Teasing or Overstimulating - Part 2
Summary: Do they tease you or overstimulate you?
Characters: Ace, Sabo, Law, Kid
Genre: pure smut
CW: NSFW // oral sex, shameless dirty talk, sex toys, unprotected sex, service dom Ace, sadistic Sabo, daddy dom Law, feral Kid
âââÂ
Ace:Â
Not only is he going to overstimulate you, youâre going to thank him for it. He wishes those werenât the rules- really, he knows how hard it is for you, he can see you struggling to get the words out- but you have to be a good girl and thank him. Really, itâs for your own good. He knows your pussy is his, and he takes that responsibility seriously, and part of that is ensuring you have good manners when heâs inhaling your scent and tonguing your overstimulated clit, even if his manners went right out the window the second he got you out of your panties.Â
âItâs my fucking pussy, and Iâm gonna do whatever the fuck I want with it. Isnât that right? Donât say yeah, say yes sir.âÂ
Heâs a service dom, which means heâs already made you cum by the time heâs pulling out his thick, veiny cock. With the taste of your cunt still on his lips, heâll decide whether you need to be fucked slowly in missionary or bent over and railed mercilessly while he slaps your ass, and itâs lucky he does, because by the time heâs pushing that cock into you, you can barely string together a coherent thought. Â
âI know youâre tired, but you still have to say thank you, sir. Thatâs my good fucking girl. Just give me one more orgasm, and Iâll let you take my load.â
Sabo:Â
Heâs both a kinky little fucker and a bit of a sadist, which means he teases the hell out of you. Heâll tease you until youâre blue in the face, crying because you just need to cum so bad but you canât reach your clit in your restraints, and then heâll tease you a little more, twisting your aching nipples with a wicked grin and pointing out how wet you are.Â
âCome on, sweetheart. I havenât even touched your clit yet.â
Heâs notorious for pulling you around a corner or into a supply closet, shoving his long fingers into your panties, working you to the edge of orgasm, and making you suck his fingers clean before leaving you to recover, knowing full well youâll jump him as soon as you can get him alone- not that heâll be all that accommodating when you do. He also makes good use of the remote control vibrator he purchased, to the point that half of the RA thinks you have IBS for all the times you tense up and scurry out of a room.Â
But for all the times he does it on purpose, there are other times heâs not even aware that heâs doing it. He gets so pussy drunk with his head between your legs that heâs barely cognizant of your pleas. He just knows that your orgasm is the best part, and he wants to hold out as long as possible, because he swears your pussy tastes better when youâre sweating and panting. After slowly tonguing your clit for what feels like hours, stopping just short of letting you orgasm several times, heâll drag his head up and make eye contact, only to realize just how long heâs been torturing you.Â
âIâm sorry sweetheart, I lost track of time. Iâll make it better, I promise.âÂ
Law:Â
Yes, he teases you, but only because you deserve it, annoying brat that you are. You are, after all, teasing him constantly- the sway of your hips, the way you bend over in front of him, the knowing smile you give him when no one else is looking. What is a man to do if not punish you for it? And if youâre a nuisance about it, mouthing off and talking back even as your pussy aches for his cock, even better. Â
âIf only the others knew what an impudent little brat you are, how many spankings it takes from your Captain to keep you in line, how wet it makes you.â Â
His favorite is to tie you up, face down. Heâll make you count out loud as he spanks you, only stopping when you finally admit that you deserve it, and then heâll run his nose through your slit, relishing how wet you are and inhaling your scent but refusing to give you any relief until you say, âplease, daddy,â enough times. And when he does finally probe your clit with his tongue, heâs just as stingy with the pleasure he gives you.Â
âYou know what you have to say if you want to cum.âÂ
If youâve been extra bad, heâll punish you with a vibrator, keeping it on its lowest setting and only ramping up the power when youâve broken down and begged him to do it, shoving his cock into your dripping cunt to fuck you through your orgasm.Â
Kid:Â
Kidâs philosophy in life is simple: more is more. And that applies to your sex life, most definitely. He has an insanely high sex drive and turns into an absolute fiend if he doesnât get off everyday, and him getting off require you getting off, too, which means youâre in an almost constant state of overstimulation as this manâs cute little fuck bunny. Since you met him, you canât remember a single day that he left your clit alone.Â
âI donât care if you still have my cum in you from last time, youâre gonna take some more. We both know youâll cum when I give it to you.âÂ
Usually attacks you like a feral dog, squeezing your face in his powerful hand until you slap him away, chewing your nipples raw, jamming his tongue into your cunt and a finger or two up your ass, manhandling you however he pleases. And he doesnât shut up the entire time, either, goading you, making fun of you, even laughing at and making fun of you when you cum.Â
âHow the hell did you get off before you had me to make you cum, huh? Poor thing, youâre desperate for it.âÂ
Has tied you up and left you with a vibrator between your legs several times, and on these occasions, didnât come back and cuddle you. No, he came back and fucked you like heâd never see you again, twisting you up like a pretzel and pushing his entire, massive cock into your tight little hole until itâs as sore as your clit. Heâs had Killer and even Heat and Wire hold a vibrator to your clit before because youâre so cute when you cum he just has to share (though fucking you is his privilege).Â
âââ
Hope you enjoyed it! If you want more, you can check out my masterlist here!

I've been meaning to make this for a while now. Below is a compilation of my favorite Logan stories I've read--ones that have given me all the feels, made me kick my feet, cry with joy, weep with angst and all together delight my very soul. These are not in any particular order. If your story is tagged and you don't want it to be, please let me know and I'll remove it.
give me the first taste // @joelsgoldrush Synopsis: from the moment you first laid eyes on Logan, you knew he was a tough nut to crack. But if thereâs one thing you love, itâs a challenge. As your relationship grows, youâre determined to show him that, in this universe, he can also be loved. (Part 2 of Guilty Pleasure)
guilty pleasure // @joelsgoldrush Synopsis: After saving Earth-10005 from impending disaster, Wade convinces Logan, the alcoholic and easily irritated mutant, to stick around for a while. Heâs convinced that nothing good can come out of this experience, until he meets you: the charming bartender with a soft spot for swearing that matches his own. Suddenly, sticking around doesnât seem so bad after all.
crawl home to her // @joelsgoldrush Synopsis: Will he be able to control himself once he's near you? In this moment, he feels more animal than human. Creeping, on the verge of crawling, back to you. OR Like a sinner seeking absolution, he finds his way back to you after every absence, as if you're the only salvation he's ever known. (Part 2 of You Can Use My Skin to Bury Secrets In)
you can use my skin to bury secrets in // @joelsgoldrush Synopsis: Saliva floods his mouth as you rise to your feet, looking down at him from above. Gracefully angelic, and yetâ âI know what Iâm asking for,â you continue, your voice descending to a low murmur that scratches pleasantly against some dark and remote corner of his brain. Then you lower yourself onto his lap, your thighs bracketing his waist. You repeat your question: âCan I help you?â
blessed are the forgetful // @joelsgoldrush Synopsis: To love is to cherish, to endure, to fight. But to love is also to forgetâat least, for you and Logan. Despite countless attempts to erase the part of yourselves that yearns to find completion in each other, you always end up back where it all began: the moment your eyes first met hisâthe moment everything changed.
epiphany // @joelsgoldrush Synopsis: Superheroes and mutants werenât enough. Noâthe universe had to throw in soulmates who share scars. Fantastic, right? Except yours had vanished, only to mysteriously reappear with the arrival of a new face: the âWorstâ Logan Howlett, fresh from another earth.
never is a promise // @joelsgoldrush Synopsis: You are everything Logan isnât: sweet, trouble-free, much youngerâand, to top it off, Charles' caregiver.
give me all that ultraviolence // @joelsgoldrush Synopsis: You give Logan head for the first time.
sugar, sugar // @eupheme Synopsis: Your eccentric neighbor Wade may drive you a little up the wall⌠but, youâre willing to put up with him if it means heâll introduce you to his new, grumpy-looking roommate.
honey, honey // @eupheme Synopsis: Even after you wake up alone, and almost late for work, it doesnât deter your interest in your neighbor - especially after the night you shared. (Or - a miscommunication, and the following through of two late-night promises.)
you've got me wanting you // @eupheme Synopsis: As the days pass, you think your time spent with Logan is pretty much perfect. Well... almost. (Or - a dash of insecurity, some badgood advice from Wade, a near-fight at a bar, and the confession of overdue feelings.)
from eden // @eupheme Synopsis: Every day you wish you could do more. More for Charles. More for him. But the harsh sun eats away at you. You werenât built for this heat. You were meant for gardens. For Eden. But you think⌠as your fingers trail through the earth, your life force flowing down into the greenery below - if something can grow here, in the desert - then maybe, so can hope.
just the tip // @pedroscurls Synopsis: you're ready to take the next step with logan, but you're still a bit nervous.
smoke and ash // @moonlight-prose Synopsis: cigar smoke trailed after him with every step, his mouth always desperate for something to wet, something to bite down on. and you with the match between your teeth indulged him every which way.
cardinal // @danidrabbles Synopsis: At the edge of the world, someone from another keeps you from stepping off.
i could play the doctor (i can cure your disease) // @sceletaflores Synopsis: it's been another six months, and logan needs your help...
runaway bride // @pedroscurls Synopsis: on the day of your wedding, you find out that your maid of honor and husband-to-be has been hooking up behind your back... and you run directly into the arms of a stranger to help you cope with the sudden betrayal.
nameless as a river undiscovered underground // @moonlight-prose Synopsis: his leather jacket remained a tie between your love and his. the weight of it, the smell of your intertwined scents, all revolved around a relationship he never thought would happen.
soft and serene (let me feel you on my lips) // @sceletaflores Synopsis: logan's not a virgin by any means, but he's still wearing white...
beggin' for seconds // @yxtkiwiyxt Synopsis: You visit Logan at work when one of his colleague's sons gets injured and then he goes back to the hospital with you.
mirror sex // @avocado-writing Synopsis: Mirror Sex (Old Man Logan x Reader)
snow day // @silverskyeline Synopsis: logan hates the snow, hates that it reminds him of the past. but he soon finds that being with you gives it a whole new meaning.
dust to dust // @moonlight-prose Synopsis: when the days are long and he's grown weary of everything, he knows he can find his peace in your body. that is until he brings a whole new understanding to the belt buckle that sits proudly on his waist.
slippin' and slidin' all over you // @sceletaflores Synopsis: logan forgot to fix the ac...
new rules // @seventeenpins Synopsis: You've been broken up for long enough. It shouldn't be this hard to stay away.
knuckle velvet // @ohcaptains Synopsis: he walks you home, then lets himself in.
the devil and i // @mystra-midnight Synopsis: logan might have looked like an ordinary man, but the weight of his metal-laced bones pressing against your back was intoxicatingâdeliciously so. and he knew this with the same certainty with which he knew the earth revolved around the sun.

Trust Fall
Synopsis: Boothill loves eagles and wishes to mimic their courting ritual with you <3
Tags: Boothill x gn reader, Boothill's backstory mentioned, Pre-IPC boothill, Fluff, Humor, Light angst, Established relationship, courting rituals, Boothill is native american and latino a/n: This fic also has a bit more heavy usage of cowboy slang than all my other fics

