can u make me a rlly good skin care routine? except I don't have any toner...
🧾- hi pooks how are uuu I hope u finne
How to build a skincare routine ㅤ۪ㅤ۫ ꪆ୧ㅤ🧁ㅤ۫ ♡
Morning Routine: for All Skin Types
1. Cleanse: Start with a gentle cleanser that clears away overnight buildup without stripping your skin.
Oily skin? Use a gel-based cleanser.
Dry or sensitive skin? Opt for a hydrating cleanser.
1. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
Skin Type: Dry, normal, sensitive
2. CeraVe Foaming Cleanser
Skin Type: Oily, combination, acne-prone
3. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Cleanser
Skin Type: All skin types, sensitive
2. Rice Water Boost: Here’s the secret that works for everyone. No toner ? After cleansing, apply rice water using a cotton pad or gently pat it onto your skin. It brightens, soothes, and balances your skin naturally. (Make rice water by soaking rice in water for 20 minutes, then straining and refrigerating it.)
3. Moisturize: Hydration is key! Choose a lightweight moisturizer for oily skin and a richer one for dry skin. Combination or sensitive skin? Stick to non-comedogenic and fragrance-free formulas.
For Dry Skin
1. Eucerin Advanced Repair Cream
Deeply hydrating with ceramides and urea.
2. Weleda Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream
Nourishes very dry skin with botanical extracts.
For Oily Skin
1. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel
Lightweight, oil-free, and hydrates without clogging pores.
2. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mat Moisturizer
Controls shine and minimizes pores.
For Combination Skin
1. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
Balances oil and hydration levels.
2. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
Lightweight but hydrating for dry patches.
For Sensitive Skin
1. Avene Skin Recovery Cream
Calms irritation and strengthens the skin barrier.
2. Cetaphil Daily Hydrating Lotion
Gentle and non-irritating with hyaluronic acid.
For Acne-Prone Skin
1. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Matte Moisturizer
Non-comedogenic and soothes irritated skin.
2. Vanicream Moisturizing Lotion
Free from common irritants and ideal for breakout-prone skin.
4. Sunscreen: Finish your routine with SPF 30 or higher, even if you’re staying indoors. Sunscreen protects your skin from UV damage and prevents premature aging—an absolute must for everyone!
Night Routine: Restore & Repair
1. Double Cleanse: If you wear sunscreen or makeup, start with micellar water or an oil-based cleanser, followed by your regular face wash.
2. Rice Water (Again!): Use rice water as a natural toner to calm your skin and prep it for the night. It’s a multitasking hero that helps reduce redness, minimize pores, and add a glow.
3. Targeted Treatments:
Acne-prone? Apply a salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide spot treatment.
Dull skin? Try a niacinamide serum for even tone and radiance.
Dry skin? Opt for a hyaluronic acid serum to lock in moisture.
4. Moisturize: Seal everything in with your favorite moisturizer. At night, you can go for a slightly heavier one to aid your skin’s repair process.
Weekly Extras for Radiance
Exfoliate: Once or twice a week, use a gentle chemical exfoliant (like AHAs or BHAs) to remove dead skin cells. DIY trick: Mix honey and sugar for a natural exfoliating scrub.
Face Masks: Hydrate with aloe vera . You can also use sheet masks chilled in the fridge for a refreshing treat.
Steam and Detox: Once a week, steam your face for a few minutes to open up pores and deep-clean. Follow with a clay mask if you have oily skin or a soothing mask if your skin is sensitive.
Secret Skincare Habits for All Skin Types
2. Cold Spoon Hack: Struggling with puffy eyes? Chill a spoon and press it gently under your eyes for an instant de-puffing effect.
3. Jade Roller Magic: A jade roller or gua sha tool works for all skin types. Massage your face daily to improve circulation and reduce puffiness.
4. Silk Pillowcase: Sleep on silk pillowcases—they’re gentle on your skin, reduce friction, and keep your hair and face smooth.
5. Hydration Inside Out: Drink plenty of water and eat skin-friendly foods like avocados, nuts, and fruits. Your skin reflects what you put into your body!
and there is a LOT of skincare tips I will try to make other blogs Abt it soon. !!

