organic Movement (IFOAM).
CO2 is acceptable as a food additive by the Japanese Specifications and Standards for Food and Food Additives.
Now that you know the lengths that we go to in order to give you products made with the purest, safest and finest of ingredients, you have no excuse to deprive your skin of the benefits of Turmeric. So, bask in the luxury of Parama Natural oils without any hassle or concerns and say goodbye to all your skin worries!
You can buy Parama Naturals Turmeric Oils here.

my current skincare routine 🫧🧴
Tumblr media Tumblr media
concerns ♡ oily skin, hormonal acne, scars, pores, sensitive skin? idk
cleansing ♡
cleansing my skin is one of my favorite steps! i love removing all the impurities on skin and prepping my skin for the next steps. i always double cleanse {even though i don’t wear makeup} and massage the cleanser in for 60 secs and rinse with warm water.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
exfoliation ♡
i have sensitive skin, so i’m careful not to over exfoliate or use harsh techniques/ingredients, but i still like having smooth skin :3 . i do this step 2-3 times a week using either the exfoliating cloth i got from fenty beauty or an exfoliating cleanser. with either a physical or chemical exfoliant, i’m really gentle and just lightly buff away the dead skin to reveal the beautiful soft supple skin underneath. <3
toner ♡
just recently i started exploring toners with active ingredients! i used to always use witch hazel and call it a day but i became curious abt korean or japanese beauty and what their skincare is like. i have a ‘special’ liquid toner {the strawberry milk pure cure from the creme shop} and toner pads {one step moisture from cosrx} both are super hydrating which i love and the strawberry milk one smells super good. <333
tmi but in high school i used to use straight alcohol as a toner 🫣 and i remembered i burned my skin from being to rough with it pFFT!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
mask ♡
i’m absolutely obsessed with sheet masks. they’ve become quite the addictive purchase and frequently used in my routine and i’m not upset abt that. they’re also very relaxing and my skin feels so rejuvenated after. i always follow the directions on the pack for time limit and then pat the leftover essence into my skin. {bonus points bc i use the extra essence on my body :3} i a l s o have an overnight sleeping mask from laniege which applies like a moisturizer rather than a sheet mask.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
moisturizer ♡
my moisturizer really does depend on a few factors: my skin condition, time of day, and season/weather. i rotate between a gel cream, heavy cream, or light lotion/cream. gel creams are for my breakout/oiliest days; light creams are for normal skin condition, daytime and warmer days; and heavy creams are for drier skin, colder weather, and nights. {i hope that made sense}
Tumblr media Tumblr media
treatment ♡
treatments are the extra steps i take when my skin needs it. recently i just weathered a serious breakout and my skin is scarred to the high heavens </3 so when i get the chance i use a spot treatment to help fade scars and help my skin heal {what acne? spot treatment by the creme shop} i also have a few of their acne patches in cute heart, star, and cloud shapes which i use to speed healing and protect the area from further irritation.
tips ♡
always start with clean hands and tools
pat, don’t rub
let your products set for a minute or two in between steps for maximum absorption
after finishing your routine, allow your face to absorb everything for 5-10 mins before wearing a mask, applying makeup or going to bed etc
change pillow cases often
introduce a only few new products a months to avoid extreme irritation
most importantly: do what works for you 🫶🏽
as always,
thanks for reading 🛁

3 ingredients to add to your skincare routine ♡
Hey babes! I'm super excited today to share with you some awesome ingredients that you should be adding to your skincare regimen. I've been doing a lot of studying lately to give all you gals and pals the latest scoop on the best ingredients for your face!!
ok, so before we get started I did want to add a disclaimer, I'm not a licensed esthetician, I just reallllly love skincare. so please take what I say with a grain of salt and make sure these are right for you before adding them to your regimen!
Tumblr media
Japanese Indigo ♡
highlights:
Plants extract helps comfort irritated skin
Helps support the skin barrier
Helps provide anti-inflammatory relief
Helps flush away toxins and irritants
Supports the natural barrier function
Possesses restorative and smoothing properties
good for psoriasis
this versatile plant is phenomenal for sensitive skin,, and those prone to acne as well as soothing dry, itchy skin. Ok, so obvs i had to add this one to the list, right? there's this brand called "Tatcha" that have wonderful creams with this ingredient!