The people of Aeragan-Espharshel had many different beliefs, each one spread through word of mouth from parent to child. From the burning hot sun that gave life to the organisms on the planet to the tiny, hard-working ants. There were stories and legends behind each and every single thing, each having their own little tidbit of wisdom to learn from. Nothing was too small or too big for the people believed that we play our own part in the cycle of life, no matter our size or role. These beliefs reflected the tribe that inhabited the planet and the respect and love they held for the land.
Naturally, itâs no surprise that there would be stories and beliefs surrounding the eagle, which was seen as the mightiest of all birds. Its feathers symbolized that which is highest, bravest, strongest and holiest. Eagles were the symbol for a warrior.
It must be why you could find the bird all across Boothillâs person. The eagle feathers in his cowboy hat, which he had once fondly told you to have found one day with his siblings whilst running through the grassy fields. The small eagle on his left shoulder, attached to the burnt red sarape that he had managed to salvage from that fateful night. The small eagle insignia on his favorite 9mm gun, one that he had commissioned to be made from brass. The eagle on the back of his leather jacket which he had carefully painted using bleach, having even added a little cowboy hat to the bird to match him. You can easily remember how eager he had been to show you his more artistic skills, at least when it came to drawing eagles.
Boothill had always admired eagles. It was one of the few aspects of him that remained from who he was before the bombing. Before everything had quite literally turned into ashes.
Him and his fellow gunslinging friends of the past would often sit by a fire at night and yarn the hours away. Boothill would be lying on the soft grass, chewing on a piece of straw, his expression thoughtful for once as heâd stare up at the vast universe up above.
âBee in yer bonnet, [REDACTED]?â One of them would always ask, having noticed the absence of his voice amongst the crude songs theyâd have started singing by then.
âJusâ thinkinâ...â, would be his short reply, followed by one or two or the whole bunch prodding at him to spill the beans.
âShare yer wisdom, why dontâcha, Oâ Great [REDACTED]â, theyâd all tease and the young cowboy would laugh along good-naturedly.
âWas jusâ thinkinâ that Iâd like to be one aâ them eagles up in the sky. Be as brave and courageous as them.â
âSee, this is why I tell yâall to keep an eye on him. Heâs an odd stick, ainâtcha [REDACTED]?â
But no matter how much his friends would tease him, Boothillâs admiration for eagles would never fade. Heâd look to the great birds of the sky whenever he felt at sea. An age old habit that would stick until he fulfilled his role in the cycle of life. Itâs what he did when the IPC had first arrived on his planet in their foreign and menacing spaceships, spouting off what he and countless others had thought to be taradiddles. Itâs what he had done when trying his damndest to keep the corporation away from disrespecting the soil he had grown up on. Itâs what Boothill does now when the weight of carrying out revenge gets too heavy for his shoulders, no matter whether they were flesh and bone or cold, hard metal.
Unsurprisingly, the man knew countless facts about these mighty birds. He had made sure to infodump about them when he took you bird-watching on planets that were similar to his home, thus housing the same or similar species of birds and the like. You were always curious and wishing to know more about your partner and his roots and who was he to deny you?
âSee that one right there? Thatâs a bald eagleâ, Boothill murmured softly one time against the shell of your ear once, pointing to the sky.
âHow can you tell all the way from down here?â You asked, squinting into the binoculars that you were holding in your hands.
âWell, sugar, itâs because of that white noggin of theirs. No other eagle got that same appearance.â
âDid ya know that the eagle sound you hear in Penaconyâs films ainât actually the sound they make?â, Boothill would continue, ready to tell you the same little factoids and stories that his parents had told him.
You listened while watching the eagle. WellâŚyou werenât really focused on following the birdâs movements anymore. You were too focused on how the cowboyâs voice had softened its usual gruffness and laced with the aching feeling of nostalgia and homesickness.
During such moments, you usually rarely interrupted the man. It was clear as day to anyone with functioning eyes how much this meant for him.
However, your eyes caught a change in the eagleâs movements and you let out a surprised gasp when you see another bald eagle locking its talons with the one you had been following. To your horror, the birds had begun hurdling down towards the hard ground below, spinning in some form of cartwheel.
âOh no! Are they fighting?â
Boothill looked questioningly at the sky, looking for what had caught your attention and chuckled fondly.
âNaw, donât worry darlinâ. That right there is what we call a death spiral. Itâs like a courting ritual. Think of it as a type of trust fall.â
âWhatâs the point? Wonât they get hurt?â
*I just said itâs a trust fall, didnât I?â An exasperated tone which quickly backtracked upon receiving a fierce glare from you.
âAs I was sayinâ... itâs a trust fall. That pair trusts each other to let go at the last second unless they wanna bite the dustâŚ.See?â
You had sighed with relief to see the bald eagles separating just before hitting the ground, quickly flying back up to the sky.
âThank goodness⌠You still havenât explained why they do it though?â
âItâs for courting each other. Eagles are one helluva adrenaline junkie. Sâpose they want a partner who can give âem that rush.â
The two eagles interlocked their talons once more, spinning once more in the air as they fell. You watched in awe while Boothill watched you carefully, an idea taking root in his mind.
âSayâŚI reckon we should give it a shot too, sugarâ, the man suggested and flashed you a toothy grin.
âAbsolutely not. Weâre not eagles, Boothillâ, you refused almost immediately.
âOh câmon sugar, have some faith in yer man!â
The two of you went back and forth on the matter before eventually forgetting about it. At least, that was the case on your part. Boothill on the other handâŚ
â
âYour bounty is complete. How would you like to land?â
â...Good question.â
In truth, Boothill wasnât too worried about the landing since he already could see you zooming towards him on an air-hover, ready to catch the cyborg. Oh, you were mad as a march hare alright.
âIâve told you time and time again to have a better plan for these things!â You nag at him, your pretty face contorted with exasperation.
âDonât get yer britches in a stir, sugar. I know what Iâm doinâ â, Boothill drawls, looking too carefree for someone who was free falling through the air.
âYou sure? âCause it sure as hell doesnât look like it!â You roll your eyes, following him down towards the ground on your hovercraft.
âI do, thank ya kindly. I got trust in you and mahself.â
âTake my hand then, you bag of bolts!â
âNot yet.â
It takes all your strength to not just up and leave the cowboy to fend for himself in such a situation but the thought of him potentially becoming a metal pancake stops you. You decide to trust his judgment, against your own better judgment. This wasnât your first rodeo after all.
The two of you speed towards the ground, Boothill simply leisurely holding onto his hat while you were locked in completely, waiting for his signal.
Just a few seconds before you two wouldâve crashed into the rock-hard ground below, Boothill whistles and with all your strength, you pull him onto your air-hover and promptly speed the vehicle back up into the sky once more.
âThis is the last time weâre doing thisâ, you sigh, wiping the sweat off your brow.
âCome now, lovely. Ya gots to admit that itâs fun!â Boothill grins as he wraps his strong arms around your waist and nuzzles his face against your neck. You grumble at his actions but leave him be, opting to savor his closeness instead.
âHavenât gotten your fill yet, lilâ eagle?â
âHow can I, when I trust yaâll catch me each time?â

Here i am giggling and kicking my feet over the idea of navy! reader being so at odds with the Tf 141 squad being army. (let's just imagine that they're either back to being cadets or they're visiting officers or part of an older class.)
You, a newly enrolled student at the Navy Academy, quickly got the attention of the four while they were stationed at the nearby army base (quite literally in the same area-- considered as close neighbors to the academy who are quite often at each others throats) for having already oustanding records as just a plebe.
And they wanted to recruit you to their lil' party troupe over at the army. (More like kidnapped 'cause they could use you more effectively at the army compared to the muppets and hooligans they ended up training and getting into their squadrons.)
But as they try coercing you at first, you firmly deny them- despite them holding authority over you and can get transferred with the amount of strings they can pull to make it happen, but they don't.
Because they want to see you do it willingly.
You, on the other hand, simply take it as another challenge to "BEAT ARMY" at every opportune moment. To see them crushed beneath the feet of someone who had trained for this very moment in your life-- and you're not just going to let that one chance go in place for canoodling with a bunch of silly army soldiers.
And seeing the fire of contest in your eyes made them accept your challenge, that-- until the day of your graduation-- whoever has the most points by that time, you would either stay in the Navy or work for them and their squad in the army.
Oh, just imagine the amount of unnecessary squabbles that would get you in trouble for by sneaking over to their academy and dorm room (and vice versa) to settle disputes in either card games, gun ranges, push-up counts, and many more-- basically making a competition out of everything.
You canonically have an on-going scoreboard that you update quite frequently like its a spreadsheet. Detailing everything from status reports of how, "MacTavish was so off his game today that he was a millimeter off from beating me at the sniper range" to "Beat the old man at his own game of mental 4D chess."
Even though you're at even odds against each other on land, on water on the other hand-- its quite a staggering difference.
With the record holding 20-4, you'd think they'd try for different events but no-- they're determined, undeterred at the thought of beating you at your own game.
Until Soap gets caught in a sail, gets hauled up, and is hanging by the sails-- and they swear off those competitions for a while.
Though when it comes to the fitness ones, somehow you always come short of winning with a close score of 30-28, with you up by two for the recent ones at the obstacle course at the Navy Academy. You had homecourt advantage but that never mattered between you five-- what mattered, was that Gaz tripped up at the last moment and fell to his demise on a rope because of the lack of grip from the mud crawling section of the course.
Even then, you were only seconds off from winning-- and of course you had to let them know by bring out your friends from the band, to stroll and march as you exited in style, leaving them more amused than disappointed really.
Who's to say that they don't mess with you as your- technically higher ranking- superiors?
They'll definitely call you out more when it comes to Navy-Army joint training sessions, or handle some of classes in combat or weapons handling.
They are definitely abusing their powers by pulling you out of your classes just to drag you into their silly competitions, which makes your workload stack and you even more determined to slam them to the ground in the gym, with the goal to grapple and flip the opponent first.
They don't feel bad at all, not when they can tease and play with their favorite underclassmen. They honestly just can't wait for you to be in the field with them, and with all this chemistry-- they already had plans for creating the perfect spot for you in their team.
You slotted into their dynamics so well that most of your classmates and other superiors wonder too on why don't the Tf 141 just adopt you already?
Well, because you're insistent in your goal-- and they respect that, though by doing so in challenges to see if you really, truly are committed to it. Elsewise, they would just pick you up and take care of you themselves.
All these hijinks and somehow, you forgot the true purpose behind them--
And TF 141 never forgets to fill in their end of a bargain. So watch out and make sure those scores tally in your favor~
Masterlist for my other works here ! Inspos that I just happened to watch on my feed here! From Sam Eckholm's YT on: -What's Inside the US Naval Academy -What's Inside the Air Force Academy

Concert Date Headcanons
Sure, being a pro hero (or villain) keeps everyone busy but that doesn't mean you won't have some time for fun.
Here are some concert dates feat: Kyoka Jiro, Katsuki Bakugo, Hitoshi Shinso, Izuku Midoriya, Eijiro Kirishima, Denki Kaminari, Shouto Todoroki, Mina Ashido, Ochaco Uraraka, Rumi Usagiyama (Mirko), Touya Todoroki (Dabi), Shuichi Iguchi (Spinner), Tomura Shigaraki, Himiko Toga, Shota Aizawa
(a few of these feel like friend dates to me, some not so much - take them however you want to.)
Jiro
She's in the band. You're watching from side stage, she'll run over to give you quick kisses in the longer breaks between songs and makes faces/inside joke references to you.
You're probably seeing her band, but If it's not a show she's performing in she likely knows the other musicians so you're still watching from side stage.
Bakugo
You know those couples where one is completely wrapped around the other? That's him. He's standing behind you, arms locked around you. Contrary to what you think, he won't completely freak out if anyone bumps into you guys (maybe when he was younger but heâs been to enough shows by now to know what to expect.) However, if someone's being overly aggressive or creepy he'll definitely step in. He'd never say but he's as excited as you are to see your favorite band.Â
What are you seeing? Metal. Screamo. The harder, the better.
Shinso
You're in the back of room. If you weren't there, his arms would be crossed in front of him. But, since you're there he'll hold your hand or wrap an arm around your shoulder.
What are you seeing? His musical tastes vary so it could be nearly anything. He likes when you pick though because it's cute when you're excited.
Midoriya
He knows allll the band lore, every song meaning, and has his own interpretations. He'll tell you all of this too. He doesn't just want to be in the front, no. He needs to be in front. You're leaving with three guitar pics and a set list.Â
What are you seeing? Probably pop punk but he really likes some older bands too.
Kirishima
Need someone to lift you crowd surfing? That's Kiri. He'll also put you on his shoulders if you can't see.Â
What are you seeing? Something tells me he likes dad rock.
Kaminari
Sure. you're in public and surrounded in people but he won't stop making out with you. You're that couple now.
What are you seeing? Who cares, you aren't paying attention. (sorry you spent so much on my chem tickets when you didn't even watch the show.)
Shouto Todoroki
He loves dancing. It's canon. Poor dude didn't even know what a concert was until he was a teenager, so he'd like to experience as much of this as possible. He probably still has a ton of questions and wants to stand/sit everywhere in the venue to figure out where he likes best. Until then, he'll follow your lead.
What are you seeing? Any music. Literally anything. You'll probably have to pick. He particularly likes bands with angry at your dad lyrics though.
Mina
She is also dancing, but a bit more skilled. She doesn't mind teaching you some moves though!Â
What are you seeing? Anything you can move to. this includes interpretive dance, the two of you are not above dancing to classical or soundtrack music.
Ochaco
You're crowd surfing together, holding hands. It's cute.**
What are you seeing? Probably pop punk/indie pop. Maybe Beebadoobee or Jiro's band.
(**author's note: please don't actually do this - i tried this with a girl once and it's not as cute irl/doesn't work. with her quirk maybe it could though!)
Mirko
She just dragged you into the mosh pit. How does she still have so much energy after fighting villains all day?? She get's it though and is more than happy to pull you to another part of the crowd whenever you're tired or it's too much.
What are you seeing? Preferably riot grrrl music, but she'll see anything you can mosh to.
Dabi
He's also in the mosh pit. However, he probably dumped his jacket and all of his belongings off on you. But don't worry, in exchange for being his personal coat check he'll buy you a shirt after.
What are you seeing? Something hardcore, probably dad angst lyrics too.
Spinner
He's standing off to the side. He doesn't really want to be shoved, he just wants to drink his beer in peace and watch the show. Don't worry though, he's more than happy to be included. You can come and go as long as you check in, he's not clingy.
What are you seeing? Anything with a good beat.
Shigaraki
He's a little clingy. In a cute way though. You can go wherever, he'll follow. Crowds don't really bother him. He's probably not dancing/jumping/etc as much as you but he's still enjoying himself. Unless it's a show he specifically picked, there's a chance he's watching you more than the band.
What are you seeing? Whatever you want. Or ambient weird shit if you let him pick (Aphex Twin, SUNN 0))), etc.)
Toga
She is in front, jumping up and down excitedly. You had a countdown. You waited in line all day. Now you're here! Is she plotting how to bite the singer and take some of their blood? Absolutely. But she's having so much fun and she doesn't get to very often so please take care of her.
What are you seeing? Anything with a lot of energy! Probably Poppy.
Aizawa
Is there a balcony? Are there seats? Yeah, he's definitely finding them. You turn to ask him a question and wait, he fell asleep?? It's a metal show. How tf?