Reveal Your Bollywood Glow: Unveiling Celebrity-Inspired Skincare Secrets.
This blog is going to be all about Indian & bollywood inspired products and skincare tips. If you also want a blog separately about Indian natural and authentic skincare or hair care I'll surely make it. 🫶
Know Your Skin Type : Identify your skin type - whether it's oily, dry, combination, or sensitive - to tailor your skincare routine effectively.
Cleanse Like a Star : Use a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil or Neutrogena to remove dirt and makeup and a oil cleaner is a must if you wear makeup daily. Opt for micellar water for a quick and effective cleanse on busy days. (But I don't really recommend it).
Exfoliate for Radiance : Incorporate a mild exfoliator like St. Ives Apricot Scrub or The Body Shop's Vitamin C Glow-Revealing Liquid Peel to slough off dead skin cells and reveal glowing skin. And my personal favorite coffee scrub from The Bombay shaving company. Don't exfoliate more than twice a week.
Hydration Is Key : Use a hydrating toner such as Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray for an instant boost of hydration or toner + mist from pilgrim works like magic (my fav 😭).
Targeted Treatments : Include a serum with ingredients like hyaluronic acid (for hydration) or vitamin C (for hyperpigmentation) if you are under 17 or 18 like me don't use vitamin c or if you want to use in very less %, I use 2% kojic acid for my uneven skin tone from pilgrim, it's very begniner friendly. (Always consult a dermatologist for your skincare don't go around seeing videos on insta and YouTube believing them). I recommend Minimalist if you want chemical bases serums.
If you are above 23 or 25 Incorporate a retinol-based cream like RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream for anti-aging benefits. (Got this tip from mumma for y'all 😭✨️)
Sun Protection Essentials : Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, such as La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra Light Fluid, to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. More affordable and effective sunscreens from brands — dot and key, aqualogica, Dr. Seth and wish care.
Overnight Nourishment: Use a hydrating overnight mask like Laneige Water Sleeping Mask to replenish moisture while you sleep. Incorporate a facial oil like The Ordinary's Rose Hip Seed Oil for added nourishment and radiance.
DIY Treatments Inspired by Bollywood:
- Try a turmeric, gram flour and yogurt face mask inspired by Priyanka Chopra for glowing skin.
- Use aloe vera gel like Deepika Padukone for its soothing and hydrating properties. (MY fav bolly actress btw 😭❤️)
Lifestyle Tips for Healthy Skin : Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day people are not stupid that they are going around telling you to drink water, IT'S A MUST!. Incorporate antioxidant-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and green tea into your diet for overall skin health.
Some of my fav brands (mostly available in india) : dot and key, Foxtale, pilgrim, minimalist, st. Botanica, organic harvest and aqualogica!
Fav brand released by a bollywood actress: Hyphen by Kriti Sanon, their lip balm can even beat Rhode's lip balm istg- and their sunscreen 🔛🔝.
Channel your inner Bollywood diva and achieve a radiant, flawless skin with these skincare tips and product recommendations. Let your skin glow like a star!

do you have any tips on hormonal pimples? or like teen pimples (idk what they r called) because i have so much of them but none of these toners and serums are helping.
Make sure to wash your face twice daily with a gentle cleanser. Avoid scrubbing your skin too hard, this can make acne worse.
Look for products that are labeled as "non-comedogenic," which means they won't clog your pores. This is especially important for makeup and moisturizers.
Products containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid may be helpful in treating acne. Start with a lower strength and gradually increase if needed.
Prescription strength retinoids can be very effective in treating acne, but they can be irritating to the skin. Talk to your doctor and start with a lower strength and use as directed.
Here are some product recommendations:
Cleansers:
CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash
Moisturizers:
Cetaphil Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mat Mattifying Moisturizer
Salicylic Acid Products:
The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution
Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment
Benzoyl Peroxide Products:
Neutrogena Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Spot Gel
Acne.org 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide Treatment
Non-Comedogenic Sunscreen:
Neutrogena Clear Face Liquid Lotion Sunscreen SPF 30
EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46
Spot Treatments:
Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
Kate Somerville EradiKate Acne Treatment
The food you eat is super important for how your body's hormones work. Hormones are messengers that your body makes to control your growth, metabolism etc. They travel through your blood and tell different parts of your body what to do. Eating a good mix of healthy foods helps keep these hormones in check. Things like protein, good fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals help make and control hormones. For example protein is needed for hormones like insulin and growth hormone, while healthy fats help with hormones like estrogen and testosterone.