Tumblr media
Niacinamide ♡
Form of b-3
Helps treat acne
Helps build keratin
Helps skin grow lipid barrier
Reduces inflammation
Minimizes pore appearance
Regulates oil
Protected against sun damage
Treats hyperpigmentation
Minimizes fine lines and wrinkles
Protects against oxidative stress
this can be found both in topical and in supplement form, and is a form of vitamin b2! Not only does it reduce inflammation, but it also helps keep skin smooth and moisturized. This is a def add to your list, and "The Ordinary" has a very inexpensive product with it! I personally absolutely love it, also I just wanna mention that no links are affiliates on this post :)
Tumblr media
Azelaic Acid ♡
Anti-inflammatory
Treats acne and rosacea
Cleans pores
Treats acne scarring
so we all know and love acids like glycolic and aminos, but what about azelaic? this acid is antimicrobial, and encourages cell turnover! it comes in the form of a lightweight cream-gel system, and is great for all skin types!
Reinforces skin barrier
Increases hydration
Fewer visible lines and wrinkles
Ideal for all skin types
Work most effective with fatty acids, glycerin, and cholesterol.
these lipids are found in the skin cells and make up 30-%40 of ypur outer skin layer. They help create a barrier to prevent permeability, which then locks moisture in.
Well guys! That's all I have for today. These are just some wonderful skincare ingredients you should be looking for in your products! Bye babes <3

skincare routine ?
hair routine ?
💞
I have a detailed skin care routine somewhere on my blog but I can’t find it so I’ll redo it!
I take birth control for my endocrinological disorder and it helps with acne. The best brith control for acne is Yaz.
Morning ☀️
Wash face with Neogen a clear foaming cleanser
Exfoliate 2 times a week with Rachel’s best soaps exfoliating peel.
Tone with AHA BHA PHA 30 day miracle toner
Apply medicine of Clindamycin and let dry
Apply vitamin C serum and use my red light wand if I have time in the morning. I have seen wonders with my acne scars from the red light therapy!
Moisturize with Cerave because it’s cheap and has ceramides.
Apply sunscreen which is la roche posay 100 melt in milk sunscreen.
On the go use derma e sun screen powder
Night 🌙
Cleanse off makeup with either clean it zero oil cleanser or micellar water. The oil works better but it’s is more labor intensive so if I’m tired after work I use the water.
Wash with Neogen.
Tone with same toner
Use Clindamycin
Use peach and lily glass skin serum and red light wand.
Apply retinol. I use inky list for face and the peace out retinol eye stick for the eyes. However I do want to get prescription strength soon.
Moisturize with Cerave
Then apply an oil. Like grape seed which helps acne or bio oil.
Face masks
I recommend the ordinary salicylic acid mask for breakouts. For sheet masks I love sincere Laura sake lees masks , Tony moly’s I’m rice masks, and Petitfee gold snail hydro masks.
Hair 💇‍♀️
I clarify once a week with nature lab clarifying scalp scrub.
Shampoo with Redken color extend blondage so that my highlights don’t go brassy.
Condition with Himawari gloss and repair. I really recommend Japanese conditioner for ladies with fine hair.
After shower I spray living proof restore perfecting spray.
And if air drying I also use glasglow sea salt spray
Boar brushes are amazing to use too!

First Understanding My Skin
Skin for me has always been a blessing and a curse. The best skin I have ever had was in high school, I have had my troubles with acne like a regular 16-year-old but other than that I have had really clear skin. At the age of 24 I have had more complications with my skin than ever.
I guess being a teenager aided in my skin since I was only, but it was not something that was out of control. Using a simple face wash would help all my problems go away but not anymore. I can not even pop a pimple on my face now without the fear of it causing a scar. My skin moved over to being less oily and more prone to dryness which in my turn caused more scarring. Right now, I want to get my skin back to the normal phase it was in but with a lot more care and products.
How Will I Treat It?
Within the next six months I am going to treat my skin with the same products to see if these hyped-up items from TikTok and Instagram can really make a difference in the dryness and hyperpigmentation I have. I will be using an array of different products from different brands to see they are really living up to their names and what they claim to achieve. These are the names of the brands I will be using in this experiment, and I will talk about how I will use them.
Faded Topicals
The Ordinary
Good Molecules
The Body Shop
The Inkey List
Tatcha
Supergoop
Murad
What Will Be My Skincare Routine?
These are my five steps to the routine I will follow every day.