Hello hello Saiiii!!!
I have a book recommendation for Conan <3
I had a few Conan related questions, feel free to skip any that you think may contain spoilers-
1) After thinking about it long, I wanted to ask, At what age did Conan marry his wife? Can we get some vague hints about his early lifeâŚor his life with his wife?
2) Does Conan have an Irish accent?
3) Does he have distant/ close family members?
4) Apart from Elanor and Angel has Conan had any one on one interactions with the other cast members? If he has what does he think of them?
5) Has Conan ever dyed his hair in the past? If he ever decides to dye his hair now what color will it be?
6) I SWEAR this is the last one ;-; â His favorite song/ song that makes him sentimental.
Thank you in advance!!!
Have a great day/ evening Saiđ
ââĽâ CONAAAAN!! I can answer most of these since they aren't spoilers :3
Conan met and married his late wife in his early twenties. He wasn't all that interested in the idea of marriage at the time, but his wife was the only woman that he truly cared for â and she was extremely enthusiastic about the prospect of having a family of her own â so he was willing to settle down for her. Seeing her happy made him happy.
In my mind, Conan does have a noticeable Irish accent, though he doesn't really use any Irish slang(?) when he talks.
He does have family living outside of Corland Bay!! Though Conan isn't really that close with any of them, he doesn't try to keep in contact with them either.
In my head and in my heart Conan and Jae have interacted more than a few times. I like to think that Jae applied to do volunteer work at the library (and secretly hoped he did a good enough job for Conan to hire + actually pay him), but unfortunately, it's not canon T_T So outside of Elanor and Angel, Conan has never interacted with the other characters. (Unless you want to count Violet renting out a book and Conan saying "thank you" or something sjsdgsj)
Conan has never dyed his hair. However, he has used those obnoxious glitter sprays at Alice's behest!!
The "hehe haha" part of me wants to say that Conan listens to Divorced Dad music (like "Lips Of An Angel" or "How You Remind Me"), but canonically, he'd probably listen to the mainstream pop songs that his daughter plays on the radio.
As for a song that makes him sentimental, Conan probably heard "I'll Still Have Me" by Cyn playing from the TV once and had to hide in the pantry for a quick Sob Session ghjsdj