Also, when you're stressed a lot, your body makes more of a hormone called cortisol, which can mess up other hormones. Moving your body through exercise can help with hormones by reducing stress and making you feel happy. Also, sleep is really important. Not getting enough sleep can mess up hormones that control hunger and fullness.
So, eating healthy foods, managing stress, staying active, and getting enough sleep are all really important. They help keep your hormones in balance and make sure your body works well.
Most importantly, don't let acne affect your self-esteem. You are beautiful just the way you are! Pimples are very normal and they do not take away from how amazing you are <3

Skincare Tips for Managing Acne
• Drink lots of water
• Take vitamins
• Cleanse your face daily (a mild, gentle face wash/cleanser should do the trick. Highly recommend the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. It's very easy on the skin and if you're one with sensitive skin then this product is perfect for you
• Wash your hands before applying any sort of product onto your face. Avoid using unclean hands
• Do not squeeze/pick at pimples on the face
• Use a separate towel for the face and body
• Avoid junk and spicy foods especially oily, fried foods. Instead eat lots of fruits and veggies. Stick to healthier meals
• Give yourself a facial
• Change pillow cases and bedsheets
• Get enough sleep
• If you're one to wear makeup. Then try wearing the minimal amount or go makeup free. Let the skin breathe !
• Visit a Dermatologist
I hope you all enjoy this post and I hope that these tips will be helpful for you all. Please let me know what you guys think of them or what else I should make mention of/include. Or tell me some of your tips and skincare routine. I would love to know ! <3

I would love some makeup and skincare tips if you're willing :)
-🌼
of course!! (these answers are very general/assuming you're starting from the very beginning. if you want more specific advice lmk just give me more specific questions)
so I've talked about skincare on here before so I'll put that at the bottom of this ask, and I'll start with make up instead this time
makeup takes a learning curve to figure out how to use. there's no getting around that. it took years for me to figure out makeup stuff and I started playing around with it when I was only 12-13ish. don't feel embarrassed if your makeup doesn't turn out how you want. depending on what you're doing, you're basically learning how to paint but, like, really specifically and only on your face. it takes practice and that's ok! if you're embarrassed about people seeing you with makeup on, just do it alone in your room. the only reason I got good at winged eyeliner was because I made myself do makeup every day during the first quarantine era of covid so that I'd have a daily routine established and wouldn't just sit in pajamas in bed all day. I wasn't going out at all, so I made myself do winged eyeliner every time bc I knew no one was gonna see it, and it didn't take long for me to get good at it. so practice when you're alone and wipe it off when you're done. you'll figure it out eventually.
now as far as what kind of makeup to do on your face. well, that depends on what you're trying to achieve with makeup. do you want to cover up acne? do you want to do fun eyeshadow and eyeliner? do you want to enhance your natural features? if you're completely new to makeup I'd recommend starting with the basics of just trying to enhance your natural features. that's usually very simple and easy makeup that'll help you learn the foundations of it all so you can build up from there.
'natural' makeup routines that you read about online are probably going to consist of some kind of tinted moisturizer, maybe some concealer, maybe mascara, and probably a bit of blush. it depends on how much you want to do. if you're going for something with more coverage to cover up acne, look for foundation instead of tinted moisturizer.
if you're just starting out you're probably going to want to go for drugstore makeup instead of the expensive stuff. maybelline anti-age rewind multi-use concealer has been my go to concealer for years now. elf as a whole is a really low-priced and generally well recommended makeup brand with a lot of variety to what they sell. for whichever product you're trying to get, tbh just google 'best drugstore brand [insert product here]' and you'll find a ton of magazine articles pop up with recommendations.
last tips for now. here's what you don't need when you're just starting out: primer (you are probably not going to be doing heavy daily makeup right off the bat it's not worth it in that case). look, I know everyone talks about primer being amazing. but I basically never use foundation or tinted moisturizer, I just use concealer. so it's very unnecessary for me. later on you might find you need it, but at the start I promise you don't
hope that helps with some makeup stuff! skincare info below!
