I find it so funny, in light of TikTok’s imminent American demise, that even now they aren’t considering moving to tumblr. The last two social media refugee crises (Twitter -> X and whatever happened with Reddit) prompted a wave of wide-eyed new baffled tumblr users to flood this app and yet last I heard all of the tiktokers are flooding en-masse a Chinese social media app. That is entirely in Mandarin. Oh & I also have this headcanon that when Alex is back & back together/they’re working on their relationship she sends Casey flowers which she used to do when they first started dating thinking it would be cute & make her happy but got really worried and confused why Casey got upset/a bit freaked out & had to be told about when Casey was attacked & how the ruse was flower delivery & Alex feels terrible for 1 sending the flowers/triggering her & 2 not knowing/not being there when it happened for Casey

(I also kind of think my they were married but separated angle could be used to explain that losing Casey is what made Alex throw herself into her work so much & maybe even so focused on Zapata because she was distracting herself from missing Casey or thought she didn’t have anything else to lose obviously not know if what would happen to her)

You know continuing my delusions, can you imagine if Alex and Casey were together all along? So when Alex “died,” Casey started visiting Alex’s mom because, despite being an old money, Upper East Side, house-in-the-Hampton kind of woman, she absolutely adores Casey. She never thought Alex would find someone who would love her as much as Casey does. And Casey loves her because she doesn’t talk to her own mom anymore and Alex’s mom actually enjoys her company.

So what if, when Alex “dies,” Casey starts visiting her? At first shy about it but then going there twice, maybe three times a week. Alex’s mom is happy to have that piece of her daughter still in her life, so she loves doting on Casey and treating her like her own.

Until Alex’s mom dies, and then Casey is left grieving yet another person, yet another part of Alex. And Alex is absolutely wrecked, unable to go to her mom’s funeral, forever regretting that she wasn’t there for her mom. It’s only when she comes back that she finds out Casey was visiting her, and it gave her at least some comfort in knowing her mom wasn’t alone in her grief. It leads to a very tearful, emotional Alex clinging to Casey and thanking her over and over again for it. From then on, they go to her grave together and put flowers up every weekend.

I feel like Lucy Gray’s fashion sense had an influence on the Capitol. in case you are in the mood to feel devastated here’s an alternate way of viewing charles’ response to edwin’s confession:

we know that charles kinda puts edwin on a pedestal- yes they are partners but there is a bit of a hierarchy between them. charles just looks up to and admires edwin in so many ways while constantly looking down on and being really hard on himself. he puts on his big happy persona because he thinks that people wouldn’t like him if they actually got to know him.

so when edwin confesses, it’s like a blow to him. he took his charming persona too far and went and tricked the most important person in the world into thinking he was worthy of love. and it’s worse because he does love edwin in that way, which is exactly why he can’t let him know that. charles still believes that he is like his dad, and he saw exactly what his parents’ relationship did to his mother.

what I learned from season 2 of IWTV is that a distressingly large amount of people cannot tell the difference between a consensual BDSM dynamic and assault/abuse, nor do they know anything about how kink actually works

Despite the tension of the two of them getting reacquainted after the 6 years of separation and Bellamy locking her in that room.

Not to mention his devastation when Clarke “died” and Josephine took over her body and the fact that the only people on the walls in her mind were her loved ones like Lexa, her last love and BELLAMY. And the way he fought to bring her back declaring “I’M not losing her again.” and giving her CPR and the relief and the way they clung to each other when she came back… brb gonna go cry over them again
