Turns out Sunlit Trail isn't quite done just yet, so after all that they just send you to a dead end 😂
#rain world#comic#rw chasing wind#sunlit Trail#Hunter#Art#Chasing wind spoilers#I can't imagine anyone filters that tag but just in case sksksks#ANYWAYS turns out mod is way better than I expected and it's super well made.#So far made the trip as hunter (first time) then riv and now working on arti.#For arti I realized that howling rifts led to sub and sub led to dar shore so I was like sweet! A shortcut!#Now imagine for a sec trying to get through a parkcore + miros bird gauntlet with a corpse and a worm within 5 cycles#before the scav ran out of karma and you were stuck inside forever. Yeah#Besides that tho I've been messing around and been very tenderly modding the game.#Turns out you can have a bit of fun with most sprites without too much effort by simply cloning the MSC mod in your files#Then changing the copy's mod info so it doesn't clash and simply swapping images out for whatever you want#As long as you have the sprite name you can do this. You can also change region names and decals and music all sorts of stuff.#In short I've been brewing a custom mod for a friend to make her suffer as much as possible <3#Thanks to a buddy on the rw server for showing me that trick btw lol. The best cesspool I've ever participated in#Oh before I forget- the symbol on CW's head is completely made up. They just looked so... Bald.#Tbh I wasn't expecting their personality to be so... bright? Most interpretations make them kinda solemn and gloomy#But nah this CW is what NSH should've been 100%. I like them. Not gonna spoil too much but their situation is somehow so... chill.#Still bad tho!#Other fun news! There's a scammer going around on discord that's basically like ''bad news I reported you for fraud''#And they're getting a lot of people. My buddy that owned my home server got hit and we lost everything. It's all OK tho nobody was hurt#I keep trying to ask them questions on my alts but they're ignoring me... I kinda wanna bait them into doing the scam with me#to see how far I get before they catch on 😜#Wasting a scammer's time is never a waste of time#Ah I had more to say but I reached my tag max. Till next time- hopefully my animation project will be done by then!

okay wait. scam shows up to try and like in his words fix grant and marcos relationship. and im pretty sure all the teens are supposed to be basically the same age (except taylor whos 19 obv) so this was around when hermie was born.
like i know this is partially just me thinking its funnier if this joke relationship has this extremely serious hand in unlovable hand shit going on but like. the evidence that scam and jodie were more complicated than scam pretending to like him to scam him out of a child is stacking up.

No shade, but if this doesn't trigger 'scam' alarm bells in your mind, multiple times, then you need to update your internet safety skills
(I blocked them after that. If I am wrong I'd rather risk one upset commissioner vs getting scammed out of my time and skills as an artist)

10 Ways to Spot Financial Scams and How to Defend Yourself
Scammers target the vulnerable, desperate, and ignorant on purpose. These are the people so downtrodden and hopeful that they’ll reach for any life line in the stormy sea of their dire circumstances. They’re the ones most likely to ignore their instincts when something looks too good to be true.
It’s a little counterintuitive, right? You’d think scammers would go for the wealthy and stable, those who have plenty to siphon off. Yet the deeply indebted or impoverished, the elderly on fixed incomes, those facing major medical crises or bankruptcy… these are the people commonly targeted by financial scams.
If you’re financially stable, in good health, debt-free, youngish, and relatively computer literate… you’re probably not a good mark for financial scams!
Your grandma on the other hand… she better be on high alert.

Friendly reminder that if you ever see this cat...
Tumblr media
...the post is a scam!!
And never trust a random blog that sends you a message asking you to boost or donate.
Tumblr media
If you really want to double check, then spend 30 seconds scrolling through their blog until you hit the end, because you will hit the end, b/c scam blogs are almost never more than a few days old.

