No it's not. The rules to being a man and passing as a men as strict as lots of rules for women. Have you ever seen a cis guys who fails to pass? They're called names, theyre physically beat, and theyre often ostracized from their cis peers just as fast as any trans person. Cis boys cant even pass half the time by the rules they made. Quit fucking lying about men just magically having it so easy.

Your experiences as passing as a man aren't universal and if you've never passed as one what makes you think it's fucking easy?

Also god forbid you're a black man, or a black man who is into something deemed feminine. Shit I've seen guys call black men women for wearing a damn hair bonnet.

Oh not to mention I'm only a man to transphobes when they can call me a "dangerous black man" only to switch back to tryibg to detransition me by saying "you can just be a masc girl!"

2.Adams apple

While you have to hide yours, I have to wear shit that distracts people that I *don't* have one. Cause, and I know this is wild, if they expect you not to have one for being a women, what do they expect me to have for being a man? Hmm? And if you're a man who's adams apple never came in? I've seen them called girls to. Shit I've heard a guy called not manly for missing his, and he was still in puberty!!

3.Shoulders

While you have to hide you shoulders, I have to do whatever I can to have the.. small shoulders on men? maybe if youre in a "non manly" field like music or art, but I do gym work. I better look likeit regardless of the disability that effacts my muscles growth and development or I am called maam by every guy there. Which sucks btw.

4. Makeup and voice acting:

Trans men also are regularly advised to wear makeup that masculinizes them and do voice training. thats some of our oldest passing tips. thats litterally never been unique to trans women. what the FUCK kinda of implications are you trying to put out here?

5. Murder:

Hey did you know cis guys will murder trans men bc they were attracted to them and then found out they werent "real men" and then kill them. shit cis women also kill us if they find out they were attracted to us and we aren't their ideal man anymore. do u know how men who hear im butch and into women behave?

Fuck right the fuck off trying to tokenize the murder lf trans women while throwing trans men murders in the "that doesn't happen" bin.

6. How many times have we said short hair and no boobs dont fucking automatically gets us gendered correcly!! We have voices that have to be trained, we have muscles were expected to build,and some men even watch the way you walk to guess if you have a dick or not.

Listen to any trans men. any of us for five minutes. those things do not making an easily passing trans man fuck you for lying about our experiences as not a trans man.

Untrue! just Untrue. we also have to preform the rules of manhood really well. ive seen beareded transmen clocked for like so many different other reasons and you wouldn't listen to those men if it would save all trans people lives forever. cis men constantly dig at other men presentation to keep each other in line. Its a regular for them.

Also: not all of want to pass with those features. I deserve to have long hair and not bind and still pass as a man and you suck for defining everything around passing.

8. I don't know why you insist on this idea that trans women never really pass without obscene work (when ive met trans women that admit they have it easy by throwing on a dress and wearing her hair down) and that all trans men who have ascess to transition magically do pass (When multiple of us transitioning have said we dont)

If we can't talk about the ones who don't pass then you kinda can just sweep away the idea we don't face discrimination or danger and that's getting us killed actually.

None of us have said we can all never really pass any who say they can't are usually speaking on their own experiences. Because you want us all to pass so bad you don't care that we don't, and that it gets us backlash and hurt.

I do think the fact she never even CONSIDERED reporting Stolas’ illegal grimore use is really stupid, it feels like Viv didn’t know what would cause the authorities to arrest Blitzø so she made some crap up 😭

Here’s a more fun idea: Stella saw Blitz fall out of a window that fateful day with the grimore, but always assumed Blitz stole it and Stolas got it back easily considering the whole hell hierarchy (IMPs are seen as useless and weak). During a recent visitation day with Octavia, she was plotting ways to get rid of Stolas, asked her, and Octavia spilled what’s ACTUALLY been going on, which she then passed onto Andrelphus. Not perfect but a bit better than what was shown here I’d say

…Also why does Andrelphus keep calling Stella hot?? That’s your sister bro?? Why not make him say “you’re lucky you’re powerful” or “you’re lucky you’ve got insight on Stolas’ current life” or even “you’re lucky you’re of use to me”?? But no, we got stuff that kinda sounds like incest 😭

Not bothering to add an image here but I love the interns, they’re probably there for a college requirement or something (assuming hell has an education system) and Blitz is just like “HELL YEAH FREE LABOR” (more proof that bro does not actually care about his workers, idc what the show wants you to believe lmao) (good to see they likely weren’t caught up in the arrest tho, probably let go after they explained their story thankfully)

Also Moxxie dear god I felt so bad for him, he was sobbing and looked genuinely distressed, especially after hearing “we are going to beat you”. He definitely has ptsd from his dad and he deserves so much better than Blitz as a boss /srs

I also felt pretty bad for Loona, she doesn’t even want to work at IMP and doesn’t give a crap about the Stolas drama yet is now being arrested over it. I’ll get into this more later but proof that hell doesn’t care about hellhounds and Imps!!

