Absolutely priceless to me that Jude only realised she's in Cardan's room in Hallow Hall because she saw his closet.

Like the school books did not raise any flags at all. Why wouldn't faeries that went to that place for nothing more than partying and getting high, have their homework spread out on the table?

But the second she laid eyes in that wardrobe she really went "No bitch dresses THAT extra even in Elfhame besides THAT ONE!"

to me, Cardan sent Jude the coronation dress in response to him seeing Jude wearing Locke’s mothers dress.

dude said, “why have those rotten, old dresses w him, when you could have a gemstone covered dress that is personal to you and also made by the royal tailor, with ME.”

Cardan is such a thoughtful sweetheart to outdo the guy that is chronically stealing his women! <3
