Jojo is really fun because it’s a story about a generational curse from grandfather to grandson to grandson to daughter except not really because grandson(1) had a different tangentially related curse to deal with so the generational curse follows grandfather to great great grandson to daughter except that’s not the full picture so the curse actually follows grandfather to grandson(1) to grandson(2) to bastard uncle to great uncle-slash-first cousin twice removed to great great grandniece-slash-first cousin four times removed. But like previously said they don’t really count because grandson (1), bastard uncle, and great uncle slash first cousin twice removed curses are all butterfly effect problems from the original curse except maybe not grandson (1) since he helps grandson (2) with his generational curse quest. However, great uncle slash first cousin twice removed is a bit of an oddity since instead of necessarily dealing with the family curse he is the product of the family curse. This is also not accounting for when the universe gets reset.

Why is it that whenever there’s a wlw ship, it’s always the same two people in slightly different fonts?

I started watching My Adventures with Superman and I got my little siblings into it. We’ve made a whole routine of getting together and watching the newest episode together (I’m out of the house and in college while everyone else is between middle/high school) but anyways! After the latest episode we were all talking about what we know about the dc universe and stuff (they have no idea how deep I am) and I started talking about the batfam.

They asked and this led to me being able to give the entire story of the Robins.

I got to sit there and give the entire chronological history of each robin and how they came into Batman’s life and whatnot for an entire HOUR! It was amazing! But not even CLOSE to as amazing as watching my little sister react to all the plot twists!

The loudest gasp and most bamboozled look that crossed her face when I told her that the crime lord Red Hood was Jason Todd! (Keep in mind she’s literally 14,) she was so invested! And it was the best time of my life!

She asked me to ‘hold on’ 7 times, ‘go back’ 3 times, and gasped a total of 4 times in this entire retelling. Given, we were all told to ‘lock in’ 3 times so it was quite the ride.

I don’t know what I would give to be able to experience the drama of the batfamily for the first time again…but it was something else to be able to watch firsthand what it was like.

This fandom is so nit-picky that I’ve seen more criticism on every little thing about wottg (a book that came out 2 days ago) than people saying things they liked about it