okay so for skincare, I've found that it's easiest to build a routine one step at a time. don't feel like you have to rush into everything all at once. first get into the habit of washing your face every morning and night if you don't already. make sure you have a good facial cleanser that's suited to your skin type (please don't use body soap for your face). cetaphil and cerave are both very highly rated drugstore skincare brands that have a lot of options for face cleansers for all skin types (oily, dry, sensitive, etc). then you need a moisturizer. again, I recommend either cetaphil or cerave to start off with bc of their low price point and how highly rated their products are. I use cetaphil daily face cleanser and cetaphil's daily oil free moisturizer with spf 35. definitely try to get one with spf in it because sun protection is the other essential part of a bare bones skincare routine. when looking for a face moisturizer, try to go for ones that say they're non-comedogenic which means they won't clog your pores. oil-free is probably preferable too especially if you have acne.
after you have the basics you can get into other stuff! this stuff is going to depend on what skin issues you have. there are a whole lot of serums out there you can look into (niacinamide I think is one of the best serums for most skin types and you can get a bottle of it from both good molecules or the ordinary for like $6). different serums are formulated to target different things, so again try to google stuff to see what might be most helpful for you. skincare brands besides cetaphil and cerave that I think are good to start out with is the ordinary (high quality at a very low price) and good molecules. neutrogena also has some pretty good products, and I really love elf's eye cream. but if you're really unsure where to start, the ordinary has an online quiz you can take on your site which will recommend products to you based off what you say your skin issues are, so even if you don't end up buying anything from them that can give you an idea of what products to start looking at.

g'raha you need to leak your skin routine asap
oh gosh… its not that good. but honestly i think its simply because i am awful at doing it on my days off work. its just cetaphil daily facial, a separate face rag then my body rag in the shower, and then i use face lotion for those with oily skin. 🫶 i use a oil based cleanser once a week

no one asked but here's my skincare routine xx 🌚 (including pictures of all the products !)
i'm a teen with acne-prone slightly sensitive skin that gets oily by the end of the day🧖♀️
(i'm 99% sure i'm allergic to salicylic acid bc it didn't help with my breakouts/caused them so i avoid it in my routine❕)
as a makeup remover i use the elf holy hydration makeup melting balm 🚿
& a makeup eraser cloth 🧽
for stubborn waterproof eye makeup i use garnier skin active micellar cleaning water all-in-1 waterproof (aka the blue one) i have a huge bottle of it :)💧
(i want to start using reusable cotton rounds so pls lmk of any good brands !)
i just ran out but if i haven't worn makeup but my pores feel especially clogged i use the burt's bees oil cleanser 🥥 (you do have to double cleanse with a water based cleanser afterwards !)
for a daily water-based facial cleanser i use two different ones
the cerave foaming facial cleanser 🧼 "oil control" on the bottle is no joke ! i don't get oily in the day anymore bc of the niacinamide in this :)
but it can be a little drying/strong so i mix it with the cetaphil gentle skin cleanser 🛁
i use this really cheap & generic silicone face scrubber for my nostrils/chin/sideburn-hairline area 🧽
once a week i use this scrub pixi peel and polish its a mask with physical and chemical exfoliants
it smells like lemon cucumber water🥒 and can also be used for body acne on the chest, back, & arms !!
once a week i use an AHA chemical exfoliant it's elf supertone toner 🌝 it has glycolic acid and is has a little bit of a lemony scent
what i use as a daily toner is thayer's rose-scented witch hazel spray 💌 it calms down any redness i have instantly !
