Trumpism is not an aberration but the logical extension of a neoliberal system that thrives on hierarchy, disposability, and fear. The destruction of public goods accelerates the emergence of what Etienne Balibar calls “the transition from the social state to the penal state”—where repression replaces care, and policing takes the place of welfare. The gutting of federal aid programs, the assault on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and the defunding of institutions that support the most vulnerable are not incidental; they are central to the neoliberal strategy of dispossession. In the age of Trump, cruelty becomes an organizing principle of violence as is evident in homegrown notions of fascism that define citizenship in racist inclusive terms for white Christians only, sanctions genocide in Gaza, promotes mass poverty, and supports the ecological destruction of the planet. What we are witnessing as Pankaj Mishra notes is the emergence of a culture convulsed in hatred and rancor matched by an ongoing process of dehumanization and a “retreat into grandiose fantasies of omnipotence.”  Trump’s presence in American politics appears as the current endpoint in which hate, bigotry, and sanctioned ruthlessness “have reached a new peak of ferocity.” -- Henry Giroux

I pointed this out in a Discord server I'm in and thought Id share here:

Bob Iger announced that Disney is going to absorb Hulu, and Hulu will no longer exist next year. All shows will move to the Disney+ app.

Disney also announced they were going to remove shows and movies periodically from their streaming services.

I believe both of these moves are because of the Writers Strike.

Disney knows its going to lose the strike. There is too much public support. Specifically, the WGA is going to win writers getting more residuals from streaming.

So if Disney takes shows off of streaming, they dont have to pay the writers the residuals.

They are going to use excuses like "not enough funding for the server capacity" or "not enough views to warrent keeping the show". These are BULLSHIT. Its all greed. Its only GREED.

Pay attention to what happens in the following weeks.

And keep supporting the writers' strike.

In 1933 FDR made owning gold in the US a Federal Crime. Everyone had to turn in their gold for Federal Reserve Bank Notes. That gold was supposed to be stored in the US Treasury Reserve at Fort Knox.

Well, here's 👆 an idea...

The US Government claims it has almost 5000 tons of Gold, but Fort Knox US Gold Reserve has not been audited since 1974, it has been nearly 50 years ago.

"No one has seen any of it!!!"

Maybe it’s time for Elon and DOGE to "conduct a full audit" of every single ounce of Gold with video(trustworthy source) and witnesses to prove it to the people! 🤔

Kash Patel, recently confirmed as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), brings a diverse background in law and national security to the role. His roles have provided him with extensive experience in overseeing national security operations and intelligence matters, aligning with the responsibilities of an FBI Director.

However, his confirmation was contentious, passing the Senate by a narrow 51-49 vote. Concerns were raised regarding his strong political affiliations and potential conflicts of interest, particularly related to his financial ties to the fashion brand Shein.  

Despite these controversies, Patel’s supporters argue that his legal and national security background equips him to lead the FBI effectively.

When the China-founded fashion company Shein goes public as soon as this year, it will mint billionaires and millionaires out of those fortunate enough to get shares early in the trendy retailer. Among the winners will be Kash Patel.

His mandatory financial disclosures revealed that he consulted for Elite Depot for nine months last year and earned between $1 million and $5 million worth of shares. These shares will become available to Patel when they vest throughout 2025. It was also reported that Patel introduced Shein executives to figures in the Trump orbit.

Financial compensation experts say Patel will be allowed to keep the shares even as he is confirmed as FBI director.