I may not get something because of country differences but keeping libraries alive, keeping authors fed and keeping copies of books, preferably in paper, are all different things. I am one of the people that bought tons of queer books in my country before and after bans started. Banned books are *banned* from libraries and bookstores! You can't "defend that book because it's popular" from under ban! That's a ban!! Libraries would be forced to destroy it! And yes I have a lot of books pirated because even if I like to buy books *there's no safe and legal* ways to buy some of them! And I prefer to be ready in case of another author become enemy of the state. I'll still buy their books while I can but I'll feel safer having a pirated copy in case of this book becoming literally extinct!
But you know what you can do? You can build your own library. You can connect with other people close to you. You can check what books they have. You can make lists together and put lists online in your community (be careful of course, it's already unsafe in our country to just have some books at home). And you can make your own grassroot library and literary give other people books in rotation. It's especially important for people from states with most evil laws. There's a lot of space between "libraries can't have this book anymore" and "keeping this book at home is a punishable offense" and you can share things with each other in this space (I'm telling this to you as a someone who becomes to-go person for borrowing banned books in last couple years).
I'm already seeing advice from people in the US to purchase queer books and other banned or "controversial" books on paper as a way to combat the wave of government censorship that is coming. While this is a good idea (it is! absolutely!), it's not accessible to everyone, and truly, we're not going to be able to consumerism our way out of this one.
If you can buy the books, do. Whether you can buy the books or not, borrow them from your library.
Borrow the paper versions. Borrow the ebook or audiobook versions. Request the titles you want that your library doesn't have. The more a title circulates or is requested, the better librarians are going to be able to defend keeping it if and when it's ever challenged.
Use libraries like @queerliblib too. The more members they have, the better they'll be able to fundraise.
Your community resources depend on you using them. Borrow the books before they go away.
InB4: Piracy is not the solution here. We're trying to keep community resources available, not make sure individual people can read individual books. Different problems.
The books are still available. Borrowing them from your library and returning them on time and in good condition will help keep them that way.

i genuinely hate how people have to sit and write a post that stands out while boosting a fundraiser because most people won't bat an eye at the misery and inhumane conditions Palestinians are living in.
i see people making art and telling others to use it because fundraisers with art are generally reblogged more often. i see people using colored text in order to make the post more eye catching.
palestinians on instagram are using popular audios and stitch trending reels at the beginning to make the world pay attention to them. imagine having to make something look entertaining in order to survive.
they are living under constant threat of israeli airstrikes, bombing, scarcity of food and disease. many have lost a lot in the past few months.
palestinians on tumblr are posting their pictures and the horrible conditions in which they are living. they travel long distances for internet connection only to be called a scammer by some privileged ass who cannot locate gaza on a map.
here are some verified gfms. please share the linked posts. it's the bare minimum we can do from the comforts of our home.

Just got my first scam call from a real person!
Told her my name was Corvid Toenail (I spelled out toenail and she still didn’t get it)
Apparently paying an 80 dollar installment for a phone that I don’t need is trustworthy and proof it’s not a scam, all she wanted was my name, date of birth, and home address!
I told her I was born October 13 1917… only when I clarified 17 not 70 did she ask how old I was… I told her I can’t do math, and then she caught on… this made my fucking day

Hi. Brieflovewombat, who you recently reblogged from, is a scammer. They have used this story and profile picture several times in several different scams. I recommend deleting your reblog and reporting and blocking their account. In the future, you can check kyra45 's blog, or simply search up the url of blogs before you reblog them. Please be careful about what you're spreading!
Can you please direct me to the scammer because I’ve really lost track.

About the asks about palestinian fundraisers I share: I hope i make it seem clear when a fundraiser is vetted or not.
I do my best to find if a fundraiser is legit or not and still, if you are willing to donate, I hope you do your own research and donate to people you trust.
What I do is search their account on here, see if the usual vetting accounts have shared it or confirmed is legit, and add the info i get on the posts I make. I also do a reverse search of the images they use to see duplicates. Until now I have found accounts with little info or with duplicated images and trust me I haven't shared them if I wouldnt donate to then myself, it's not like my account will get them much reach either way and the accounts asking for help message multiple people at once so if they are legit I won't be a nuisance.
