Just had my diploma delivered today. Would normally resist posting it but since it's in Latin, I thought I had to share it!

yes, my old university has all the diplomas issued in Latin. Idk why, but I personally think it's kind of cool

i feel crazy !! why doesn't anyone care about covid anymore! i know its convenient to believe its mostly over but its still killing people, its still mass disabling people, and nobody fucking cares!!!! i feel goddamn insane why doesnt anyone care about disabled people!!

if you won't do the bare minimum now, how am i supposed to expect that that lack of care wont extend to when im even more disabled and have higher support needs.

if you can't bother to put on a mask in the grocery store how can i expect you to help me survive when my disability worsens and i cant walk 20 feet without needing to stop and breathe because my lungs are worse.

if you can't wear a mask to a concert how are you going to react when your loved one gets long covid and has brain fog and needs your help to remember things, will you be kind to them then?

what about when YOU (even if you're the healthiest person in the whole wide world) get long covid and lose your sense of smell or taste long term, or you develop a new condition as a result of your infection and suddenly you have chronic pain or any number of things that affect the heart, lung, kidney, skin, or brain, will your friends who stopped masking when it wasn't 'cool' or 'normal' anymore accommodate your new disabilities? or will they abandon your wellbeing too when it stops being convenient.