Back to Moxxie, Blitz stuffing paper in his mouth while he was clearly visibly distressed caused me to lose a piece of my soul (and we’re expected to laugh at it, as usual :/)

Haven’t mentioned Millie much here but that’s kinda because she knows what to do in this kind of situation? She’s a wrath imp, she’s not afraid to kill literally anybody to save her life. She knows how to hide evidence and fight as well. She is completely fine in this scenario and knows what to do (and is clearly shown to be staying mostly calm, unlike Moxxie or Loona).

SATAN!! THE DRAGON DESIGN FITS PERFECT FOR HIM!!! this is by far my 2nd favorite sin design (only behind Bee, unpopular opinion but I freaking love her design)!!! I also love how they gave him buff arms but skinny legs (as he’s likely punching, grabbing/choking, and stuff like that a lot, but is rarely kicking, jumping around (he can fly, no need), or even running that much)!

ALSO LEVIATHAN AND BELPHAGOR!!! Belphagor fits pretty dang well imo, though I with they’d made her a bit more “plush like” to represent a sort of laziness and preference of sleeping instead of waking. Not sure how to feel about Leviathan just yet, I like the 2 head approach but the left head is just a copy paste Glitz or Glam 😭

Satan calls Blitz an “Imp bastard” that they can just kill and not care about, and nearly everyone agrees. With Stolas later however, that is NOT the case. Ozzie looking up from his phone was freaking heartbreaking as well. He clearly cares about Fizz to a straight up unhealthy degree and would do anything for him (Codependency), but he knows he can’t do anything here. I think the same goes for Bee at this point, earlier she could’ve stood up and fought but now any bite-back would get her head cut off, especially considering how she is likely viewed for dating a hellhound and how Ozzie is viewed for dating an Imp.

i always joked with my mom about the fact that the right man for me is probably 5’8 and i’d never meet him because i wouldnt give him a chance (im 5’10). at the beginning of the year i decided to “like” a really attractive man from hinge even though he was shorter than me. I thought why the hell not. this year is for jumping out of my comfort zone anyways.

Months later we met up and he soon became my favourite human to spend time with. fun nights out, silly stupid conversations full of laughter. I was more myself around him than i had ever been with anyone. ever.

I thought nothing would come of this so i used the opportunity to act without care. There was no image i was trying to create, i showed up as myself everytime because he didn’t make me question it even for a second. If im being honest it was enough to ward off most men - I over shared and said everything on my mind, called him out of the blue (once with my family on my mothers birthday because i was drunk). I made him unlock his back door while he was on vacation and filled his house with miniature duck figurines one time as well lol. He taught me how to have fun again.

Everyone around me saw it before i did. The way i spoke about him gave away the feelings i had before i even knew about them. One day we were walking down the street and he held my hand and it all changed for me. That same week he showed up during our conversations in a way that made me rethink everything.

He SEES me. I have always had people enjoy the idea of me, but not who i was down to my core. This man genuinely enjoys ME. People talk about how amazing it is to date your best friend. I thought i had in the past. Never. ever. have i experienced something as incredible as this.

I am dating my best friend. He’s intelligent, SO GOD DAMN FUNNY, understanding. We are both messy and caring and like Dairy Queen onion rings.

i just feel so lucky to have this man in my life. He’s changed so much for me

but possibly not the way we thought it was. this is going to sound so convoluted but bear with me here (and big thanks to the anon that precipitated this theory, and major apologies that writing this theory is only going to delay my answer to your ask even further💕)

a major plot-point for me in s2 was this bad boy:

which i think we can safely say is a very op power for demons to possess for it not to come up again later on in the show? it's almost like a parallel to the book of life on that front - which is mentioned in the bookshop in ep6, but we've all agreed is pretty much going to be a major chekhov's gun in s3, right? well, what about the miracle blocker?

