Came across free donuts in the break room at work. Stopped and stared at them for a moment. I even went in for a closer look to inspect the flavor options. Several looked delicious.
Then I stopped and really thought about it for a moment. It’s a sit on my butt at a desk work day. Do I really need that minute of tasty reward in exchange for a few hours of nutrition-less junk weighing down my gut?
Nope…moving along. Stack up another small win!

Introducing my new weight loss program, it’s called “drink stagnant water and involuntarily void your guts on an hourly basis for the next week until you lose 20 lbs from dehydration”

avocado, carrots, spinach, broccoli, ginger
Helps balance oil production in skin:

Climbing back aboard the better eating bus. A week in and I already feel more energized and alert throughout the day.
So easy to slip into unhealthy eating patterns of junk/processed foods and eating out. They provide us short term comfort. Those effects are short lived and soon you find yourself wanting more and getting caught in the cycle of eating foods that do not provide the proper healthy nutrients to power your body and mind all day long. It’s a tough cycle to break and easy to slip back into.
Try breaking out of it for a couple weeks. At first you’ll feel like garbage as your body craves the short burst energy it’s become accustomed to. But then you’ll start to notice how much better you feel without all that junk weighing you down.

✍️ Comment 'CHOCOLATE' to get a link to all the ingredients I use.
I'm excited to share with you how I make my own healthy, homemade chocolate—using only the best ingredients... because we deserve delicious treats that are good for us too!
Chocolate is my #1 thing, and there are so many nutrients in the real thing, and I actually learned this simple method of making your own superfood in a workshop I took years ago in Israel (of course), so today I am super excited to teach you, because it's so simple, healthy, and delicious!
Ingredients:
1 cup cocoa butter
1 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Healthy sweeteners to taste (honey, date syrup, maple syrup)
Optional: tahini for richness, nuts for crunch, salt for sprinkling
Instructions:
Boil water and set up your double boiler (a.k.a bain-marie).
Add cocoa butter to the top of the double boiler, stirring until it metls melt completely.
Remove from heat and whisk in cocoa powder until smooth.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Gradually add your choice of sweeteners. I love a mix of honey, maple syrup, and date syrup for balanced sweetness.
I add bit of tahini to enhance the richness.
If you like, toss in some nuts for extra texture or leave it smooth.
Pour the mixture into silicone molds (fill to the top), or spread flat on a baking sheet.
Optionally, sprinkle a little salt on top for that perfect sweet-salty combo.
Chill in the fridge until set (takes less than 1 hour).
This chocolate melts quickly at room temperature, so keep it cool!
Ready to try making it yourself? 🍫 Comment 'CHOCOLATE' to get all the ingredients I use 🍫
Save this video and share with other chocolate lovers!