đ¸ out of my mind ! đż track three: something about a beat
guitarist!ino x drummer!reader
summary: it's the annual battle of the bands at the fix, your college campus's iconic live music bar, and this year you're taking the stage as the drummer for indie rock group cursed technique. you know the competition is strong, but no part of you is ready for lead singer and guitarist takuma ino. you lock eyes at the edge of the stage, and something startsâsomething that might make you feel alive even more than the beat of the drums.
warnings: language, hopeless stupid pining, alcohol, mentions of deceased parent, maki is Fed Up, anxiety, unbearably cute dogs. || sfw. 9k words.
âOKAY, ITâS UP,â Nobara says, grinning at you over her laptop. Youâre sprawled across the living room at Takumaâs place, surrounded by a random combination of your band and his while others are in classes. After spending last night mixing the single, Takuma helped Nobara set up an artist profile for the band, and now your music is available on streaming services. Just like that.
âThatâs so weird,â you say, grinning as you pull up Spotify on your phone. Next Fix by Cursed Technique. Strange to see your face on there, a photo taken of all of you by some freshman when you last performed at The Fix. Nobara sends the link in your group chat, and Toge responds within seconds.
freak no. 1:Â FAME freak no. 1:Â FORTUNE freak no. 1:Â wait itâs not opening freak no. 1:Â nvm iâm just stupid
âDoes he ever pay attention in class?â Nobara mutters. Maki snorts.
Yuta is also in class, but that means heâs locked in, all his devices on Do Not Disturb. You donât think Togeâs turned DND on a single time in his life.
âIâm going to Kinjiâs!â Kirara shouts from the front entryway, and Yuji leaps to his feet and disappears down the hall, barreling back out of his room seconds later.
âWait! Can you give this to Panda while youâre there?â He hands her a drive, and Kirara rolls her eyes and takes it.
âYou need to slow down every once in a while,â she says, ruffling Yujiâs hair. âOkay, bye. Iâll be back in a few hours.â The dogs follow her to the door and return the living room when sheâs gone, curling up on either side of Megumi, whoâs busy writing some paper in the corner.
âWhat was that?â Nobara asks.
âDemo drive for the radio station,â Takuma says. âPanda plays our stuff sometimes. I bet heâd play yours, too.â
âThatâd be sick,â Nobara says approvingly. She turns to bother Megumi, poking at him until he takes his headphones off and talks to her, and Yuji strolls into the room and flops down directly on the floor.
âComfy?â you ask, poking him with a socked foot.
âMm. Yeah.â
âAh, look what you did, Kugisaki,â Megumi says, and you look up to see Shiro trotting toward you with her tail wagging, having abandoned her post at her ownerâs side.
âThat was not my fault! Youâre the one who moved.â
âBecause you kept poking me!â
You immediately slide off the couch onto the floor, letting Shiro sit in your lap. âUm, excuse me,â Takuma says, offended. You crane your neck to look up at him behind you on the couch. His face is lit up by his computer as he works on a string of code he tried (and failed) to explain to you, and thereâs laughter in his eyes despite the affronted tone of his voice.
âFavorite,â you inform him with a wide, cheeky smile. He very maturely sticks his tongue out at you.
âToge message,â Nobara informs you all, reading off her phone. âHe says omg we have four listeners do you think theyâre writing slutty fanfiction about us already.â She glances at you. âPetition to remove him from the chatâoh, look, he started sending the wolf memes again.â
Hanging out like this has become natural so quickly you almost forget you havenât been friends with Shibuya Incident for ages. You feel almost as much at home in the tapestry-covered living room here as you do in the plant-filled kitchen of your own house down the street.
Maki checks her watch, sighing. âWe should get going soon. The guys will be back in half an hour.â Then you have rehearsal, even though youâre not one of the three bands performing tomorrow night. When you do take the stage next week, you want to be ready.
Nobara is trying to read Megumiâs texts over his shoulder, which isnât working out well for her, and he tells Maki, âYes, please, take your invasive little gremlin home.â He puts his hand right on Nobaraâs face and pushes her away, and she screeches and tries to tackle him, but heâs already sitting in a beanbag chair in the corner, so it doesnât really do much except make Kuro jump on top of them both.
You glance up at Takuma again, still stroking Shiroâs fur while the others start to stand, ready to head home. âYou rehearsing today too?â
âIâd hope so,â he shrugs.
âYes, dipshit, in two hours. If you ever read the group chat,â Megumi says.
Takuma doesnât seem fazed by Megumiâs irritation and just shrugs. âWe have a new song for tomorrow.â
âYou didnât tell me!â You poke at his knee in retribution for his secrecy. âI wanna hear it!â
âYou will,â he says. âTomorrow.â
âSkipper, help, I donât wanna walk our gremlin home by myself,â Maki calls from the door, and you reluctantly pat Shiro on the head and stand. She follows you to the entryway and sniffs at you while you cram your feet into your sneakers.
âMaki Zenin.â Nobara turns up her nose and crosses her arms over her chest. âIf you hated me so much, why didnât you just say so?â
âBye!â Yuji shouts from the living room, and you all call out varying goodbyes and noncommittal sounds before making your way out the door and down the block, the afternoon air chilly against your cheeks.
Nobara waits all of ten seconds before spinning around and walking backward, grinning at you mischievously. âI bet Ino wrote a song about you.â
âOh my god. Shut up,â you laugh. âHe didnât.â You canât imagine youâve given him all that much to work with. What would he write, that you like coffee and drums and Megumiâs dogs?
âWhy else wouldnât he show you? Donât you guys text each other song lyrics like the little romantic fucks you are?â Your face is flaming, and youâre suddenly very grateful for the cool of the wind against your skin. The idea of him writing a song about you plants something weird in your gutânot something bad, just something unexpected and warm and blooming.
You try not to show it and your friends see right through you, Nobara turning back to skip up the drive with a satisfied grin and Maki rolling her eyes at the both of you.
âIâm gonna write a song, too,â Nobara declares, unlocking the door and pushing her way inside. âSkipper and Ino, sitting in a tree. K-I-S-Sââ
This time, you and Maki speak in tandem. âShut up!â
â
âThereâs a joke here,â Gojo says, tapping both of his index fingers together while he thinks. âAbout being a drummer and a journalist. Something about a beat.â
You laugh, jotting another note on the lined paper of your small spiral notebook. âI hate to tell you, but Iâve heard that one before.â
Youâre not sure features qualifies as a specific beat, more of a broad category, but your staff isnât nearly large enough to assign people to smaller specialties. Plus, itâs a college publication, designed for experimentation and growth. Nobody wants to be boxed in yet. Thatâll come later, out in the monotony of the real world, and youâll be confined to some hyperspecific beat like neighborhood crime or high school basketball.
âNo!â Gojo cries, dragging his hands down his face like itâs the end of the world. âI canât believe somebody plagiarized me before I even said it.â
âThatâs not how that works,â Utahime cuts in dryly, sliding three shots across the counter to the waiting group of sophomores and then effortlessly throwing together another cocktail.
Gojo leans toward you, shadowing out your notes, and stage-whispers, âYou see what I have to put up with?â
You do, actually, see what Utahime has to put up with. She long ago put down a line of blue painterâs tape to divide her side of the bar from Gojoâs, and she preaches frequently that there will be dire consequences if he crosses it.
Of course, he crosses it at every opportunity, and here he is, still.
Itâs also just how the two bartenders split up the work, the customers, and you write that down too, that itâs an effective division of labor. âDonât read my notes,â you tell Gojo as he squints at your writing upside down. âItâll wreck the journalistic integrity.â He sticks out his bottom lip in a pout that reminds you violently of Toge, whoâs taking photos of Utahime as she works.
You glance over to the stage, where Angel is performing the last number of her set, a bouncy, belty song that you recognize from a video she posted earlier this week. The crowd loves it, dancing around and singing along, but still, you think sheâll have a tougher time making it through as the only solo artist remaining in the competition.
You whoop and cheer as she hits her last note, holding it for an ungodly amount of time, and Gojo eventually has to abandon his teasing to do his job. When Toge thinks heâs got enough photos, the two of you slip back into the crowd, Panda commentating on the change of artist as you catch up to your friends.
âAnd now, hereâs your alt rock duo, your boys, the Kamos,â he says as you come to a stop beside Yuta. âGive it up!â
Nobara very loudly gives it up.
âHi.â Yuta nudges you. âHowâs the reporting going?â
âGood.â Noritoshi and Choso settle in on stage, tuning their guitar and bass and making girls swoon in the front row but somehow remaining entirely oblivious to it. âYouâre not going home tomorrow, right?â
Yuta shakes his head. This weekend is fall break, which just means that there were no classes today. You spent the first day of your three-day weekend cramming for midterms.
Togeâs heading out after this and Nobara will leave early in the morning, but Maki and Yuta will be here for the weekend. You wonder about Takuma and his band, but you canât ask right nowâtheyâre all backstage, waiting to go on after the Kamos.
The boys in question, when theyâre not doing covers, have incredibly nonsensical song names that have little to nothing to do with their lyrics. The first track of theirs you ever heard was called Song About the Time My Dog Got Lost for Three Hours.
âOkay,â Choso says after their cover of a song by The Smiths. âThis oneâs called Please Donât Tell Your Mom I Was At Your House Past Curfew.â
He and Noritoshi then proceed to play the most upbeat, energizing alt rock shit youâve ever heard. You love these guys, and the crowd does too, the way they donât take themselves too seriously but theyâre genuinely talented. But itâs making you nervous for Takuma and his band, because only one group goes on tonight. Only one.
No, you think, shrugging it off. They got this.
When Shibuya Incident finally walks on stage, the ensuing roar of applause before they even do anything eases whatever worries you might have had. They were slotted at the end of tonightâs set for a reason. Everyone loves them.
Without prelude, they launch into a song you recognize from their EP, a fast-paced track with a pretty simple chord progression that gets entirely flipped on its head in the bridge. You let Yuta spin you around as you dance with the rest of the crowd, the lights and sound washing over you. Yujiâs in his element, Kirara is fucking killing it, and Megumiâas alwaysâis the rock the band stands on, unerring tempo and steady presence keeping everyone on track.
After the song finishes with a crazy riff from Kirara, and the crowd takes a minute to freak out and then slowly wind down, Takuma grabs the mic to address the audience.
âHi again,â he says, scanning the clusters of people from his place on the low stage. His gaze lands on you and your friends, and he smiles a little wider. âThat was Godspeed. Weâre gonna slow it down a bit for our next song. Itâs a new one. Weâre calling it Curious.â
Nobara practically launches herself over Toge to get to you and shake you by the shoulders. âWhat did I say?â she hisses.
âOh my god,â you say, shoving her off. âThey havenât even started yet.â But you look back at Takuma to find he hasnât stopped looking at you.
To your surprise, the instrumentals donât start first. Most of Shibuya Incidentâs music opens with a riff or a fill or at least four bars of introduction. But this time, Takuma leans into the mic and starts singing, just a low âooooh,â and the rest of the band comes in one by oneâMegumi, then Kirara, then Yuji. Kiraraâs harmonizing on a higher note, and the effect is a slow, dissonant build that makes you lock in, all anticipation.
Then Takuma tugs the mic from the stand and sings,âI see your eyes, curious, curious, you wanna know why the skyâs so goddamn blue. I hear your voice, curious, curious, youâre asking me if Iâd ever fall for you.â
And as you listen, Nobaraâs smile just gets wider and wider, and Takuma keeps making fleeting eye contact with you, and you realize abruptly that she was right.
This song is about you.
Takumaâs said it to you before, in passing, how he likes the way you look at the worldâthrough a journalistâs lens, curious about how everything works, always searching for unseen answers.
âWish I could see my life like you do,â he and Kirara sing in unison. âWish I could walk the streets each night⌠wonderinâ if the full moon sees you, but I just keep lookinâ, lookinâ down at the time.â
Youâre transfixed, just like the first night you saw Takuma perform live, and you couldnât tear your eyes away from the stage if you tried. Someone should write a story about him, you think. This man could be on the cover of Rolling Stone and you wouldnât question it.
God, youâre so far gone, arenât you?
When the set is over, the last song finishing with a long, drawn-out chord, Takuma thanks the crowd and hands the mic off to Panda to take over. As the band disappears one by one into the backstage area, he lays out the voting process.
âThe voting period will last ten minutes, assuming no technical difficulties,â he says. âQR codes, as usual, are posted around the bar. If youâre a competitor, you canât vote. Make sure youâre logged into your .edu accounts or you wonât be able to access the formâŚâ
Your fingers are tapping nervously at your thighs, the crowd around you already glued to their phone screens. The band isnât back out on the floor yetâPanda will call all three artists up at the end of the voting period and announce the finalist live.
Sweat is starting to pool in the palms of your clammy hands, and you wipe it on your jeans, anxious. To you, thereâs no question. But itâs not up to you.
âRelax,â Yuta says, putting a reassuring hand on your shoulder. âIt wonât even be close, Skip.â
After the longest ten minutes of your life, Hana Kurusu, the Kamos, and Shibuya Incident join Panda back on stage, a dramatic spotlight bouncing between each artist as Panda draws out the announcement. âAnd the artist from tonight moving on to the finals in two weeks isâŚâ
âJust say it,â Maki huffs beside you, and Yuta chuckles and nudges her with a shoulder. She tries to hide the slight upturn of her lips, but thatâs not going to slide past you.
Youâll tease her later. For nowâ
âShibuya Incident!â
The reaction is explosive, both on the floor and the stage. Yuji practically leaps onto Kiraraâs back, and Takumaâs face goes slack in surprise before a shy smile works its way across his spotlit features, Megumi being his nonchalant, unaffected self in the midst of it all. Nobara is screaming, and youâre yelling at the top of your lungs, Toge whooping and snapping photos as the Kamos and Hana crowd the band, congratulating them on the victory.
Takuma looks out into the crowd again and you wave, smiling unabashedly, so fucking proud and excited and thinking maybe, maybe, if you make it too, youâll be facing off against each other, and wouldnât that be something?
Maybe you shouldnât be so thrilled. Heâs the competition, after all.
But if he wins for going up there and singing curious, curious with his eyes locked on yours, you suppose it wouldnât be all that bad.
â
Most of Saturday passes in a barrage of classwork and inconsistent, snacky meals in between, the diet of a harried college student, ramen and chips and whatever actual food Yuta leaves for you in the fridge. Heâs back from work by three, and Maki wraps up her own work around the same time you do, late afternoon creeping into evening. The three of you are curled up in the living room, the TV on while Yuta and Maki try to pretend theyâre not looking at each other.
You need to get them alone.
you:Â are you busy takuma:Â not at all takuma:Â whatâs up? you:Â mind if i crash your house?
You glance up and swear Yuta has somehow, in the last two seconds, moved closer to Maki on the couch.
you:Â i think yuta and maki need some ~ALONE TIME~ takuma:Â TEA takuma:Â sorry kirara told me to stop saying that in response to everything that happens ever takuma:Â itâs fun tho
âIâm going to Takumaâs,â you announce, and Maki raises a brow at you.
âAgain?â
âSue me for having friends.â
Yutaâs brows crease a bit at the word friends, but he doesnât comment. With a furtive glance back, you grab your shoes and slip out the door, successfully leaving Maki and Yuta alone in the house for an indeterminate amount of time.
Please, you think. One of them has to make a fucking move soon.
Takuma answers the door before you can knock. âHey.â
âNo pups today?â you ask as you step past him into the entryway, kicking off your shoes.
âSadly,â Takuma says. âFushiguro took âem with him, wherever he went. Ah, man. Did you only come over for them?â His tone is teasing as he closes the front door behind you, trading the October cold for the warmth of the house. âAfraid Iâm a letdown.â
âTakuma,â you scold at his self-deprecation. âYouâre basically an excited puppy yourself, soââ
âHey!â he squawks, and then thinks about it and tilts his head, conceding. âFine. Maybe. Yeah, okay.â
âWhat have you been up to?â you ask as the two of you make your way to the living room.
âProcrastination. Guitar instead of homework, mostly. You?â
âSame,â you sigh. âWell, not the guitar part. But I should have been way further ahead on my homework by now.â You shrug. Youâll get it done; you always do.
You settle in easily on the couch, and the two of you boot up the Wii and play a few rounds of Mario Kart because someone left the disc in. And when youâve both beaten each other enough times to lose count, Takuma mentions something about your single and you realize you havenât checked the stats.
âYou can see more on a computer,â he says, and you follow him up to his room, where he cedes control of the device to you. You pull up the artist profile and grin at the steady upward climb of listeners. Itâs not a ton, but this only went up on Thursday.
âWe havenât even done anything to promote this,â you admit, spinning in Takumaâs desk chair to face him. âI donât even know how people are finding it.â
He immediately looks down, which means he knows something. You nudge him with your foot. âWhat? What does that face mean? Takuma.â
âI maybe gave Panda a drive of the mix,â he shrugs, talking fast like the meaning of the words might elude you if he mumbles enough. âAnd he maybe played it at the radio station earlier today. Several times.â
A wave of affection crashes into you so fast that you jump up and throw your arms around him without thinking, laughing into his shoulder. âYou didnât have to do that!â You pull back, grinning. âThat was really sweet. Thank you. Seriously.â
âAh, it was nothinâ.â He reaches up to scratch at the back of his neck, a gesture youâve come to recognize as self-conscious.
âNot nothing,â you say softly. He smiles.
After a moment, he glances at the window and seems to come to a decision. âHey,â he says.
âHey yourself.â
âWanna go out on the roof?â
You blink, processing the words, instinctively looking to his window. Youâve never really realized it before, but it opens out onto a flat expanse of shingles, a perfect lookout right outside Takumaâs bedroom.
Your grin is answer enough, and he unlatches the window and pulls it open. He glances back at you, up and down, and you feel yourself blush before you realize heâs taking in what youâre wearing. He grabs a thick jacket from the closet and tosses it to you, then shrugs one on himself and leads the way, gripping the window frame with one hand and pulling himself outside. After a moment of consideration, he reaches back in and grabs his acoustic guitar by the neck from its place against the wall, pulling it out with him.
When the window shuts behind you, youâre immediately grateful for the protection of the extra layer. Even with your hands balled in the sleeves of your hoodie, itâs chilly out here.
Youâre surprised by how much of the campus you can see spread out in the distance. Itâs early evening, but the days are getting shorter, the sun a misleading blaze of heat in the otherwise cold hour.
âThis,â you say, âis fucking awesome.â
âRight? I called dibs on the room as soon as we toured. For this.â He grins, leaning back on his palms, legs spread out in front of him. You lie back on the roof, letting the cool surface seep through your hood, staring up at the sky.
âSo Maki and Yuta,â he says, shaking his head fondly. âAre they finally a thing?â
âI donât know, but if theyâre gonna do anything about it, itâs not gonna be while anyone else is home.â You shrug, or at least do whatever approximation of shrugging you can when youâre bundled in a bulky hoodie and jacket and lying on a roof.
Honestly, Yuta and Maki are some of your favorite people on this planet, and you canât imagine anyone else who really deserves them. Theyâre the de facto mom and dad of your groupâas in, Yuta is the band mom and Makiâs the gruff father who wonât admit his affection for the pet he didnât want to get but ended up loving anyway.
âMan, Iâm glad I wasnât around when Kirara and Hakari were in their pining phase,â Takuma chuckles. He pulls his legs in, sitting cross-legged, and picks up the guitar, idly tuning it as he speaks. âThen thereâs Itadori, probably picks up girls everywhere he goes and has never once realized it.â
âWhat about Megumi?â You let your head loll to the side, looking at Takuma with the guitar settled in his lap.
âFushiguro? I donât know, man, he doesnât tell us anything. He has like, resting yearning face. Iâve got no idea. I donât even know where he is right now, just that heâs supposed to be back really late.â
âThat means the dogs will be back?â you say hopefully.
Takuma shakes his head, strumming another chord, and another, fingers moving deftly across the frets. âIâm not enough for you, huh?â
âI said no such thing.â
He plucks out a happy little melody on the guitar, looking at you. âWanna learn?â
You sit up, your hood falling back off your head in the process. âReally?â
In answer, he hands you the guitar, scooting closer to you to show you where to place your fingers. Youâve been around your bandmates enough to know the basics, but you let him teach you anyway, giggling a little when he guides you through a three-chord progression and says, âDamn, youâre a natural.â
He leans back and stares at the sky, listening to you play. Eventually you add a few other basic chords into the mix, varying your strumming patterns, already feeling the strain in your fingertips from the unfamiliar press of the strings.
âSo,â you say, still idly messing around on a G chord. Takuma props himself up on his elbows, looking over at you. âWhat was the incident in Shibuya? Have you been to Shibuya?â
He snorts. âNope. Honestly, it was more to make people ask the question. You know in the Marvel movies, how Hawkeye and Black Widow are always talking about Budapest?â
âAnd nobody knows what the hell happened there,â you say, laughing. âAh. I see.â
âIâve never even been to Japan,â Takuma admits. âFushiguro has, though. Maybe he had an incident in Shibuya. Who knows?â
G, C, D. D, C, G. You play the chords over and over, strumming softly, slowly, letting your finger catch on each of the strings, then five of them, then four.
âThis is a really nice guitar.â
âYeah.â Thereâs a beat of silence that makes you glance up, weighted differently than the usual pauses in conversation. Takuma is sitting up now, knees pulled loosely to his chest. âWas my dadâs.â
âHe taught you to play,â you remember aloud, recalling your conversation in the coffee shop. But now youâre hung up on that word: was. Part of you doesnât want to ask, but part of you feels like his words are a sort of quiet invitation, like he wants to tell you, but doesnât want to force it. âI⌠is heâŚ?â
âHe died when I was twelve,â Takuma admits, eyes fixed on the sky. âUh, car accident. It was stupid, some issue with the other guyâs car. Couldnât stop it.â Youâve never heard his voice like this before, taut, oddly thin. Carefully, gently, you set the guitar on the roof beside you, watching him.
âWere youâŚâ
âIn the car?â Takuma sniffs. âAh. Yeah.â
âOh,â you breathe, and thatâs what it is, more of a breath than a word. âIâTakumaâŚâ
When he laughs, thereâs no humor in it. Itâs a hollow kind of chuckle, one that says everything he canât. âItâs why I learned to skate, actually,â he says quietly, not meeting your eyes. âIâd get everywhere that way. I didnâtâwant to drive, I guess. Got my license late and everything. I think people thought I was just a slacker.â
Whatever words you might scrounge up feel inadequate for a grief this large. You donât want to pity him, and you donât want to dismiss him, and thatâs always the problem with hard conversations, isnât it? What a line to walk.
âYouâre not a slacker,â you say eventually, and he raises a brow at you. âI mean, maybe you procrastinate coding projects to a worrying extent, but you always get it done.â You smile thinly. âYou donât give up in any way that matters, Takuma. I like that about you.â
He chuckles. âNanami said something like that, once.â His eyes go far-away again, just for a second. âHeâs kind of the closest thing⌠like⌠I donât know. Iâve known Nanami for a really long time. He was my dadâs friend. And I guess he sort of became a father figure, afterâŚâ
He shrugs. âItâs probably a big part of why I decided to go here. That, and itâs not too far from my momâs. I donât know that sheâd have been thrilled if I went somewhere farther.â
âYouâre not home,â you say carefully, a question but not question. âFor break?â
âSheâs on a business trip,â he says. âSo not much point. But Iâll see her at Christmas, at least.â
For a while the silence stretches out comfortably between you, like a weighted blanket. You canât ignore it, but it isnât unwelcome. At some point you scooted closer to him, and now you sit side by side, only the layers of your jackets separating you.
âThank you for telling me,â you say eventually, soft, unwilling to break the quiet. He nods.
âYou didnât go home either,â he points out, an unspoken question in the spaces between words. âIs it just âcause youâre from so far away, orâŚâ
âYeah. A Friday off didnât feel like enough of a break to warrant a flight back.â But thatâs not all of it. His silence tells you he knows it, too. Heâs been so candid with you all night. You can share this part of yourself, you decide.
Thereâs something about Takuma, anyway, that makes you want to tell him things. You want to know him, and you want him to know youâyou now, here, at school, but also you there, home, in the past.
âI havenât been home since July,â you admit, hugging your knees to your chest, mirroring him. âMy town is⌠small. I liked it when I was little. But the older I got the more I started to feel, justâI donât know, stifled?â
Your hometown used to feel huge, like you could explore it forever on your Razor scooter and never find all its secrets. But you grew, and the town didnât grow with you, and suddenly you were standing outside your high school realizing you knew every corner of the self-proclaimed suburban city, every street and coffee shop and alley. Youâve always been curious. And at some point, there wasnât anything left in that place for you to be curious about.
âI love my home. I love my parents. Itâs just⌠I needed to get out. I donât think they ever really understood that.â
Itâs easier to admit things when youâre looking straight ahead like this, out over the lines and curves of buildings, picking out street lamps, watching a few stray cars make their way around slow corners.
âIs it what you wanted it to be?â he asks quietly. âHere, I mean.â He nods out to the vast stretch of campus, spread across the city. So many corners youâve been here years and havenât found them all.
Campus is weird on break, you muse, looking out over the darkness. A whole parallel world for you to explore, the shadowed version of the place. A video game map on single-player, a dead server. Hardly any lights on in the windows, no kids out on the street. Like a ghost town. But it still doesnât feel empty to you. Thereâs so much promise in it.
âYeah,â you answer after a moment, soft. âYeah, I think it is.â
A ghost town that isnât lonely, somehow. You could write a song about it, you think. Friends with all the dead in my ghost town. The phrase plays itself out in your head, and it sounds like something moodier than your band usually goes for. It sounds like Shibuya Incident.
You wonder if this is what it means to be in a relationshipânot a romantic one, necessarily, but a friendship, or any kind of bond between two creative people. If itâs this, the sharing of intellectual property with another person to the extent that their voice and yours start to blend.
Itâs in the way Nobara can finish your sentences when youâre throwing out potential verses, scrambling for rhymes. How Toge and Yuta can anticipate each otherâs movements, match chord progressions without talking about them. How Maki slips into your tempo seamlessly, every single time.
And now your lyrics sound like something his band would play. Maybe Takumaâs songwriting will start sounding like yours, too.
You donât think youâd mind.
âCan I tell you something?â Takuma murmurs after a moment, sounding hesitant.
You rest a cheek on your knees, hands clasped together in front of your shins, facing him. âMhm.â
âThat song last night,â he whispers, and heâs not looking at you, just staring out at the rapidly darkening campus. âIt was about you. And how youâI donât know, the way you look at things. Like theyâre always so full of potential. I wish I could do that. You just see things and want to know more. I like⌠watching you, being curious.â He pauses for a beat and then quickly adds, âNot in like, a creepy way! JustâI donât know.â
A chuckle slips through your lips against your will, the darkness hopefully hiding the color in your cheeks. Maybe you can blame it on the cold. âWatching?â you ask, teasing. âI canât imagine Iâm all that intriguing. Thereâs a lot of cool people around here, yâknow.â
âSkip,â he murmurs, and now his eyes are locked on yours. âI donât think Iâve ever met anyone like you.â
Every nerve in your body is hyperaware of his proximity, and his hand reaches up to cup your jaw, the touch ghosting over you, barely there, hesitant. A nonverbal question. Is this okay?
You lean into the warmth, letting his breath wash over you, mingling with your own in the space between your lips, smaller and smaller and smaller.
Heâs watching you, closely, giving you a chance to pull away. So many words exchanged tonight, but you donât need any for this.
You donât pull away.
Itâs slow at first, and soft, and hesitant. The shingles dig into the heel of your hand as you lean forward on one arm, a grainy feeling on your fingertips, in the grooved imprints left by the guitar strings. You find your free hand moving up to his shoulder, pushing, guiding him down until his back is pressed against the roof and youâre over him, lips locked with his. You look at him, and heâs so full of potential. You want to know everything about him, you want to know how he works, you want to ask questions. And you do, with your tongue along the seam of his lips, and your hand tangled in his hair, and his breath mixing with yours in the air. Itâs near full dark now, feeling later than it really is, evening in autumn.
Youâre not cold anymore.
He deepens the kiss, body coming up to meet yours, and you feel like maybe this roof is the top of the whole world, because how could you ever feel higher than this?
âTakuma,â you murmur, and you kiss him again, and you donât think youâve ever felt this way before, but youâll do maybe anything in the world to feel this way again.
And then a sharp, deep sound makes you jump, scrambling to sit up on the shingles, breathing heavy from the kiss and the noise. Did that come from inside or out?
âWhatââ
âOh, crap,â Takuma groans, pulling open the window. âSomeoneâs home.â He looks back at you, cheeks flushed from the cold or the kiss or both, looking a little helpless, a little apologetic, and you canât help the small laugh that bursts from you at the absurdity of the situation. You feel like a teenager getting caught by your parents.
âWe shouldâŚâ He nods toward the window. You hand him the guitar, then crawl back over to the window and slip inside after him, the warmth a stark relief from the temperature youâve gotten so used to. Your heart is a jackhammer, rapidly pecking away at the once-stable structure of yourself.
You kissed him.
You kissed Takuma.
Your phone buzzes in your pocket, and you pull it out with still-cold hands.
utah:Â [1 Image Attachment] utah:Â dinner?
Admittedly, the pasta does look amazing, and your stomach grumbles as if on cue.
âI should go,â you say awkwardly, holding up the phone for Takuma to see.
âUh, yeah, uhâfor sure, no problem, I should go see whatâs up down there anyway,â he says after a beat of hesitation. âIâll see you, uhâŚ?â
âAround?â you finish, laughing slightly.
âYeah,â he echoes with an amused half-smile as you make your way down the stairs. âAround.â
â
Youâre freaking out.
Itâs 4:31 on Monday afternoon, youâve been listening to the same song on repeat for an hour, and youâre freaking the fuck out.
After Saturday night, you didnât talk about it. You kissed him on the roof and your heart turned into a hummingbird and you were warm all over, and then the front door slammed and you nearly jumped out of your skin, and Megumi was back early and Takuma had no idea why, and you pet the dogs and then slipped out, wanting to give them their space.
And you havenât talked about it. You havenât had time. Sunday was a mess of cramming for midterms and your housemates returning from break and you threw yourself into your studies and tried not to remember, but nowâŚ
The stupid fucking switch in the back of your brain has flipped itself on and you canât turn it off, all worry and criticism and hypothetical worst-case scenarios and youâre giving too much too fast, Skipper, you know better than this!
How many people in your tiny town fell in love young and grew to resent each other? How many of your high school friends grew up with divorced parents? How many breakups have you seen in your two and a half years at this university, how many tears and shouting matches in public halls, how many friend groups falling apart because two people fell in and out of love?
The thing is, you know youâre panicking about nothing. Takuma hasnât asked anything of you. It was just a kiss. He is not your boyfriend. This is not a contract.
But if you talk about it, it could be, and you donât understand why that scares you so much. Do you have commitment issues? What the fuck is your problem?
You probably wouldnât have a problem at all, if youâd just had the time Saturday night to figure out what the kiss meant. But now that a whole day has passed and you havenât seen him and you donât know for sure, your mind keeps wandering down paths it should have stayed away from.
What if itâs a friends with benefits situation and youâve just read too much into it? Maybe this is all he wants, making out, spending late nights together getting physical. Maybe thatâs all. A heated makeout session on a roof doesnât mean he feels the way you do. And do you even know how you feel? Fucking hell.
Itâs the anxiety talking, the more logical part of you says, the part that sounds an awful lot like Maki. Your friends arenât around to tell you how stupid youâre being, so the only texts you and Takuma have sent since Saturday night are playlists and song lyrics skirting around whatever truths youâre trying and failing to articulate.
Do I Wanna Know floats from the speaker on your desk, your phone next to your head on the bed, facedown and dormant. Do I wanna know if this feeling goes both ways?
Your door slams open and you jump up, whirling around to find Maki with her arms crossed, leaning on the frame. âAlright,â she says. âThatâs the tenth time Iâve heard that godforsaken song. What the fuck is up with you?â
When you donât respond, she steps inside and closes the door behind her, pauses the music, and then makes herself comfortable on the edge of your bed. âTalk to me,â she says. âYouâre driving yourself crazy.â The words stall in your throat, useless, stagnant things as you avoid her knowing stare, instead staring at the popcorn ceiling until it blurs.
Maki sighs and shifts entirely onto the bed, turning herself to face you.
âI didnât know you were home,â you say lamely.
âYouâre driving me crazy, Skip,â she tries, and she knows you so fucking well, because the guilt trip is exactly what dislodges all those words built up in the back of your mouthâshe breaks the dam and you spill your soul onto the quilted comforter, rambling, a rush of truths and things you thought youâd hidden from yourself but you canât anymore. And she just listens, not looking away once.
You tell her everything: that you know you catch feelings fast, too fast. That despite your bleeding heart, you havenât really been in a long-term relationship since high school. That you think of the future, of all the places you want to go, all the things you want to do, and thereâs no guy in those dreams, and the thought of restructuring the life youâve planned out for yourself around a boy who might be temporary is too much to even fathom. Thatâ
âI kissed him,â you say breathlessly, bordering on hysterical, and you feel so stupid, this worked up over something so small, something that should be good. âI kissed him and now it feels real and now Iâm freaking out.â
âI can see that,â Maki says calmly. âLet me ask you something. What is the worst thing that could happen, if you date him and it doesnt last?â
âIâŚâ You chew on your bottom lip, mind spinning through every bad outcome. âHe could end up hating me, Maki. I could get some crazy job and have to leave, or he would come with me and leave his whole life behind and then heâd grow to resent me and weâd just be in some kind of hellish limbo until one of us snapped. Or he couldâhe could leave me, or we could try long distance and he could fall in love with somebody else, or I could, orâorââ
You flounder for a second, realizing your biggest worry is the one most immediate, the one most central to your life as it exists right now.
Youâve been sitting here thinking about big-picture things that are so far out, trying to make the feeling curdling in your gut feel like a valid reaction to a major life event. But thatâs not what this is.
Youâre just really, stupidly, pathetically scared that Takuma kissed you and didnât mean it.
âOrâI guess thatâs not the issue. Not really,â you admit quietly, not looking at Maki. She probably already knows. She has a way of knowing exactly whatâs bothering you and just asking the right questions, getting you to talk yourself out of whatever hole your anxious mind has dug.
âIâit was just a kiss. What if he doesnât want something serious right now, and I like him this way and he just wants something casual? I canât do casual, Maki,â you say, raking a hand through your hair. âAnd it could fuck up this thing we have going. Yuji and Toge get along so well, and Nobara and the boys and Kirara, and Megumiâs your cousin, and I donât wanna cause some weird, awkward rift, you know what I mean?â
Because itâs been so good, getting to know them. You donât want to fuck up the dynamic just because you caught feelings too fast.
Maki leans back against your wall, humming as she thinks this over. âOkay. First of all, take a step back. Do you actually think you and Ino dating or not dating or whatever would mean I stop talking to my cousin? Or Nobara to the guys?â She raises a brow at you, unimpressed. âSeriously. I love you, Skipper, but you do not have that much power. These relationships existed before you knew Ino. Yuji is incapable of having conflict with anybody. And Toge doesnât give a fuck about awkward relationship drama, he just wants to play Smash.â
As she speaks, you can feel your heart settling back into its home in your chest. Maki always knows what to say. Always.
âSecond: Let me put it this way.â She levels you with a serious look. âYou are so worked up about all these incredibly hypothetical situations. If you shut this down now, if you donât act on what happened on Saturday, youâre still going to be worked up about hypotheticals. Theyâll just be different ones. I know you, Skipper, youâre gonna drown yourself in what ifs. So you have to pick the lesser evil. Thereâs an unknown factor either way. Which one is gonna be worse?â
You groan, faceplanting into your bedspread. In the process, your forehead must hit play on your phone, because all of a sudden Arctic Monkeys blasts through the JBL again and Maki is grabbing your phone and saying, âAbsolutely not. Nope. We are done with that.â
You look up at her helplessly. âDo I wanna know?â you choke out, half-laughing. âBecause if Iâm taking this out of proportion, if he doesnât feel this way and Iâm just another girl he kissedââ
âYouâre not,â she says firmly. âAre you kidding me? Skip. That boy kisses the ground you walk on.â She shakes her head, some mix of fondness of exasperation flashing across her face. âYou already know. The question isnât if he likes you, or if you like him. Itâs whether youâre gonna let it play out or shut it down before it has a chance to.â
Your door slams open, and Nobara strolls in and puts her hands on her hips. She glares at Maki and then at you.
âPlease tell me Iâm wrong,â she says, and you know youâre in for it, âbut I believe you both had significant relationship developments this weekend and didnât immediately call me? What the fuck? Spill.â
Abruptly, you feel like the worst friend in the world. Not necessarily because you havenât filled Nobara inâshe hasnât been homeâbut because Maki is flushing pink, and you left her alone with Yuta on purpose, and itâs Monday, and you havenât even asked what happened.
You look at Nobara. âClose the door.â
She does, but she doesnât sit down, choosing instead to pace the room as she speaks. âExhibit A: the plants have name tags and the handwriting is not Yutaâs. Exhibit B: I just came from down the street and Ino is acting weird as fuck.â
You sit straight up, suddenly on high alert. âWeird how? Did he say anything?â
âNo. Like, the entire time. Thatâs the weird as fuck part.â
You turn to Maki, trying to read her. âOkay, what happened with Yuta? Was it when I left? Because if I wasnât obvious enoughââ
âYou were very obvious, thank you,â Maki says, her blush deepening. âUh, we made dinner. As you know.â
âIt was good.â
Maki is pointedly looking everywhere but at you and Nobara, gaze darting from the ceiling to the bedspread to the door, as if she might escape the conversation. You hadnât even noticed the plant name tags. Thatâs maybe the most sappy gesture thatâs ever come from Maki Zenin.
âMm. Yeah. Uh,â she says, eloquently. âWe might have kissed. We might be⌠together.â
âMaki!â you and Nobara both scream, which results in Toge nearly breaking down your bedroom door five seconds later.
âWhat?â he demands. He clocks Makiâs bright red face and grins widely. âAha! Yes. Good.â
âWhââ
âYuta wonât look me in the eyes, so I figured. You wanted to tell us all at once?â
Maki nods sheepishly.
âToo late!â Toge says cheerfully. âAnd heâs not home. So we can take this quality girlsâ time toââ
âYou are a man.â
âThatâs the first time youâve ever said that to me,â Toge tells Nobara, hand over his heart.
She swats at him in response and flops onto your floor, and Toge drops down beside her, you and Maki leaning over the edge of your bed to see them both.
"I ate your love pasta," you tell Maki, and she groans.
"This is why I don't tell you people things."
After the appropriate appoint of freaking out about Maki and Yuta (of course I knew, I always know, Nobara says), they make you go through the whole of Saturday night in detail.
You leave out the part about Takumaâs dad. That doesnât feel like your story to tell.
When you get to I donât think Iâve ever met anyone like you, Nobara blinks at you, and the innocent expression on her face means whatever sheâs about to say is anything but. âSo he told you youâre not like other girls?â
âOh my god,â you groan, dragging your hands down your face.
âOh, shit, Skipper!â Toge nearly shouts from the floor. âWe have to go, like, two minutes ago.â
âShit!â You scramble off the bed, shoving your laptop into your bag and weaving around Nobara, who has made no move to get off the floor. You and Toge have your usual Monday night class time to do field reporting, and youâre meeting up with Geto and Utahime.
The front door clicks open and closed, and you grin at Maki, who goes red. Yutaâs home. God, you wish you could stay for this.
âHi, Yuta! Bye, Yuta!â you call on the way out the door, patting him on the head, and Toge follows suit with a much more aggressive motion that messes up Yutaâs hair.
âOh, hi! Um. Bye?â Yutaâs startled laugh follows you out the door, and then youâre on your way.
Youâre always on your way back to The Fix, eventually.
â
Utahime, notably a happier person in general when Gojoâs not around, lets Toge into the back to get some photos of the storeroom. That leaves you alone with Geto, back on the same stool as last time, phone on the counter as you watch him work, talking as he goes.
âFinished inventory,â he says, typing something rapidly on his laptop, âand now itâs budgeting. And yeah, thatâs about what it looks like on the day to day. What else did you want to know?â
Geto is remarkably easy to talk to. Heâs soft-spoken and articulate, a good listener, and you find yourself forgetting itâs an interview after a while, lost in conversation. You learn that he studied business in school, so opening an establishment like this wasnât much of a stretch. He handles the finances and hiring, and heâs the one working with Panda on the Battle of the Bands. Gojo and Utahime bartend, Nanami is security, and Shoko handles everything else. Itâs a small team, he says, but they work.
âI wanted to be able to be home for the girls when they were growing up, and this wound up being a great way to do that, schedule-wise,â he tells you. âAnd now theyâre here, which is great. I wouldnât say I ever saw myself opening a bar, back in college, but now that Iâm here and Shoko and I have been running the place for a while, Iâm not sure where else I ever couldâve ended up, yâknow?â
You nod, head propped in your hand with your elbow on the counter. âSo is this the dream? The endgame?â you ask. âThink youâll stay a while?â
âWell,â he says, closing the laptop, âI think it comes down to doing something because you love it, not because other people love that you do it. Though right now, both of those things are true, which is fortunate for me." He leans on the bar counter, head tilted as he considers his words.
"If the work makes you happy, if the people there make you feel the same way, I think thatâs worth hanging on to," he says. "If I ever stop loving the work, I suppose Iâll move on. I donât see that happening, really, but if it does, Iâll roll with it. Whatever comes after.â
âThat makes sense.â You sigh, leaning back in your chair. âMan, I wish the career thing was that clear-cut now. I know I have time, but itâs weird to think about.â
âWould you ever go further than this with the band, you think?â he asks, seeming genuinely curious. âOr is the journalism thing pretty much what your heartâs set on?â
Youâve thought about it. Drumming makes you feel alive like very few other things do, but you love writing, reporting, meeting people and telling their stories. You want to go for editor-in-chief next year when Tsumiki graduates, but the reality is that you wonât have so much time for the band if you get the job. And you love your band.
Not that itâll be the same, anyway, without Maki and Yuta. Thatâs something you donât love to think about.
âI donât know,â you confess, sheepishly realizing youâre still recording, that youâre supposed to be the one asking the questions. âI donât think⌠that the band is ever necessarily going to be a professional thing. Maki and Yuta have all these big career plans. And itâs like, how much do I invest in that now, knowing itâs not⌠forever? When the journalism thing, the career, might be? I donât know.â
âYou know, I donât think it matters all that much whether itâs forever,â Geto shrugs. âIf it gave you what you needed at the time, wouldnât it be worth it?â
He glances up at you, taking in the lines of your face, the tapping of your fingers against your other arm. You kind of feel like he sees something you donât.
âHereâs some unsolicited advice, kid. On the record. Maybe life is short, maybe not. But regardless, your heart is not a finite thing.â His eyes are soft but not sad, serious but with a sort of levity thatâs wise and not regretful. You think, idly, that you would find it very hard not to trust him. âIf youâve got something, love it while you have it.â
Something tells you heâs not talking about the band anymore. Or maybe thatâs just you, looking for answers where there arenât any.
âThanks, Geto,â you say, turning off the recording. âThis has been really helpful.â
Your heart is not a finite thing. And you think youâve made up your mind.