why wouldn't shax think of getting one either from furfur or from beelzebub when storming the bookshop? well, could be that shax didn't think of it. true - but i do wonder if something iffy was in fact going on in ep5/ep6 showdown, right up into the Final Fifteen.

let's start here: aziraphale has got some reality-bending bullshit going on, which i think is possibly just naturally emanating from aziraphale himself (im not wholly convinced it's entirely in-character for him to purposefully fuck with people's heads and autonomy) and perhaps the dancing/outfits/emotions etc is just the image he wanted for the dance, and his magic (?) essentially made it happen, so much so that he was potentially taken in by it too... hence why he was so readily resistant to crowley's pleas to listen to him about the danger? idk, getting sidetracked.

but anyway, then the demons come, and we see the below where... randomly, aziraphale's miracles/magic doesn't work. and there's no given reason for it:

soon after this, aziraphale opens the portal; one thing on reflection? that portal opens damn fucking fast. sure, the peril is high, certainly higher than s1 when he had to pray and practically beg to speak to someone... but if the portal is more or less for metatron's direct use, and the metatron is so damn busy, being the voice of god... why would he be sat there waiting for a call?

s1, the time between aziraphale starting to pray/dial 9-1-heaven, and the portal opening (excluding where he shouts to shadwell that the shop is closed) is just over 31 seconds. s2, from "hello, is there anybody there" to portal opening is just over 5. a very short cut-down for a retired, traitorous angel, regardless of whether they're under attack (which, tbh, would be in heaven's interests, right? for aziraphale to get Got?). the explanation for that can only be, in my book, that metatron has been watching... and possibly has been since the first time the portal opened.

anyway, we then move on to metatron arriving at the bookshop, and offering aziraphale the coffee. others have reported a miracle chime, and tbh i too can hear at least a faint, high strong, that sounds out of place in the ambient sound of the scene. video below, where ive marked out where i can hear it:

we know that aziraphale doesn't drink coffee. tea, hot chocolate, wine... but he's never, as far as we've seen, canonically drunk coffee. he must have tried it at some point, crowley likes it/drinks it, so why wouldn't aziraphale have tried it at some point? well, i think he probably has, and didn't like it. i think he tried to change it, in front of the metatron, so he could take a sip and not be offensive. but... it doesn't work. aziraphale's reaction is awkward. and metatron's reaction is smug. i think metatron has a miracle blocker.

aziraphale is not stupid. i think he knows possibly from that moment, or very soon after, that metatron has been up to something. i think he knows that metatron might have eyes and ears everywhere. i think aziraphale has worked out that metatron is not in fact A Nice Old Man, and knows it right through until he gets in the lift (which im going to talk about more in the aforementioned anon ask). i don't think aziraphale has been overtly threatened, because the metatron has worked so hard in this scene to be non-threatening. but he has underestimated how smart aziraphale actually is.

making the offer to reform heaven appeals to aziraphale, there is no doubt on that. and aziraphale is desperate for crowley to be with him - not only on the layer of wanting to be together, or another layer of crowley deserving to have heaven make amends to him, or even the layer wanting to protect crowley under his status as supreme archangel... but because if aziraphale walks away, without crowley, crowley has nowhere safe to go. the bookshop has been compromised, and it is no longer safe. metatron with his almond syrup has Eyes and Ears everywhere. when crowley refuses, aziraphale has to get to heaven, and to metatron, before they get to him.

i do completely believe that aziraphale wants to help heaven, and possibly seek any way in which he can return it to what he thinks or believes was god's original purpose for it - to return or make it into the place that was always meant to stand for good and justice and love. but i also believe that now, more than ever, aziraphale teeters on the edge of giving heaven a chance - or being burnt to ashes, literally or figuratively. idk about you, but i have a gut feeling on what option he, in this moment, would be inclined to take.

it was christmas time. the weather was very cold and it made you feel even more alone. your boyfriend alex was in mexico for the holidays. you were home alone, left to deal with a terrible cold.

it was the second week since alex left and you woke up in a cold sweat. your head was spinning and you felt the worst you’ve ever felt. you grab the thermometer on your bedside table and stick it in your mouth. as you wait for the beep, your body starts shaking and you realize you definitely aren’t okay.

