I want an AU where after Jason gets brought back to life, he channels his inner rage and turmoil into the academics instead of murder
Talia has like infinite money and a crap ton of influence, so she can absolutely get Jason the best tutors and can easily get him into the most prestigious schools if Jason wanted to (she doesn't need to do that though because Jason's just smart enough to get into them on his own)
The major he chooses? Med.
Why? Because Bruce dropped out of med school.
Jason practically flies through all the secondary education that he needs to catch up on and is already en route to earning his bachelor's AND his master's.
And it'd be so incredibly funny if the way Bruce and Jason reunite in this AU was purely by coincidence.
Bruce (as Brucie Wayne) offers to show up as a guest lecturer at Hudson University (the school Dick attended but dropped out of so double points for Jason), maybe to talk about future career paths and job positions at WE idk
So as Bruce is just wandering around the campus, he randomly bumps into a student and immediately puts on the Brucie act and is all "Oh my, I'm SO sorry, I'm just a klutz haha" only to stop dead silent when he makes eye contact with a very alive, very grown Jason Todd, who also stops dead in his tracks, mouth agape, staring at Bruce like the world's about to end
And before Bruce can get his thoughts straight, Jason just bolts out of there like his life depends on it, and Bruce is just in shambles for the rest of the day.
It doesn't help that the person giving Bruce the tour is all like "Oh yeah, that's Jason, he's one of the heads on our student council haha, anyways, this way, Mr. Wayne." and Bruce is just stood there bluescreening.
----
Alternatively, it'd be kinda funny if this all happened AFTER the events of UTRH where after the final encounter with Bruce and Joker and the whole explosion, Jason's just like "yk what, maybe I'm just gonna turn over a new leaf and pursue a higher education"
So while Gotham's still reeling from the aftermath of Jason's near takeover as the top crime lord and Bruce is still painstakingly trying to figure out where his son went, the whole time Jason's just been chilling on a school campus and Bruce just so happens to bump into his son (who, last time they met, tried to kill Bruce and blew up the building they were all in) and Jason's just all normal-looking with his textbooks and nerdy glasses and Bruce doesn't know whether to scream or cry.

Happy new years everyone. This ones been....exciting lol
From some of the best moments of my life to some of the scariest. This year has been the ultimate rollercoaster. But I have a new years revolution I want everyone to attempt to follow with me.
I want to live, not just survive this next year. But to LIVE it.
I want to go out and live life to the best it can. I want to compliment strangers and learn how to drive on these busy roads, I want to eat interesting and new foods and try on different clothes. I want to cut my hair with bold and new styles and learn how to rollerblade. I want to watch the sunset knowing there is nothing on that growing to do list that needs to be done that day. I want to look at myself in the mirror everyday and try to tell myself "I deserve the love I'm given." We all deserve the love we're given. And hopefully someday, I'll start to believe that too.
These past few years have kept us down with everything going on. But I'm not letting it stop me. This is my special 'fuck you' to the world that says I can't and shouldn't.
I'm going to live

Neil as a Raven is the most unsettling thing you could ever think of. He’s a guy who would stare a Lot. A silent stare. That butcher look that he wears? Yeah, that constantly. Some guy who plays with knives for fun and likes mind games.
And then you get him outside the Nest and he’s not only unsettling but super annoying and childish. He knows how to dress but purposely dresses terribly as a resistence against the Nest. Andrew would fall for him easily.

I just want to take a second to say that - regardless of what people think of the ending - it was incredibly ballsy of Neil Gaiman to take an ambiguous and inoffensively queer relationship that half the fandom denied existed, and make the romance and love between them so obviously canon. That kind of easily deniable queer relationship is common, and it was super refreshing to have an author actually be willing to alienate part of their audience in order to be true to the characters and take a definitive stance.
The fact that he managed to do that while still preserving that delicate tenderness everyone loved about them to begin with is everything I could’ve hoped for tbh.

listen I know it’s kind of corny and inaccurate to act like every single person in the dc universe knows each other and is besties but it IS endlessly funny to me to follow the web of connections and see how many degrees removed from each other everyone is.
like look at the arrowfam okay. ollie and dinah are together, ollie is homoerotic best friends with hal, dinah is homoerotic best friends with babs. roy is dating dick, has a kid with jade, and is basically an adoptive father to both grant emerson and rose wilson. connor is dating kyle and is constantly followed around by eddie fyers. mia is friends with a lot of the second gen teen titans kids, had an on-again-off-again thing going on with steph for a while, and is currently dating sienna. emiko is besties with courtney and some of the other recent teen titans. sin has a small army of protective aunts from the birds of prey. the real question is how far does it go before ollie puts a cap on the number of people who are invited to family brunch on sundays

Deacon def knows all the companions but as like another person.
That guy Hancock spent a day hanging around with that had the oddest pair of shades? Deacon. The humble merchant Danse asked for directions and sent him on his way? Deacon making sure the BoS wasn’t close to RR HQ. That rando heckler that would weirdly know how to personally throw Cait’s opponents off their game? Deacon.
It’s like he’s not intentionally following them, not all of them at least but he’s stumbled into some and decided to be a little mischievous. This goes doubly when if they already encountered the Soul Survivor and just hadn’t traveled with them yet.