I will first start off my routine by using a cleanser. I will be cleaning my face with The Body Shop’s tea tree facial wash. It claims to be a purifying facial wash that will help me with my blemished skin and get rid of the grim and buildup on my face.
After this I will go in with The Ordinary’s toner to help me exfoliate my skin and improve the texture of my skin. It claims that the Tasmanian Pepperberry, ginseng root, and aloe would give me the radiance that I want while soothing the dryness of my skin. The main ingredient in this would be the glycolic acid which will also aid in reducing irritation on the skin.
The third step to this will be my serums. I will start off with the lightest to the heaviest serums. Starting off I will apply the discoloration correcting serum by Good Molecules. They claim to help me improve the unevenness of my skin tone. With the star ingredients being tranexamic acid and niacinamide, they state that this will help with even old age spots, acne scare and hyperpigmentation. Next, I will apply my alpha arbutin serum by The Inkey List, to help me also get rid of the dark spots while giving me the moisture I need back into my skin. The main ingredients are the alpha arbutin and squalene. The last product I am going to apply will be the Faded Topicals, brightening and clearing serum. This claims to also aid in my destruction of the stubborn dark marks on my face. They claim to brighten and revive my tired skin while also helping me balance my skin tone.
After letting these products dry into my skin, I will move on to the moisturizing cream side of this routine. I will go in with the Murad’s hydro-dynamic ultimate moisture eye cream. They claim to help quench my eye area so that way when I turn 75, I have the eyes of a 24-year-old still. Their main ingredients include hyaluronic acid and algae to seal in the moisture and help me stay smooth. The last moisturizer I will use will be the Tatcha dewy skin cream. They state that this will help to replenish and plump my skin for a healthy glow. Their main ingredient in this cream is Japanese purple rice which they state is ideal for dry skin types.
The last and final step of this routine will be to apply sunscreen. I will only this product in the daytime as I don’t want to have clogged pores in the morning and have my whole skincare routine go down the drain. I will use Supergoop as they are a very good brand for darker skin tones, and they claim to be a scentless sunscreen that is a total game changer with it having 40 spf. Their main ingredients are going to be Frankincense and Meadowfoam which will help with a soothing effect and hydration and even skin texture.
All throughout this journey to the perfect skin I will take note of my pros and cons and what I would and would not do again. Hopefully this will lead me into a holy grail of a routine and not a total madness.

Transmasc HCs in Obey Me!
Is this self-indulgent? Yes, but I’m transmasc and there needs to be more trans and queer stuff in the fandom. I simply write partially from my own perspective.
General
If you were already out in some way in your school/workplace, your name was used on the application.
If you came out during the year and wanted to use your new name at RAD, the administration would immediately take action, informing all teachers of the new name.
Gender-neutral bathrooms are built with magic in case you’re uncomfortable with the gendered ones.
If you’re ever worried about whether you’re going to go to hell for being queer, your friends at RAD will remind that no, you’re not a bad person, and you won’t go to hell for being queer. Your queerness is a beautiful thing and you’ll be reminded of that.
Lucifer
He knew already, but appreciates that you came out to him.
If you come to him for name suggestions, he might be able to come up with something more classy than his brothers.
Your bullies mysteriously vanish if you talk about them with him.
He’s the one who helps the most with getting T and surgery (if you plan on going the human route).
Helps to get you emancipated if you have unaccepting family (he has jokingly suggested just murdering them, though it probably won’t happen).
He takes you and the others to Pride every June. He’ll typically ask which places you want to celebrate at (I’d personally choose NYC or LA)
The man to go to for voice training bless you Kazuya Yamashita (although he’d help with a professional later down the line)
Tries to give you lessons on being a “proper gentleman” but gives up if you don’t show interest.
Studies trans laws in different countries in the human world to make sure which ones are tran-accepting in case you travel with him.
Might help you keep track of which documents need to have your name and gender changed
Might start listening to music by trans artists and enjoy them  (he better listen to Cavetown sdhkvshdvdh)
He might make the occasional dad joke about your name or about being trans (you can’t tell he doesn’t enjoy dad jokes a little, especially after the credit card debacle)
Mammon
It takes him some time to understand when you come out, but my goodness is he a vocal supporter.
He’s the most likely to accompany you to public bathrooms if you feel uncomfortable. The others attempt to follow suit, but Mammon won’t let them near you.
Do not come to this man for name ideas, he’d probably come up with something like “Mammon 2: Electric Boogaloo.”