“103.6…. wow, that’s too high” you whisper to yourself

at that same moment, your phone was ringing and you saw it was alex facetiming you. you quickly flatten your messy hair and wipe your sweaty face before answering.

“hi my love… how are you?”

you smile at his voice and respond in a slightly raspy manner,

“hi alex… im fine, i just miss you a lot”

“y/n are you sure you’re okay? you sound like you’re sick.. do i need to come home early? i hate that you’re alone and you seem super sick or—”

“no! um… no im fine! i just woke up so it’s probably why my voice is so raspy. don’t ruin your holiday for me, please? i know how much you love to be in mexico with your family for christmas and new years… i just want you to have fun okay?”

after a few silent moments he finally responds,

“yeah… okay y/n. but i swear to god you better not be lying to me about being sick or i swear…”

“you’ll what? fly back this very instant? haha, very funny” you tease

“oh just you wait chiquita, you won’t be laughing when im… never mind. anyways, i hope you’re doing well and i seriously miss your carita linda y/n. i have to go now but, te extraño tanto”

“i love you… take care baby”

and at that moment, alex noticed something in the corner of the facetime. he saw a bunch of used tissues, mugs with tea, and your thermometer on your bedside table. before the two of you hung up, alex quickly screenshot the facetime and said goodbye.

he looked closer at the image and saw there were medicines there, too. the thermometer, although unreadable from this angle, glowed a red light on the screen indicating that the temperature was feverish. alex was more than worried. as he explained the situation to his family, they all agreed that he should go home to tend to his beloved girlfriend.

back at home, y/n was getting worse. you struggled to sleep because of how badly your lungs were hurting and filling with nasty phlegm. your fever hadn’t gone down one bit. damn those cheap fever pills.

you had planned on showering but you need to work up the energy and so you took a long needed nap.

at the same time, alex had already hopped on a plane and was just about to land in california. he caught an uber to the nearest grocery store and collected everything he needed to help you. he quietly walked into your shared home and heard you lightly snoring from your bedroom.

he got to work immediately. he made the best mexican caldo de pollo con arroz that he could, just like his mother taught him. after a bit, he heard you getting up and assumed you were going to shower and so he continued to cook.

you were feeling absolutely awful now but you figured maybe a shower will do the trick. you stepped into the shower and the hot water felt very soothing. suddenly, you began to feel very lightheaded and see darkness creeping in from your peripheral vision. you saw black all at once.

alex heard a loud thud and quickly ran up to your restroom to see y/n unconscious and passed out in the shower.

“oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck… y/n please! im here, please wake up amor” alex hurriedly changed the water to cold and began to splash you awake. you saw black and then a flash of bright light came over you as you heard the most angelic voice ever.

“alexis?” you whispered in a confused manner

“oh my god y/n! im so so sorry i left you. you passed out and it scared me and i—“

“what are you doing here? you were just in mexico this morning..”

“mi amor,” he began as he wrapped my body in a blanket and ran the bath so i could get clean, “i saw all those things on your bedside table when i called you earlier and the moment i saw that red thermometer, i knew you weren’t okay”

you were in shock, you felt so many emotions and couldn’t even get one word out

“come here baby, sit in the tub and i’ll get your clothes ready okay?”

you nodded and sat in the warm bubbly tub. it felt nice and you didn’t have to waste your energy standing up. alex laid out some comfortable clothes for when you finished and he returned to the bathroom.

“close your eyes mi princesa” you obliged and felt alex scrubbing your long hair with shampoo.

you felt so relaxed and so grateful for your sweet boyfriend. you were too tired to say or do much so you let him bathe you. he soon helped you out of the bath and into some warm and comfortable clothes. he laid you in bed and left for a few minutes.

you closed your eyes and began to drift off into sleep. you woke up when you heard alex come back. he had a little table set up with some soup, a warm tea, and some medicine.

“i’m not upset with you okay? i just wish you had told me you weren’t feeling well… i mean, what would have happened if i weren’t here when you passed out in the shower? i just want you to be okay y/n.. so please, just let me take care of you okay?”

all you could do was nod and alex began to give you medicine for your fever and body pain. then he slowly started to feed you warm soup. it was very delicious. he also helped you drink your warm tea.

“alex… thank you so much for everything. im sorry i decided not to tell you but im really glad that you’re here with me. i feel better already”

alex smiled and continued to feed you. soon he helped you lay down and he tucked you in. he played some background noise and gave you a kiss on your forehead.

