We’ve compiled a list of tasty recipes with at least 8 grams of fibre per serving to help you eat well and meet your nutrition goals. Healthy eating doesn’t have to mean giving up on flavour!
Most adults don’t get enough fibre — women need about 25 grams a day, and men need around 30 grams, according to the 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. To reach these goals, add more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to your meals. Just remember to increase your fibre intake gradually to avoid any stomach discomfort.
Not sure where to start? Try adding beans to your grain bowls, using hummus or guacamole instead of mayo, or packing extra crunchy veggies into a stir-fry. Soups and salads filled with vegetables are also great options. And don’t forget to start your day with a high-fibre breakfast to set the tone for the rest of the day!

Ingredients: 2 sweet potatoes, peeled and diced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 large eggs. 1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese. Fresh thyme leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C. In a baking dish, mix the sweet potatoes that have been cut up with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Put the sweet potatoes in an oven that has already been heated and roast them for about 20 minutes, or until they are soft and a little crispy. When you take the baking dish out of the oven, make four holes in the sweet potatoes for the eggs. Slowly break an egg into each well. Spread the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese out over the eggs and sweet potatoes. Put the baking dish back in the oven and bake for another 10 to 12 minutes, or until the egg whites are set but the yolks are still a little runny. Add some fresh thyme leaves as a garnish. Enjoy your tasty baked eggs with sweet potatoes and Gorgonzola while they're still hot.

Warm up a griddle or nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Use butter or oil to lightly coat the surface. For each pancake, put 1/4 cup of batter on the griddle. After about two to three minutes, the top should start to bubble and the edges should look set. After you flip the pancakes, cook them for another minute or two, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked. You can top the pancakes with extra maple syrup and other things you like.