With your permission, he and Levi record your journey and post bits and pieces online
Confused if you choose human methods for transitioning, especially because of the price, but will still attempt to save money for any procedures you bring up.
Sends trans memes and might bring it up as an inside joke (if anyone knows the tiktok from jvckass that’s essentially “my chest is versace bro”, i mostly refer to that one)
If you get top surgery, he’ll remind you of some of the wack things you said while on anesthesia
Will comfort you if you bring up having an unaccepting family.
Will probably also start listening to music by trans artists (i will continuously preach the goodness of Cavetown)
Gets the money for it if you need a legal name change, gets surprised if you start crying
Jokingly teaches you about “being a man”
After top surgery, will try to keep the room to just the two of you (unsuccessfully). He’ll still bring up his money schemes as you lie there
Likes buying pride merch for you (flags, pins etc), will deny liking it though hfdigbdkh
Leviathan
If you came out to him and wanted to come up with a name for yourself, he’ll immediately suggest the name “Henry”. He gets a little upset if you don’t like it, but will subsequently throw names of anime characters as suggestions.
Also sends trans memes
Will help you experiment with your look through cosplay.
Records some of the wack things you said when you were still on anesthesia after top surgery
He also just wants to watch anime with you after the surgery. He also finds your chest scars to be pretty cool.
Will try to find anime and other things with trans characters and talk about them with you
He seems to act more like a Japanese otaku than a western weeb, but he would still have to probably unlearn queerphobic language
Satan
Would have probably read at least something on being trans
Would be the one to ask the most questions if they’re not too invasive
Likes to discuss multiple topics such as biology or sociology. Probably will name drop Judith Butler or Julia Serano and have a convo based on that.
Probably might want to watch some shows that have trans characters in them. Buys books with trans characters or by trans authors.
If you’re up for it, he’d give a pet your deadname to help distance yourself from it.
Would be the one to look up “(insert culture here) names for boys” to help pick a name. Gets pissed if teachers can’t pronounce it, regardless of when you came up w the name. Same goes for transphobes at RAD.
If you get surgery, he stays by your bed and reads to you.
Would attempt to make testosterone if you say something about expenses. Also might try to plan forms of surgery
Asmodeus
He’s the one to help with your wardrobe and look (you knew this was gonna be the case). He simply won’t allow you to walk around in that one hoodie. He knows about which shirts and tops makes your chest look flatter. If you want to continue wearing feminine clothes, he’ll help out with the best look. Would get you the rainbow binder as a surprise gift.
Regardless of whether you brought it up, he’d probably buy you a packer. He finds it hilarious.
He might buy a bunch of strap-ons and dildos for you if you don’t get bottom surgery
If you start testosterone in the Devildom, he doubles down on your skincare. Acne gets really difficult, so he’s always there to help.
If you decide to get top surgery, he is going to get you so many pillows. Same goes for bottom surgery.
He’s the one to get you pads if you need them.
On your trips to Pride parades and other queer places, he likes to create outfits for them.
Might try to get Solomon to cast a spell or make a potion to make you “more masculine”
He wants to be the one to cut your hair, but is okay with going to a salon with you
If you ask for names, he probably has a whole list already (it’s just a list of male exes)
Overall, he will remind you of how beautiful you are
Beelzebub
If you have have issues joining a sports team, he’s here to help convince any coaches necessary(although do demons have gendered sports teams is the question)
Encourages you to eat more than ever, especially if you’re on T. He understands when you get really hungry. Brings up foods that increases testosterone. Has you eat pineapples before you get top surgery.
Wants to give you a hug after surgery, but the others tell him about the stitches and fragility
Likes to cuddle you if you want to talk about your dysphoria (much to Mammon’s annoyance) and if you bring up height dysphoria, he likes carrying you around on his shoulders so you can feel taller.
Might try to come up with a food name if you ask
Will punch anyone who attempts to bully you over your queerness
Has you exercise with him more often, especially if you’ve talked about gaining muscle on T.
Belphegor
He doesn’t really mind, but he’s still supportive
Might suggest naps as a way of getting rid of dysphoria.
He gets the concept of transness a bit faster since he used to hang out with humans more.
Diavolo
He’s pretty accepting and finds human’s relationship with gender to be fascinating.
Orders the construction of gender-neutral bathrooms for your comfort
Makes dad jokes about being trans and your name (all in good fun, of course)
With your permission, he might plan a gender-reveal party or a debutante ball for you.