28 asks, thank you!
@dogtor-of-the-hole
Oh I absolutely hate it through and through. You cannot convince me that the movie is being made by people who love/appreciate/understand Minecraft in any capacity. Jack Black being cast as Steve is the worst part by far. I will absolutely not not be watching it.
(Link in ask)
That music was really nice actually.. I clicked on their most recent video and listened to it while trying to take down art theft and making this post. It was spooky yet very calming.
I've always wanted to make short pixelated game that just tells a cool story with some kind of haunting twist. But I'm really bad with tech so never dared to try and code something like that.
I originally shelved my FNAF AU because my health was/is still in shambles and I couldn't handle trying to keep up with such q big project. But now I'm not wanting to go back to it due to the constant art theft I've getting recently.
Thank you for the concern.. I'm doing my best to have thick skin about it and just focus on reporting it all.
They still exist for sure. But my persistent illness along with the mountains of art theft is keeping all my FNAF stuff on the shelf.
@aishutoon
Happy Thanksgiving! :DD
I like the first one a lot and can watch it any day. Second one is about the same. But any movie after that I either don't like or it makes me too sad to watch.
Also, I cant remember making any artwork about it, no..
@howeaboutsomeketchul
Hello!
The only way all this can get worse if if they turn the thefts into a meme. Absolutely disgusting. I will not be returning to this fandom.
@rockyztownesys
Thank you,, I'm on a quest to try and get all the stolen art I can find taken down. In the meantime I've been trying to draw for myself but the truth is I'm really unmotivated atm. Hoping I feel better soon.
Thank you! :) I'm hoping I recover from all this too..
@paper-starz
Thank you,, I'm doing my best to draw for myself. But the truth is I'm just very unmotivated to draw without the nice feedback from my followers.đI'm sure I'll find a way around it though. Maybe a longer break is what I need..
@misscherrypie
I'm sad they're out of season now đ
(Link in post)
oooo I like the designs! :D
@mimiocto
Hello! :)
@neo-metalscottic (Digital circus post in question)
Thank you! I'm glad you like him. And funny you should mention the Lego batman movie Joker, I think his coattails subconsciously inspired me!
As for Roblox, I've been playing Creatures of Sonaria. Its a neat Gacha game where you get to run around as all these whacky creatures. So far my top 3 favorites are the Momola, Shararook and Jhiggo Jangl. Though I don't really play as Shararook because it moves so slowly and cant jump, climb or swim :(
And lastly, I really like that portrayal of Mario and Luigi! I imagine since Mario seems to be tough and a real go getter, he doesn't typically think situations all the way through and plan things out. He just jumps right in and sees what happens!.. Which don't usually turn out well <XD Giving him the appearance of the "dumber" brother as a result-
Meanwhile Luigi is more anxious and on the cautious side and is always thinking everything through before he does it. This makes me think he'd come out as the "smarter" brother who does a lot more thinking than doing. When in reality they're both pretty smart!
@glitchhayden418
Positive potato save me.. save me positive potato..
Yeah, I left a comment explaining that I wasn't ok with people using my designs. They apologized saying that they didn't know and immediately made their own design and hasn't used mine since. Nice fellow honestly, though I wish they had just checked first.
I'll have to look into that, thank you!
Thank you.. I've been trying to take a break and draw for myself. But I find myself unmotivated to draw while also missing drawing. Is that what burnout looks like.? I don't know..
For now I'm kind of lurking. I'm going to go try and get a lot of my stuff taken down. Hopefully it works and that gives me the confidence to come back and post some more. I love the interactions I get and wanna keep sharing my drawings. I just gotta take some time to try and feel better I suppose..
@lizardlover-skylarglamrock
Thank you,, I'm trying not to let it demotivate me. But its sure been happening a lot more than usual..
@wolfie-777
That's a neat idea! :000
@anonymous-red-shades
The CookieRun: Kingdom spooky muffin..
(link in ask)
Not particularly interested if I'm being honest.. the only character I like so far is Golden Osmanthus Cookie. Don't get me wrong I like the designs and themes of this update, but the cookies personalities are kind'a annoying to me so far đ
Hmm.. what's something about him I haven't shared...
I don't think I've shared this- in my welcome home AU there are silly and colorful versions of normal foods. Like silly blue spaghetti or purple pizza! Stuff you might find in a show like that.
Now the thing is, Eddie wont touch any of these foods. He'll only eat foods that look normal to our standards. And he doesn't really know why he's picky about this.. he just is..
(Its because he was a human before becoming a puppet)
@captain-skyley
Aww, What a cutie! :D

