“It’s a match made in heaven, Sirius, I swear to God,” James had been saying for the last two hours.

“That’s what you say every time,” Sirius sighed. “And they never call you back.”

“He’s got a point, Prongs,” Peter said sheepishly.

“No, you weren’t there! He was so into me!” James swore. 

The other three shared disbelieving books, but pushed no further. They’d had this conversation many times, James always insisting that his most recent date was the love of his life, and then never hearing from them again. This back and forth was routine, and Sirius was just tired of seeing his best friend get hurt. He knew that it wasn’t that James was unlikable in any way. He was just a little…overeager. James was an all-or-nothing type of guy, and people tended to be scared off by the way he started planning their futures on the first date.

But against all odds, James’s phone started ringing. Not waiting even a single ring before picking it up, James answered with a huge grin. “Baby?” Remus, Peter, and Sirius all cringed at the pet name. There was a voice on the other end that sounded all too familiar to Sirius.

“Jamie?” The voice called. “You said to call you as soon as I could. Is this a bad time?”

“No, perfect, actually,” James answered, smirking pointedly at his friends.

“Regulus?!” Sirius demanded. James’s eyebrows furrowed, not reacting in time when Sirius grabbed his phone. “What the fuck?”

“Uh, I’ve got to go,” Regulus muttered, hanging up and leaving James to fend for himself.

“I didn’t know!” James screamed as Sirius hit him.

“You just thought it was a coincidence that he was named Regulus?!” Sirius screamed back.

Remus and Peter shared fits of laughter as Sirius continued to torment James for the rest of the evening. His anger was only interrupted every so often, when James would receive a text from Regulus and his face would light up. Sirius supposed that if it made both his brother and his best friend happy, he couldn’t be all that mad.

Wolfstar!daughter’s biggest accomplishment is her family. Even though she was adopted really young, she still remembers how it felt to be alone. Peter is Mary's first kiss, it was at valentine day when she gives them a card and chocolate asking them to be her partner (it lasted 1 month and half before they decided being friend was just better because)

Peter is Sirius' first kiss, James told him how he kissed Peter and Sirius decided he wanted to try too

Peter is Remus' first kiss, at this stage he was the only marauders who was not having already kiss someone and it have just happen because of Sirius being annoying

But Peter's first kiss will forever be the one with James, the one with his first love

I looooooove the Prongsfoot fandom. Like most marauders fans are nice but this sub-fandom is EXTRA nice.

I need a fic where Lily and Remus are super close like siblings. Like Lily has a moon necklace and Remus has one with a Lily and their most (all) the time together and Sirius and James are jealous (respectively) and it takes so long to realize their just friends cause James is very respectful, so he is falling for Lily, but respects her "relationship" so he is like "if friends is all we can be, so be it", and Sirius just straight up thinks (cause he is an idiot) that Remus is straight so he just yearns for something that "can't never be"

And Lily is losing it cause she is giving all the signs and doing all the necessary things and they're basically dating, but James is for some reason not making any moves

And Remus is yearning as well but he is like he would never looked at me like that and is happy with being just friends cause friend Sirius is better than no Sirius.

Do y’all think that when Mary cried when David Bowie died she was confused? She was never that big of a Bowie fan, she had always preferred ABBA, and she couldn’t even remember the last time she listened to his music. But something deep inside her told her to mourn, that this would have been devastating to… someone? She just couldn’t remember who. She didn’t even know if this was a real person.

Deep down I think she was not only mourning David Bowie but Sirius, and Remus. Them, there love for each other, there friendship with her, all of which she’s forgotten

Reggie's bday being December 31st, he was born around 11:50 pm. Almost a new year's baby.

He loves that he is the same age as Sirius for a while it makes him feel closer to him.

No one ever celebrated his bday because new years eve seemed more important to everyone though

Even if he did invite friends or family for his bday they usually didn't go.

He spent every year under the stars as the count down was yelled inside his home. He sat in the freezing cold mumbling happy birthday to himself as he cried silently.

There was always something more important to people than regulus.

Whether it was New years eve, Sirius, James, or power.

Every year when his birthday got closer he had hope that his friends, his brother...would spend it with him for his birthday. That the day would be about him, as selfish as it seemed that maybe they'd want to hang out.

And then they'd make plans and he would be so freaking excited only for them to cancel or say they couldn't make it.

After all Barty had his mother, Evan has his sisters, Sirius had James, his parents were preoccupied with entertaining others. Not that they even remembered it was his birthday. So he didn't blame them, a small part of him hated them....a bigger part of him knew it wasn't their fault. He was just never anyone's first choice....and he never would be

It was a stab in the gut everytime without fail that he sat under the stars around 11:50 pm every year on his birthday.

He'd look up at the stars and laugh bitterly. He was only visible around his birthday but only in the sky. He was fucking invisible as he grew just a year older without a single person by his side

How was that fair? He didn't understand....didn't they care for him? Did they even want him ...

So he decided what better time to die?