Assures you that you won’t go to hell for being yourself.
Barbatos
He was the first to figure out you are trans, as he was tasked with looking into your history for the exchange program.
He’s accepting as well. If you’re worried about your future, he might give you a couple of hints to show you’ll be ok.
Besides telling Diavolo and Lucifer beforehand, Barbatos is willing to help you stay stealth if that’s what you want.
Solomon
Depending on where’s he from, he might be a bit hesitant, but he’s still accepting (he has no reason to discriminate for religious reasons, he practices magic)
Might suggests magic to help transitioning, but will relent if you’re dead fast on human methods.
Also likes sending trans memes
Simeon
Finds it fascinating to find how far human technology has come for transitioning
If you’re really worried about getting into heaven, Simeon is the best one to reassure you that you will
A calming force for when you have dysphoria
Talks about transness to Luke so he’ll understand
If you can convince him, he might write a new series with a trans character as the protagonist (and other queer characters as well)
He and Asmodeus would team up to make a binder you could wear 24/7
Is a little uncomfortable with the hypersexuality of Pride parades, but understands their necessity.
Luke
The one that takes the most talking to about it, but Simeon accepts you, so Luke follows suit.
Likes to make trans flag cookies for you, especially after reaching certain milestones.
Gets jealous if you start growing taller from T.
Joins Levi on watching trans anime with you.

Julie Lindh Ageless System Beauty Wand 2.0 Review
3-IN-1 MICROCURRENT FACIAL ROLLER
The Beauty Wand 2.0 is comparable to the authentic beauty wand but, in addition to microcurrent, it also has a micro-needling effect — without needles or puncturing the skin!
Tumblr media

The rollers of the Beauty Wand 2.0 have narrow spikes. Rolling the spiked rollers over the skin helps to stimulate fibroblasts, build collagen, boost blood flow, and build up oxygen circulation to give you a healthy glow and plumper skin.
Super easy to use and absolutely impressive! Being a busy mother of two kids I don’t have time for extensive beauty habits. The wand gives results with only short times of daily use and leaves skin rejuvenated, and ”boosted”
This wand is part of my skincare habit. Can’t live without it! I use it every day before sleep time after I wash off my makeup. It helps my skin to look more youthful and no wrinkles.
All this in addition to microcurrent that delivers your facial muscles a mini-workout.
This beauty ageless system is a game-changer. As a beauty industry expert with 20+ years in the business, I can honestly tell you that I saw the results the very next 3 days.
This beauty system fully enhanced my pores, tighten and contoured my jawline and cheekbones, and even benefited with my migraines which I no longer suffer from.
This device is a MUST have as I assure you just as everything else Julie Lindh devices, this brings results that aren’t merely fast but also LASTS!
There are THREE major benefits to using the Beauty Wand 2.0:
1. The friction from the rollers gives the skin a superficial exfoliation, boosts blood flow, and oxygen circulation, delivering the skin a radiant glow naturally.
2. The spikes generate the production of collagen and cultivate younger-looking skin.
3. The micro-current feature helps to firm up muscle tone and contour the face.

BENEFITS of Ageless System Beauty Wand 2.0
Builds collagen
Cuts the presence of fine lines, wrinkles, blackheads, scarring, and stretch marks
Boosts circulation
Benefits with lymphatic drainage
Cuts puffiness
Tones and tightens the muscles of the face (think lifted jowls and eyebrows)
Shapes and contours the face by improving muscle tone (think contoured jawline)
Keeps skin looking youthful
WHAT DO THE SPIKES DO?
The spikes on the rollers work similar to a derma roller/micro-needling, but without needles or puncturing the skin.
The spikes, when gently rolled over the skin, stimulates fibroblasts and increases collagen production, which helps to heal and rejuvenate the skin. Don’t worry — the spikes do not hurt!
WHAT IS MICRO-CURRENT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Micro-current is like a little workout for your face. Like all the muscles in your body, your facial muscles need a good workout to keep them from sagging and losing definition.
Micro-current devices, such as the Beauty Wand, delivers a low-level electrical stimulation to the top layer of skin and the muscle beneath the skin that helps to tone and tighten the facial muscles.
When used properly, micro-current devices stimulate the facial muscles, giving your face a lifted and toned appearance. Micro-current technology has been used for the past 70 years in the medical field.
WHY THIS DEVICE IS UNIQUE:
The Beauty Wand is innovative because of its unique design with four rollers that are perfectly spaced to fit the curvatures of the face.