“te amo y/n… im sorry youre not feeling well… i hope you get better soon mi amor”

and with that, you fall asleep soundly.

sonic 3 spoilers below the thingy cos i HAVE to yap abt this movie

IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD MY BROTHER IN CHRIST SHADOW IS SO PERFECT though i feel like he didnt get as much screentime as he shouldve anywho im gonna yap abt some of my favorite scenes in the movie

the beginning - MARIA PLAYING LIVE AND LEARN ON THE GUITAR WAS SO COOL!!!!! it at least makes the song have some kind of sentimental value to shadow in-universe which im super happy abt. and also the way shadow was animated when he was beating up the g.u.n agents and whatnot IT WAS SO GOOD

team sonic first shadow encounter - it was great. the dialogue was a little cringe at the beginning but i believe that shadow's motorcycle chase was actually one of the best scenes in the movie it was so good and also sonic saying " wHO DOES YOUR HIGHLIGHTS??? " was great, it made me think of that one snapcube moment

idkk how to word my feelings on the general middle of the movie, things slow down a bit BUT WHEN THEY WERE AT THE OLD G.U.N BASE AND SHADOW PINNED SONIC TO THE GLASS??? OH MY GOD??? and also knuckles being scared of ghosts is adorable to me

what a way to start the volume. GOD i love the internal struggle. the imaginary dream sequence. the way it almost mirrors the meal scene with the dragon keepers, with peltrola coming in and killing that chef the way akabane killed his jfc. it's nit a 1-to-1 comparison but it just reminded me of that same old rottenness. and the fact that sakurama is d's conscience so to speak... oufjfjfjfj

it makes sense that d would resolve to get rid of both the dragons keepers AND the executives. to him, they're the same. it is heartwarming to see him regard his cadet buddies as special, so much so that d is unsettled by the idea that HE would hold such power over them. the same power and authority that he despises from the dragon keepers and executives.

HIS EYES. HE HAS THE UNSETTLING SPARKLES! NO D YOU'RE FALLING INTO THE TRAP!!

ok i just wanted to say that this made me laugh. like first nadeshiko's panacea thing was funny and then suzukiri pulls out a tv remote like HELLO????

i love d standing up for himself like this but i can also see the slippery slope of becoming like the executives... getting what you want and forcing that onto others... i wouldn't be surprised if d one day becomes an executive and has to grapple with that. hell, maybe in the later chapters he becomes a dragon keeper AND executive... damn.

i will say, peltrola is an interesting antagonist. someone so holier-than-thou who sees themselves as a god,,, an interesting match-up to the dragon keepers' divine sense of authority, what with their divine dragon tools.

okay i did not like blue keeper when he was introduced, but i think that's normal. i still don't like him but i do find him a lot more interesting and i appreciate his sense of self-awareness. living your life knowing you toe the line between good and evil, never committing fully to one, and feeling that your resolve wavers because of it... like damn. you did not deserve to die. you deserved to live and commit to doing better. death isn't redemption, it's just a tragedy. speaking of..

holy hell. the way d's murder of blue keeper was actually horrifying. just... the juxtaposition between d achieving his goal but feeling empty with loss anyway just hit so hard.

also (backtracking a bit) lil hibiki and tokita!!!!!! would not be surprised if tokita modeled his look after aogama. also aoyome and aogama's relationship is sweet. i like how she sees the best in him even if the worst of him shouldn't be ignored or excused.

So you guys know i (try to) post daily doodles, and i have said before that i draw for about 2-3 hrs every night. BUT that also means i dont post about like 80-90% of the drawings i do each night. Today though, i've been thinking about A*I and my own relationship with drawing, and how utterly baffled i am that anyone would want to use it to like...draw for them..and how the concept that *tell a computer what art to do so i dont have to do it* is alien to me. So here's ALL the drawings i did tonight. The bottom one is the last one i did and the one i would normally post. And i want to talk about A*I without talking about good or bad end product. Because i dont care if im making the shittiest art in the universe - i still wouldn't use A*I. Not even as a ‘tool’.

If you've been around here for a while you know i have a love/hate relationship with my art. I write too, but writing doesnt make me so frustrated and angry that i want to throw my computer out a second story window. HOWEVER. There is a huge caveat to that anger.

It happens after.

