LET THE GIRLS BE IMPERFECT. let Annabeth be mean and snippy to Percy when she's stressed and can't regulate her tone. let Hazel get sick of Leo and Frank's bickering and tell them to get the fuck away from her before she makes them. let Piper demand too much of Jason because she's a nepo baby and forgets that she's not the centre of everybody's world. let them be messy and rude and impatient and hurtful like the boys get to be. let them have emotional arcs that are not simply about learning to treat their boyfriends better. let them have problems that aren't just extensions of the boys' problems. it is not a crime to make teenage girls do things wrong.

So you know how Percy describes the feeling when Annabeth touched his Achilles spot, something about feeling electricity down his spine or something like that (I haven’t read the books in a while so forgive me if I’m wrong), I imagine it feels like when someone’s hand ghosts the small of your back when you’re ticklish and it makes you shiver.

What if Percy was a tailor or seamster and makes clothes for Annabeth because nothing ever fits her because she’s super tall.

Bonus points if this career came from him learning to sew to fix his and his mom’s clothes because they couldn’t afford new ones.

Extra bonus points if they met because she came in to his shop to get something altered or made for her and suddenly he’s fumbling through asking her out on a date