The spacing and the angle of each roller are precisely placed so that you can get to hard-to-reach places like between the eyebrows (for eyebrow furrows), around the eyes (for crow’s feet), and around the mouth (for smile lines).

FAQs:
How do I turn the Beauty Wand on?
There is no ON/OFF button on the Beauty Wand, and there is no light or indication that the wand is on.
All you have to do is to expose the solar panel to indoor light or sunlight, and the wand is ready to use. You can use the wand in the dark but the micro-current feature will not work unless there is light in the room.
How do I charge the Beauty Wand?
The Beauty Wand is solar-powered. The solar panel on the handle absorbs light and generates electricity.
This panel acts as a built-in battery that gets recharged by either indoor OR outdoor light.
You can expose the solar panel under the light for 5 minutes before using and it will be fully charged for a couple of hours.
How does the Beauty Wand feel on the skin?
You will not feel any tingling, cutting, burning, electric shocks, zaps, or pain you will only feel the rollers and the spikes on the skin.
The wand produces a micro-current that interacts with the muscle beneath the skin, but you won’t feel it.
When you begin to roll the wand around your face, you may feel slight friction and warmth due to increased blood circulation and oxygen.
Do I need to use special products or gels with the Beauty Wand?
You can use the Beauty Wand on dry skin to get the massaging benefits, but Julie highly recommends using it with products.
You don’t need special conducting gels or products to use with the wand, but in order for the micro-current to flow, you will need moisture (try using a non-oily moisturizer, Aloe Vera gel, or Hyaluronic serum) to act as a conductor between the four rollers and your skin.
The moisture will help to transmit the bio-electricity from the wand to stimulate the muscle fibers beneath the skin.
When will I start to see results?
You will start seeing results within 2 weeks using the wand. Julie highly encourages using the wand as part of your skincare routine every day or three times a week.
Your skin will first start to look fresh and glowing. Over time, you will start to look firmer, toned, and contoured too.
How many times should I roll the Beauty Wand?
I recommends at least 15 passes for each part. You can use the wand on the face, neck, and other areas of the body.
How do I clean the Beauty Wand?
The Beauty Wand is very easy to clean because the rollers are made out of iron, brass, refined copper and 14-carat plated gold.
Simply use the mini brush to clean the roller and disinfectant wipes after each use. Other than cleaning the wand, there is no other special maintenance.
When do I need to replace the wand?
With proper care, the Beauty Wand will work for years. The only time you will have to replace your Beauty Wand is if the solar panel breaks.
Can I use the Beauty Wand everywhere? Are there any areas to avoid?
You can use the Beauty Wand everywhere except on the eyelids and on the eyeballs.
You should also avoid the thyroid area, which is in the middle of the chest plate. Not suitable for rosacea or highly sensitive skin, active acne, or open wounds.
conclusion :
I highly recommend you use the wand 2.0 in the evening before bed. You wake up looking rested and glowing as if your skin went through a detox and repaired itself.

Note
You said you love skincare over makeup: me too! What's your favorite brands? :)
I have extremely sensitive skin that is prone to cystic acne due to my hormones being out of whack due to endometriosis, so I have to be very careful about the brands I use for either skincare OR makeup, and it took me a long time to realise that, and lean more into cultural beauty routines that take skincare over makeup (For example, Korean beauty or more traditionalist Swedish beauty, a la Ingrid Bergman, who famously never wore a stitch of makeup if she could help it and her skin was just that lovely that she didn’t have to). I’m also very aware of overt fragrances, stripping agents like alcohol (Baby Lauren was not; and thought drying out your skin equaled less acne; yikes), and any harsh additives.
Sunscreen:
I’ve always taken sun care extremely seriously, as both my mother and my grandmother have had skin cancer before, so I’m most likely predisposed to having it. This has led to some unintentionally hilarious results of being the palest person in the world who plays beach volleyball both professionally (back in the day) and competitively (now, or before the COVID hit). I always wear long sleeves on the beach unless I have time to completely apply sunscreen, and am a snob when it comes to sunscreens as well. They can’t cause a breakout, leak into my eyes due to sweat, any of that good stuff.
