i know everyone is praising ify for how he’s playing this season and i do think he is slaying but some of his moves kinda bother me😭😭😭i didn’t like how he took all the drug juice i feel like brennan obviously had a plan for how that was gonna work with persimmon dead AND everyone would’ve got a cool moment with the drugs but he kinda just took it :/ obviously it worked out and it did lead to that convo w liv and russell but idk i felt like jacob in that moment and i’m not even playing LMAO like i would rather have just seen what brennan was gonna do and got to see how everyone was gonna take it

Maybe controversial, but on posts about being dumb where girls are like saying ‘but I’m actually smart.’ Like tbh, I don’t really believe them. Like if you’re smart why does feeling dumb feel so good or hot or whatever to you then? I kinda feel like it’s having an excuse to let go of trying as much as you would be when you’re saying your smart. If you’re like really actually smart, I don’t feel like a break from ‘being smart’ would be such a relief or like as appealing.

I feel like, as a late member of the QSMP fandom, I’m still stuck on the Rusis Potion arc. Like. You’re telling me this Minecraft SMP server casually had a whole arc about drug abuse and addiction and the way they were saved was by one of the people who were addicted (Pac) push through it enough and have just enough hope to find the antidote and everyone stood by them and assured them they wouldn’t be alone??? THAT IS SO GODDAMN BEAUTIFUL WTF. I CAN’T GET OVER IT.

You telling me humans back home were suffering poverty, war, famine, killing and accusing each other of witchcraft, committing genocide against natives, but the witches had a whole utopia? Has someone already written about how Breq and Mercy of Kalr are both disabled, in different directions? Mercy of Kalr without ancillaries now lacks the tools to interact with its world. It’s powerful but unable to effect change on its environment directly. It’s effectively a brain in a jar, paralyzed and almost completely reliant on its relationship with its soldiers to perform its function. And Breq/Justice of Toren One Esk who once had the parallel processing power capable of independently operating literally thousands hands now finds herself operating on one squishy fallible human brain. How could I have missed that? She asks herself about five times in the final act of Ancillary Justice. Talk about a traumatic brain injury. And they can’t fix or complete each other the way Mercy of Kalr brings up in their first meeting, no matter how much the Mercy longs for it. But they can be allies. I like that.

I can’t imagine how Curtain must’ve felt when he found out that Constance telepathically told Mr. Benedict the location of the prison in book 3. Like in the cave scene she realizes that he secretly switched the vials, and he’s like well I’ll be damned…the evil toddler can recognize patterns and deduce meanings from minute body language changes…this could be useful someday… Fast forward six months later and as he’s putting the pieces together Kate’s cheerfully like “Read your mind? Yes she did :) Given the answer to Mr. Benedict? If you say so 🥰” like you anticipated treachery you anticipated double-crossing you anticipated EVERYTHING under the sun BUT did you anticipate Oh Whoops The Toddler Is Psychic Now? No? Psh. Amateur. I will say this only once. Genuinely props to him for not combusting on the spot.