You could look at it a little like hockey. Every game is fresh, right? I mean god knows the US made an entire movie about how every game is a new game and the odds could always fall in your favor no matter how stacked against you. So every drawing i go into it excited - like LOOK at that reference material, its gorgeous. The gesture is beautiful, the post is interesting, there is something about it that is just begging to be drawn. But then say you hit intermission in the hockey game and the opposing team scored a few points. And i step back and look at the drawing and realize i started to go wrong somewhere along the way. But its too late now, you gotta commit and keep going. And you do but somehow the final score is STILL 6 to 0 and thats when i want to flush all my art down the toilet and never look at it again. But its okay because the next drawing is going to start with a blank canvas and who cares what happened last time.

Ok maybe a bad example.

The product is never really what drives me to draw - i mean, sure i do like it a heck of a lot better when i have something /anything/ that i can post to show that im sticking with my everyday doodle. But its not a requirement to doodling. The process of drawing is always fun. Its when i come out of it and look at the stupid thing that im like ‘well fuck i fucked that one up again didnt i’, and THEN i get annoyed lol.

I dont sit there consumed with frustration over ‘gee i dont know what to draw’. This is never an issue. I HAVE TOO MUCH TO DRAW. Sometimes i avoid certain gifs/photos because in the back of my mind im like ‘yeah no, i havent leveled up that far yet, i cant do that justice’. But i dont want to admit the sheer number of images of geno alone i have saved. I think my biggest reference folder is still aoki and that has over two thousand screenshots - i dont think anyone will ever surpass that LOL. I have a never ending supply of practice art to be done.

The frustration comes when i have an image in my head and i want to get it down on paper so-to-speak (computer whatever). So - when im NOT using reference (or at least not an exact one) and am making an ‘illustration’ (ish). But again, the process isn't the issue. I like the act of drawing, i like the image in my head slowly taking shape, i like how vividly i can see it. Yall know how obsessed i am with personality - that's not just part of the drawing, that IS the drawing. And each deicision in the illustration is defined by the personality/character.

A computer can't fucking do this.

Could i maybe tell a computer ‘draw geno in the shower’. Sure. And it probably could. And if i didnt care about the process - if all i wanted was a very good drawing of geno in the shower....that probably would be fine. Maybe great even. Maybe it would be the best damn drawing of geno in the shower ever. And then i'd feel like shit because a machine is producing art that is more valuable to other people than mine ever will be. But holy fucking shit that ruins the entire POINT of drawing???? Why would you do that?

I mean, im sure yall can infer the entire point of the act of drawing geno in the shower. He's hot, he's wet. ANYWAY.

In my opinion, a person who wants the end product and doesn't care about the process of getting there....that person is not an artist. That person is someone who enjoys art, and probably thinks they have a lot of good ideas to make into art, but who doesn't feel that pull to make art themselves. They just want to buy art. And they want it cheap. And mindless computers being trained in seconds on the decades of creativity and hard work of art masters is a heck of a lot cheaper than a human.

And the hardest part of all this for me is how worthless this makes me feel - nobody wants you, they want that automatic button. Kinda like my dad that way (haha)

Summary:

I'm afraid I won't have enough room to describe how much I love this game. I don't even know where to start :'). This game is a masterpiece of masterpieces. Easily comparable to FMAB in terms of incredible storytelling, foreshadowing, mystery, tragedy, comedy, score, design, you name it. I have never genuinely been so shocked by the surprises in this game, but they were all so well made and fit in the story seamlessly. The tragedy and comedy, the two most important aspects of a story to me, were not only very well balanced, but were used as expert emotional devices throughout the game. The character design is incredible. Small details such as Ryuu's arm brace or Enoch's mechanisms or Iris's dolls add such character and personality even if some of these details aren't plot relevant. Each character has a unique body type, face shape, facial features, etc that it is easy to identify each character without their hair or clothes. The deigns are also so brilliant that it even taught me how to not only draw older people and children, but to be able to distinguish between teenagers and 20-30 year olds in my art (instead of all looking the same age). The animations are beautiful and so ridiculous. I always looked forward to interacting with Herlock and the witnesses. These games also have one of my favorite scores, especially the way they are able to turn established themes on their heads. The music does an amazing job at establishing setting, character, tension, emotion, you name it. Now for the story telling. Holy fucking shit. Holy shit. You don't even realize how important every small is until it hits you in the face. This is a story that will rival my 1st place spot of FMAB [in terms of all media]. It is so beautifully designed and thought over that I can only say the writers at Capcom are true geniuses to make this story. It doesn't hold back any punches but also comforts you. It toys with your emotions and is smth almost evil, but it also gives you hope and confidence and lifts you up so that you can scream to the world. The key to this is Ryuu. He's no avatar like Link but you and him share a strong bond through shared experience. It was an ingenious move to have the first story be Ryuu accused of murder, you learn the hardest way possible how to become a defense attorney of true integrity. His relations to others is this game is incredible too. The betrayal, the longing, the tenderness. Him and Susato have an incredible "sibling" bond to where I truly felt anxious without her. Not to mention Kazuma. A human through and through. Once thought to be the righteous angel, he had later fallen from heaven just to learn the truth of who he and his father really are. Even as the game has ended, I still sit and contemplate on these characters. Although it was the right decision for Kazuma to stay, I am still in pain from their separation. I really wish I could say more but it's also hard to put into words all my feelings with so little space. If I could forget this game just to experience it again, I would. An outstanding work of art. I highly recommend. My new favorite game.