My sunscreen recommendations:
(Note: And I literally get them from all over the world, so get ready, because I probably cover something available in your town/country. I’ve lived in Australasia, North America, and Europe, so I’ve pretty much covered a large part of the world in my travels xD)
Face:
Mychelle Pharmaceuticals SPF 28 in Coconut (Unfortunately only an American brand, but I literally get it shipped to a P.O. box near Canada so I can go across the line to get it. It’s that good. XD Doesn’t melt, dries quickly, unsure how it would look on darker skin than ghost white, but still doesn’t give me any sort of cast).
Innisfree Daily UV Protection Cream No Sebum: Literally a steal at twelve bucks, but DOES cause the dreaded white cast. Anti-acne and also settles down really well on the skin. I’m luckily pale enough that if I layer makeup over it, it usually doesn’t look as bad, but I’ve heard a lot of POC say they love the texture, but it gives them that ashy-white look (See below for some skincare brands I’ve heard are better for this for POC).
Body:
Bioderma Photoderm SPF 50+ UVA and UVB Lait protection élevée: This is a really popular French sunscreen that doesn’t move and stays firm after you apply it and it dries down. It’s a high SPF quality, and I can find it in Canada, but I also obviously saw it in France when I was there as well. France is another country that really seems to follow the ‘If you have great skin you don’t really need makeup do you” train.
MooGoo Skincare (Generally and their sunscreen): This was my go to in Australia: I’d have to reapply it often because otherwise you would get burned, but Australia also has a gigantic hole in the ozone layer so it isn’t exactly helping itself. xD But it’s a local Aussie brand, it’s natural, and it’s great and relatively cheap (although you can order it worldwide I believe and they have a US based website if you’re in the states). I also love their leave in hair conditioner, as well as their self-tanner. They also send you great testers with it, and have great mineral-based makeup if you’re keen.
Coola SPF 30 Sunscreen Spray Pina Colada: This is my go to spray on for playing sports last summer. It’s natural, smells good, is expensive, but it lasted me an entire summer playing beach volleyball most days at the beach, and I still have some left over.
Some of my top other skincare recommendations I’d recommend otherwise would be:
My Current Routine:
- Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel (everyday)
- Dermalogica Overnight Clearing Gel (everyday)
- Dermalogica Microdermabrasion (everyday)
- Mychelle Cosmetics: SPF 28 Coconut (everyday)
- Clinique Oil Control Gel with Uneven Skin Tone Pump (everyday)
- Lush Eye Cream (optional)
- Benton Aloe Vera Gel (optional if my skin is feeling dry)
- Bioderma Photoderm 50+ for my body sunscreen  (everyday)
(Note: I also use a micellar water to clear eye makeup if I use it, and occasionally the Thayers toner if I have it on hand, but it’s not essential to my routine, and I don’t use eye makeup that often).
Dermalogica:  Expensive as all hell, but it’s literally the only thing that I can get a ‘wash and go’ effect from. Their Special Cleansing Gel is the only face wash I’ve been able to use for more than three to four months without having to switch it up from my skin throwing it’s own mini revolution. xD The one thing I could say is that their Cleansing Gel LITERALLY lasts forever. I have a gigantic pump which is 88 dollars (YIKES), but it’s lasted me literally seven months without having to change products and buying usually amount in cheaper skincare, going to the dermatologist, or having to get further medication from my doctor for my skin (I take an antibiotic to keep my skin at bay as well). It’s literally worth the money of me searching and floundering about buying cheaper options that make my skin break out that progressively add up to the full amount of the Dermalogica/ avoiding dermatologist appointments, so that’s how I justify it. So while it makes me cringe every time I buy it, it really is worth it if you’re washing it two times a day (There’s also a 250ml size for 55 bucks Canadian on Sephora if you want to give it a go for less commitment, and that usually lasts for a good two months on its own).
I also use their Overnight Clearing Gel for my acne (also expensive), and I can do without, but do like, their microdermabrasion scrub, which also lasts forever. I also forgot to mention that this is the stuff coming straight from The International Dermal Institute, so they know what they’re doing.
Others I enjoy:
Klairs: My (relatively) cheap routine if I’m running low on funds for the month. They have a great body-based soap bar if you have body acne (Which I usually don’t, but if I’m doing a lot of beach volleyball in the summer, gremlins in the sand fuck with my skin, I swear to god).
Innisfree: Great based routines, and if you’re able to actually go to a store to get skin-matched, they have some amazing stores in Australasia. I use their sheet masks often.
Benton: Their aloe vera-based products are amazing for skincare; I use them usually in lieu of a body lotion.
