Third votes are doubly useless for another reason: there are too many third party candidates and none of them are known well enough to have a chance in hell to win.

Voting third party as things are helps no one but the Republicans.

It is as helpful as abstaining from voting, which is to say not at all.

I hate that this needs to be said, i also hate that i’m saying this. I do not support biden at all. He is a despicable excuse for a human being. However the truth is: a third party candidate CANNOT WIN THE ELECTION. I have been seeing a concerning few posts floating across my dash recently. I don't really know if I want to reblog them, but I do need to remind everyone that will listen that voting 3rd party in the US Does Not Work right now.

Literally all it does is give Republicans a better chance at winning this election. It scares me to think there are people out there that want to vote 3rd part, when that is not how our current political system works. There is a history of 3rd party voting letting republicans win. You are literally throwing away your vote if you do this this year. You may as well not vote at all this year if you do not vote for Harris/Walz.

If you want a third part to win, you need to pass the info around and campaign for them a lot sooner than a few weeks before elections. At this point it is literally just a tactic to get votes away from Harris. I do not want to see that a 3rd party got 1000's of votes and Trump won by less than that amount of votes. It would make me sick to see that. This is not the change I want to see. The campaigns are too late in the game and it feels like sabotage.

So Please. Vote for the lesser of two evils, or watch as your vote is thrown away for a false feeling of a moral high ground.

If Trump is elected in 2024, Thomas and Alito will retire, just like Kennedy did in 2018. Trump will get to appoint two more justices in their 50s.

Like sexual assaulter and liar Kavanaugh. Or handmaid's tale Coney Barrett. And the conservative majority will be on lock for thirty years. Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Coney Barrett are in their 50s.

If Trump is elected in 2024, we've not only lost the Court for at least a decade (now) but another thirty years.

In a nutshell, if Trump gets into office, he will appoint two younger Supreme Court justices younger than Clarence Thomas, meaning the Supreme Court will be locked HARD RIGHT for AT LEAST 30 years.

By then, that means our potential children and grandchildren (if you even want to have kids) will have LESS RIGHTS THAN US.

Do you really want that?
