As said memo are two redheads, and a half kryptonian and half human eating by the food area.

Damian, frowns: We need to save Richard, Todd and Drake.

Jon: They do look uncomfortable.

Damian, sighs: I have to enter the battlefield.

Jon, pats Damian's shoulder: You will be remembered by your bravery, Dames.

Damian breathes and walks towards the inner circle.

before Damian can even say anything else, the women have started cooing at him.

Damian internally cringes and he hopes this would be worth it.

thankfully, Damian don't have to suffer long as Wally, Roy and Conner join the commotion.

Roy: Sorry, Jaybaby. *he has that crooked smile, that Jason personally adores, as he wraps an arm around his waist* I was caught up at the food buffet. Want something to eat?

Jason, internally thanks the heavens for Roy and leans close to him: Starved. Excuses, everyone.

Todd is saved. Check.

Wally: Come on, honey. *holds Dick's hand and leads him away* I deserve a dance.

Dick, smiles like an idiot and holds Wally's hand: I better go, ladies. He gets a temper. Have a good night.

Richard is saved. Check.

Conner, touches Tim's shoulder then his cheek: Want something to drink? You seem tired, babe.

Tim, finally feeling awake for the first time since this happened and touches Conner's hand that's on his face: Yes, please, babe. Ladies, will you excuse me?

Drake is saved. Check.

the ladies are left speechless. some are jealous. some are frustrated they can't get the Wayne fortune. but, some are in awe.

Damian, lightly smirks: It's never gonna happen, ladies. Now, enjoy your night. Excuse me.

he finds Jon by the sweets section.

Damian, nudges Jon's arm: Thank you for that, Jon.

Jon, smiles: It's nothing. I needed to save you too.

they give each other a high five then proceed to challenge the other on who can eat the most chocolate covered strawberries.

I actually really adore Supergirl, and it's been so long since the last time I've drawn her. This was a little re-design for fun, and I'm so pleased with how it turned out!

Like Superman's trunks, I've gone back and forth on whether I like the idea of the skirt on her costume, and I think I have landed on digging it. I love that she goes into battle looking cute and kicking ass in a skirt.

I personally thought Feysand makes so much sense for Road to El Dorado with the way they play their enemies like a fiddle.

Trying to think of childhood film duos that fit Rowan and Aelin….they are schemers too but more so than Tulio and Miguel. Hell Aelin even tricks her own friends 😭😆

Marvel x DC au except it's specifically yj98 core 4 during civil war because I think young "regularly goes against governments when they have even the slightest feeling that they're in the wrong" justice would not only be very easy to recruit to cap's side but would without a doubt cause caps side to win along with adding another fresh layer of chaos onto everything

White collar handles angst in such a great way because 3/4ths of the characters are emotionally mature, well-regulated people so when things like El getting kidnapped for the treasure go down, Peter doesn’t blame Neal or Mozzie, and even hears out Neal’s side on how he got the treasure. El doesn’t hold any resentment either because she recognizes Keller is to blame even though he was after their treasure.

I wouldn’t have blamed them for being more mad at Mozzie and Neal, but the fact they understood where they were coming from and never misappropriately assigned blame (Peter even tells Mozzie to stop blaming himself, because it was Keller who kidnapped El) is such a huge indicator of their maturity.

Also, Peter being able to see Neal be willing to confess and go to jail for his part in stealing the treasure allowed him to see that his good influence WAS changing Neal too. Peter recognizes that Neal is genuinely trying to be better, even if he can’t fully kick his habits, so even when Neal fucks up, he always keeps that in mind.

There are other examples, but how they handled the treasure fallout really stood out.

If you watch a bunch of period dramas, you come away thinking that history was made exclusively by shockingly attractive people---when actually, famous poets with burnished names look more like Jim, The Local Bank Manager; artists who broke the mold wouldn't look out of place scrolling through their phone on the subway. You could walk past the absurdly wealthy doyennes of society in the grocery store and never give them a second glance.