Did is say something somewhere about blind range and maybe killing something with your bare hands? I would never say that he did something like that but it kind of reminds me of this for some reason.

Either that or he was called by an animal? Maybe he means Sleep?

I like this image. Love that is cutting through darkness. This is really nice. It sounds nice and also the image that it creates is just lovely.

This makes me think about the car accident allusions. Or he means a broken jaw in a metaphorical way since he said something about jaws and how they show our true emotions.

This again reminds me of “Jaws”. It creates images of hunting and wild animals. I'm not really sure what he means though.

I like the play with opposites. Most humans like sunshine and not the rain. I can relate to the feeling that sometimes the rain fits the mood better and then you look at the sun in an angry way. As if it was shining in a sarcastic way.

Sugar I've got a taste for you....well! I still get ED vibes from this. Or from both of them. And carbon...maybe not breathing right? When you start to breath the wrong way because you are stressed?!

i really wanted to talk about this bc he looks great i think all black suits are wonderful i love them they look fantastic and elegant and they’re something other than the average but for the love of god you can afford a tailor . the arms and legs were too long they bunched up a little and i love oversized things but for suits it makes them a little messy . great outfit but tailoring would make it fantastic .

i loved this outfit although it was simple it’s a silhouette we don’t see a lot and it suited her really well . it’s rlly elegant and i think the hair and accessories suited it and kept it interesting but still to the minimal idea that niki was going for . she looks good .

top toot : triciaisabirdy. that floor length white floral gown was made for her. the colours compliment her skin tone and her tattoos the puff sleeves added a bit of flair to the bodice to distinguish it from the other sweetheart neckline gowns that were popular on the carpet the makeup was minimalist but effective her tattoos almost acted in place of necklaces or other accessories she looked fantastic

top boot : ranboo i just don’t get along with that mask . there was too much going on in one area everything interesting about the outfit was centred around his neck and sternum the red were all slightly different shades the idea was good i liked the idea of the colours but execution needed work .

Read both De Facto and De Jure and the timing is just perfect because ever since the premiere pics came out, I have been looking for modern!Aemond and these fics truly delivered!! I don’t know what it is but Ewan’s green carpet look emphasized his eyes more. Oh god, it’s so hypnotic and it’s exactly what I imagined reading in Aemond especially in De Jure when he was convincing our OC to take the position. His stare is soft yet dare I say it, slightly manipulative because he knows the power of those damned eyes.

Has Aemond had relations with Alys? Or is she just really good at reading people and situations? Because she said Aemond was sweet but gorgeous for his own good, which made me think he had done this before only for the person to either get sloppy at work or want more - both of which Aemond couldn’t afford to have happen to him at that ime hence why personal advisors could only last two years. Or when Alys warned her, was it about how Aemond would possibly entrap her?

Is OC older than Maris? To me it looked like Maris was hoping she’s get private sessions with Aemond and is pissed because she thought OC is stealing him from her. Alys is right, she sounds desperate, which is why I thought her younger.

