It's almost christmas already help

So hey, I got accepted into 2 of my hardest post grad options (bioinfo and comp sci) and when I tell you I wasn't expecting the comp sci one AT ALL. I mean I had no fucking chance, I swear

I had to get a 9/10 grade in curriculum AND undergrad history bc I did not take an exam that was worth a few extra points and MAN. HOW-

Nonetheless, I'm now dead on the ground crying but out of happiness so all is good.

I am making the decision to combine my weekend posts and post them the next morning unless I make significant progress... Anyway- this has been a very disappointing weekend

i passed everything and now i am officially done with my undergrad journey!!!! soon, i shall receive my diploma in the mail for my bachelor's of science in anthropology!!!

I JUST TURNED IN MY MOLEC GENETICS PAPER

its 13 pages with 2 original figures that I had to create on powerpoint and its my third paper on a wetland plant (and second on Spartina) this year that over the 10 page mark!!!!!!!!! Ive been cooking for 3 weeks on it because it is one of the densest pieces I've ever written

10:20am-12:00pm - civil procedure. (i sat in on a 1L class today!! they had donuts and hot chocolate, it was soo cutie. the prof said this was everyones least fav class but i honestly loved it)

1:00pm-2:00pm - public speaking

studying hours:

two hours: criminal procedure. ( federal rules of evidence and 12b motions !!! )

one hour: criminal stats ( fuk this class )

two hours: biological anthropology ( to all of u w an anthropology degree ur so much better than me this shit is so confusing )

I love the cultural miku trend for all the normal reasons but also because it's incredibly funny seeing when people feel the need to get specific. I see an Indian miku and then three posts later is a Tamil miku. like yes PLEASE say more about resisting cultural hegemony and the forces at play that make it important and necessary

Happy belated Rakshabandhan to the ones who celebrate! (For the ones who don't know what it is, its a festival when sisters tie an ornamental band on brothers wrists in exchange for protection. Now it's symbolic and we tie the bands in exchange for gifts lmfao). I got a watch as a gift from my cousin brother!!! At the perfect time too, cause I forgot both my watches at home while coming back to uni.

My thesis work is finally moving a bit and it's equally daunting as is exciting. I'm looking forward to the coming year haha.

+ Wrote my dad a letter finally!!

+> SHIT!! Missed an assignment for my Principles of Conditioning... so I'll go there tomorrow I guess? I swear he gave us until the end of the semester...

+> Get my reading bits done by Friday so I can get some free time before the formal

:0 I have the formal and I think its causing room mate drama... My room mate is sighing at me, I'm sorry I've started making friends 13 weeks into the semester

:0 But I got a potential room mate for next year and we're getting coffee Friday!!

I'm missing something else I'm sure... but its fine. This is not good, bad start. I need to remember that this isn't the end of the world but like... It kind of feels like it is though...

Today was. I don't know whether it was productive or unproductive. I started studying the amazing beginner's guide to git by @moose-mousse and now it's not longer intimidating! But then guests arrived and all my plans of studying psych notes and python went down the drain lolll. I need to complete them along with tomorrow's tasks ugh
