sorry for becoming smartphone central but why have companies balkanized their phone numbering convention so bad? Back In My Day samsung had A/S and motorola had E/G but now they broke up each of these into like four sub tiers each. hate to hand it to apple but at least they have a clear system

i've been searching for reasonably repairable phones all day and literally none of them are sold in brazil. isn't it awesome.

#my friend got an advance copy of the switch 2 wheelchair basketball game to review for the magazine he volunteers at#and on the guidelines he received from nintendo there's one specific thing that can't be mentioned#idgaf about this game on multiple fronts (ugly as hell! no local multiplayer! i don't even have a switch 2 or play sports games!)#but i NEED to see it. i NEED to know#also the process is kinda weird you gotta give them your switch's serial number instead of just getting a key#what difference does it even make?#anyway my preliminary opinion of this game is that it might well be fun and interesting but it reeks of tech demo#destined to become a smash assist no one cares for or remembers the name of the game it's from#drag x drive. name that slides off the brain like water off a duck#also mark my words: mouse mode is doomed and 10 years from now everyone will be talking about it as a missed opportunity#like the new 3ds nipple or the entirety of the wii u#but unlike those it just seems nightmarish to use...#yeah man let me sit at my couch and use a mouse to play a game on my tv. that sounds ergonomically pleasant

hi everyone :] sorry to be asking this of you

as of the past year or so i've been gradually getting weaker and it's gotten harder to have enough energy to even do a single task. i've been dealing with some variation of this for a few years now and after going to the neurologist, what he recommended started to not work as much as it did after a month or two, which lead me to believe it was something besides the discovered brain issues.
i'm finally trying to figure out what it is because being too tired to do anything is so frustrating and it's been a nightmare. however, i'm unemployed, it took us so long to even consider going to the doctor instead of bearing it because my parents and i don't really have the money to do whatever testing is required. but i'm miserable enough from living like this to consider it urgent.
we got the estimate bill of all the tests the doctor referred me to and it's a bit expensive. i'd appreciate any amount you could throw my way, anything helps. if you're inclined, you could commission me instead of just donating to get a little drawing out of it even :] thank you so much either way

#and then just the spare part costs as much as a new xiaomi (only smartphone brand i vaguely trust. they still have headphone jacks)#not big enough a problem to buy a new phone over but it will annoy the shit out of me until i do#ughhhhhh i like the flip a lot. the small size is actually useful as shit. i carry it folded as much as i do it open#plus despite having two cameras they don't look stupid and are actually flush to the phone#instead of bulging outwards like some sort of growth#they aren't as good as industry standard nowadays but consider: i don't give a fuck