i used to use the cerave daily moisturizing lotion but it was a little oily and it was impossible to apply makeup on 🧘 so now i use it on my hands before doing my facial moisturizer
and for that i use a mix of elf holy hydration gel-yeah moisturizer and elf holy hydration face cream 💦 it's pretty self-explanatory but the former is a clear gel and the latter is a white cream, i adjust the proportions for my moisture needs :) ⛲️
in the winter or if my face feels dry or in need of healing i use clinique moisture surge overnight face mask 🦪
"mask" is a little misleading as you just apply it with your moisturizer like any other lotion 🧴 it's super hydrating, it's a little expensive but i got it as a gift and a little goes a long way ! :)
after a breakout has healed completely i use a little bio oil on top of my moisturizer to fade any dark spots/scars 🐚
after i shower and exfoliate my lips i use this random lip mask from bath and body works that's watermelon scented 🍉 it's thick (a little goes a long way) and yummy
i also use smith's rosebud salve in this tin 🌹 it's like a nice scented vaseline
i don't use it all the time bc it's expensive but i love the mario badescu caffeine eye cream💆it's so good for my sunken dark circles ! but avoid getting it in your eye and keeping it in the bathroom bc it curdles if it gets too hot from shower steam
for active acne spots i use might patch pimple patches 🩹regular for whiteheads and micropoint ones for swollen spots under the skin
those are pretty expensive so for smaller spots i use mario badescu drying lotion overnight 🫧
i'm pretty bad at remembering sunscreen in the morning but i just got the glow recipe dew balm with spf 45 and niacinamide 🌸 i love the glow and the light fruity scent :)
i do want mention that my life-saver game-changer for stopping cystic acne (those painful lumps deep in the skin) and just acne in general has been hormonal birth control pills ! after i started BC for pcos/hormonal reason all of my breakouts decreased significantly🪽
tysm for reading !! 🕊️ xx

Pacifica Vegan Ceramide Extra Gentle Face Wash
Brand: Pacifica Beauty
Product Type: Cleanser
Price: $12 USD
Size: 5.0 fl oz
✔️Vegan ✔️Clean Ingredients ✔️Cruelty Free ✔️Sustainable Packaging
Star Ingredients:
Vegan Ceramides: Strengthens skin barrier, hydrates
Marshmallow Root Extract: Soothes and smooths skin
Calendula: Calms skin, addresses sensitivity and redness
Texture: Milky gel
Feel: Clean, but not stripped
Scent: 🌸
No added fragrance.
Results: This is a fantastic cleanser for people with sensitive skin. It is dermatologist tested, is allergen free, and has the seal of approval of the National Eczema Association. The actives in this product are specifically for targeting dry, red, agitated skin and soothing it. The ceramides strengthen the skin barrier while the marshmallow root and calendula calm agitated skin. It has a really slippery feel to it, but rinses away clean.
Price per ounce, this product can't be beat. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the bottle design. It's really hard to control the amount of cleanser that comes out and I usually wind up with way more than I need. Fortunately, this isn't the type of cleanser that's going to dry or strip your skin if you use too much. Still, I wish the opening was smaller or something, because a large bottle like this could last much longer than it does.
Comps: Low-cost dermatologist approved cleansers include: e.l.f. Cosmetics Pure Skin Face Cleanser ($9/6.09 fl oz), Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser ($11.99/8.0 fl oz), Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser ($11.99/8.0 fl oz), Cerave Hydrating Face Cleanser ($14.99/8.0 fl oz), La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser ($14.99/6.7 fl oz), Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Gel Cleanser with Hyaluronic Acid ($15.99/7.8 fl oz), and Untoxicated Clean Start Facial Cleanser ($17.95/7.0 fl oz). Vanicream, Cerave, and Cetaphil are brands that have been around for a long time, and you can usually find generics that are a few dollars less than the brand name. It's the same product though, if you're looking for even more of a bargain.
Pricier dermatologist approved cleansers are: Avene Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser Lotion ($27/6.7 fl oz) and Tula Skincare Super Calm Gentle Sensitive Skin Cleansing Milk ($34/5.0 fl oz).

Be skin confident with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and Moisturising lotion this autumn and winter. Cooler weather temperatures can have a knock-on effect on how our skin feels. Our skin barrier can become compromised, which means it can be easily irritated and may feel dry due to increased trans-epidermal water loss. Switching up your skincare routine, even if you don't usually suffer from sensitive skin, can protect your skin barrier during the cooler weather months. I have been using the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser that can be used morning and night. So creamy and soothing to use, and leaves the skin not only clean but soft and hydrated. I am not one for thick moisturising creams in the morning, so this lotion from Cetaphil is perfect if you are after a lightweight and quick-absorbing product for your morning routine. These products don't have to be used just on the face; they are great for daily use on the body too and they come in huge 1L bottles!