~{ I come with gifts of this stuff! }~
The Watcher In Red
Jason has been seeing a figure who he has dubbed âRedâ as the figure is always wearing red and the fact when they fight they leave quite the mess
Red has been around since Jason got back to Gotham and started his work as a crime lord in crime alley and ever since he first noticed Red they have been a very helpful ally with his work such as leading Jason to trouble and helping him stay hidden with going for a surprise attack or when he gets injured or knocked out Red takes care of the enemyâs then and gets Jason to safety
And itâs not a secret either Red has shown themselves in front of other or when fighting if your dealing with Red Hood you deal with Rose as most people have started to call them not that Jason is complaining itâs something new he can tease them with and get them flustered as he so loves doing and when they cover their red face with their black and red fan to hide their blush anyway but Jason can still remember the first time they metâŚ
When Jason saw them he was half convinced that he was having blood loss hallucinations
Jason heard that some asshole wasnât listening to his rules of not selling drugs to kids and leaving the schools alone so Jason was about to deal with that fucker but turns out he got friends close by and they shot at him but not before Jason got them but they still got a few good shots and now Jason is laying in a alley in his own blood
And he was sure he was going to bleed out or heâd have to get his ass moving to a safe house but the closest one was a few miles away and he doubted he could walk that far with a couple bullets in him and bleeding until he saw them ďżź
They were wearing a black and red dress and black and red boots with a heel but the most obvious thing of this figure was their hat it was black and red like the rest of them but it hide their face so much it looks like they have none and with Jason luck they might not but they look like they just stepped straight out of a old gothic painting andâŚ.were they walking towards him?
As Jason noises this the figure they lean down and start to treat his injuries and Jason is to out of it to ask questions and passes out as they just about finished with his injuries
And when Jason wakes up in the safe house he just thinks it was a hallucination but how wrong he wasâŚ
Lady Gotham took in Danny after he was forced to leave his home dimension after the G.I.W got him and turned him into a full ghost, the injures the G.I.W that ultimately killed him gave him made it a bit hard to talk sometimes so when he was given to Lady Gotham who barely ever actually talked instead of broadcasting her feelings like Danny does now he was relieved.
Lady Gotham took Danny in around the same time Bruce took in Jason and very quickly did Jason because Dannyâs favorite robin and Lady Gotham was just happy her Little Red Rose was happy.
Lady Gotham ships the hell out of Danny and Jason.
Lady Gotham and Danny have tea regularly and just enjoy the others company.
Lady Gotham gave Danny full control over crime alley and that part of Gotham.
Danny looks more human than what his old half ghost form looked like.
~{Here are what Iâm thinking for Dannyâs outfit! And for the hats either one is fine, I canât really pick one so I just added both}~
â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘â˘
~{and thatâs all for this! I hope you gremlins like it and you know the rules you use my stuff tag me! Anyway byeeeee!}~