Thayers: Their unscented toner is the only toner I trust, and it’s usually on sale at a drugstore.
Mychelle Cosmetics: As mentioned above, it’s responsible for my daily sunscreen; unfortunately, you can only get it in the States (Which is why I literally have a P.O. box across the border in America where I go to pick it up from because I live about fifteen minutes from the US-Canada border. Seriously, it’s that good).
 MooGoo: As mentioned above.
Clinique: An oldie, but a goodie. Their skincare routine doesn’t have the same effect on my face like Dermalogica, but if I’m in a financial pinch and need something to hold me over at the mid-point price level, I still turn to Clinique. I still use their gel as my moisturiser, and they now have this new ‘mix and match’ program with Emilia Clarke as their promo-woman. I’ve heard the shade range for the BB cream-based moisturiser is terrible, even for white ladies, but I just got their Oil-Control gel with an ‘uneven skin tone’ top mixed in to address acne-scarring, and I’ve already seen some good results.
 Biotherma: See above.
La-Roche Posay: The routine my dermatologist recommended as a top professor of skincare at a leading hospital related to a university in Australia. It’s very gentle, and their Effaclar another mid-level price routine.
St Ives: If I’m really poor, I go for St. Ives. I don’t use their scrubs, because they use walnut shells on their that can literally rip up your face, but I do like their body wash, body lotion, and they recently released a cleanser with camomile which is calming for the face. It’s not as good as the Dermalogica stuff, but for cheap and for no harsh alcohols or chemicals, plus making a move towards being cruelty-free, I think St. Ives is trying to revamp their brand a bit after that bad press they had concerning #walnutgate. xD
Lush: Another cheaper option (although not really, because Lush usually gauges you for more than you’d pay for a proper Clinique cleanser for a bar of soap/ once you’ve got your full routine together). That being said, I do like their eye cream. I’m in my mid-twenties now, so I’m starting to try to do more preventative skincare.
Mario Badescu: I still use their acne spot treatment if I have a really terrible zit, and it’s gone the next morning.
Other brands I’ve heard good things about:
First Aid Beauty (I want to try their tinted sunscreen for summer)
Supergoop (Apparently their mineral sunscreen is really great for POC, as it doesn’t give the dreaded WHITE CAST)
Shiseido (A classic Japanese brand)
Keihls (Another one I’ve heard great things about but is more expensive)
Ren Clean Skincare (Another skincare brand I want to try).
So hopefully this gives you some ideas to try, nonny, and hopefully this helps someone. xD -shrug-

Review of it’s Skin’s Aloe Relaxing Mask Sheet
it’s Skin is a brand that uses a clinical method for skincare, their taglines are anti-stress, moisturizing, whitening/UV protection, anti-wrinkle, and nourishment. Tumblr media
This mask contains 17 grams (0.59 oz) and has a light aloe scent.
Tumblr media
The sheet mask is a nude seal sheet which is a soft, silky transparent sheet mask that lightly and firmly adheres to the skin's curves, effectively delivering the active ingredients to the skin. The mask is also very thin and I need to widen the eyes and mouth holes to make it more comfortable.
Recommended use is after washing the face, apply toner to prepare for the next step of skincare. Open the pouch, take out the mask, and evenly place it on the face. Remove the sheet mask after 15-20 minutes and gently pat for better absorption. After using, this mask is the perfect mask for soothing the skin and for use during summer as well. The sheet mask itself is very thin, comfortable, and actually holds a lot of essence. The mask adheres well to the skin and stays saturated with essence for a long time. There's a light scent of aloe which should be okay for sensitive skin unless you're very sensitive to any fragrance at all. After removing, I found that it did a great job of soothing and deeply hydrating the skin and smoothing out the skin texture. The effects are also long-lasting and it's great for your skin if you've been out too long in the sun. The mask is very nice quality and again very good for sensitive skin. I'd recommend this to anyone with dry, dehydrated, and/or sensitive skin.
What I like: this mask is really soft and comfortable and is very soothing. It's hydrating and sensitive skin-friendly as well as lovely quality. The ingredients are good and the effects are long-lasting. This is a great mask to use during the summer if your skin is very irritated. What I don't like: nothing really.
Pros:
Hydrating
Soothing
Sensitive skin-friendly
Comfortably soft mask
Nice quality
Nice ingredients
Long-lasting effects
Nourishing
Cons:
None
Would I buy again?
Yes
Rating: 10/10
