Stanley looks dead faced because of his ingrained poker face, but he's thouroughly enjoying it, even if sometimes he has no idea what the fuck Ford is saying. He never interrupts him though, since he knows people usually ignore or interrupt him mid-talk already. So sometimes Stan gets stuck in awkward situations where he has to leave or do stuff, but also doesn't have it in his heart to stop Ford and extract himself out of a (one-sided) conversation.

Here’s a trick to other disability activists: learn about animal welfare by volunteering on farms and educating yourself on breeders and the industry rather than getting involved in PETA! And another critical trick: NEVER compare animals to people! That’s exactly what the freaks that think any living thing with a deformity that should die are doing. These people would clutch their pearls the moment they hear farms cull undesirable animals bc they can’t afford to keep every single one and have to streamline their breeding and raising to what will help keep the farm running. That doesn’t mean these farmers want to do the same to people, because the animal is NOT a person and doesn’t live like one. Our lives are not even remotely comparable! People like OP are the people that keep a wild bird with an amputated wing alive bc in their mind it would be insinuating all amputees should die if the bird is put down, and next thing the bird is on the Dodo as inspiration porn. You know. Sorry for another sporadic unprompted post about that friend who has caused me so much trauma in the past year. But I remember this one time his old high school friend I met once, he's really nice I liked him a lot. Cool guy. But he lives far away so they don't meet up a lot but they text. One time he sent this friend some pictures of us that were taken at a cooking class that he'd been bothering me into going to despite that it was all the way in Boston, there was a lot of walking to get to it, etc. And I was like constantly feeling sick and run down and exhausted from having Covid recently. He texted his friends those pictures of the two of us and his friend asked "Are you and Diana dating lol" like pretty innocently but honestly curious.

And he just replied "Are you fucking high" and he showed me and told me about it. Like. Like it was uncomfortable for HIM to be asked that.

I feel like before marriage, Frank would have appreciated a woman like that. But now, since he's not looking, he'd turn her down. He'll only take a chance on someone he's gotten to know and fallen for.

this could honestly go either way. because when we see him in daredevil, and even in season 1 of the punisher, he’s not interested in moving on, even though there’s something clearly there between him and karen.

but then in season 2 of the punisher, when he meets beth, they have a one night stand that potentially could’ve led to another date if chaos didn’t follow poor frankie around (he literally turned his car around to go back and see beth again after telling her he was leaving town).

so ultimately, I think it depends. I personally him as an old fashioned hopeless romantic that takes every opportunity he can to be a gentleman, so he wouldn’t be the one to be super forward until he felt comfortable. but if he meets someone that’s forward with him like beth was and there’s a good connection, I don’t see him turning her down.