May I ask for some tips on designing characters? Yours are so cool!! â¨ď¸â¨ď¸â¨ď¸
AA thank you so much! Iâm not a professional really, but as a hobbyist.. I could give you some advices that have worked well for me \o/
Tip 1: Don't be afraid to experiment and try something new! Use and mix the most chaotic colors, combine the uncombinable, and just have fun
(this is my normal process of creating designs tbh.. I just donât think about it a lot and draw everything the way I feel xD)
Tip 2: If youâll be practicing making designs all the time, eventually you'll start to feel and understand which colors work well together and which don't. There are also some win-win color combos that always look good - for example, plain black/white with golden parts, or tropical colors (blue & orange & yellow & red & green), or brown palettes with rainbow shades, or black & white & grey & red, etc. I personally found my comfort in rainbow accents, gradients and vibrant colors đ
Tip 3: Mix different themes! I really enjoy designing reptilian characters and mix them with absolutely any themes I could find :D For example:
plush & cactus & raptor
dinosaur & kidcore aesthetic
peacock & dragon & snake & constellations
raptor & bat & cow and⌠wooden raptor?đł
âŚand so on!
Find your own comfort species & themes and mix them with everything you want ^^
Tip 4: If you got no ideas yet, but still wanna design something, I highly recommend using Pinterest for inspiration! It contains a lot of great images/photos which can bring you tons of ideas (not only for characters designs, by the way). I also use it for clothes tutorials, poses references, and lightning/shading guides sometimes!
Tip 5: To improve your visual library, look at othersâ characters and adoptables. Analyze what exactly you like about these designs - it can be some special color palette or other unusual choices. This will not only give you an understanding of which palettes and design elements go well together, but also allow you to discover your own favorite elements/details you can use in your own work!
Thatâs it! There's probably something else I forgot to say, but for now.. that's all my sleepy brain could remember at the moment <D

I know I just sent an ask regarding the Miss Raven relationship post, but I saw the scrapped Yuus one and I wanted to ask smth related (â ââ â¸â âźâ âśâ ) sorry if two asks in a row are too much in this regard too!
first of all I LOVE YOUR STYLE đ it's so cute, I always get excited when you post art. and it's so interesting to get to see a part of your creative process in making characters, even if they didn't end up existing. ( THE ONEE-SAN YUU... Miss Raven was saved from falling for another charming smile... and so were the rest of us )
in regard to ocs, I wanted to ask... do you have any other twst ocs? I think I read some old posts about some RSA ocs, but I wanted to ask specifically if there's another "big" one in terms of story/being as fleshed out as Miss Raven đ§ or if you ever plan to make another Big Ocâ˘ď¸ in terms of lore like u did for her
also... I wanted to ask... now that you finished her main story, is there any other long form (?) stories you want to explore with her? I know you're hosting the future!au event rn, and you've written more side stories (?) about her in similar events... but I mean as in- again, a longer sort of story. I'm just genuinely curious, since I really like your work + her specifically and I'm curious about whatever you have planned for her đ but ofc it's totally okay if you have other plans orrr if you'd prefer to let the heavy Raven lore rest for a bit!!
[Referencing this post and this blog event; the askerâs Miss Raven relationships ask is here.]
adskjblfabfqyovf OTL Thanks??? I get anxious about posting my art because its usually hand drawn, non-committal sketches đŚ I personally really like reading about other people's creative processes so I tend to scribble notes all over my drawings, and then they get all messy and cluttered... I'm glad you like them regardless though.
I like drawing Onee-san!Yuuâs art eyes and hair⌠She is very dainty and cute! Her personality is fun to toy with too, since how she acts and how sheâs truly feeling are so starkly different. Iâve thought about her so many times, itâs almost like sheâs psychically reaching out to me in an attempt to have me formally implement her đ Again though, not sure if Iâll ever settle on a Yuu because the concept of a Yuu does not really interest me.
Aaaah, my RSA OCs were back from like 2020-2021. I never did manage to flesh them out and I think Iâve lost the fire to. I have several NRC OCs that I havenât shared because they arenât that fleshed out either. Of those, I think my favorite is my twisted!Iago (who is in part also inspired by my own pet)⌠Heâs just a punk ass (first year Scarabia) kid and Jamilâs self-proclaimed minion (Jamil has no idea who he is).
Ironically, I think the most detailed NRC OCs I have at the moment are the three based on mob students:
Even then, I donât think theyâre super deep⌠Pome A can be summarized as "ex-delinquent who now has the goal of becoming 'a gentleman'" (similar to Deuce, who wants to be an honors student). Scarab B is basically a Jamil fan boy (though he's less angry/pushy about it than Sebek is; he has more eager puppy energy). The most detailed one of the bunch is Octa A, who is very anxious (Idia-sh) due to being sorted into Octavinelle, where his dorm members are constant sources of stress. Outside of that, he's a very... homely "boy next door" type. I picture him coming from a tightly knit island town and helping out his family at a community center where they help people find jobs that best suit them. (If you couldn't tell, a lot of Octa A's backstory is inspired by the Lilo and Stitch animated series.) The mob student OCs were conceived because I thought it would be funny to sometimes write from the perspective of unrelated onlookers watching all of the crazy stuff that happens on NRC campus and just going, "What, AGAIN????" They feel more like unserious gag characters, if anything.
I have actually considered writing a sequel to the Tale of the Cursed Raven for the longest time! If you've read the original tale, Vil, Azul, and Idia play prominent roles throughout it. The second saga would theoretically give the other dorm leaders (Malleus, Leona, Kalim, and Riddle) importance. Note that 3 out of 4 of the dorm leaders in the latter group are nobles or have noble relatives. That's because the (potential) sequel would involve themes of social status and who gets to shape the future. A-And hey, maybe it could focus on Raven's relationship with L*ona instead of J word this time-- The synopsis is as follows: Having finally broken her curse, Raven Crowley is now free to live as she wishes in a happily ever after of her own making... or is she? One day, a strange invitation arrives from an unknown sender, beckoning her to Briar Valley. Amid whispers of Malleus Draconia's ascension to the throne and a grand ball to decide the dragon's bride-to-be, the timing is certainly strange. "This is far too suspicious," she thinks. "I simply won't go." Then a sparkling carriage pulls up to the gates of Night Raven College, claiming to be looking for a princess in black feathers. Accompanying that carriage are two men cloaked in white and a woman that shines like starlight.
"Who are you?" Raven asks, feeling as though they've met before in some distant past. "Why, I'm your Fairy Godmother. I'm here to make all of your dreams come true."
Perhaps this meeting was always meant to be.
(I WANT TO BE CLEAR: despite how the synopsis sounds, it is NOT meant to be Raven x Malleus. I would appreciate it if readers refrained from discussing this topic, please and thank you.)
As you can probably tell by that đŚ the story sounds very ambitious... and unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable writing it because we're still missing so much from the canon main story. I'd like the OB Malleus and Grim arcs to complete so I understand the full scope of the story and how the loose ends are tied up (particularly Malleus's reaction post-OB and how, if at all, he embraces change). More lore on dragon fae would be helpful as well. I'd also ideally like a Briar Valley hometown event so I can see what the culture, traditions, people, politics, etc. are like before I attempt to depict it in my writing.
In this sequel, there would be many OCs introduced--at least 4 of them! I've been cooking a lot behind the scenes ^^ One of these OCs you've actually met in the original tale; it would be the Enchantress (Estella) that originally cursed the Storyteller. 2 of the other OCs are what I would describe as Estella's helpers, who are meant to be her equivalent to Silver and Sebek. One is inspired by the concept of the âmessenger dove + dove with the olive branchâ and the other is inspired by Swan Lake. The 4th and final OC is basically all but confirmed would be a foil character to Malleus, an ambitious nobleman twisted from Nerissa (the villain from Enchanted).
Hereâs some doodles I have of the 4 OCs I mentioned! The first two are âthe doveâ and âthe swanâ, respectively. The bottom two are concepts for twisted!Nerissa and Estella.
This sequel would expand more on Estella's motives and background (something I mentioned in my afterthoughts), as well as tie in history and political intrigue as Ravenâs forced to navigate those circles. It would most likely be set a year or so in the future, and the events that take place would inform Ravenâs internship decision in her fourth year. (She would be a scribe in Briar Valley!) Iâd like part II to feel like a story event that supplements or follows up on the development in part I/the main story.
xbjsbsjsjsb Anyway 𤥠Thatâs all I feel okay with revealing for now. I want to be clear and reiterate that this is all just a theoretical sequel and Iâm not sure if Iâll actually get around to writing it. Itâs definitely been fun to conceptualize though ^^
Iâll leave you with this concept art:

Redefining Femininity: Your Guide to Embracing Grace and Inner Strength
Hey love,
Let me tell you about something thatâs completely changed the way I see my day-to-day life: stepping into my Soft Girl Era. Itâs not just an aesthetic or a mood, itâs a whole mindset thatâs about slowing down, showing yourself love, and finding joy in the tiniest things.
And listen, I get it. Life gets crazy, and sometimes we feel like we need to keep up with everything. But honestly? Thereâs magic in choosing softness and deciding that you deserve the good things, right now. Let me share how Iâm doing it and how you can, too:
Romanticize Your Life
I used to wait for big moments to feel goodâbirthdays, vacations, those rare âperfectâ days. But hereâs the thing: life isnât made up of perfect days. Itâs the little ones that count! So now, Iâm pouring my coffee into the prettiest mug I own, spritzing on perfume even if Iâm just staying home, and playing my favorite music while I do my skincare.
Use your best things every dayâyour fancy candles, your satin pillowcases, your sparkling water in a wine glass. Why not?
Pick one âspecialâ activity you love and make it part of your routine. Journaling, reading a dreamy book, or even sitting outside to watch the sunset can feel like a treat.
Glow Through Your Style
Soft Girl vibes start with wearing what feels good to youâliterally and emotionally. For me, thatâs cozy knits, flowy dresses, and the kind of jewelry that makes me feel like the main character. Iâve started thrifting pieces that bring me joy and pairing them with staples I already loved.
Go through your closet and pick the pieces that feel like you. Maybe itâs pastels, maybe itâs neutralsâwhatever makes you feel soft and confident.
Accessorize! Add gold hoops, a simple hair bow, or your favorite gloss.
Care for Your Heart and Mind
Letâs get real: being soft doesnât mean being weak. It means being honest with yourself and letting your emotions flow without shame. Lately, Iâve been journaling almost every dayâitâs like having a heart-to-heart with myself. Sometimes I even set a timer for 5 minutes and just write everything I feel. Itâs so freeing!
Start or end your day with journaling. It doesnât have to be deepâwrite about what made you happy or even what annoyed you.
Try a mini reset when things feel overwhelming: sit in silence for a moment, take a deep breath, or cry if you need to. Itâs all okay.
Create a Beautiful Space
I used to think my environment didnât matter much, but wow, was I wrong. When my space feels cozy and pretty, I feel better. Adding fresh flowers, twinkly lights, or even a soft blanket can completely shift the vibe.
Add one small thing to your space that makes you smileâlike a cute photo, a plant, or even a thrifted vase.
Try a mini DIY: create a vision board with quotes, pictures, and colors that inspire you. Tape it to your wall or keep it in your journal as a reminder of what youâre working towards.
Nurture Your Relationships
The best part of my Soft Girl Era? Feeling closer to the people I love. Iâve been making an effort to check in with friends, even if itâs just a quick voice note or a funny meme. Itâs not about perfection; itâs about connection.
Send that âI miss youâ text youâve been thinking about. It might just make someoneâs day.
Be present in conversations. Put down your phone when youâre with people and really listen.
Make time for the relationships that feel good and let go of the ones that donât.
Softness Is Strength
Choosing softness doesnât mean youâre fragile, it means youâre strong enough to prioritize joy and kindness in a world that can be harsh. Every time you choose to take care of yourself, youâre showing the world, and yourself, that youâre worth it.
So, letâs lean into this together. Light that candle, grab your coziest sweater, and step into your Soft Girl Era. You deserve a life that feels gentle, beautiful, and completely yours.
Whatâs one thing youâre doing for your Soft Girl Era today? Let me knowâIâd love to hear! đ