Also as someone with a degree in International Relations this made me excited hahaha. You don’t know how happy I am that OC does her job well before sleeping with Aemond and she’s got a Master’s too. I’m not sure how Otto knew of her involvement in handling Aegon but I think he was also onboard because OC is the entire package - she’s smart, capable, and has a clean record. I don’t think Otto cares about her personally but he cares that she can make Aemond look good and actually deliver in his duty. I mean they make the ultimate power couple and it’ll surely secure the Greens position in parliament.

I also remembered the background check, does this mean Aemond was already looking for a potential partner/wife even then?

Lastly I’m imagining what will happen now that she agreed. Will Aemond suggest they drop little hints of their relationship? Or will they just surprise everyone with a bomb that Aemond is going to be engaged, they kept their relationship on the down low but now that OC proved her worth, they wanted to come clean, etc to endear them even more to the people. Wanted to ask yout thoughts on it! Hehe

De Jure has been in my drafts for MONTHS and the pics from last night catapulted me right back into the PM!Aemond brainrot and I have many thoughts 🤩

I see Alys as being a very intelligent and observant person, who sees through others easily and who also lives for the dramaaaa. In my head, nothing's happened between her and Aemond, but I can see them being a bit flirty haha. Alys won't know exactly what's going on in Aemond's head, but she would have picked up on the initial attraction and known something was going on as things developed between Aemond and pov character. Aemond is the PM, he's also only a piece in the Hightower political machine, so I think her warning comes from genuine concern. He's "too gorgeous for his own good," because he's charming, handsome, and he draws people in. Aemond will have been taught to be strategic and opportunistic, so he'd use that all to his advantage.

Thinking about it, it would make sense for Maris to be a year older than pov character because Maris' contract runs a year ahead of her's. I included her as a bit of a reference to F&B but Maris kind of demonstrates the extent of Aemond's attractiveness? People chase his approval but not everyone will get his favour.

Omg yes!! I did Politics and IR at uni and this is probably the best use I've made of my degree. The idea for this fic started off as a joke but I genuinely enjoyed thinking about the modern Westerosi political system and all the details.

It would have been on Aemond's mind that having a partner and a family would benefit his image, but this scenario specifically was a mix of coincidence and strategy. The way things worked out, he meets his new advisor, intrigued by her application, but he doesn't expect to be attracted to her. He'd try to restrain these feelings and rationalise them, but he's also a bit insane which is why he does the background check, he wants to know everything about her. If Otto knows who she is it's because Aemond talks about her. The fact that she's intelligent and capable would only make him more attracted to her. I think it's a slow process of realising that he wants her to be with him permanently, especially seeing how well she handles a crisis. Once the seat opens for Duskendale, that's when he'd put forward the idea to Otto and Alicent. It's a bit of a cop out for the Greens that Aegon has been dismissed for inappropriate behaviour, so they replace him with a young woman to get away from that image of misogyny. The Blacks have Jace but the Greens have a selling point of female empowerment which is why Otto and Alicent are happy to go along with it. It's a win-win for Aemond, he retains his power in Parliament and he can get the girl he wants.

I think they'd just drop the announcement. Aemond and the Greens wouldn't want a lot of speculation around the circumstances of their relationship and they'd try to direct the focus on the election. It's certainly one way to get publicity!

Ahh! Thank you so so much! I am truly honored to hear you like the story so far! Shadow of Yotsuya was a lot more of my own personal brand of brain rot compared to some of my other fics (I am such a horror fan, and I couldn't help but sprinkle some horror into the GV), so every time I hear people like it I giggle and kick my feet and scream and chew at the walls. Ahh! Thank you, I don't think I could ever really articulate how happy this makes me to read!

My sisters were the inspiration for the trio, so hearing they aren't boring ocs makes me feel a little less self conscious haha! I get that feeling sometimes too, where I care more about the pre-established characters than the OCs, so I really tried extra hard to make them feel like they'd naturally be a part of the Grishaverse - even though I lie awake at night knowing full well I have taken so many creative liberties with the extended lore and cultures that Leigh created! I'm so happy they don't feel out of place!

I really enjoy delving into perspective and how each Crow is technically an unreliable narrator because their own past experiences skew how they are interpreting what's going on - once I finish the series I was even considering going back and writing a bonus little ficlet where we see the Verzamelaar mansion indecent from Jaya and Kishori's perspective to show just how scary Kaz can be sometimes, but I have to actually finish the story first haha! And trust me, we are going to get a LOT more polycrow content now that the crows are starting to catch up on what has been happening
