Students may be interested in the even smaller particles of quantum physics-like quarks, bosons, neutrinos, and antineutrinos. They are intended to get players thinking about what they already know about elements. General questions about the properties of elements assume standard temperature and pressure (helium is liquid below -268☌ and gold is a liquid above 1064 ☌). For this game, the most common isotopes of the chemical elements are used. This game presents a simple introduction to the Rutherford-Bohr model of the atom and the way we organize the elements. Find the answers you need using scientific tools like the Periodic Table. Any bond or intermolecular attraction that can be formed can be broken.MATERIALS For Build an Atom, you will need three containers for each grouppill bottles, jelly jars or small plastic storage containers will work. They see how the sizes of the nucleus of an atom can get very large. Chemical and physical properties of materials can be explained by the structure and arrangement of atoms, ions, and molecules and the forces between them In Build an Atom, students learn about atomic structures by making a model of an atom using beans.Directions: Create an Oxygen (O) atom (8 protons, 8 neutrons, 8 electrons). Matter is made from discrete fundamental units called atoms Part 1: Build an Atom Click on the + sign for each of the boxes (element name, net charge and mass number) to view changes as you change the number of particles in the atom. Ok so I am a very messy person by nature. It is interesting to me hoe many people think this is laziness or moral failing. I'm comfortable with mess bc I grew up in squalor, and yet was expected to be neat and being mess was a way to say fuck you when I didn't have the words. Cleaning to me brings up a ping in my brain about my mom shipping me to an abusive extended family for a week, bc id enjoy them certainly, so she could gut my room and throw out shit left and right having no idea of what things had value. This was a Power play, bc she never felt the urge to wash my blanket, which I would not release for laundry, while gone, just get rid of my things.
So yeah. Got baggage around cleaning.
However, I need to clean my room. Every bit of research says a net and clean environment would improve my outlook.
So I'm asking y'all to help give me tips to motivate me to actually do it, and to hold me accountability on whether I have. Don't just tag, reblog or reply, bc that shit is useful for anyone and more like to be seen my mean.
Please help me get this done.

We're going to try a different sort of post today. A compilation of interesting little details that we spotted in the art for Fallout 76's 14th season, Fight for Freedom.
Tumblr media
First off, the cars shown off in the art consist of a Chryslus Sedan as seen in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, with two Corvega Atomic V8s from Fallout 4 and 76 shown on either side.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Secondly, the marching soldiers appear to be wearing a version of the Free States Revolutionary outfit, available in 76's Atomic Shop.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And finally, the building behind Liberty Prime appears to be loosely based on the real life Chrysler Building. Members of our Discord server have unofficially dubbed this the "Chryslus Building," although a location by the same name has already appeared in Fallout 3.

We're not going to link you to anything in particular today, but you can join our Discord server and join in these conversations (or just enjoy the dear hearts and gentle people) using this link here: discord.gg/falloutwiki

Pieces like this simply don’t mention a crucial fact : a long politically–mandated “pause” in ordering nuclear power stations, which was announced as a measure to provide time for debate over new energy policies. The last reactor to be connected to the grid in France was Civaux 2 in 1999.
Anyone who understands industrial engineering will realize immediately that the effect of such a measure would be to wreck the nuclear supply industries, so that they would have to be rebuilt for any future construction, with long delays and at discouraging expensive. The political observer will surmise that this was the intended purpose, especially considering that there was no shortage of voices warning what would happen. And the results have been exactly what was anticipated.

I've recently started Stargate Atlantis and just finished The Eye, and there's been some crazy and intense concepts so far! But I think the one that's flooring me the most isn't the world building of the ancient gene or the concept of the wraiths and them feeding on years of human life, but the fact that apparently Rodney built a fucking atomic bomb for his 6th grade science fair

I’ve been reading some theories on the status of Grulovia twenty years after the deluge, and speculation seems to range from “it no longer exists” to “it got invaded again” but sometimes I think about the idea of the Grulovia that lived. The Grulovia that survived. The Grulovia that clung on by the skin of its teeth, took every bit of stolen wealth that the Maliks couldn’t take with them, and used it to rebuild. The Grulovia that beat the odds.
I can only imagine what kind of country it would be like. A country of those who stayed behind, of those who wouldn’t - or couldn’t - leave for greener pastures. A country equal parts traumatized, hopeful, and vindicitve. A country with a fear and distrust of psychics that is both deeply unfair and deeply understandable. A country trying to reinvent itself even as it’s still digging itself out of the ice, half trapped in the past and half desperately running from it.
This is all just speculation on my part, of course, but I personally think that, in a hypothetical “Return to Grulovia” storyline, a place like that makes for a much more interesting setting than an uninhabited frozen wasteland. It becomes a lot harder to confront the ghosts of your mistakes when it turns out those ghosts never actually died.