i love 15x8 but its sometimes a little nonsensical to me but also so amazing at the same time?!?!
first off chuck being at a casino just killing people and being served is so real because if i was god and i was fed up id pull the same shit as him. And then when we see Adam and Michael they treat the waiter and the people at the dinner kindly even paying when they don't really need to and Michael going out of his way to fix everyones memory was a good non-mentioned comparison between the two and also made me feel like even though he wasn't on screen Michael changed alongside adam because szn 5 Michael was scary as shit and probably didn't care about the peoples feelings like his father
then we get to the nonsensical part which is honestly the dialog first up the diner scene. Adam says he can't go to college but he wants to get a little job and i just don't think Michael will sit back as Adam gets a little job in any way he wouldn't sit back during college. it is nice Adam wants to actually pay people even though if i was in his stop no way in hell (pun hehe) id do that
(edit but also them talking about the fast food killing him??? No it won't You're an archangel buddy nothing can affect him why are you shaming him đđđ)
next is Michael getting caught in fucking holy fire by Castiel??? In season 5 literally Uriel got rid of holy oil before he entered a room (or maybe it was Michael I'm pretty sure it was uriel tho) And you're telling me Michael who got torched by holy fire and didn't seem to have a good time the first time by the person he was called by didn't get rid of the oil before he stepped foot near them and also it's a Castiel forever to drop that stupid fucking lighter he could stepped out. And How did Michael just let them put the stupid cuffs on He could have just thrown one of these hoes into the fire and stepped out when they were trying to cuff him??? Also they literally got him to have a conversation with him why the fuck would they kidnap him?
and my favorite favorite thing to complain about in this episode is their stupid ass conversations They start off by trying to get Michael who they just kidnapped practically to understand their side. And then when that's not obviously working and he's being kind of bitchy to them Michael says like "You who left me in hell and let your own brother rot" Sam spews some bullshit like "Well in our line of work We got to get used to lost causes blah blah blah blah blah" And first off Michael saying you who left your brother to rot in hell?? So did you and for like a million times longer what đ But then they think instead of calling him out on his hypocrisy they start going off about their job and bullshit! WHY WOULD MICHAEL CARE DUDE HE'S AN ANGEL HE DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOUR LINE OF WORK!!!
I did love Michael and castiel's fight but they both looked just a bit constipated đ¤
What made me really mad and like confused was 'when we locked away the darkness this was the spell' DIDN'T YOU DO THAT BEFORE EARTH AND PURGATORY AND THE UNIVERSE WAS A THING???? How the fuck is it a spell??? The final season I feel like they really were just giving any solution.
Also it's so funny to me how incredibly powerful Michael is even in these stupid fucking angel cuffs like it felt like the only thing it really was doing was making it so he couldn't get out of the cuffs but didn't do shit besides that. like he opened up a portal to purgatory which Raphael another archangel couldn't fucking do except for like one day a year or something. BUT MICHAEL BEING SO POWERFUL ALSO CONFUSES ME BECAUSE IF HE CAN JUST OPEN UP FUCKING PORTALS TO ANOTHER FUCKING UNIVERSES WHY DIDN'T HE JUST OPEN UP A FEW DIFFERENT PORTALS TO GET OUT OF THE FUCKING CAGE
Also I might be the only one but I feel like Adam accepting their apology just felt like him saying 'get me the fuck out of here I'm so done' Also him cursing Castiel was funny "Since when do we get what we deserve?" looks to Castiel and walks out. yeah he totally knew that the gay angel was fucked personally if I was Adam I would have slapped Dean before I walked out but you know cursing his angel boyfriend is probably just as good
Also Adam's so peaceful in this episode like maybe it's cuz he doesn't want to like repeat what happened the first time he met his brothers when he kind of got possessed immediately by an archangel but now that he is what was his like consequence for being kind of a dick to them, like imo he totally should have cuz even though he doesn't really look it to us I'm pretty sure canonically he was still 19 yk
anyways that was a lot but I'm pretty sure it's all of my thoughts on this episode a beautiful crazy episode
#spn#supernatural#adam milligan#michael spn#dean winchester#michael supernatural#sam winchester#adam spn#midam#15x8#spn 15x08#I'm not a hater I love this episode#spn is a bit stupid sometimes#castiel

SID for Metal Hammer, 1999
ÂĄÂĄÂĄFULL interview here!!!
SID WILSON
Age: 22.
Marital status: I have a girlfriend.
Nickname?: Filth, or the epitome of...
Born and bred?: Born in Des Moines although my whole family is from England.
Instrument played?: Turntables.
Band previous to Slipknot?: I have a DJ crew called Soundproof Coalition, who are based out of Des Moines.
First record bought?: The first one I owned was the Miami Vice soundtrack which my parents bought for me.
First band seen live?: I was really young and my parents took me to see Sheena Easton.
Describe yourself in three words: Organic brain syndrome.
What does your mask represent?: To me it's like I'm killing myself on stage. I am constantly at war as the gas mask reminds people at war, so it's like I am constantly dying up there.
Was the visual image your idea?: Yeah, it kinda fell in my lap. I got into the band and was looking for a mask and the gas mask kinda found me. Since then I have been pretty interested in them and If I ever see one I buy it. Right now I have seven or eight of them.
Special Ingredient you bring to the band?: Youth, as I am the youngest member of the band which keeps it fresh.
What is your greatest fear?: Dying young. It is something I think about, as you can die from all kinds of things- I could break my neck at a show, catch a disease or the government could assassinate me.
What is your idea of hell?: I don't believe in it. If there is a hell, planet earth is it.
First job: Working at raves.
Have you ever experimented with auto eroticism?: Yeah, I guess I have. I've wore choke collars, as in the rave scene there have been a lot of experiences which have been pretty crazy.
Tell me your favorite sexual fantasy introducing Salvador DalĂ (the late great surrealist painter), an orange, and a bicycle?: I would ride the bicycle for three hours to be completely exhausted, then me and my girlfriend would enter the painting with the melted clocks in it (The Persistence of Memory) and then at the point of orgasm melt like the clocks and eat the oranges for a reward.
Do you enjoy a good wank?: Yeah, every day. When we went on The Howard Stern Show I wanted in show him my cock and I was trying to keep it a decent hanging size, so I was jerking off, and by the time we were on it only lasted a minute so I didn't even get the chance to show it. I think he was actually quite scared of it.
Do you often wank in public?: It depends. When I go into my personality of number 0 the number takes over and I never know what he is going to do, but myself, not really.
What would be the concept for a Slipknot porno movie?: I probably wouldn't do much talking as when I am in my alter ego of 0 I don't talk much. There would be a lot of drooling, slobbering and grunting. There would be no need for dialect, just get down to it.
Hobbies outside the band?: I like to snowboard and sculpt with clay. I am also into cooking. My mom has been teaching me since I was three. My speciality is french crepes.
Fave horror movie?: Evil Dead 2 and Army Of Darkness.
Fave author?: Edgar Allen Poe is the only literature have ever finished reading.
Band you'd like to tour with?: It wouldn't go in with the genre of Skipknot, but me personally, it would be The Beastie Boys. At the point when I got into DJing, break dancing and hip hop The Beastie Boys were a big part of that. I have always listened to them.
Who do you think is the most heavy metal band of all time?: Slipknot.
Worst way to die?: Without my family. By myself.
If your house was burning down. What is the one thing you would run in and save?: If all my family was out, I would have to go and get the hair wrap my girlfriend gave me before we started dating. It is made out of her hair.
If you were the president of the USA for a day and could achieve one thing only. What would it be?: I would make it a free country and expose the government for what it is.
What is your dog called?: Mary Jane Wilson. She's part whippet and part dingo.
if you read all this follow me ÂĄHERE! I post media of Sid every 4 hours âĄ

Thoughts on Mastermind
(So yeah spoilers ahead)
So after letting my thoughts on the episode settle a bit and giving myself time to analyze, I have a LOT to say.
So first of all⌠yeah I think this is officially my new favorite Helluva episode.
I think this episode was pretty well paced (a little fast, but there was a LOT to cover) and also did a surprisingly good job at balancing the drama and humor. Also obviously ADORED the IMP found family showcased in this episode, they were entertaining in the first scene, and heart wrenching at the court.
Now for a bit more analysis, the way they handled the writing was REALLY interesting here. While first watching the episode, I was a little confused about Andrealphusâs plan, but after thinking about it⌠itâs scarily clever.
He knows that Stolas is smart in his own right, if he straight up brought him to court, heâd find a good way to argue. He knows how to work this type of stuff as shown in Oops. But if they brought in only Blitzø, they knew Stolas wouldnât see until the broadcasted execution. He would have no time to form a concrete rational plan, Andre wants him to either act irrationally, or make himself look like a fool and incompetent. No one knows exactly what heâll do, but Andre is giving Stolas as little time as possible to think it out. The hope is that he acts as irrationally as he has before.
And even if Stolas didnât come, Andre purposely tries to make Stolas seem weak and somewhat helpless, incompetent. All the while he makes himself look an almost better version of our favorite bird. His backup plan is to make Stolas look incompetent and vulnerable, while it may be less immediate, with Stolasâs already somewhat declining reputation, this would make it easier for him to take Stolasâs title.
And despite being EXTREMELY irrational, Stolas did a pretty good job with his plan in my opinion. First of all, he brought ALL the theater kid energy in the song (which was an absolute banger by the way, I donât care how cheesy the Stolitz part was I LOVE CHEESY) and did a great job playing the part. To me, this is proof that he had finally started to realize the classism. This is the type of part you can only play by understanding it even if you donât necessarily believe it. He plays up the the classism and distaste for imps, he uses the fact that the other royals see them as useless and incompetent. And honestly, I think it was smart of him to be so vague in the song. Once again, he didnât have a lot of time to think this through, and he somewhat used this to his advantage. Being vague added an air of mystery and made it seem like more of an unpredictable threat. Heâs building up the fact that this mastermind has a dangerous plan, something possibly having to do with taking over the mortal realm. And then when he reveals himself to be the âmastermindâ? Well of course he wouldnât expose any of his âfuture plansâ, Stolas is playing as someone who just wants the recognition and to be feared. Someone arrogant, feeling offended that an imp was getting the credit for his crimes. Claiming he has more planed while not naming those plans makes him a threat and will draw away almost any blame from Blitzø.
And of course this plan is impulsive, but he barely has any time to plan. He arrives right before the axe is about to come down on his loverâs neck. His only goal right now is making sure Blitzø stays alive. In the song he even acknowledges how impulsive it is to throw everything away for this idiot he is still frankly mad at. But heâs learned he can choose his fate, and thatâs exactly what heâs doing.
And of course I ADORED the Stolitz in this episode, they were both so perfectly dramatic and the absolute SOFTNESS in the last scene had me making absolute demonic and feral noises. But, despite this somewhat being a closure to the season 2 Stolitz drama (however we do still have Sinsmas) Iâm happy theyâre still leaving room for more angst even with them now being able to properly blossom. This episode did an EXCELLENT job at showcasing the classism via the unfairness of the court case, so it feels fitting that at the end the power dynamic almost switches. Blitzø is now a celebrity amongst imps and lower class demons, while Stolas essentially lost everything, including his daughter. And while I definitely think this is setting up for angst in at least the next episode (in which I very much think theyâre going to go and try to save Octavia from her bitchy mother), this power dynamic is going to feel different, because while there is still somewhat a power dynamic now, there is also a much larger level of understanding between the two of them. They now feel more capable of facing this together, there is less doubt of feelings. Iâm REALLY excited to see how they handle this, and yes I also am an absolute sucker for hurt/comfort.
Those are most of my major thoughts in this episode. I loved every single part of this beautifully dramatic episode (yeah I expectantly loved Vassago) but most of the other things I would bring up have already been said. Plus this post is too long so yeah thatâs it for now.
